This place needs remodeled. My room was hot, only a fan that didn't work. We stayed 2 nights. I complain twice to the staff. We had to open our door for air. Rediculous. It felt like we slept outside. The reason for the stay was a church convocation you would think they would cater to a big group needs. That was asking too much. They need to retrain the check in staff. That place made our first visit to Indiana look bad. Will not recommended anybody. Health department needs to inspect the rooms. The good things our room was on the first floor where the services were held and we didn't have to take the elevators. People take these reviews and consider them. Room was clean.

The regular times shuttle picks up at the quarters. They will also accommodate larger groups with their several other shuttles they have. The front lobby welcomes you immediately along with the friendly front staff. The hotel includes a 24hr Starbucks snack and coffee shop along with an in house restaurant that has a diverse menu. Affordable and accommodating, the resturaunt includes pool, darts and a few other amenities that will help you forget that 4 hour flight you've just taken. The rooms are clean, the beds are soft and the hotel has the ability for very large events. The area it is located in does not look inviting but the shuttle will drive you within a reasonable area. Truthfully, the hotel is self contained. If you have an event it really does offer the chance to have it all in one place.

Paid considerably more to stay at this hotel for a nice experience prior to flying out for vacation. The bathroom in the room was pitiful. The toilet handle was broken, the shower head piping was exposed, and the tub floor was cracked and appeared to be painted over (flaking away), by a child. I couldn’t believe how much we paid to stay at this place for how crummy the bathroom in the room was. Housekeeping obviously cleans room prior to guest arrival so how does a broken toilet handle get past the staff who cleaned the toilet. Guessing the toilet wasn’t cleaned. How does exposed shower head piping get past housekeeping staff? Why would a hotel charging $154 per night have a tub that is so nasty looking that you wouldn’t sit a child in it to bathe? Save your money and stay elsewhere. This place isn’t worth the money. Also, to answer the inevitable we didn’t complain as our vehicle was going to be parked there a week and we didn’t want any trouble so that is why we waited til we got back to speak up.

The Hotel hosted the Indiana Marshal's Conference. This was the second year the Conference was held here. So far it has been an amazing stay. Clean rooms and everything is right there under one roof. Easy check in and check out.

I would have given a 5 star review because I absolutely loved my room. It was clean, beautiful decor, and check in staff were friendly. Plus it is a great place to hold meetings in the lobby. But… the manager that showed me the ballroom was absolutely horrendous to me. She was extremely rude, unprofessional, and could not answer the questions about the space. She had a horrible attitude which is such a shame because I loved the actual rooms there and would have sold out their hotel had I booked my event in their ballroom. Downside to ballroom space is the ceilings are very low. Also they are charging an extremely high rate for their one conference room down the hall.

I work nearby and decided to take advantage of the restaurant. I walked over instead of driving as it was a nice evening and was approached by a “security guard” as I was nearing the main entrance. He demanded to know if I was a guest. I chose to ignore him for the simple fact that it was none of his business. I proceeded to the front desk and asked the clerk about the restaurant when a second “security guard” interrupted my conversation with the clerk and again made demands that were none of his business. I asked him why he was even talking to me and his response was not worth repeating. I’m absolutely shocked that a Wyndham property would treat a potential guest with such rudeness. While I am a Wyndham Rewards member this incident will not preclude me from other properties but this one has absolutely lost any possible business from me, my family, or any of the 5400 employees of my corporation. (At least as far as corporate stays go). Shame on you Bre Delucenay for allowing this behavior to go on on your property.

I've been a guest for 10 days already and they have yet to change my bed sheets… I've asked daily about getting new sheets and they haven't done it yet… housekeeping is absolutely the worst I've ever experienced! I'm glad my job is paying for this trip… I wouldn't spend the money to stay here!

I thought this was supposed to be a nice hotel… What hotel doesn’t have a mini — fridge in the room!? This one. Rooms are very dated and the mattress feels like it’s 30 years old. Sat down on the bed and almost sank in. Not worth the price! Stayed at the Hyatt Place nearby last year and wish we had stayed there again! : (

I checked into this hotel around 8 pm. The room was boiling, and I asked the front desk “if I can change my room” they replied, “sorry sir the hotel is fully booked. ” I said “fine. ” The hotel staff brought me a fan to help me cool down; I turned the lights off. That’s when I felt some bugs crawling on my legs and the wall. I call down to the front desk again, and somehow they had a room available. For anyone else who wants to stay at this hotel, I hope you bring your bug spray.

Arrived at the hotel just after 1 pm and was told they didn’t have our room ready. So proceeded to go to our daughters basketball tournament. Did not get back to the hotel till after 11pm to then get our room. Upon going into our room, our closed door was not working properly and was off the hinge/track. Then in the morning I showered and found myself standing in a foot of water as the tub was not draining. I got out and tried to see if the drain had a stopper in it. It seemed as though the drain was open but draining extremely slow. My daughter then had to shower as she went in the tub, there was still a decent amount of water from when I had showered that she had to stand in. Then it was my husbands turn and with all the dirty water still left in the tub he couldn’t get in the tub so didn’t get to shower. I had called the front desk to let them know and they sent up a maintenance man who said he’d come fix it later or move us to a different room. I said we are leaving in 30 minutes and are not coming back. The front desk said they’d give us. 25% discount which they did BUT it wasn’t 25 percent off our current bill and then he applied taxes on to it. So we didn’t really even get 25 % off. I was really not satisfied with what the manager did at that point but he was not willing to discuss it anymore. We will not be staying at that hotel again. I have pictures too that I would post so that I could show the front desk how much water was in the tub.

We are attending the Indiana state pool tournament here and staying the hotel itself is decently clean but the food and drinks are entirely overpriced and not very good. The staff who are watching the doors are snooty and not very pleasant not to mention that my husband and friend walk in with coffee and a monster drink she says nothing to them. I walk in a couple minutes later and she stops me and makes me poor my soda out. I feel discriminated against.

We were at Wyndham Indy West for a tabletop game convention. We did not stay overnight. However, the facilities were nice and we enjoyed our time there. I especially appreciated the very clean restrooms and the 24-hour Starbucks/canteen, as sales of snacks and beverages brought in by the Con coordinators shut down at 8 p. M. While the Con itself did not. The hotel is way to get to, being just off I-465 South and visible from the freeway.

I'm here for Who's Yer Con. I stayed in a room and ate wings at the Italian restaurant. Great service. Great location. Amazing event. I'll be back every year!

Average hotel. No complimentary breakfast. No fridge or microwave in room like many offer these days. Decent & easy drive to downtown … 7-10 min drive. Rooms are clean, beds comfortable. Could use updated decor … looks a little worn.

Great place for the anime convention. Have been 3 years in a row. Great staff and friendly people. Restrooms are always clean and fully stocked so rooms must be too. Friends have booked rooms and said they are reasonable and clean. Haven't stayed here yet but plan to next year.

I think I would rather stay at a cheaper hotel, which may offer HBO and free breakfast, which this place doesn't. The desk chair was low, and the pillows were too small and hurt my neck when I slept on two. The 10pm to 6am quiet policy could have been enforced better, and the attached restaurant is only so so.

The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, the bathroom was little and the furniture look like it had seen better days. Staff was nice. I could stay again.

I attended the 2018 HASTI Conference at Wyndham Indianapolis West. The facilities were very clean and they had staff checking throughout the day. The food was delicious, although it seemed a few tables were almost forgotten when everyone ate in the large hall. All rooms were comfortable and clean as well. The building was easy to locate and signs on the lot helped distinguish hotel parking from conference parking. Overall, my visit was very nice and I would recommend HASTI be held there in the future.

Do you enjoy being told "no, we don't have that here"? Look no further then. Outside of the front desk, the service isn't much to want for. There are no dining options nearby apart from the hotels own expensive restaurant, the tv's do not have an HDMI port that allows one to watch or play their own entertainment, employees do not appear to care for your needs, and for the love of god do not get a room by the service elevator as you will not be doing much sleeping. This is a good place if all you need is a bed, but there are cheaper options if that is what you are looking for. I do not recommend this place if you are looking to get your money's worth.

Myself and two of my children attended the Wyndham for a dance convention. The rooms were newly remodeled and very nice. The beds were especially comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful with any of our needs. Two of the lights in our room has burned out bulbs causing the room to be very dark. I called the front desk and they had new bulbs installed within 20 minutes. The hotel was easy to get around but spacious for the dance convention. It was nice that the convention area was in a separate area from the guest rooms. This way the loud music would not disturb other guests staying at the hotel. My only complaint was regarding food. There is only one restaurant and the service was really slow. I don't think they were prepared for such a big dance convention. There are not very many options for food outside of the hotel because it's by the airport and not in a commerical area. Check in and check out were very easy processes.

Very clean and comfortable Hotel but you notice that it is already old and needs a lot of repair and remodel. Good price but could better enough.

Friendly staff, ample parking, comfy beds. However, the rooms are rather dated (our TV didn't work, for example), and can be completely missed if you're not looking for it on the road. The coffee place in the lobby was great! The restaurant had good food, but for the quality we received, I felt we paid a bit too much for flatbread pizza. However, the friendliness of the staff and decent overall price makes this a comfortable stay for conventions and meetings.

Comfy bed. Decent sized room. Got a random wakeup call bit I attribute that to being nothing more than an accident. Fridge is available. Never got a chance to see if they had microwaves readily available But I can assume that they do. Overall I would say this stay would definitely be a good one for the money.

There's an event going on this weekend at this hotel. I got to say that the staff is extremely rude to their guest. There's an employee at the door yelling at people who are walking out to take a phone call on their cell phone or go out for a smoke. Once she gets their attention she very rudely tells them to either check in their drinks on a random desk or dump them as they will not be allowed back in the building. (The hotel is selling sodas and water) all though she knows you bought the drink from them she states it won't be allowed back in. She made a man chug his soda before allowing him to step any further. This to me is not a way to treat guest who are in the facility. It's just incredible how rude this employee is and how the hotel allows it. Never have I seen adults be treated like such children. Just ridiculous. Makes me wonder if all Wyndham hotels treat guest this way.

I didn't stay at the hotel, just attended a conference there. The interior is much nicer than the exterior. It seemed to be well staffed and the conference rooms were adequate. The lounge area was quite nice.

This hotel is great! Friendly service and they have a snack place open all the time. It is about 15-20 minutes downtown for a busy event like Garth Brooks which is the first time we have stayed here. Quality bedding and home feel to the room. Has had some updates. The wings are a bit long but they have a few exit doors and parking near those entrances as well. Will definitely be back here. It was worth the Money! Very pleased! Clean and neat and comfy! One of the best places we've stayed this year.

I arrived at this hotel, located conveniently off the highway, halfway through a long drive home. I arrived at about 2 a. M. And planned to check out and finish my drive after I got a little rest. Even though I had been here less than 6 hours, and will be checking out today, house keeping knocks on my door and Wakes me up at 8 a. M. Now, with less than an hour until my alarm was to go off, I am awake and very very upset. I was really looking forward to getting some sleep and hapily driving home. The front desk did not apologize and gave me attitude in the explanation of the horrible service-plan that house keeping works when they work. I hope to advise someone in upper management on how to better serve all their customers, like those traveling on the highway they are located next to, and change the policy where housekeeping cleans the room on the day of checkout, after guests have checked out.

I stayed at the Wyndham overnight to be close to the airport for a trip the next day. The room was clean and large but there wasn't a fridge in the room or microwave. The bed was very comfortable but the pillows were smaller than a twin bed pillow on a king size bed. Way too small and very unsupportive. We also ate at the bar pub. The flat bread pizza was actual an oval frozen pizza. Very bland. The breakfast buffet was just like any other hotel breakfast but it cost $10 a person instead of being free. I found out on the way to the airport, there was a waffle house on the way. I wish I would have gone there instead. If I need a place to stay overnight and I have my own pillow, I would stay there again, but I will not eat my meals there.

Nice, open decor and great conference spaces. Rooms are nice and pretty quite. The front desk and in-house restaurant both seem understaffed, but the staff they have are friendly.

Great hotel, great staff, but nothing to do in the immediate vicinity. If you have a car then you should be fine. If you don't, you either will have to take an Uber to do something fun or camp out in your room.

I stayed at the hotel near the airport during a convention weekend. In June 2017. I love I t… It was clean, TV worked great, shower was very clean, a few extras were offered. Drinks were fixed perfectly. There was a lot going on so the bar area was extremely crowded; but the bartender done an amazing job serving everyone. Drinks and food for room service was wonderful also; full size drinks were offered at a great price. For all you Starbucks fans there is one with energy drinks, other foods offered. A restaurant for dining great food, cooked perfectly, fresh salad bar, vegetables, cooked meats,, and you can get bar drinks here also. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. As long as you can handle the planes flying over it's a great hotel to stay in.

Great hotel for a fabulous price. Rooms are newly renovated and kept very clean. The meeting space is large and easy to access. Lots of free parking. The Starbucks in the lobby is a nice touch. The restaurant and bar are amazing and not overpriced.

Hotel was clean and it's pet friendly which was a huge plus. Service was courteous if not effusively friendly. Location was convenient to airport but not incredibly convenient to downtown.

Attended a conference at this location. It was surprisingly large with many varying sized conference rooms. It took a moment to locate the room I needed. The restrooms were clean as was the other areas but some things were in disrepair. For example obvious water spots on the ceiling from roof leaks and fluorescent lighting that flickered on and off the whole time during presentations. Bummer. The food served, simple cold sandwiches, salad and pasta was very good though. Dessert was delicious!

I stayed here for one night in a 2 bed room. The room was very clean, and I really liked the comforter on the bed, which was much thicker and fluffier than many hotels. The staff was helpful and made checking in and out simple. I would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed a fun day here for the Day Of The Dead convention. The hotel is aesthetically pleasing with a nice modern style. There is a classy looking dining area for a hotel. The staff was abundant and very helpful. The bathrooms were clean and well kept snd stylish. It was easy to navigate even with hundreds of people roaming about. They did a great job hosting a pretty large convention. Thank you to the Wyndham for a wonderful day!

The hotel could use some updating. It seems like it was built in the 70's, old and musty. The A/C wouldn't turn on only heat and the hot water wasn't very hot. Very nice people. Overall and ok stay.

Attended Who's Yer Con, a free gaming convention, but did not stay at the hotel. Meeting rooms were clean, hotel staff were polite. My one issue was that the air conditioning was running in several rooms and the hallways, despite near-freezing temperatures outside. We attended three two-hour sessions of a tournament in the same room that was like playing in a refrigerator. It's a little much when you attend an indoor event and wonder if you happened to have your gloves in the car and could go get them.

Rooms are nice and clean. Very friendly hotel staff. Food from the restaurant is really good, but service was a little slow (45 minutes to get our food). The General Manager was very involved and kept things moving, so many kudos to her. Great place for a convention.

This location hosted the Who's Yer Con gaming convention, with probably a couple thousand guests over a three day period, and two days into the event so far I'm impressed with the cleanliness and neatness of the facilities, and the friendliness and professionalism of the staff.

A formerly good hotel, now struggling after the airport moved to a new location. Restaurant serves mediocre food at extravagant prices. The staff and management don't seem to have experience accommodating conventions. They didn't have rooms reserved for early arrivees; people had to keep their stuff with them at the early events the first day. Wi-Fi doesn't work in all the rooms, so that's a gamble of you need that for work. Then the fire alarm went off, and continued to buzz off and on all night. Fire department never came to investigate. I plan to ask for at least a partial refund after this.

Straight forward and simple hotel. Stayed just one night and caught an early flight in the morning. About ten minutes from the airport without traffic. Room was nice a spacious and ammeneties quite new. Comfy bed and simple check in and check out.

I work for anime-crossroads an event held at Wyndham west indianapolis. The rooms and service have been great their staff is willing to go above and beyond to help meet our needs as a convention.

I am very displeased with the level of service that I received. When I called to make an adjustment to my reservation weeks ahead of time, I was rushed through the process so the person at the front desk could "get back to the switchboard. " Despite this frantic tone I managed to verify that the details of my stay were correct (1 room for 2 nights). She rushed in telling me "yes" and hung up. Later, when I checked in, she had me booked for 2 rooms, both for the same night. After being prompted multiple times to sign an incorrect receipt (again being rushed), we finally got that detail worked out. I was told to provide a credit card for incidentals. I asked if this card would be charged for the room (as opposed to the university card used to make the reservation) and was told no, it won't be charged. Now I have a charge for the full amount on my credit card statement and I have to jump through hoops to get that corrected. Not sure if this is a conference = guaranteed business and resting on laurels.

I went to WIW for a leadership conference, and the hotel was great. A friend of mine forgot his suitcase, and the front desk gave him toiletries free of charge. The rooms were clean and well furnished. The conference rooms were great and the catering was tasty. The projector setup looked a little improvised, but was very functional, and the sound system was excellent. The WIW was a great venue for having a conference.

I'm not sure if the terrible service was because we booked through a third party site but I have never been treated more poorly at a hotel. I called early in the day to let them know we would be arriving after 1 am, that we would need their shuttle to pick us up at the airport and to tell them we had a 2 year old and would need a pack n play. We were told to call after we landed for the shuttle and so we made our journey, then called again. We were told to go to the 'lowest level of the parking garage and wait'. Well since we are not natives we were a little confused, there are quite a few levels/zones/etc, then had to call two more times for more specific directions. Finally we were told the specific level and for the first time a 'zone' to wait in. Each time we asked if a pack n play could be ready for us to take to our room when we got there since it was after 2 am. Both times we were flatly told to ask when we got to the hotel. At 2:30 am we finally got to the hotel, more than a little stressed and exhausted. The front desk clerk acted extremely inconvenienced by our presence and then the pack n play took 30 minutes to get to the room. The only person who exhibited any sense of good customer service was the poor woman who apologized when she finally showed up with the pack n play.

Room smells like smoke. Room dirty. Found a empty coke can behind night stand.

Very bad experience with this hotel. Stayed here for a conference and the staff is rude and unattentive. They tried charging another person's room service to my room and I found it on my bill at check-out. When I went to the counter they said they would talk to management. Then 20 minutes later they came back and said they'd take it off and printed me a new bill. They then proceeded to charge my credit card for this charge without telling me. I called and talked to two different people over 2 weeks and they kept telling me they would look into it and call back. Neither accounting nor management ever called me back so I had to dispute with Visa. Now they are showing the other person's signature as proof to charge my card! Outrageous! So fed up with this scamming hotel.

I saw them go out there way to to help guest at 3 at a time. Food is excellent. Service is up standing. And the most generous employees. Can't wait to come back.

The room was clean, the bed was extremely comfortable. I found the walls were well-made because you could not hear the sounds of the nearby airport. It was quiet. The air temperature was easily controlled as well. My only negative comment was that the swimming pool was under construction. The bath tub was deep and the shower head was nice. I would go there again. It may of helped to know about the swimming pool being out of order before I got there.

Anime crossroads in feb 20-22.

Stayed here for a conference at the hotel. It's right by the airport but I didn't hear the planes and slept like a rock! Bed was very comfortable. My only complaint is that there are no alternative doors to get into the hotel. Ultimately had to park pretty far away and had a long walk to my room within the hotel. All in all, friendly staff and reasonably priced.

Very nice accommodating, when my travel company messed up they stepped in and took control.

I stayed at the Wyndham Indianapolis Airport location on Saturday 05/17/2014. I arrived at the hotel around 9:00 in the morning because I was there for an expo that was taking place at the hotel that day. At 5:00, I snuck away from the event I was attending to check into my room. (Room 234) Everything so far was great. At 11:30 that evening, my wife asked me get something out of our car. I went downstairs and went outside. As I was walking to the car, I was approached by a security guard who informed me that my car was parked in a “Corvette Only Parking Zone. ” I was confused by this because I had never heard of such a thing, but the guard insisted that I move my car despite the fact that my car had been parked there for over 14 hours, there were several other vehicles that were not Corvettes parked in this area, and the fact that there were several empty parking spots in this “Corvette Only Parking Zone. ” He insisted there was a sign posted stating this particular area of the parking lot was reserved for Corvettes. However, I never saw a sign, and apparently several others did not either. If it was posted, it was not posted very well or in plain sight. I moved my vehicle and complied with the guard. I walked back into the hotel lobby and explained my frustration to the overnight manager.

The room is OK, but Wi-Fi is extremely slo-o-o-o-o-o-w. The quality of food in the hotel restaurant (Nicolino's) is considerably below average. I had partially undercooked potato and partially burnt steak with a glass of mediocre wine for $45, tips not included. The service was not very good as well. Avoid it.
