We we're here for dinner. We weren't staying at the inn. It is an attractive older building. We all enjoyed the buffet dinner they offered. Dinner was excellent and the price was reasonable. I'd like to return again and explore the park further.

Nice, quiet hotel in the park! Outdoorsy, country theme. While it's nice, it is not trendy, and is a very old-people kind of place. The inn has a little restaurant too, but for dinner time it's really just a buffet with meat loaf, Turkey, fried chicken, etc. The food isn't bad, but isn't good either. Staff are all friendly and helpful however. I would definitely recommend the inn for anyone looking for a quiet weekend getaway.

Small rooms but nice. Breakfast and dinner buffets were very good. Area is hilly but has nice hiking paths. Pioneer Village very informative. Museum is a must see.

Service was great. The buffet was absolutely outstanding! It was a slow night but they still had everything you could think of. Three main dishes, all the sides, a HUGE salad and desserts. Hanging out in the game room and lobby was also very nice and relaxing. I would highly recommend this place as a "not so far out of the way" place to go grab dinner if anywhere in the area!

Now a senior citizen, I have been visiting Spring Mill State Park since I was an infant. I never tire of going back in time to the pioneer village and water powered Mill. So quiet & relaxing, the Inn rooms are clean & comfy. The smorgasbord meals are delicious. Spring Mill is one of my favorite places to visit in Indiana.

Nestled in beautiful, lush, Southern Indiana wooded Karst, the scenery alone is worth the visit. We were rained in but never felt the cold. There were fireplaces in both lounges, an indoor heated pool, and plenty to do. There was a game room with ping pong, air hockey, video games, crafts, puzzles and nature study. The lobby had a 24 hour gift shop and a nook with many books for nature study. There was lots of free parking. There was a restaurant that served 3 squares with a buffet for a reasonable price with senior discounts. Our dinner buffet had meat loaf, fried chicken, chicken fried steak, and fried fish for entrees. Sides included all the salad extras and more PLUS green beans, soup, mashed potatoes, rolls, etc. Opposite the food bar was a dessert bar that you could not miss, 6 kinds of pie, many cakes, banana pudding, bread pudding, and more. At breakfast they had bacon, sausage, hash browns, pancakes, bagels, bisquits, gravy, oatmeal, granola, 3 kinds of dried cereal, a large assortment of fruit, orange juice, tomato juice, apple juice, chocolate milk, and milk. For a little extra you could have coffee or hot tea. It was all delicious! I probably gained a pound, but you could walk it off with the trails, the caves, the museum, or the historic village, all contained on this property.

We're staying in room 214 this weekend. We've never stayed in this section before. There was quite a bit of trash on the carpet that was still there after the room was cleaned while we were out. It also seems they've had a water issue. Our room had a dehumidifier running. I noticed mold on the ceiling near the heater vent. The ceiling in the shower was cracked and falling off. I don't think our sheets were changed after our first night. We didn't receive a second night's soap and shampoo ration. The trim along the floors was thick with dust. Both windows' locks had been replaced leaving big holes through which air was blowing into the room. I was surprised to see a number of light fixtures with burned out lights in the public areas. The wood on the front doors was splitting apart. I was quite surprised to see the amount of disrepair. We love Spring Mill Inn. The food is always well prepared and the staff are always extremely nice. I hope they aren't having financial difficulties.

The Spring Mill Inn is a hidden gem! As soon as we stepped in the door we fell in love with the place! The staff was amazing! Everything was so relaxing and beautiful. There was snow on the ground and the view was breathtaking. I loved relaxing in front of all of the fireplaces, from the front lobby to the restaurant and the game room even had a fireplace. The game room was well stocked with all kinds of games and puzzles. Our room was very clean and cozy. I traveled with my husband and 2 teenagers. There wasn’t a dull moment! I can’t explain just how much we enjoyed our time at the Spring Mill Inn. We will definitely be back!

I just attended a great friend's wedding there. Wow what a great time. I love the rustic feel of the place. It feels almost like a retreat. There are games to play, activity areas, gifts to buy, and a stellar view. I want to come back and explore with my wife and kid when we are there for more than a day. Great atmosphere in a gorgeous park.
