First of all I want to say that all of these negative comments are nothing but pure lies and people who want something for nothing. The owner, manager and housekeepers are very caring and loving individuals, I would know from living there two times and we're about to move back for the third time in 15 months, so they can't be all bad. Within 120 days I had 35 seizures and required medical attention and the owner and manager always did ask are you okay? how are feeling? Those are folks why deeply care. So, if you need a hotel that has a caring staff, clean rooms and has all kinds of stores and convenience stores within a few blocks, then book with Riyal Relax Inn. I give them 5 out of 5. They're simply the best!

Saw first hand pictures of the rooms in the place and was absolutely disgusted.

Zero stars if I could. Seriously spend the little extra for a room. No toilet paper, no refrigerator. Charges $3 online for a “cleaning fee” and at time of arrival for “credit card fee” even if you’ve paid online. Sketchy place and people. The room is just so small.

For the price in St Louis this is not bad. Just spray the room with perfume upon entering… its musty; I guess that's what you could call the smell. The air did work! huge plus!

For what we paid and expected, it was worth it. Room was clean, with mini fridge and microwave. No bed bugs or bugs of any kind. Front desk staff was polite. Bed was clean, fresh sheets and comfortable. Quite neighborhood. Very limited amenities. Would have given 5 starts but description says continental breakfast, and pictures show at least coffee and there was neither. I would definitely stay again.

Really good for a stop overnight. Bed very comfortable, the room was very clean. The staff very friendly. The place us very cute and quiet!

My husband and I are staying here for awhile. The entire staff are very professional and will make you feel right at home. If you have a problem they will take care of it right away.
The rooms are clean and you will fall in love with the bed. The entire set up is well worth it. The onsite laundry facility is great. If you want a clean, comfortable, quiet and reasonable priced place to stay, choose the Royal Relax Inn. You wont get any better than this.
Stop by and ask for Marie. She will take care of you. No matter what staff member you get, you will be taken care of and treated like family. Very LGBT friendly.

It's a very nice motel. We love our stay at there. Staff is very nice and polite too. Rooms are clean. Nice location every thing near that location. It's located near Cahokia. We love that place.

This place is a fuckin joke. The indian owner is a fucking rude ass discriminating joke. The beds stunk. He threatens cops for no reason other than having a friend whom only has 1 leg being hard of walkin to tge desk to register when we got back. While people all through yhe building were doing and selling fuckin drugs. Harrassing us at his finest. Dont fuckin stay here. Its not worth the money. Cheap or not. Find elsewhere im tellin u!

Website says $48 get there and they say it’s $58 for one person.

They are rip offs I paid for a hotel room with double beds off priceline for 2 adults and two kids and when I go check in they say I have to pay 15 per child and to top it off they say I have to pay $3 for using a debit card on priceline dont spend your money here low budget but charges high prices will never ever ever use again.

Best customer service you will ever recieve in a motel/hotel. You will not be disappointed. You will fall in love with the bed. My husband and I are currently staying here on a weekly basis.

There is places you could live and you could have you own bedroom.

I stayed here a few days ago and was pleasantly surprised. It was nice… I'd say nicer but according to some reviews, I was expecting pretty bad, like the motels on Watson rd in Webster Groves, St. Louis County. Our room was clean, nice counter tops, big TV mounted on the wall and mirrors surrounding a nice big comfy bed. Mmhmm! I would definitely have no hesitation to stay at this inn again!

I'm a truck driver that operates a day cab so I'm often stuck in a motel room. Now I've been in some crappy company paid motel rooms, but this one takes the cake. Looks somewhat decent from the outside, but as soon as you get in the room you'll instantly want to leave. Holes in the wall, nasty beds, broken furniture, mold, and a funky smell are all qualities this room has. Now that's not even the worst part, after 9pm, the gangbangers walk around the lot screaming at the top of their lungs in broken English I assumed. I honestly thought I would have been shot if I stayed outside for any amount of time. Only reason they even deserve a single star would be the porno channel…

They only get 1 star bc there is no lower number. Roaches everywhere. We got there I went in the bathroom saw the baby roaches & was disgusted didn't need to see anymore. They need 2 shut that mf down YUCK!

Bathroom was OK, the room itself was dirty and faceplates on electrical outlets were missing. It's a cheaper place so I could live with that, but they gave us a room that smelled like a chimney even though they admitted that we booked a non-smoking room — "we steam cleaned the carpets, it shouldn't smell anymore! ". Booking also included breakfast, but there is no breakfast.

Contrary to our reservation was placed in a smoking room. The comforter had holes in it (cigarette burns? ). The staff was rude at check-in and forced us to pay a $3 cash fee for use of a credit card (even though we had already paid? hoping we don't get charged again). The room was only marginally clean and looked about 3 steps rattier than most of the pictures so far (sorry I don't have my own…) A trip to Walmart and half a can of febreeze later the room was bearable for the night. Was later able to get a 20% refund through Priceline because the hotel acknowledged they hadn't given us the room we had reserved.

It was all there and the bed was clean. A little off-the-street, but otherwise OK. Sorry, no fridge available.

OK experience, got there pretty late so pretty much just slept. The rooms looks like the furniture is handbuilt. Did not try the Wi-Fi but it exists. No complimentary shampoo, just two bar soaps. Otherwise the room has everything else you could expect.

Please do not stay here if your looking for nice AND cheap. Bed has a top sheet an a plain dirty sheet. Pillows in dirty pillowcases and werent even put up. Hand towels werent folded. Over charged us said it would be 58$ an took 25$ more! Not even a fridge. Waste of money.

Not a good experience, they ripped me off charged me 25$ for 3 hrs, had me thinking I was good for the night! I will not be returning! I think illegal activities are going on there!

Good motel and a nice place to for a overnight stay or a short stay. Clean and simple.

Not a great or cheap place. 85 dollars for a room with 2 beds for 1 night and seen a roach in the bathroom! Room was small! Had my kids and was flipping through channels and porn pop on the screen. Was not happy!

The motel is well clean nice rooms to stay in and the staff is very polite and will work withyou. I don't know what those other people talking about but the rooms are nice to stay in. I give it a five star.

This Is A Horrible Hotel They Don't Have Free Breakfast Free Wi-Fi Or Anything The Hot Water Works When It Wants To And The Rooms Do Not Be Clean.

There's no Wi-Fi, no breakfast not even coffee, there's nothing here. If u stay nightly weekly count on your things being gone through! And yes! Hourly rooms rented 2 3 4 5 hours!. The rooms stink, all rooms smell like open sewer. And you know what they pay employees? Housekeeper 2 dollars a room. And front desk 3 dollars an hour… Then they lie and don't want to pay that! Do not spend your hard earned money here. There's mice bugs. There's other motels nicer just few miles away. And this is the worst area Washington park and east st Louis. This place is a joke.

The things in the other reviews were true. The have a rule sheet you have to sign. They charge you 10 per visitor and they have to sign in and out at the desk. Everyone that works there actually lives there and they all look like severe drug addicts. The room was clean though. They have a free adult movie channel.

The room was decently furnished, but that's really the only positive I have. No breakfast, couldn't get on the Wi-Fi, stained pillowcase. It's hard to access due to a median in the road that passes by.

Our first experience of staying in a US motel. It was not as terrible, as the comments go, but yes, no breakfast, stained towels, no hairdryer, no chairs in the room, with "hourly service" available for those who want it. Feels like we are part to an average american drama movie, even some typically filmed characters available both as other guests and in reception — quite surrealistic :-).

Absolute shit hole! It in fact deserves 0 stars but can't rate it as such so I'll call it how it is, disgusting, stinks and unfortunately the only place for miles if your heading East. SMELLS like dumpster juice and probably hasn't been renovated since the 70's. Stay away.

Do not stay here under any circumstances! Rooms are disgusting and smell terrible. The was hair all over the bathroom, mold in the shower, and rats in the walls. On top of all that, the staff knocked on our door at 2:30 AM, unlocked the door before we could get out of bed, and threatened to tow our car for no freaking reason. Avoid this place.

The most horrific hotel I have ever laid eyes on. The thought of staying here made me physically ill. It's dirty, disgusting, and used for prostitution hence their "hourly rates" I could not imagine laying down in this rat hole. DON'T WALK! RUN! (Unless you have a prostitute to bang, in which case they supply the complimentary condoms).

Don't do it! The rooms were moldy and the ceiling was falling down in the second one. We were in the room for 20 seconds and had to get our money back. I don't usually take the time to write reviews but I had to do it this time. We decided to stop being cheap and dropped the extra 20 and went to the super 8 down the road. Definitely worth it.

I give it a five star. The night shift was very nice and showed great hospitality. I love the service.

We went here once, there was a fishbowl of condoms on the countertop and the man working there charged hourly rates — GROSS we got a room, there was a gap between the door and the threshold, and was so scary we turned around and drove away as fast as we could! worst motel in america award.
