On two separate occasions within 24 hours the staff checked our room out to someone else while we were still in the room. When we asked the management about it they said they had no record of our reservation which was made months in advance (and they checked us in successfully earlier that day). One of the times was at 2 am. I was awoken by two teenagers rattling our door who were only stopped by the locking bar. The following morning our key cards didn't work. Several other members of the conference we were attending also mentioned people coming to their doors in the middle of the night. The rooms were filthy, they loudly gave out personal information and key cards at the front desk without verifying our identity, and our stay ultimately ended in a police report. My colleagues jewelry all went missing after we left for dinner. We left after night 1 of a 4 night stay for a different hotel.

Excellent staff and management. Quiet room and comfortable accommodations. Pool is loud though which is normal for any hotel. Updated on 7/12 Yes the staff at the front desk is great and Andy the manager ia good at his job. Unfortunately I had to be treated for an excessive amount of bed bug bites on my legs and back. This is the first time I have experienced this and I am extremely upset by having to deal with such an uncomfortable feeling. Upper management is extremely rude and I will never stay at this hotel again nor will I recommend this hotel to anyone, especially the group I was bringing in for the following weekend.

I wish I could give a negative review. I reserved 4 rooms this past weekend. NONE of the bathrooms were clean. There was dirt spots on the floor. The bathtub had paper in it so long, it was glued to the tub and wouldn't wash off. The carpets were a dirty shade of striped gray. My sister found a USED condom wrapper under her bed, and the staff stole my mother's personal washcloth (she doesn't like hotel linen). When I complained to the desk, she said HC would look into it, but all they did was make the bed. They didn't even bother to throw away the trash. On a positive note, the weekend desk manager, Jacqueline Boyd was VERY helpful. She talked to us and apologized for the hotel's lack of cleanliness. She should be promoted to a better hotel!

We are checked in now. The CARBON MONOXIDE detector outside of our room is either malfunctioning or has a low battery. It continues to beep. The only person working is overwhelmed and her manager/maintenance staff is unresponsive. Is it safe to spend the night?

Beautiful place, questionable business practices. Told me it would take 7 — 10 days to get a refund that I'm owed. I stopped by on day 12 and then told again that the BANK takes 7-15 days to process refund. At Chase Bank now to file a dispute and complaint. … Next move will be to contact Better Business Bureau.

This place is great! If I could I'd give it a 4.5, but 5 is a better estimate. Staff is very nice, breakfast is good, rooms look nice, but the only thing I didn't like / favor much was the pool. From the outside it looks like its dirty, but it's really not. There's a little too much chlorine and I recommend lessening up (just a little bit) on chlorine. But, let's talk about the building itself. It's a 3 level hotel with a pool, breakfast / special event area. Parking lot is a good size. Hotel rooms may vary. Our room was about $250 for a 2 night stay. It had 1 (probably) Queen sized bed with 1 moderately sided bathroom (pretty large compared to others). Also there is a sofa bed to sleep on too. There is a desk, 2 TVs, one extra sink, and 2-3 nightstands. The staff, again, is very nice and are very friendly.

June 9th and 10th. I requested a room with a king bed, top floor not close to elevator. The computer system was down when I checked in on Friday but I was given a king handicap room on the first floor, next to elevator, pool and vending machine. The noise from the pool was ridiculous. Children screaming and no adult supervision. Noise by the vending machine all day. I stayed 2 nights and spent over $300+ and got no rest. I will never recommend this location to anyone. I am very disappointed.

They were very accommodating to the 27 guests that we dropped off there. It seemed like a very nice, well kept place to stay.

Customer service was great. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good, the kids even enjoyed. We'll definitely add this hotel to our favorite hotels to stay.

I just stayed at this hotel, and I have to say that this was the best stay so far in any hotels in this area. The people are soooooo nice! The hotel has a rustic feeling. I was told it was going to be renovated internally. The general manager and his team showed high level of professional care to the patrons, through out the week and the weekend when I stayed. I definitely recommend this place and would not worry about the other bad opinions there, Since I believe in giving every one a fair chance and they proved me right! Thank you.

The facilities were clean and fresh. The breakfast was a good value. The staff were very friendly and helpful!

Here now I would never stay at this nasty hood hotel, A waste of money. My bathroom have blood on the floor just nasty they don’t have any house keeping, The pool area smell strong, When I checked in they gave me a dirty ass room. I wouldn’t let a damn dog stay in this place. Not worth a star. Hotel need to be closed down like now.

When we first arrived in our room I did the usual inspections. Check the sheets, bathroom, floors, and drawers. Everything was dirty, if it hadn't been for the fact that we had already paid we would have left. The TV needs updated, the thing belonged in a museum. So we talked to the manager and she is probably the best thing about the place. She knows her business, she hooked us up with a new room and told us she wouldn't put us in anything she herself wouldn't stay in, she answered any questions we had about the area, if I had to rate the hotel based off of her alone I'd give it a 5, but the pool was so strong with chlorine the kids were coughing and I couldn't swim in it. The last night the pool was closed due to the chlorine levels. My kids only swam one time we were there. That was the whole intentions of staying there. They gave us a reduced rate due to all our issues, but we wish we could have just got our money back in order to stay else where. Live and let learn, maybe my wife will start listening to Google reviews like I do!

Service was terrible arrived at 3pm to check into my room, I was told room would not be ready from r another 2hrs. Room was not ready for me until 5:45pm. I stated that I shouldn’t have to pay the full price due to their inconvenience of me and the manager stated that it was nothing that could be done because what she experienced at HER hotel was out of her control. Also, my 2 children wanted to go swimming, chlorine was so strong as soon as we walked inside the pool area my daughter’s eyes and myself began to burn. Children being children wanted to give it a chance anyhow so we did. My husband joined us at the pool and also complained about his eyes but burning, other children began coughing and 1 child even barfed in the pool due to his excessive coughing. I gathered my children left and went to complain to the front desk and suggested that the pool be shutdown down it was not safe!

Where do I begin? My fiance and I reserved a room and upon our arrival at check-in time we are notified that our room was given to someone else who had NOT placed reservations. We are then placed on a hour long wait for our room to be prepared. When our room is finally "prepared" the maid is still inside our room cleaning it when we arrive. So we decide to go swimming. We get to the pool and they've used so much chlorine in the pool it is physically making my family sick. You can't even walk into the pool area without your eyes burning because of all the chlorine in the air. This is by far the worst inn and suite experience I've ever had in my life. We'd have been better off going to a motel 8. If I could give them zero stars trust me I would .

Incredibly accommodating staff after a car accident left me stranded in a snow storm! They did everything they could to make my stay easier and more comfortable. I cannot say thank you enough.

The hospitality was excellent. The rooms were very clean with soft comfortable beds. Ms Jackie Boyd and her staff catered to our group and we loved everything.

Very nice staff. Facility is clean, a little dated (carpet, bed skirts and bathrooms), but well kept. The room was clean, beds were comfortable and it was nice and quiet. The breakfast was a nice treat too. Got a great discount by booking online from the parking lot.

Didn't have much time to spend there, was mostly out in Chicago. Decent stay. Good breakfast.

The room was wonderful and so was the breakfast and pool area. The staff at the front desk was great. The general manager on the other hand was a very horrible person. He talks to guest so horribly. He is very arrogant and you can tell that he thinks he is better than the people here in this country. The young lady Tracy should really take his position in the management of this hotel. Her personality stands out above measures. She has a lot going on but manages to stay very humble. I would love to see her in and him OUT. I've stayed here one time before, my most recent one with my fiancé and step kids was terrible. The pool was out, they ran out of food. There were housekeeping staff arguing and it takes more than just Tracy doing everything alone. There needs to be more management with BETTER ATTITUDES in the front running this hotel. It's a very great place to stay it's just the flaws of the faces of the man who is he manager. I hope someone from corporate sees this review. And I know that everyone is free to be who they are but I'm hoping that the lady that has purple hair is not on the management team, how unprofessional is that. I seen a lady with a scarf on her head she soon removed it as I seen her later on. They all need to have order it seems as if everybody is on their own page in here. Thanks for reading hope to see changes and myself and my family will return.

I walked in extremely tired and super early on a Friday. Tracy grabbed a radio and went to the back to see if she could help. Had me the room I reserved and checked-in in less than 10 minutes. Stayed 2 days with no complaints. Was able to sleep both days well into the evening. Room was clean and everything worked.

Clean comfy rooms and a very pleasant and attentive staff. Breakfast was hotel normal. The building is kinda tucked away and was a trick to get to late at night. Only complaint was that the beds had tint pilllows and there weren't enough of them.

Do not recommend this hotel at all! The hotel is run down and the rift raft that was there made my families stay a night mare. The police actually had to be called due to a couple who stayed across the hall decided to have sex right in the hall with children running around. My family while leaving for dinner walked out of our room to find them naked with there clothing all over the hallway and the women servicing the male! This us unacceptable and management wouldn't even comp our room after our complaint and our three children including our three year old witnessing this! Terrible! Matteson il do not go! Never again! also the equipment in the exercise room does not work it's only there for show the air conditioning in the room was broken! We called the front desk only to be told maintenance had left for the day. Glad we moved hotels! Holiday inn waaaaay better!

Staff at front desk are very nice. Breakfast is good. Great location. HOWEVER Hotel is loud. Pool area super loud and not comfortable just to hang out as you cant have a conversation with someone while your kids swim its way too loud you cant hear over echo. Also no tables just plastic chairs. Hotel is run down a bit. Hotel lobby is loud and couch is dirty. Our heat/cool unit fan started to run constantly and had a loud clicking. Called front desk and they said sorry the maintenance man left for the day. They could have me move to a different room or unplug unit. I chose to unplug it & stay in room because my child was so tired and I didnt want to have to pack up all our belongings to switch rooms especially since we have to be up at 6am. Room is run down and isnt the cleanest. Not real happy with our stay and wont stay here again.

Hi such an amazing experience… the manager and hotel staff has helped me a lot to explore the city and were really help me a lot… the rooms were nice and cozy thanks for everything.

Rates were surprisingly good. Rooms were clean and quiet. Location was easy to find. Big shout out to Tracy James and her front desk employees! Thank you for making our emergency stay a pleasant one.

This was one of the most pleasant visits ive had at any Country Inn. Your Guest Service Manager, Tracy James, met me upon arrival which I was early before the normal check-in time. She pleasantly explained that I was early and I explained that I was ill and she made a few call and within 30 minutes she had a room prepared for me. She showed a great concern for my welfare and I was very appreciative. My hats off to our staff. The accomodations were pleasant and room was very clean.

I don't know how anyone would say this is a clean hotel or the rooms are clean. One of the dirtiest hotels I have ever been in! Candy wrappers from previous guests in the hallway and in our room, looks like carpets hadn't been vacuumed in the room for weeks, carpet felt moldy under your feet, VERY loud guests in the banquet area could be heard in rooms all along the 2nd floor. On a positive note there were no bedbugs, but we all felt itchy and disgusting staying here. It may be fine if you are looking for a cheap hotel to temporarily live in, but I would not recommend to anyone used to standard basic Buisness class amenities.
