Nice place. Clean and good location n.

Mobility accessible rooms are the best we have found and room was sparkling clean and beds were comfortable. Staff was outstanding, friendly and professional.

Super accommodating folks there the only thing bad the pool was closed boo-hoo we wanted to swim really clean and nice comfortable beds.

Braden was wonderful! I really wanted popcorn last night but we were tired from travelling so I didn't get any. This morning as we were checking out I was disappointed to find out that they only serve popcorn in the afternoon and that I would miss it. Braden got me the popcorn they bagged from last night and even opened up the door so I could put the flavors on it. It was wonderful that he went an extra mile to help me with my quest for popcorn.

Dirty and rude staff! Manage is very rude. A lot of stuff covered up to go unnoticed. Go thru staffing like crazy.

We stayed here while passing through on our 12 day road trip. We found this hotel to be very comfortable, clean and a great value for a king room! Loved the Neutrogena products in the bathroom, as that as is what I use and haver never seen them in a hotel. It's those little touches that make the stay a great one!

Staff was great. I got there late without a reservation and there were only two rooms choose from. One was a king, which I prefer, but also a smoking room. Yes, they still have these. I was worried it would be stinky. So, I was offered a key to check out the room before I book it. I thought this was a nice customer service piece. Anyway, room wasn't very bad and had all the modern furniture that you're used to in a Hampton. The hotel was under some renovation or something and one elevator wasn't working. Breakfast was good, as always.

It was a good location. Gas station and food near by. The rooms were clean along with the sheets. Breakfast was better than a lot of other hotels we have been to. The only negative is there was constant banging through the night. Not super loud but enough to keep a light sleeper awake.

Due to an unexpected change in our travel plans, I had to cancel our reservation with less than 24 hours notice. The person I spoke to on the phone was unrelenting and borderline rude. I was charged $129 for a room I never used. I also wrote to Hilton corporate, and they were unwilling to either refund my money or give me a free or discounted future stay. Thus, I will not be staying at ANY Hampton or other Hilton property in the future, and will urge family and friends to do the same. Hilton, I hope you enjoyed my $129, because you are missing out on several times that in lost future business.

Beds were very comfortable and room was clean. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was very good with a better than average selection. Would definitely recommend.

This is a beautiful well appointed hotel located just off the interstate. Our room was clean and laid out a bit differently than the traditional Hampton Inn designs we've seen recently. It was the best bed I've ever experienced during a hotel stay. They offer the typical Hampton Inn breakfast buffet, and we carried our trays to the little patio outside. The only problem or concern is that the only access to that patio is through the pool area. There are less expensive places to stay in the area, but I would say this hotel is worth spending a bit more.

Had a corporate event there. Cleanliness of hotel is super. Very cordial staff. Audio for the meeting was not the best for our setup though.

This was my last night of a long travel vacation. I drove up from South Padre Island and was exhausted. Walking into Effingham Hampton Inn Suites was exactly what I needed for rest, relaxation, and details that made me feel special (cookies, popcorn, lemon water, and more). Vicki was delightful and helpful that evening and Nick was equally helpful the next day. My room was spotless with a comfortable bed. I could go on and on here, from the wonderful breakfast to the amenities in the room, but that could take all day! Just know that this hotel is perfect and amazing. Thank you.

Stuck overnight due to bad driving weather on Easter Sunday. Hotel staff was just as helpful as always on a holiday like that. The hotel had a nice clean warm hot tub waiting as well. If only the jets were a little stronger.

Hotel is nice and clean. Staff is friendly. Check in and check out is easy. We had a tear on our bed sheets but they were clean and smelled wonderful. Bed was super comfy. They had free cookies and popcorn in the lobby when we came back from dinner which was a nice treat. Breakfast was little to be desired but it was edible. We would stay here again.

DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING if you are a business traveler and have to change your plans. They have done away with cancel by 6PM and now it's 24 hours. Got charged full cost of the room to cancel (minus the tax of course which I am sure is against IRS rules but I'm checking with the IRS on that one. ) Person on the phone basically told me "tough sh. "! Will never stay at a Hilton property again.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel with our children. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We will come back again.

Good location right off the highway, many eating options just down the road. Easy check in with a friendly staff and just as easy check out. Parking lot is easy to navigate with a moving truck and car trailer. Free breakfast is always a plus.

Great Hampton inn. It's what I expect from the chain. The quietest rooms are the ones away from the highway and away from the elevators. There's a lot a great restaurant near by called fire fly. The hot items for breakfast can be hit or miss. They started offering popcorn in the lobby.

While the rooms were nice, planning a room block here was far more difficult than I should have been. On several occasions our guests could not get a room within the block because the front desk receptionists did not know how to make this happen. As a result I had to call the program coordinator each time to get our guests added. Also we couldn't get a final guest count because none of the receptionists knew how to do this. Not the end of the world but easily preventable.

We stayed here the night before and the day of the summer eclipse. The hotel opened the breakfast bar an hour earlier than it usually does and even made extra to go breakfast bags. The rooms were nice and clean. The hotel was perfect overall.

Newer, very clean and nice hotel. I would say one of the top in town. Good location, close to Walmart and fast food. Make sure you drive to the city center to see the sculptures on the corners and some of Effinghams locally owned restaurants and cafe.

The room was clean and comfortable from the moment we arrived. Great accommodations right off the interstate. No bed bugs if you are concerned about that. This hotel includes a clean gym and swimming pool, as well as a free continental breakfast. Great place to stop on a road trip or to visit Effingham.

Great hotel located off the interstate. Very clean and well kept. If you need a room just to sleep and relax while on the road this is a good place. We have stayed here twice while traveling to visit family and find it to be consistent in quality and service.

The meeting room was nice clean. Also setup in a professional matter. Front counter person was very nice and pointed me in the direction I needed to go.

I'd give this hotel a 6. Beautiful hotel, fantastic/quiet room with a very comfortable bed. Front desk staff was so nice. Hot cookies AND popcorn. We were welcomed as Diamond members, AND here was a bag of goodies in our room. Hotel is surrounded by all kinds of restaurants and anything you can want to do. We stayed in 5 hotel rooms in 6 nights on a drive from Arizona to Indiana, and even though we had good luck with almost every one of them, this was hands down the best hotel we've stayed in (and we travel a lot). Excellent value for such a beautiful hotel.

This is a nice hotel, one of the newest in Effingham. Right by all the fast food restaurants and just down the road from the Firefly Grill. All the pizza places and China Express deliver right to your room. Price is on the upper range for Effingham.

Rooms were clean and breakfast was very good. Front desk staff very friendly. We stopped without reservation, late at night and thankfully it wasn't a problem getting a room. Any Hampton I stay in has always been clean, updated, with nice breakfast.

Run of the mill Hampton Inn. Everything was great until I was checking out. The day clerk was not rude, but she wasn't beryl friendly or helpful either. She just kind of stared at me when I walked to the front desk, and didn't even offer a simple "Good morning. "

Newer hotel. Comfortable beds. Large rooms. Great customer service. Accommodated handicapped traveler with a room close to the elevator graciously. Will return whenever traveling through the area. Enjoyed an excellent dinner at the Firefly Grill nearby and a show at the Effingham Performance Center during our stay.

Great experience at this hotel. The room was large and spotlessly clean. They even had a crib waiting after we mentioned we had an infant. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was great. I definitely recommend staying here.
