The fan in the bathroom is very noisy. Was woke up this morning by the maid talking very loudly on her phone. I'm also disappointed because I didn't know I could use my AARP card until I arrived and was told they couldn't changed the reservation. Being disabled and trying to watch my budget it would of helped greatly not paying so much.

The room was clean and well maintained. My one complaint is that there was not a remote for the TV but I was too tired to watch TV anyways.

Recently started to remodel can't wait to see it done.

Nice front desk person, but the first room they put us in had an odor I couldn't handle, she tried giving me 2 other rooms, the 2nd one had the same odor and the key card wouldn't work in the 3rd. I wasn't about to try a fourth.

Lady on morning desk rude. Water doesnt get real hot. Had to use a wash cloth in bottom of tub to take a bath. They had to check in other rooms to give us more than 2 towels and a Do Not Disturb sign. Don't stay here.

Very nice, comfortable. Staff was great.

Terrible little East Indian man owns this dump. The very large woman at the front desk was just awful. Traveling from the East coast you lose an hour each time zone so I call the front desk when I woke up around 10:40 and she was just so nice and gives me a whopping extra 30 mins to shower shave and get my retired and also decorated military K-9 unit packed up in to my police Interceptor. Then at 11:30 on the dot the tiny little East Indian man if you want to call it that comes down while I am loading my car and starts hastling me in front of my k9 who wanted to chew him for a toy apparently dogs just have that 6th Sense because she loves everybody. I put my k9 in my car and he stands there while I am loading and watched me. Then when I am done goes immediately in and checks the place out apparently to make sure I did not damage anything as I am a 50 year old man with a military service k9. Lucky for me I always take photos before I leave just for little people like him trying to make any buck he can. Do not stay at this econolodge. GO TO THE BEST WESTERN 2 DOORS DOWN IF YOU WANT A good night's rest and some decent hospitality. Just awful awful people at this place. They will also be reviewed on yelp, travelocity, and other 3rd party sites as well.

It is a quiet place and the rooms are clean. The only thing that was an issue the first night was that a couple of kids tried to steal a vehicle.

I was very upset that the Wi-Fi would not work and when I called the office numerous times they said the only thing they could do was reset the router also when I checked in they gave me a room that was filthy and had cat litter all over the floor and smelled bad so had to switch rooms and on the last conversation I had with office about the Wi-Fi which was 10 pm at night they suggested to come and get a refund and go to another motel will not stay there again.

Located in a very nice spot off the toll road, very comfortable rooms, nice quiet environment, ideal conditions, concierge breakfast is good, nice channel selection.

It's great for one night but there's not really anything to do there you're just stuck. And the beds are not that comfortable.

Nice place to stay for a day. Bathroom tile was broke but that's just me being picky. They could use new comforters for bed old ones had burn markes on them.

The room was big, had a california king size bed, loveseat, iron and ironing board, small fridge, and a single cup coffeemaker. Located in elkhart Indiana.

The room was exactly as described. There was an iron with ironing board, a coffee maker, and a mini frig. The front desk clerks were friendly and helpful.

Good price but no micro wave, stayed two nights and they didn't change the sheet, take out the trash and said I had to pay more for my service dog which they also said they didn't know about till I showed them in writing I had put it on my room request. That started a full story how bad the service I made the reservation is by them. The owner proceeded to state that her staff kept making mistakes and was not doing their job, guess she didn't know how to train them in the first place or ever knew never to publicly berate her staff in front of customers. I will not stay here again.

I'm pretty sure someone got drunk and mistook the AC for a urinal. Had to turn that off. The bathroom door popped right open despite being locked Not sure if that was blood on the comforter (Bates Motel? ) Or maybe a little wine from whoever peed in the AC unit. Toilet had a slow leak that left it filling the tank every few minutes, all night long… Finally shut off the water to the toilet around 1or 2 am. Then the neighbor got a booty call from one of the other guests around 3 am, only she couldn't remember his room number so she just walked around yelling for him. The doors don't do much to insulate from outside noise.

We stayed there for 1 night in July 2017. The receptionist was helpful and she gave us a king size non smoking room. The room is fine but need to change the old green carpet with iron burn mark.

The rooms are huge. Probably the largest room I've seen in a motel class establishment. We had a king bed and it was a true king, not a queen size king that a lot of lower end hotels call a king. Room was very quiet, although the air conditioner and fridge were a little on the loud side. However there were no loud guests or loud cars/trucks outside and the door was very heavy — I couldn't hear my wife calling from just outside the room. Shower was hot and the water was hot quickly. Wi-Fi worked well. There were accessible outlets, although not enough were available. On the downside, the hotel could use a bit of refurbishment — it just looks kind of tired. However, this is one of the lowest prices hotels in the Elkhart/South Bend area and I thought it was a great value.

Its your basic hotel on a budget. Exactly what I expected. All the staff was very nice. The room was clean. Would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at this lodge, I had no problems. I don't know what every one is complaining about.

The staff working there are totally incapable of doing normal front desk hotel staff duties. When you call any other hotel front desk and ask for a reprint of a folio or reprint receipt because you lost yours or need an additional copy they can look it up based on your date of stay, by your name, or by a confirmation number. This hotel employs people that aren't able to do that and their manager is never there to help them. I have tried calling for a reprint receipt at least 5 times in the last two weeks and none of the employees that have answered the phone have been able to help me and not once was the manager there. The best part, the manager doesn't return phone calls either. Don't stay at this hotel!

Wake up call was late. No updated channel listing. Other than that it was okay.

I stayed over at this Econo Lodge at the last minute when I was traveling to spend Thanksgiving with family and was road weary. The surrounding area was an asteroid belt of Apple Bees, Cracker Barrels, and Seven-11s: Just the sort of place you would expect minutes off the highway. Behind the building itself was a pile of rubble – a cardboard fort that looked like it was housing a homeless commune, condom boxes, beer cans, cigarette butts – that made the place look even more hopeless in the dismal light. The bathroom smelled badly of cigarette smoke and blew stale air throughout the room when the overhead fan was on, but I just needed a place to crash. I left early in the morning after poor sleep on the stiff bed and forgot my suitcase. Even though I had made my reservation only for the one night and given the desk clerk my phone number, the manager decided to charge me for a second night without contacting me. When I got home and noticed that I didn’t have the suitcase, I called and asked the manager to please give me a price of sending my belongings back, but she told me she could charge my card, but not give me an estimate. Although the hotel was nearly empty, the staff had my number and knew that I had indicated I was only staying the night, and I had left a tip and comment card, the manager would not waive the regular room fee for the second night.

Very clean kind and courteous desk clerk lots of amenities.

Nice place to stay. They are pet friendly and were willing to accommodate my first floor request. We slept too late to have breakfast but my grandkids enjoyed their stay.

Was very rude to my husband when we checked in. Owner told him he had to park the trailer we had at the front of the property and then gave us a room that was all the way to the back of the property. Room was clean but there was no soap or shampoo. Secured the room with the credit card online but told her he would pay cash in the morning. She asked him for a credit card for incidentals and he gave her a different card. That card also got charged. So for 1 room for 1 night we have been charged 3 times. Called her and she tells us she has no record of any credit cards being charged. Now we have to fight with them to get these charges taken off. Stay as far away from this place as you can!

Smells like cigarette smoke bad good thing I brought air freshener no microwave here. Other then that. The bed was cozy clean otherwise.

Very basic hotel. Doesn't look like it has been updated ever (clearly in its last years! ). If you were drawn to the hotel by the interstate coupon, call ahead. We got a quote of $60, when asked they said they took AAA discount and would be settled once we arrived. The discount was shadily denied. Very deceptive.

Basic no frills accommodations. We had two double rooms that connected for 2 adults and 6 kids ranging from 17 — 7 and still had room to spare.
