When we got there early, they only had one room ready. They said give them some time and they would get the second room close to the first one. 1 1/2 hours later, we ask if they had our second room ready. It was 2 floors down. They finally got us a room on the same floor but on opposite ends of the floor. If I hadn't made the reservation 1 month ago, I would understand. Also, this hotel does not have a free breakfast buffet. The room was nice enough and the staff was friendly.

Awesome experience, one night and all amenities just right. Polite and very helpful desk employees, nice and very clean bathroom with a lot of towels, 15 minute shower stayed perfectly hot with strong, consistent water pressure. TV and mini fridge clean and worked well, air conditioning very strong and cooled room quickly. I give it a 9.5 out of 10 (leaving performance space for a perfect score because everyone likes to improve something!

I travel a lot and simply put continue looking because you can do much better. The hotel is dated and in need of renovation. The room had a strong odor like that of an old monastery. The room was either hot or freezing cold due to the thermostat location. The tub was so out dated it was hard to stand up in so narrow. I honestly am shocked over all the good reviews almost makes me suspect.

Toilet was stopped up and the desk chair fell apart. It was nice other than that. We stayed at Rockford holiday Inn the night before it was old and run down and the shower didn't work. People were nice and did everything to fix and make it right. The Bolingbrook hotel was new and very nice. I would go back if I was ever in the area.

It was alright. Located almost directly off of I-55 and can be seen from the interstate. Definitely not worth the price I paid for it. If you have hotel reward points via IHG, be sure to tell this hotel you plan to use them before you book… Otherwise you will not be allowed to use them, no matter what they told you. On the phone when I booked, I asked about being able to pay for a hotel room with reward points after I checked in. I was told yes, and once I arrived I was declined the ability to pay for points because I had apparently failed to book through the IHG website. Breakfast was also a $10 extra experience. There is a bar in the hotel. Overall: an okay nights stay that is priced for an exceptional nights stay.

Clean spacious suites, comfortable beds, great shower pressure and free Wi-Fi. Great breakfast buffet. Staff friendly and attentive and very short wait time for room assistance. Overall I was very pleased no complaint. I will definitely be returning to this hotel.

The hotel is beautiful. The room for the event was set up nicely and had great service.

Went to a business meeting and the hospitality of the company was impressive.

Room was clean and in good condition. Close to several restaurants. I was part of a wedding party that was staying and the person at the front desk told all of the wedding guests there would be a shuttle for everyone to and from the reception. As it turned out the shuttle to bring everyone back from the reception only sat about 9 people so we had to Uber back to the hotel which cost us $30. I feel like it would've been a good idea to warn us that the shuttle wouldn't fit everyone considering the number of people he told. The bar prices are high; expect to pay around $8 per drink. The breakfast was expensive for what you got as well.

Charles run a great restaurant here where we have been eating breakfast for two weeks. He and his staff remember our needs, are quick with service and the food is very good. Thank you also to the the chef.

Its what you would expect from holiday inn. Good service, nice people and great atmosphere.

I called this place home for two and a half months while working at UPS in Hodgkins. I made small talk with the friendly restaurant staff in the mornings eating breakfast, which is made-to-order and is great quality. The rooms were admittedly unspectacular, but you're not staying at Holiday Inn for luxury. Staff was always ready to help and I never had to wait long for assistance if there was a line. I can't comment on normal cost as I stayed with a corporate rate. I'd stay here again for sure.

Room was well furnished and things like coffee and toiletries were restocked daily if used. Everything seemed clean and I liked their pillows. The servers in the restaurant area were polite and prompt. I'd stay there again. AC unit was slow to change the temp in the room though and the Wi-Fi ranged from slow to terrible. The bed was too firm for me, but that might be a positive for some. It didn't bother me too much, but my window faced the highway and there was quite a bit of light coming in at night which the curtains did little to stop. So if you have trouble falling asleep if it's not dark you might watch out for that.

The location is in Bolingbrook. The room was clean and a good size. The service was friendly and bar/restaurant was nice. Shuttle driver to our event drove very fast! Driver back was very monotone. So improvement would be, more friendly and engaging and safe drivers.

The hotel is clean and tidy. Staff seems friendly and helpful. Nice rooms with microwave and refrigerator, which is a plus for me.

Been staying here for work for the last 7 years. Always had a great experience. Was surprised to see this last visit this week that they remodeled. Now it's even better! A+ Very friendly and helpful staff too!

Updated rooms and beds are very nice, prices in the restaurant could be better, some coupons on check-in or a discount while staying in the hotel would be nice.

Super comfy bed! Complimentary breakfast from their in house restaurant. Overall better than your average hotel.

Very nice … it has everything you would need. I enjoyed the hot tub. The room was very satisfactory and had a bar on the first floor. I will be going back on my next time I'm there.

Small bar and grill area but good selection of beer and we had apps. Breakfast is cooked to order. Very good. Staff was very good.

The hotel is very clean and has all the latest accommodations. Despite a billing mishap by a front desk clerk, the hotel manager (Mike) displayed the excellent qualities of honesty and good business ethics. The values and great communication skills of this manager are exceptional. Five stars for this one!

Really closer to 4 stars. Clean and cozy and convenient! But we unfortunately had a room with a few problems. A broken lock on the bathroom door — we had to keep the door open until maintenance located a part to fix it. We were told 24 hours but we stepped out and it was fixed when we returned. We also had an overflowing toilet which we had to hunt down a plunger for and then return. That was a little too DYI for me. Other than the two minor issues, it was a good stay.

I used this hotel for our wedding block in June. The hotel is newly remodeled and very nice. I got the presidential suite and it was a great size to have my bridal party get ready in. Their bar is also very nice and the bartenders were great. That is about the only positives of having our block at this hotel. Guests would call to book a room and were told it was full when there were plenty of rooms left. This continued to happen even after talking to them about it. Then they would book outside the block and were able to get cheaper rate than were offered for my block. I thought the point of a block was to get a cheaper rate? I was told a schedule for my shuttle would be displayed and it was not. Even after I reminded them, they got the times wrong. The driver for our shuttle didn't show up on time which made many of my guests miss half of my wedding ceremony. No one even acknowledged that it happened until I said something the next day. There was also an issue afterwards, and many people had to get an uber back. I would definitely recommend not using this hotel.

I had a quick overnight stay so didn't get the full experience. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

I believe this hotel is too expensive for what they offer. They have plenty of parking spaces, their staff provide good service and are polite as far as I can tell, however I had a few problems during my two week stay: The Wi-Fi network was so slow The toilet didn't flush well sometimes Noisy air conditioning Low quality lighting and switches And their breakfast buffet despite not being included, was so bad that I preferred to eat elsewhere.

Nice conference room size, would have been nice if they had more projectors since they were being used in other rooms. Service was excellent and lunch provided was very good.

I enjoyed my stay. Loved the room, it was a great size. Loved the pool, it was warm.

Standard Holiday inn. Comfortable and clean room. Pretty good insulation between rooms, so it was quiet. Room had good temperature control too.

Maintenance in rooms needs improvement to avoid finding pubic hairs in towels and bed. Also it's very unpleasant to find many hidden charges after you trust them by giving them your credit card to pay for the room. The strong smell of chlorine makes it unbearable to relax by the pool, yet the pool water is very dirty. Many guests drinking beer and eating around the pool getting drunk and being rude specially around children it's just not the right place to go to if you are looking to have a good time, very expensive not worth the drive nor the stay I truly regret choosing this place.

Friendly front desk lady. Room was clean and what I have come to expect at a holiday inn. Breakfast buffet was good. Would start here again if in the area.

Room was fine. There was a power outage for a large part of the morning we checked out. It was for the entire town block, so not really their fault, but it was very inconvenient not having access to the elevators.

The room is clean and comfortable, breakfast was excellent with great service. Only here for business.

I do not recommend this hotel. I would suggest choosing one of the many other hotels on Remington. We spent 1 night at this hotel as part of a wedding block reservation, and we were charged a smoking fee of $100 dollars out of nowhere. The management was stubborn and made clear that there was no way out of this fee, even though we absolutely did not smoke in the room. When we asked for proof, they had none. I understand that people contest these fees all the time, but they offer no avenue for contesting this fee nor understand the possibility that their employee made a mistake. In general, I have been very unhappy with how Holiday Inn has handled this situation. A call to corporate customer service was equally as garbage as talking to the management directly. Don't stay here, there is nothing stopping them from charging you too.

I was surprised that a fridge was missing from the room. However, I think they're such a waste of energy, so I'm glad that there isn't one. I couldn't have finished my leftovers anyway :-).

Very clean. Very affordable. I really enjoyed my stay. Especially the hot tub! And it's really near Walmart and other good stores.

The only reason I rated the hotel value as good is because I got a rate of $75 a night. I would not pay anymore than this. The rooms were clean but small, with an outdated television and very thin blankets. The pool area was nice. The front desk staff was friendly. The restaurant experience was horrible. We paid $10 for a buffet. The wait staff was rude, did not wait on us at all. They did not provide drinks or silverware until halfway into the meal and at that time they had already given us the bill. It was unacceptable. I probably wont stay there again.

What a hot mess! It was a nightmare trying to check in for a wedding. Apparently they had set our check-in date a day earlier than our arrival and put us as a no show, which basically cancelled our reservation. They acted like it was our fault and said they said hey we will work something out, we are pulling some strings to get you a room. The next day we checked out. I got my bank statement a couple days later and they had charged me $250. I was there one night for $89. I called about the charge and they said they did not even have a record of us staying there. They would not pull the information up by the room because the name was not correct. We kept going around in circles and finally after 45 minutes of trying to get this taken care of, they figured it out. They charged me for the "no show night" along with a no show fee. Get it together guys! Customer service, take some responsibility.

For over 8 years I have dealt with their stupidity by housing coporate clients in the hotel. Every year they screw something up that affects my well oiled business machine. But now that there are alternatives across the parking lot from them I am finished. Back in the day, they were the only hotel around. Bye bye Holiday Inn. Hello Springhill Suites.
