I highly recommend this place for couples who are looking to have a relaxing fun get away. My man and I had an amazing weekend away for my Birthday.

We stayed this weekend for two nights to celebrate our 24th anniversary and absolutely loved it! Our cabin was beautiful and cozy. The staff was very friendly and helped make our stay amazing. We loved feeding the ducks and geese from our back deck, the peaceful walk, and we rode bikes for the first time in a REALLY long time and it was sooo fun!
If I had one recommendation to couples planning to stay, I would say bring a throw blanket or two for when you’re relaxing by the fire on the deck or cuddling on the couch. I definitely want to stay again, hopefully the massages and carriage rides will be back by then.

My husband and I were just there this past Labor Day weekend and we had a great time. Staff was very friendly, loved the butler door idea to communicate. Fishing was relaxing with the scenery of nature and wildlife. We had everything we needed for our stay at the cabin but I will make sure to bring mosquito spray next time we come out. Thank you for a nice stay.

I do not recommend anyone to work here! Managers especially Laura treat there employees like garbage. Managers don’t appreciate the amount of effort you put forth when working here. There way of communicating to there employees is just absolutely disgusting.

Such a lovely place. Great getaway! They have wonderful service and the staff is wonderful. We will definitely be coming back!

What an amazing birthday! awesome cabins, I love the butter box how smart was that! they don't bother you with a knock they place the items in the butter box and hit a switch so you know it's in there. The massage chairs won me over and the decorations in the cabin! love they have bikes to ride around on property, fishing (catch and release). Game room BBQ grill fire places inside and outside, duck feed, like yes I'd rate them 100000000 if I could nice staff super friendly the food wasn't so great we ordered but I don't think they make the food it's ordered or something… the chill pill for the jacuzzi is a must add! and they bring you little snacks through the night stores for the fire pit it's amazing.

Our stay was AMAZING! The staff was super friendly and helpful! Hot water was nice and HOT! Didn’t need to worry about anything, everything was provided! Even had little treats that were unexpected! The bed was SUPER comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Very romantic weekend! Cabin was great, in floor hot tub very relaxing, plenty big enough for the two of us. Butler door with service is amazing, we never had to leave. The surprises were enjoyable and delicious. The staff was friendly, helpful, courteous, and professional. This was our second Valentine's Day here. The large amount of snow added to the experience and made it magical. Our walks in the snow so romantic. We will be doing this again ❤

This is a special place! It was exactly what me and my husband needed! We’ve enjoyed every part of our stay. You can tell the owners take great pride in what they do! They’ve thought of literally everything, from having bikes available to ride, s’mores and cheesecake delivered to the room at night to the bath salts and balloon set up in our room to celebrate our anniversary! There are a million little details that they have set up to make our stay special. The property is beautiful! And they are incredibly quick with service! Every time we needed anything, they were right on top of it!

The best word I could use to describe Serenity Springs is "Magical" From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were treated like royalty. The Butler door is such a unique and wonderful part of the cabin. We felt like kids getting excited when the light would come on, meaning some thoughtful treat had been left in our box. The property is breathtaking and full of things to do and see no matter if you want to be active or just take it easy. The staff was so friendly and helpful while still giving us total privacy. They say one day is not enough and that's true. We stayed two days and THAT didn't feel like enough. Before our trip was over we were already planning for another stay. Serenity Springs has thought of everything, from providing food to feed the wildlife to the microwave popcorn you crave for a midnight snack. As someone who is environmentally conscious I also greatly appreciated the recycling bins for the cabin and the fact that all their bath products are cruelty-free. As you can see I could go on and on singing the praises of Serenity Springs. Book a cabin and I guarantee the place will speak for itself.

Serenity Springs is like heaven on Earth. The staff was very friendly and did a wonderful job at providing anything we could possibly want and even some wonderful surprises. The property is gorgeous and full of things to do. The cabins are cozy yet spacious and very clean. I really can't say enough good things about Serenity Springs, go and experience it for yourself, you won't be sorry.

Not enough words to describe how perfect this place is for a second honeymoon, anniversary trip, first honeymoon, romantic getaway… Very competent staff, every need met, beautiful well kept grounds and secluded private cabins that are stocked with everything you might need. Privacy is the name of the game here. Butler doors make it so clean dishes and special treats are delivered without us being disturbed. Decor is somewhat dated but geared toward romance and love. Cabins are pristine, Jacuzzi dazzling and delightful, romantic music piped into the room. Super comfortable mattress with fresh clean sheets, double patio doors overlooking a placid scene. Geese and ducks and swans roam the property. Horse and carriage rides available. Extras available for small fees. Huge assortment of snacks were provided upon our arrival and they had a gluten free option for ten bucks a day extra. Close drive to the beach and delightful tourist attractions like the Old Lighthouse Museum. Above and beyond serenity, highly recommend. Worth every penny. Will return.

My husband and I recently stayed in the Spring Meadows cabin during a road trip from Maryland to Indiana. We loved everything the cabin, property and staff had to offer. The horse driven carriage rides to your cabin sets the tone for your entire relaxing stay. The cabin itself was relaxing, extremely clean, and well furnished. The staff is very attentive upon your arrival and throughout your entire stay… checking to make sure that your comfort and needs are being met. Prior to arriving I had called and asked several questions and added some additional amenities and each time the staff was very accommodating, patient and personable. They were absolutely amazing! Our cabin was just perfect. We enjoyed dinner by candlelight the first night, completely set up by the staff, champagne and chocolate with rose petals surrounding the heart-shaped jacuzzi tub, and baskets of goodies and snacks! The butler door is the best and always had some kind of yummy treats! While we most likely won’t get a chance to travel to Indiana often, we will be returning again in about two years and we already know where we will be staying. But if you are looking for a romantic getaway and a nice place to unwind, relax and rejuvenate then do yourself a favor and book a few nights in one of their cabins. You won’t regret it!

5 star experience from reservation to checkout. This place is amazing and immaculately beautiful. The staff are very friendly and attentive. My cabin was very clean and fresh not to mention heavenly and the amenities were second to none. The staff took the time to make sure we knew where everything was and how it worked. I also loved the butler box room service system as well. The horse and carriage ride was a pleasant surprise too. Serenity Springs is a hidden jem in northwest Indiana. It's nice to have a wonderful getaway location so close to home. No need to travel hundreds of miles and spend money to fly when this place has everything you will need for a romantic excursion. I highly recommend this resort to all and I will definitely be coming back for sure. I suggest staying for at least two days as one is not enough to enjoy all Serenity Springs has to offer.

We had a wonderful mini-honeymoon at Serenity Springs. After all the craziness of the wedding the days before we were looking forward to a little R&R to disconnect from the hustle and bustle and enjoy nature and simply spending quality time with each other. Serenity Springs was just what we needed! They have everything you need right there on the grounds. Food (breakfast, lunch, & dinner), DVDs to borrow, board games, puzzles, bicycles, clubhouses with bumper pool, ping pong, and more! The cabins have surround sound where you can listen to some music while you relax. They have a horse drawn carriage or vans to take you from the office to your cabin and you can schedule rides on other days as well if they are available. There’s no internet, but for people looking to unplug and enjoy nature this is the perfect place to stay.

Staff is friendly and always willing to go out of their way to make the stay a great experience. Awesome catch and release fishing and complimentary treats delivered to your cabin throughout your stay. We definitely will be going back!

Love this place! I would come more often if we lived closer. Friendly staff, clean cabin with everything we needed, plenty of snack options and love those butler door surprises! This place is truly one of a kind.

It was our first time here this past weekend. Did not know what expect, but WOW! We were blown away by the place! From the staff being so out going and helpful, to our room being more then we expected! Very clean, relaxing, romantic. The hospitality here is over the top! Worth every penny spent! If you think the $$ is to high dont! We are already talking about booking again in February!

This place was better than I expect. It was quite and I love the fact there was no phones in the room. They had what they called a bread box and anything you needed you just fill out the sheet flick the switch and someone would process your request without bothering you. A litter pricey but we'll worth it.

We stayed here for our wedding weekend with our dogs and loved it! Staff was accommodating to our vegan lifestyle and left our dogs treats in the butler box! Highly recommend!

Great place for a romantic retreat. The cabins are nice and warm with comfortable beds and chairs for relaxing. The staff was very nice as well. I would mention there is no Wi-Fi here but that's not the point of this place so I don't really hold it against them.

We absolutely love this place! The staff is amazing. You get a horse carriage ride to your cabin. The butler door with treats is great! Fresh eggs in the morning If u request them. Absolutely a beautiful place!

This place is top notch. My boyfriend booked two nights here as a surprise "staycation" and it was so relaxing! The staff is friendly and attentive, but not intrusive. Our cabin was stocked with plenty of drinks, and a variety of snacks were provided at random times throughout the weekend. **Eat the muffins** The cabin was VERY clean and welcoming. We loved the heated floors, reclining loveseat, jetted tub, and comfortable bed. We appreciated the attention to detail in the room. Overall, excellent getaway. We left happy, and will definitely return for another fantastic mini vacation.

Loved my stay there. Ss tries to think of everything. All the snacks were great, the dinner was great and comperable pricing to a steakhouse. I will definitely come back again!

Awesome get away it's quite, secluded and the cabins are very nice. They have lots of things to do on site for free. Highly recommend checking it out for night or two.

We had a great time. Liz was so helpful with showing us how to work everything in the room. All the added surprises was the best. The owner took our picture on the horse and carriage even before we could ask they said would you like us to take a picture for you. I received the best customer service any person could ask for. This was the best birthday ever!

Was supposed to stay there in January and had to unexpectedly leave due to feeling very sick within the first two hours of being there. Have called about ten times in the last month trying to get in touch with the owner Rich about getting a credit to be able to return and he is somehow never available and has not returned my calls… Update: Rich got in touch with me and will be giving my spouse and I some kind of credit to return… he was very nice on the phone and I am glad to have this resolved since it is a beautiful property.

Had the best time ever with my man Dennis this week end here at Serenity Springs celebrating our anniversary of 50 years! Thanks again Serenity Springs for a great time!

This is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of your hectic life. Awesome place to relax and clear your mind so you can enjoy life again! I love it here to the point we make it a once-a-year trip!

We went for our 25 th Anniversary it was amazing all of the added special touches they provide makes this already unique place to stay even more spectacular than any other place in the mid west.

We came here for our anniversary and it was all we hoped for. We love the outdoors but also wanted something romantic. Everyone we dealt with was fantastic and our cabin was perfect. We loved walking as well as bike riding the property and had fun feeding the birds and fishing. My husband caught a great bass. We will be back. This was perfect joy and relaxation!

It's nice but has gotten a bit run down over time. It hasn't changed much in the years aside from that. They need to update the cabins with some more modern amenities.

I'm giving this place 5 stars! My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Enjoyed our horse and carriage ride with Jeff the guider and Izzie the horse. ☺ The entire staff was nice, great hospitality. We're definitely looking forward to going back!

Had a great time during our weekend stay. We were a little disappointed that the carriage was not running, but they explained they suspected a foot injury and wanted the horse to have time to heal so we understood. The deliveries left in the butler box were a nice surprise that added to our enjoyment. All in all it was a very relaxing weekend. There is enough to do on the resort to stay busy for a day or so but with Indiana Dunes and shopping areas being so close we were never bored. We will definitely be returning.

Whomever thought of the butler box is a genius! Great way to respect privacy, all the while making sure that you feel like you're being catered to at all times. All the little surprises and sweet treats were a great addition. The staff was friendly and relatable. Jeff on the carriage ride was funny, friendly and gave us a lot of good info about the place without sounding scripted. We ended up just ordering pizza, because what could go wrong with pizza, but I think next time we'll do the candlelit dinner. I'd recommend this place to any couple. We've been to the Sybaris as well and this is better in every way. Their added touches do not go unnoticed. Only suggestion I'd make is to add bug spray or a citronella candle to their decks cause those mosquitos suck!

Serenity springs is a amazing place to get away and relax. It is clean, well taken care of, and the staff is very friendly. I love the cabins. We fish, visit the club house, and bike when we come. Been four times and counting.

My husband and I stayed at Serenity Springs one night (6/10/17) for our honeymoon. It was difficult to find as the sign is set back and doesn't draw a lot of attention. We drove past it a few times and our GPS took us in circles until finally one of us noticed the sign and the drive. The employees were all very nice and helpful. We stayed in Jewell cabin, we were a little disappointed at first because when it was booked we were told we would have a heart shaped hot tub and it was not. The cabin was very clean and romantic. Though unfortunately the mood lighting above the wall on one side didn't work. There was a personalized card and a balloon fitting for the event in the room when we got there. The bed was comfortable and we very much enjoyed the hot tub. Your temperature controls are in the room and easy to use. It was nice to sit on the back deck and relax next to the fire, the fireplace inside was also something we really enjoyed. We do wish however there were options for snacks and breakfast, but were surprised at how many snack deliveries we received! The butler box is an excellent touch that let us enjoy our night together uninterrupted. At checkout we forgot to ask about a referral program they had but called later on, they never got back to us unfortunately. We have been thinking about possibly going back this winter or next. We only stayed one night but now we know it's somewhere you want to stay two or three nights.

We stayed and got the 2 night ultimate escape, for our 20th Anniversary. Was worried about the price, but once got there it was well worth it. Cabins and staff was amazing. Only left once to run down to meat market to get steaks for dinner one night. Everything has been thought of. Great place to get away and enjoy your loved one. Did not want to leave and will definitely go back!

Our stay was amazing. My boyfriend and I were able to spend some much needed quality time! There was some miscommunication with our cabin but they immediately resolved the issue. They were kind, friendly and accommodating. It's not easy to make some people happy but you all did an amazing job making us happy! Thank you for the stay and we will be back! To those who are reading the negative reviews, look at how many positive ones there are! You will always find someone e that wants to complain! Serenity Springs is awesome!

I would've gave this place five stars but I did not get my horse and carriage ride. That was one of the main selling features for me. When we arrived they said the horse was sick. I felt like someone should be called to say that so my heart woulf not have been set on taking that ride.

This was a great place for a romantic getaway! It was within driving distance from Indy and there was plenty to do one we got there — both on site and in Michigan City, which is only a few minutes away. The cabins are very nice and the butler for made for nice surprises throughout the day. We definitely recommend Serenity Springs!

This place is AWESOME. Never a reason to leave, just relax. And if you get bored and feel like going somewhere cool for lunch/dinner, Chicago is only 80 mins away.

The staff is very friendly and always there when you need them. I went there on my honeymoon and stayed two nights May 6-7. Very romantic! The cabin was clean and well maintained. Hassle free check in and checkout. Anything we needed just write a note, flip a switch, and they're there within 15 mins! They leave everything in a little doorway. The staff left us alone to enjoy our romantic honeymoon together. They even left little romantic surprises randomly for us! Fresh eggs every morning per request! Would definitely recommend for couple's get away!
