I've stayed here many times. It's the place I stay when I am in Shipshewana. When you walk in the rooms, they have a fresh, clean fragrance, not a musty, closed smell. I have NEVER had a problem with cleanliness here. The breakfast is not super deluxe but there is hot food that is nutritious and they are there constantly to keep it clean and well stocked. Nitin the owner/manager went out and bought battery cables to help get me going one morning when I left the lights on in my car. You can't ask for better service!

Rooms clean and well maintained. Hot breakfast in the morning. Pets always welcome. Close to all events and attractions in Shipshewana.

I booked a room by calling the Motel direct. I was quoted for two queen beds in non-smoking for Friday. At our arrival we were given a handicapped room with one bed. When I spoke to the person at the desk, I was told I had been quoted a one bed room. He then slowly worked on his computer and without explanation gave me a key to the room at the end of the hall. It was two queens but another handicapped room. The following morning I discovered that the handicapped shower had leftover soap and conditioner bottle in it. The floor had been repaired with putty and there was no pressure from the shower head. When I reported this to the desk at checkout, she did not address the issue with me. I was told after she completed checkout that a manager would call me. Still waiting on that call.

They did not tell me the price at checkin, and gave me a receipt that I consider to be outrageous. They never mentioned they charge $15 for pets until after they charged my credit card. They stopped serving breakfast at 9:00 a. M. And there were people who wanted to eat breakfast until 10:00 a. M.

One of the least expensive place to stay here, they have very comfortable beds, the staff is friendly, and the rooms are clean and quiet. The breakfast is 3 stars but is still a good value.

I have stayed at many Super 8’s and this one was one of the worst! Need badly updated, breakfast was poor, and the water you never knew when you turned it on if you were going to get scolding hot or ice cold. It went to one or the other while taking a shower. If there is nothing else available keep driving!

Very basic. Clean, safe, got that breakfast thing goin on. Strictly motel, not romantic or a place to hang out. Economical, fridge and stuff in the room, and again nice & clean.

Very nice service and well kept rooms. The walls are thin so you can hear the rooms next to you, which was a problem when you're trying to sleep in. The breakfast was actually quite nice.

This place is right next door to the Shipshewana Event Center, which is where most concerts are held. It's half the price of the other hotels and it's clean, with friendly staff. A value in my opinion.

No pool, or hot tub, but it is pet friendly, a must for us and our 2 small dogs.

These hotels are always accommodating. I really like staying at any Super 8. Plus my dogs are welcome.

Okay motel, decent breakfast. A. C. Unit loud, blasted cold air then quit and room warmed up again, then loudly blasted cold air, making restful sleep difficult. Decent shower but tub floor slippery. Pet friendly, a positive.

The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. It's a clean and modern facility. The only reason for not giving it a five star rating is room we were in was not very sound proof. The noise level from the room above ours was loud beyond reason. It sounded like they might come through the ceiling at any time. That being said, the location was great and I would stay there again.

This place is clean neat and professional but most notably was the kindness of the staff starting with nitin the manager, manisha, all the way to mike the front desk clerk I would recommend this place to everyone.

Clean rooms, pretty good breakfast, but I was really impressed with the service. One of the cleaners took the time to chat with my kids and was very nice and even gave some recommendations for where to take them.

The location is great because it's right in the middle of town and doesn't take much to travel anywhere! We have a nice two room suite which works great for having kids with us! The staff has been wonderful! We have really enjoyed our experience here and will definitely be coming back again!

I have stayed here before and was happy. What a difference a year makes. I could not find my confirmation of my reservation, so I called the hotel and was told that they don't send them. I asked them to check that I did in fact have a hotel room during the quilt show and they said I did not have one. So I booked a room. When I got to Shipshewana, I had two rooms. My friends were in another room. I had a tepid shower the first day, they had a cold shower. Neither of our rooms was fully cleaned that day — my coffeemaker still had coffee and a dirty filter, by bed was only made as far as I had made it and in my friends' room, it was evident that no vacuuming was done. Second day, I was the one with cold water. When I told Goth girl (I am from Chicago, this is not unusual, just to identify her) that we were having water problems, she shrugged. I told her that this was not a proper response and she said, "What do you expect me to do about it. " For $292 for two nights, I expect a clean room and hot water. Margaret Tomaszek Witry.

Room was very clean and so was the bathroom. Staff was pleasant and accomodating. Breakfast was complete. Nice location in the Amish countryside. Lots of things to do and see close by.

Clean, comfortable beds, Wi-Fi powerful, it has a fridge, coffee maker and microwave. The breakfast is good. Well located. Good quality for the price.

All the homey charm of the Amish country and they let us stay with our dog! Can't beat the service or stay for the price right in the center of Shipshewanna.

Management was excellent and very accommodating in providing an upgraded room when we explained our circumstances surrounding our surprise need to stay in Shipshewana for at least a week with a discounted average night rate less than the per night rate. Rooms are very clean and comfortable with housekeeping providing for our needs each day. Highly recommend this motel if you want/need to stay in Shipshe (as the locals say).

We are currently here now, the rooms are super clean and nice. The best part of the place is Tim at the front desk, he was more than accommodating! we wanted to get off the roads due to all the ice and he let us check in early and was a huge help!

The best Super 8 I've stayed at. Decently priced and hence was surprised by the cleanliness of the room, the full hot breakfast unlike some other Super 8s. Staff was just fantastic and went above and beyond. Super 8 in the rest of the country should learn from this one in Shipshewana.
