Stayed at Indianapolis-east. Room had strong unpleasant odor and looked shabby. Ice machine broken, dust on tables. Bath toilet seat broken. Room looked neglected and sad. Travellers were friendlier than hotel staff. Breakfast was lukewarm and drinks warm. Close down or have major renovation. Train staff.

Hotel is older and in need of a remodel. The area it's in is not good. If you're traveling for work around the area I would not suggest staying anywhere near here. Rooms are decent, but don't seem the cleanest. Bathrooms are showing hard signs of use and match the rooms. Lobby is nice and newer, breakfast is mediocre and the staff are nice and helpful. Overall I would not spend the money to stay here.

Rooms deserving of updates (larger TV, better shower curtain bar). Internet was down during my stay; bummer, but I understand that could happen just about anywhere.

Everything was fairly clean. Not exactly what I'm used to when staying at a hotel, but not bad by any means. The one or two employees I interacted with were nice and friendly.

We had a spacious room but it smelled a but weird… Love the breakfast though! They have some really exellent staff that we conversations with and some were just rude.

Place is a mess! Couldn't get into my room until 530 PM because none of the rooms were clean. Finally got checked in step off the elevator to find dirty linens all over the hallway and had to walk around the piles to get to my room. Cleaning lady was running around very fast and obviously cutting corners and not properly cleaning rooms. First impression of room was good but nope think again bathroom was nasty. Rust stains in the tub and a hole with some lousy patch job that fell off as soon as I turned the shower on. Shower curtain has stains all over it. TV is slow as ever half the channels don't show up. As a ihg platinum rewards member and staying at other chains this is by far the worst place I've been to yet. Zero star rating from me won't be back.

Hotel could use updating. Front desk was busy at check in, no offer of points or amenity. The pool has a large high ceiling which made the hallway the second floor very humid. My room was a corner room which was okay. All the bed mattresses were kind of old but they were still clean. The bathroom was extremely tiny. The ceiling above the shower look like it had some mold or mildew probably from a leaking tub above. Some of the drywall had some water damage also in the suite. My room also did not have any bath towels. There are two outlets connected to the lamp by the bed to plug your phone in. The TV came in crystal clear and the couch and desk looked clean. While the bed sheets are clean the skirt on the bed was a little dated it has some stains. With the amount of Holiday Inns in the Indianapolis area I don't think I would return to this one unless it was renovated.

The beds we're REALLY saggy in the middle and uncomfortable. 2 people rolled to the middle of the bed. The room size was big but they only had 2 towels for 5 people and the pull out couch stuff was not in the room when we asked for it to be ready for our really late arrival. We had to go to the front desk twice to get everything we needed.

The Wi-Fi did not work for the entire night. I had important business to attend to and was unable to do to the Wi-Fi not working.

Found bed bugs in 3 separate rooms, three different floors. Grossed out being there. Would never recommend goin there. Wish 0 stars was an option. Lady at desk was a b*tch and was not concerned about the problem. Sounds like it’s happened a time or two.

Ihg member and book holiday inn express hotels all across the Midwest for my employees. Only book with holiday inn express but this location wouldn't allow me to check in even tho I had reservations online. They very rudely explained that no locals are allowed to check in. So even tho I book dozens of rooms for multiple nights, all across Indiana and Ohio, I couldn't keep my reservations in my own city for my technician coming into town. Ridiculous!

Arrived very late, but they were expecting me. Check in was a little slow/clumsy. But a clean, nice room was waiting for me. Would stay here again.

Very clean try to get a room opposite of the highway but for the price it's a great deal!

I had a mixed experience. The venue is in great shape and it looks like it had a recent upgrade, carpets, TV, doors, etc. Also, people that work there was great, really nice and helpful. The problem was that they didn't have clean towles at the pool and the biggest issue for me was they didn't have Wi-Fi. All issues that I am sure they will fix.

Very warm and pleasant staff. I'm impressed by how much I felt like I was at home. Complimentary breakfasts a plus (many varities to choose from) Would I stay again? YEs.

Great staff. Very nice layout on the room. Shower was a bit cold from the bitter cold temps outside. Talked to the lady at the front desk and they were already in process of turning up the water heaters and apologized for the inconvenience.

Hotel was generally nice on the surface, but the internet service only works about 5-10 minutes at a time, as reported by myself and the line of people complaining daily. As well as the water pressure in the shower was very poor, with little hot water. Spent 4 nights there talking cold showers. It was reported daily and "fixed" according to the staff but there was no change. Not the experience at all that you would expect from an ihg property. Not that it matters but I'm also a spire member having stayed over 80 nights at Holiday inn Express this year alone.

This was a great Holiday Inn Express to stay at. The staff was great, friendly, attentive, and extremely helpful. They were on their A game all the time. The room was a joy to stay in. It was clean, it was LARGE, and it had a kitchenette. Other than the tub the bathroom was clean and it had a large jetted tub. The only downside was that the jetted tub wasn't as clean as it should have been because there was hair in the suction strainer and that turned me away from using it, had I not seen the hair I may have used it. This hotel was great and I highly recommend it.

Really nice room. Staff is very helpful. Debbie at check-in is fantastic! Even recommended great dining. Perfect for business travel.

The rooms are nice size but the beds are small. Being close to 465 and 70 is a blessing and a curse, great for access but at times the noise gets annoying. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and taken care of although limited in choices.

Very clean. Staff is awesome. Breakfast is good. Room is awesome. Outlets on lamps don't work. Lights on timers. Noisy a/c. We were on 5th floor. Nice pool. Didn't try exercise room.

Very clean room & comfortable bed! The staff were super friendly (the front desk manager is so nice! ), and there were no issues with my stay. Very nice rooms — especially for the price!

Wifi nearly nonexistent, manager and housekeeping didn't show up the day we were there, leaving numerous other guests without a room for hours. Employees are great but the management is poor.

Decent rooms, typical holiday inn which, is not a bad thing. They’ve got a standard and this one meets it. Only problem that’s consistent no matter what room I’ve had (low floor, near middle or far ends or higher floor), the Wi-Fi signal is weak which causes it to be really slow. I get that it’s free and it won’t be like home but, it’s nearly useless as it currently stands.

First time I have ever stayed in a room where the pictures on the website actually look like the real thing … It was awesome … Very nice room, people from the front desk to the hospitality staff were amazing … Awesome experience and I would definitely tell family and friends about this place…

Good clean hotel, courteous staff. Would stay here again if work brings me out here. Update: Called needing a copy of my receipt and my reservation was remembered from several weeks ago, proof that the staff here truly pays attention to who comes and goes, awesome!

This place is clean and comfortable. Easy access to all points of interest for the Indianapolis, IN, area. The Wi-Fi is not the best quality and in my room, it drops out frequently and I have to sign in all over again. Overall, though, no complaints. I slept well and felt rested the next day.

The room was clean, the pillows were soft, bed was not to bad shower was not bad either. The breakfast was good and the pool was nice. Over all a good stay at a good price.

Fantastic rooms. Had a separate sitting area with a couch, a breakfast nook with 2 barstools, and a desk and desk chair. Great space and basic bathroom. Mattresses need to be updated… it was hard. But, everything was clean, well taken take of and looked nice. Check in and out was pleasant. Would recommend for any groups. Easy in/out access for downtown events. Nice neighborhood adjacent to hwy 70.

Hotel staff was not very helpful or friendly. Did not clean rooms or make beds. Only dropped off towels and empty trash. AC did not work very well, beds small, pool had so much chlorine you could not swim, treadmill broke, stationary bike broke, the list goes on and on. Not a great part of town either. I would look for a better hotel. Not worth $140 a night after taxes and fees.

I stayed a week for training. From what I had heard originally, I admit, I was skeptical about my stay here. But I can say without a doubt, all my fears have been set aside! Our rooms were Clean and comfortable, the gym and pool were (small but) great for being away from home, the free breakfast was delicious ans well stocked every day, and the Wi-Fi even worked perfectly! I want to make special mention about the staff — they were absolutely amazing! The most courteous and happy people I have ever met on my travels (and I've been everywhere). They did such a good job it even put all the Patrons in a good mood too! Made a really happy comfortable feel, where I felt safe, relaxed, and very very pleased with my experience. I will stay here again and I recommend you do too.

Wifi didn't work at all for three days. Woke up after first night with ants crawling on me in our room. They moved us to a different room, but that room smelled like wet moldy old carpet.

Stayed there last week they all were so nice and helpful to my mother and baby girl and I we had to be out of the hotel for Dr's appt the whole time we was there and didn't get back tell breakfast was over and just started to be put up and there was afew morning's were we didn't get up early to be able to eat before we left and when we go back on the days we didn't get to have breakfast on those few days a nice sweet lady named moma Teresa gave my 18th month old lil girl a few things of milk and fruit loops and gave my mom and I some milk and sweet rolls and yogurt the room was every nice and it was a handicap room my mom can get around in her wheelchair perfectly and the bathroom was handicap-accessible she didn't even need my help so I made our stay really nice the beds were comfortable the pillows was nice and soft and so was the blankets the sheets was clean and so was the blankets and pillow cases and pillows Sarah heater and air conditioner worked really nice the pool was small 3 foot to 5 foot didn't get a chance to go swimming would have been nice though if I could have with my little girl but if you have kids that are young the pool is just the right size because you don't want anything too deep we got help bringing in our luggage and taking it out was even offered to help pack the luggage back into my car but I like doing it a certain way so I turned them down but it was offered to me I would definitely stay back there if I'm ever in this area again they were

Are all the King rooms suites? Didn't recall reserving a suite, but our room definitely had a couch and a little side area with counter, mini fridge, microwave, short bar-type counter with stools facing the TV, and a good amount of space. Soft fluffy pillows, if you are into that. Bed mattress was a spring mattress and seemed a bit stiff to me. I've gotten spoiled by foam, so it's hard for me to say if the mattress was not great for springs or if it was a great spring mattress and I'm just not used to it anymore. Breakfast selection was good… what I call "continental plus". Pancake maker machine, eggs, bacon, sausage patties, biscuits, cereal (no Cheerios this morning), instant oatmeal, bagels, cinnamon rolls, mini muffins. All (that I had) tasted decent, not fantastic, but definitely not bad either… probably as expected. Good coffee.

Hotel is a quick cab or uber ride away from downtown, we were in town for big ten championship so it was a busy weekend but one night when we got back there was no parking spots available, front desk showed us where we could park for the night and it was no big deal. Breakfast was good and had no problems with service. Overall pretty affordable option.

Spent a week there for a softball tournament. Service was top notch. Bed comfortable. Clean. Free breakfast more than adequate. Only drawback was that the room air conditioner struggled to keep the room cool during the sweltering afternoon heat.

Stayed 1 night for a youth sports event nearby. King room with pull out couch. The room was beyond our expectations! Very clean, spacious, up to date decor & linens and kid friendly! The staff were so helpful from check in (part of a group) to check out. Kids loved the indoor pool, although it's somewhat smaller than what the picture online leads you to believe. Breakfast was yummy and started early enough that we could be out the door by 7am. Overall… fantastic stay without busting the budget! Will definitely be booking early enough next year again to hold our room!
