Really comfortable beds really nice staff really clean and tidy enjoyed our stay.

Conference Room was booked from 7an to 9pm. We arrived at 19am & the room was still dirty. The fridge pictured in the room was being used for their storage. We had to request they nice their food so we could use the fridge that was in our room! After we finally got into the room & could decorate for our event things went well.

Very clean place beautiful room people there are very nice perfect place to spend the weekend or just go rent a room relaxing beautiful rooms.

Clean, comfortable place, staff is nice and helpful, close to stores and a few reataurants. Fitness area could be a bit better and doesn't have a pool.

Rooms are clean, air conditioners work well, breakfast & snacks are amazing! All of this is possible because the staff there top notch! Friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable, and so pleasant! It was over 100° most of the days we were there & still we were greeted with smiles no matter which employee we were speaking with. I debated removing a star because there are some maintenance issues — our bathroom sink was very slow to drain, they would fix it & it would come right back, the water pressure was troublesome, the elevator is so hot, and a few odd & ends. Another member of our party had a first floor room and she said she did not have water pressure or sink issues and thankfully, she did not have to take the elevator. Perfect for an overnight stay, as long as everything works, perfect for a long stay as well. I don't think you will find nicer people or better food in any hotel in the area, or maybe all of Illinois.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had driven 8 hours, arrived before check in time, but were able to get in our room immediately.

The room was very clean. Loved that there was a mini refrigerator and kitchen. The free breakfast was an added bonus. We will definitely be back.

Spacious room with nice kitchen space. Quiet rooms with nice location. Spent two weeks here for work, and has been a lovely experience.

It's right next to a movie theater and other great shopping places. The room feels like a home away from home! It's very nice and cozy and it's so comfortable! I'd come here again! I really do recommend Hawthorn Suites!

The bed was ok, front desk lady didn't give us the information for the Wi-Fi. We didn't know it was free until Google sent me a notification.

The best hotel in the area — By far! Whether the pricing, cleanliness of the hotel, breakfast options, and staff attentiveness, I have had nothing but wonderful service from this hotel.

Pros: Clean Rooms. Helpful Staff. Great Breakfast. Excellent Wi-Fi signal… (That is 3 of the 5 stars) … lol Cons: Parking may be a factor on the busy parts of the year but other than that, Great Place!

Very pleased with my stay here. Room had a unique but enjoyable layout with a kitchenette. Breakfast was one of the best, with real, thick bacon like you would make at home, eggs, and hash browns that were probably better than you would make at home. Staff was some of the friendliest I have come across. Won't hesitate to book here again next time I am in Decatur.

Comfy and clean room as well as pleasant staff. Located next to several good restaurants for overnight work stays. Frequent additional services and snacks available in the lobby.

Very nice and clean. The rooms had a small kitchen area with everything you would need. There is an AMC theater next to the hotel and plenty of places to eat very close.

Stayed one night while attending a wedding in the area. The room we had was really clean and looked great! Comfortable chairs, couch, and bed. I would definitely stay here again.

I had an engagement in Decatur a few days ago and I brought my wife and kids with me. So we get into our FIRST room and my wife checks out the bed for bed bugs like she always does… She finds something that looks like a bed bug casing. Well, they gave us another room and then that room was FULL of ants. Needless to say, we left the hotel immediately. The front desk girl was very helpful and they gave us our money back. Probably won't stay at another Wyndham hotel again but at least they gave us our money back.

Not the best… handles broken off dressers and drawers, mirrors filthy and when I went down stairs for breakfast (an hour before it was over) and there were no utensils in the food so I asked the worker who stood right next to me, made eye contact but did NOT acknowledge my presence. She went to the back, grabbed 1 spoon, rinsed it off, tossed it in the eggs and walked away. I used it for the eggs but had to grab a plastic fork to get some potatoes and sausage. She had also removed half of the items that should've been out for breakfast… sad sad case considering there was still an hour left before breakfast was to end. Thank goodness I came down when I did. The positive? Cute lil room with fridge and microwave and sitting area. This was my first time staying in a Wyndham and quite frankly, it is my last. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

The location was decent, very convenient to the center of town. The room was nice, albeit with an odd layout, and had a convenient kitchenette. We also appreciated the ease of opening up the windows and extra bedding provided. The breakfast was A+ with real, actual bacon and a variety of hot meal meal and Continental breakfast items. Pretty good, would definitely stay here again.

Great free happy hour and rooms were big too. First floor rooms had less stuff than third floor for some reason.

Was suppose to be Queen bed. Was only a double. Was just OK stay.

Not the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in, but still very comfortable and the staff was great.

Must have whole new staff from 3 years ago My family has been here over a month. Housekeeping staff is AMAZING! Front desk people are wonderful they where willing to help our stay be as nice and as much like home as we could be always asking if we needed anything or what could they do to make things easier for me. My husband was working in town and myself and my 2 and 3 year old stayed at the hotel during the day. Dinner on Wed nights are always warm home cooked feel meals and are wonderful and FREE drinks (though I'm not a drinker they where fully stocked with free beer and wine). The breakfast in the mornings have always been delicious again very much make yourself at home and who doesn't love biscuits and sausage gravy in the morning!

Awful. My husband got $120 for his birthday in a package. He hid the money in a drawer in the hotel (next to the Bible even) and the maid stole it. One of the other maids new she did it and told the manager, but the manager wouldn't do anything. I've called 6 times and the manager won't return my calls. If you like having people steal your money and TERRIBLE hospitality, here's your place!
