Review of Best Western Plus Bolingbrook 2*

Went through expedia a few days prior to reservation. When we got there the guy up front had head phones in and didnt even greet us so I say checking in. Give him my last name and hes on the computer for a while and says he cant find my reservation. So I show him the confirmation. He says ok and gets on the computer some more and asks how much the room was supposed to be and then bills me the amount on the confirmation. Im like great as long as u have the room! we go up to the room and its a single bed. We go back down stairs and I say do u atleast have a rollaway? he says idk I can bring one up for u but I dont know off hand. I said ok we will wait till u find one. He goes and looks and comes back down and says there are none and he can give us a bunch of blankets for the floor. I said well im not paying 100 dollars for my son to sleep on the floor. Let me call another hotel. We do and we find another one that is obviously more expensive since it is last minute. I say can u refund it. He says sure and says we dont have the room because his manager gave it to someone else. I said thats kinda ridiculous. I know theres a run in chicago but u dont give out peoples rooms. He said well im sry about that. I asked for a reciept and he said his system couldnt print one. I dont understand how u can bill someone but not have a receipt. He got a phone call and took the phone call while I wrote down my email for him to email it to me. Its been 24hrs and I havent been refunded or emailed. In fact my account says ive been charged twice. This place is insane and people need to stay away. They straight up dont care and are sketchy as hell. Dont say I didnt make a reservation, take my money without telling me youre booking a smaller room and then when I go back downstairs admit u gave my room away. No error on my part. They could just care less because they want a quick buck. These reviews giving 5 out of 5 but leaving no comment are probably the hotel making fake names to get their average up. Dont let them fool u please. I was glad in the end not to stay because when we went up to the wrong room it smelt nasty and was dirty anyways. Spend the extra 20 down the road.
