We made reservations 3 weeks in advance to stay at this hotel so that we could enjoy our daughters wedding. When we arrived we were asked for our name and if we had a reservation. We gave them the information that they asked for and then they proceeded to tell us that we couldn't check in untill 3p. M. The wedding was at 3:30. If check out is at 11a. M. You would think that by 3p. M. That the rooms would done. Tub in the bathroom was dirty, and so was the corners of the floor of the bathroom. Not a place I would recommend.

Really nice hotel. Room was clean. Bathroom is a little dark and outdated but it works. Had no issues during our stay.

Very clean! Nice spacious rooms, continental breakfast had a variety of hot and cold drinks, hot and cold food item to choose from. The staff was so nice and sweet! Cathy the front desk clerk was such a sweetheart! Thank you for showing my family the best hotel stay! We would 100% stay here again!

Very friendly staff very friendly not bother for anything and the right place if you go D vicit for a family recluse.

Local people run this place and know where everything is to be found. They were all very nice and extremely helpful. Rooms were fairly clean and service was as good as you could expect.

The rooms are clean and the room was nice a cool when we arrived. Staff very nice and accommodating. Best if all the swimming pool was warm! LOVE.

This hotel seemed like a nice place to stay, but I will never know for sure. The hotel website was not set up to handle reservations or to check on availability. I contacted the hotel by using the email address on the website but never received a reply — after waiting for 2 weeks. I'll be staying elsewhere instead.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms, pool and eating area are comfortable and clean… just a really nice and homey place to stay!

We stayed in one of the extended stay rooms, so they are a little bit bigger and give you plenty of space to spread out. It was very easy to keep the room a comfortable temperature. We made ample use of the full size fridge. The rooms aren't expensive for what you get and, for us, it was close to two different sets of family. There are a couple of good local restaurants in town, as well. As always, the staff was friendly.

Very clean employees were nice good water pressure and soft beds.

People at the front desk are so rude and NOT welcoming at all!

We have stayed at the Irish House three times in the past year. The most recent in January. I don't mind paying a little extra for a motel room as long as I don't have to go out for breakfast. Cereal and muffins isn't my definition of breakfast. The first two times we stayed there, there was biscuits and gravy. What happened? I kinda get it if it was during the week but this was during the weekend.

We stayed at the Irish House for a local wedding. The accommodations were nice, clean, and very affordable. The inside pool was definitely a hit with the kids. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the area. They were also extremely great in getting an overlooked pair of glasses back to us ASAP. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Mt. Sterling!

We came to visit at the prison hotel was nice confortable the staff is nice.

The pool was a little cold but for the money you cant go wrong. Very peaceful place, great staff. Very nice building. It is a little hard to find but an awesome place.
