This is where I stay whenever I'm in town. Staff is amazing! Rooms okay but it's the staff that keeps me coming back. I cannot wait until next time!

The cleanliness of the hotel exceeded expectations. The manager was very attentive and hands on. The staff was polite and knowledgeable about things in the area and city for us to do. Would definitely return.

I really love my stay at extended the staff is very friendly Natasha at the front desk is very a blessed person plus also the stuff. The rooms r big clean n very comfortable if you're in Lansing stay at the extended stay.

The ratings almost stopped me from visiting but the price was reasonable & I'm glad I stayed there. The people are friendly & the location is prime especially when you're a foodie. Having a mini kitchen in your room is the best with a full sized fridge, microwave & rangetop it's a travellers must stay hotel.

Such a super, wonderful place to stay at. Staff was so friendly, would talk to you and one gentleman helped us with the cart to get in elevator. I will come there again to stay. 10+

Natasha was awesome! Very nice and very funny. She had me laughing the entire time I waited for my Uber. Was a few weeks back. Forgot about the review but had a horrible experience and had to reflect back to the great one here. So I had to take the time to acknowledge how awesome Natasha was. Plus I charged my phones while waiting. Very nice lady! Thanks again.

Clean hotel. Rooms very nice and spacious. There were no utensils or even disposable cups in the room so getting a drink in the middle of the night was difficult. Breakfast was very sparse too. Not even juice or milk for the kids. Just coffee and muffins.

Natasha and Robin were the best. We stayed here for 4 days and it was absolutely amazing. It was comfortable and quiet, I didn’t even want to come back home. Thank you guys for your great hospitality.

I liked the space overall. Pillows were flat as paper, room wasn't clean just straightened up. Don't think they've vacuumed under the beds in months. Cable may as well be nonexistent. If you've got a firestick, bring it cause their cable suck. You can't get new towels until you return the old ones. Diamond at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful.

I love Extended Stay in Lansing. It is literally my second home. The staff is very welcoming and has been since my first stay there. Tasha, Robyn, Jeannette, Tracey, Leslie, and Diamond are amazing ❤️❤️. Thank you guys for the continued hospitality.

Staff was very nice to me as soon as I got there. Would definitely come back and stay again. Clean, good location. Natasha was a great help in making my stay 100% perfect.

This place was nasty! We didn't stay we opted to just keep driving and go home. The front desk never answered. The floor was so nasty dirty. The room stunk bad of cigarette smoke and dirty. The dial pad on the phone was stained with a brown stain of some sort. The toilet seat was pealing and had cracks and holes on the bottom side. No way I was sleeping in that! No plates or silverware etc in the kitchen they kept that at the front desk. Yup and charged almost 200 dollars!

Me and my mother Had to come here because our home had a flood. The staff here has been nothing but great and amazing. I leave to go to work and they make sure my mother is ok, and that she gets to her dialysis appointments. It’s like a family I HAVEN’T HAD ANY ISSUES while staying here. I’m happy that our home will be complete soon but I’m sad that we will be leaving because this has become our second family. Thank you to the Lansing IL Team, LESLIE, NATASHA, ROBIN, DIAMOND. We love you all and we will never forget you all.

Me and my family came and stayed here because we had problems with our water pipes freezing at home. The lady at the front desk was very polite and patient and honest about rates. ThIs hotel will be the hotel we use and recommend in the future.

My favorite place to stay, the staff is so friendly. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Rooms Are very comfortable, and affordable, feels like a home away from home.

Robin was a great great excellent help she made our stay wonderful. We have stayed a few times and the service is always excellent. The staff is awesome hotel is clean and feels just like home. I️ recommend this place to everyone.

My dad stays there. Despite my fears and concerns with him staying in a motel, this one is actually a really nice place. He's got everyday amenities and the environment is safe, clean and professional. Not home, but if you gotta stay away, this is the place to stay.

The room was clean, paintings on the wall were nice… the TV was a lil small but hey… I enjoyed my stay. The receptionist even called the room on her own to see if everything was in order. I appreciated that greatly…

Hotel was affordable and the room was clean. Loved that they offered free breakfast (nothing too fancy just coffee, tea, hot chocolate, granola bars, oatmeal, and muffins) and the location is very convenient. Only problem would be the fact that there were no pots and pans to cook with. If your advertising that your rooms have kitchens I think it would be nice to supply the equipment to use said kitchen. Realistically guests will not be able to bring pots and pans with them especially if they are traveling on a plane. Just a thought. Also the front desk woman was a little sassy but the check in and check out process was fast. Overall good experience.

Great quality rooms friendly and upbeat staff. Made me feel at home away from home. Fair prices I would highly reccomend this hotel for anyone.

Only issue we encountered was as we wanted to check in before the set time (of 3pm). We called the night before and were told to call the next morning then told to wait till we got there. Simply seemed unnecessary and caused our tight schedule to be delayed. However, everything else was good. The room was clean and had no negative encounters with the other customers.

Love this hotel even though this time I ended up with a smoking room and had to deal with the weed smell on the 3rd floor but the staff was great as usual. They tried they best to put me in non smoking buy was sold out. The next day the front desk moved me to 1st floor and I was happy thru always take care of me. I stayed in this hotel for 6 1/2 weeks between June & July 2017. Through a contract for an internship, this was the location chosen for me to reside without much consideration of the surrounding area or input from my colleagues that are familiar with this area of Illinois. Surrounding Area: Safety was definitely a concern I had staying at this hotel. If you search for the Lansing Police Department and view the weekly crime blotter, you can get an idea of what I mean. Many hotels in this area have frequent vehicle burglaries. This hotel has good lighting in the parking lot and during my time here, I did not read any reports from the Extended Stay Hotel specifically or have any incidents personally, but it does raise a red flag. One Sunday evening, when I arrived back from downtown Chicago, an unmarked police car pulled up to me in the parking lot to warn me not to stay here as this area was not safe. After having brought this to the attention of my employer, they finally decided to relocate me. I am a very active person, but I was concerned to go out and people often stare at you if you walk anywhere near the hotel. Although there are several bike paths in the area, I never felt completely safe venturing out on my own and often carried a knife and pepper spray if I did go out running. Amenities: The hotel itself offered a decently cleaned room, below my standards of a "nice hotel" as I found myself wiping it down with my own supply of Clorox wipes.

Was a decent hotel. A little different from other Extended Stay America's that I've been to in the past. Other ones have provided all the kitchen essentials automatically in your kitchen. I would also suggest replacing the toilet seats in the suite bathrooms. (At least the one in the room I stayed in…) Friendly staff.

I must say that this is a hotel that is very comfortable. It truly has all that a person or family needs for a long term stay. What is special about this hotel is that the staff is very nice and really care for their guest. Another great thing about this place is you can go to restaurants in the area or cook your own meals using the stove or microwave oven in your room. You can actually go grocery shopping and store your food in a normal refrigerator not one of those mini sized one. If you are looking or a short or long term place to stay… this is the place.

The room was clean, but that's about it. The rest of the hotel felt dirty and had a certain odor to it. Dark and dingy. Service was friendly, but they were overworked and did not get to anything. Breakfast was packaged muffins and instant oatmeal.

Stayed here for a family function in the area and I must say it was a great stay. Hotel very clean & quiet which is a big plus, rooms very spacious & accommodating. I like the idea of the complimentary lemonade and popcorn the kids really enjoyed that. Staff was very professional and helpful, Javier was extremely nice. Upon check out we got to met the manager Jeannetta as she was very courteous and polite and thanked us for staying & yes we will definitely be back here. Keep up the good work!

Front desk was very polite. The room seemed pretty clean. The bathroom could have been cleaned better and the side of the refrigerator had sauce splattered on it but the inside of f it was clean. They provide lemonade and coffee in the lobby that was a plus.

I have spent about 2000 nights at the hotels in this chain, do I need say more? Oh, well here we go. They renovate these hotels quite often and the mattress is always good, the rooms are well maintained and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful and always greet you with a smile. have I, in 2000 stays, never had a problem, of course not, but (with one unfortunate exception — not in Lansing) that has always been fixed in a timely manner. One thing that does not work at (some of? ) these hotels is the "room is ready" recording. I have, at first been given a room where the air conditioner was missing, one where the bed was not made, so if you, when arriving in your room, feel like giving the hotel a bad rating, just go to the desk and they will, with an "I'm sorry" and a smile give you the key to a well maintained, clean room.

Pubes in the towels, bugs in the room, broken shower. Need I say more? No, but unfortunately I can. The hotel smelled like rotten Chinese food. There were dirty towels and trash in the elevators that weren't cleaned up for over 12 hours. There was a pube in the face cloth (yes, read that again, a PUBE IN THE FACE CLOTH). The room was dirty. Dead bug on the floor. The hotel does not do wake up calls. No hair dryer provided. And the shower heat was completely broken. Total failure.

It is very dirty! The door in the bathroom was filthy. It Looked like someone wasted a cup of coffee and it splashed every where and no one wiped cleaned it up. There were no garbage cans in the room and the Kitchen area was dirty. They had no coffee pot in the room and it was hair everywhere. Very filthy!

Excellent staff very hospitable and helpful close to a lot of stores and restaurants and the highway.

If you're looking for a peaceful, clean, and very well priced place to stay, this is it! I travel and out of all the hotels I've stayed in, this is my favorite. The whole staff makes me feel at home, and always very helpful! I would have to say this is my home away from home!

This hotel was the only half way decent one within a reasonable distance to 3Floyds Brewery in Munster. It was about a 15 minute drive. We booked the hotel 2 weeks prior with no issues. When we got there the front desk was nice and easy to work with, no points deducted there. The hallways upstairs were all dark and dirty, again not a big deal. The first room seemed clean enough for my standards. Nothing was perfect or spotless but it was fine. When we pulled back the bed sheets there was a lot of hair on the sheets. Like 10-12 little leg hairs (I hope) and several long hairs from someones head. Time to change rooms… Changed rooms without a fuss, again front desk was helpful. He kind of shook his head like this has happened before. Second room had a used condom wrapper on the counter by the sink and a dirty cleaning rag. The fridge was broken and the trays were in the kitchen sink with the nuts and bolts next to it. I took a picture of it so I'm not blame. We just stayed in this room because the bed was clean. We didn't shower or anything like that. Long story short, I paid $127.00 for a hotel that was worth about $60. Bottom line, don't stay here if you don't have to. Only reason they are getting 2 stars is because the staff was friendly and easy to work with.

We were accommodated on every aspect of our needs. I requested seven rooms for 60+ days. With no hesitation the General Manager Ms Jeanetta Richardson and staff assured me that the rooms would be available by check in time the same day. Not only was the room clean, she also provided all the amenities that was need for a long stay. It was a great experience at the extended STAY AMERICA.

Nice place to stay, heating was good, nice and friendly staff, good service. Serene environment.

I like it. I do dislike the smell of marijuana when I get off the elevator on the second floor. The staff is friendly and the hotel is very accommodating with the full kitchen and nice size bathroom. They could use better grab and go breakfast items but owell. The cable sucks.

Perfect! My job required me to stay at this hotel for nearly a month and a half and the staff here were overly impressive. They were responsive to my every need and even remembered my name from the very first day on (which I personally value a lot). I was always met with a smile and the staff members were always more than willing to help me with small tasks such as sending faxes or making copies of paperwork. Thanks to all employees and kudos to the management for their well structured hotel.

5 stars all the way. Best hotel ive been to in a long time. Love how it has a full kitchen, all the dishes and silverware and cookware you need. Tv could use a few more channels but its a beautiful flatscreen. Soft bed. Full size fridge. Microwave. Just awesome. Loved my stay.
