They have the best meatloaf in town and my wife said her NY strip was perfect. The staff are always friendly and provide great service.

When I booked our 1 night stay, I didn't read any reviews. I read them after I booked. So we arrived and I instantly was impressed. The lady checking us in was very helpful and very nice. We went to our room and as we did I looked out over courtyard and I seen all the extra amenities. They had a big pool, miniature golf, shuffleboard, corn hole, Sand volleyball, and a trail that you can walk into town or just casual stroll by the creek. The restaurant was excellent. Service and food was excellent. We will definitely be back to visit!

It was like a step back in time. My husband and I enjoyed a few days at this resort. Loved the pool, trails, restaurant and quiet atmosphere. Everything is within walking distance.

Tried to get a table at the restaurant… we were told we could sit outside in full sun or wait 30 minutes. I turned to my husband to ask what he wanted to do and the hostess said “make a decision, there’s a line behind you! ” Based on that first impression, I wouldn’t want to see what table service is like.

I do not recommend this place. We were on our anniversary, supposed to be a special trip, people next to us partied practically all night. Their Resturant is overpriced, not really all that good. We got home and the next day we got charged 80.00 so we called them and they said because it smelt like smoke. "We DO NOT smoke" still we got charged. The bed was broken down. I did notice the maids smoked, so I believe they did this just to get more money… So upset. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Run away. If I could rate this place 1 star from me. My anniversary was ruined by this blame.

I can't get over how nice and quaint this Inn was. From the time I walked in, to going to eat dinner, then drinks at the bar, the hospitality was AMAZING! I will definitely be back in the warmer months so I'm able to enjoy the outside amenities. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

You should accommodate your guests. We were unable to find seating for the restaurant or bar. Started inquiring at 7:00 pm and was told finally at 8:30, that there would be no more seating. Band was playing and tables sat empty. We watched several people turned away. If your a guest at the hotel, and paying the extra costs for meals… then honor it.

Wonderful outdoor spaces, great bar. The day I visited, there was an amazing farmers market with locals artisans on site. Thoughtful menu, Brisket Hash w/poached eggs was worth the drive into Brown County.

This place is such a nice get away friendly staff great restaurant! Reasonable prices.

Cassie, our server, was absolutely the best! Took care of our party of 21 like it was a cakewalk. Tommie, the chef… mmm, EVERYTHING was superb. (Home made ketchup? ZOHMYGOSH! )

although they had the RUDEST WEDDING PARTY EVER who kept us up all night! I didn't pay 200 to have to listen to them running back and forth above my head all night! White TRASH at its finest.

The omlet with everything was amazing also was the stuffed french toast waiter and waitress was great and the young gentleman cleaning the tables and everything else really impressed me I will always go back there to eat loved everything.

Fun trip with my daughter and granddaughter! Fun things to do! Updated and clean! Good food! It would be nice to see some of the parents off their phones and interact or at least watch their children! No fault of the hotel! They provided an amazing play space and pool! The trail into town was awesome!

Dinner in the dining room was very good. Loved the salmon with parsnips. The patio out back was lovely and we really enjoyed Kade Puckett playing guitar.

This was the perfect place for our daughters wedding. Everything is beautiful from the grounds to the Inn itself. The food was outstanding — best wedding food ever! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. And Mary who coordinated everything for the weekend is a rock star and amazing to work with! 5 stars for sure!

The staff is incredibly friendly. The food at the restaurant is delicious! I had the BCI Breakfast Sandwich and my husband had the soup of the day and cheese curds. The room was comfortable and clean (even the balcony). We didn’t use the pool, but it looked clean as well. Nice path leading to the state park and downtown Nashville. I would stay here again if ever in the area.

We ate lunch there. Enjoyed the food. Just have to learn times to go so you dont have to wait as they dont have much space. Very nice and food was really good. I had the smoked salmon, pickled beet sandwich. Interesting but very good.

Food was horrible. Fried chicken was not buttermilk chicken as stated. Potatoes and gravy were cheap instant, steak was thin and tough and grissley. Fries tasted refried. Even the ketchup tasted like it was funky. Worst meal I've had in a very long time. Well since we had breakfast there 5 years ago.
I can't figure out how to give star rating bit if I could it would be half star.

Go to Farmer's Market here on Sundays after church. Love the Farmer's Market! Have not visited Brown County Inn since new owners, but hear very good things. Totally remodeled and revamped! Open Mic on Wednesdays, and entertainment in lounge on weekends. Restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner in building adjoined by lodging. Walk to town or trolley in. Close to ALL needed!

We really enjoyed it. The room was huge and the bed was great. The pool area was excellent and I liked that it was a little deeper than some (8 feet). It was an easy walk to all the shops, and we took the trail behind the inn to cross the highway. The bar/saloon was pleasant. We only ate breakfast at the restaurant, but what we got was fine. Didn't have any complaints, and it was pretty much what we expected.

It is wonderful! The pool is much bigger than usual hotel pools. They have putting putt, shuffle board and horse shoes! This hotel is clean and cozy! I recommend it to everyone!

Love, love, love! First visit & already planning g return trip this fall. Suite really great. We did drive to shops but is within walking distance just too hot on our visit! Front Desk very helpful!

We had our wedding at Brown County Inn and it was fantastic! The venue is lovely — inside and out. And the food at the restaurant (which does the wedding catering) was absolutely delicious! The entire staff was so professional and great to work with!

We had a fabulous stay at The BC Inn this week. We checked in on Sunday afternoon and stayed 3 nights (one more than planned). The room was quiet and clean. I loved the patio overlooking the courtyard, it was nice to have coffee out there in the morning. We took full advantage of the on site restaurant and bar. The beef brisket hash for breakfast was fabulous, as well as the gumbo for dinner. I love that there was a nice salad bar so at least we felt like we were being a little bit healthy. Our last night there we had to try the burgers, no dissapointment at all… The bacon jam on the bacon bleu burger was amazing! All of our bartenders and wait staff were friendly and accomidating. The indoor/outdoor pool was also a treat. Thanks for a great get-a-way!

AMAZING customer service! My hubby and I were staying here to celebrate our anniversary when we got a call that our dog back home wasn't well, and we had to cut our trip short. Stephanie was a dream to work with on what could have been an extreme nightmare of having to check out before our planned date. Her professionalism as well as the cleanliness and amenities of the hotel (pool, putt-putt, horse shoes, corn hole, live music, a walking trail by a pretty creek …) will certainly bring us back in the future! Thank you Brown County Inn for putting your customers first!

My husband and I love coming here. The rooms are very nice and are always clean. The food is excellent! We always have a great time when we are there. The Staff are happy and personable. Must be a good place to work as well!

This is the absolute best place to eat in town! I’ve lived here for over a decade and I’m so happy to finally have a place close by with great service, awesome atmosphere, and most importantly delicious food!

Close to the local merchants, historical monuments, and convenient stores. The staff were pleasant and attentive. The hotel was clean and had a great look at a beautiful courtyard. Put put, pool, gardens were all surprises because we did not research before we went. Thank you all for a great time.

We ended up needing a place to stay unexpectedly. The reception was friendly and helpful without being overbearing. The room we stayed on was really nice and the sliding glass doors were an unexpected delight. The only thing I would wish for is a continental breakfast, 10$ a plate for breakfast was the only drawback. Overall I would recommend this as a nice place to stay for more than one night.

Spent part of a very nice day here in the restaurant/lounge visiting with family. Nice selection of craft brews. Wedge salad was fresh, crisp, cold, and tasty. Family member enjoyed the chicken and french fries. Super friendly staff are attentive but not overbearing. Not at all crowded. Not rushed. Clean restrooms. Easy free parking. Beautiful setting. Highly recommend.

I took my wife here for our anniversary. We come to Brown county quite often but this was our first stay here. First off the location is perfect. Walking distance from everything. The staff was super friendly. The room was clean and having a balcony was an added plus. We had margaritas and draft beer while we ate dinner at the Corn Crib lounge. Food was fantastic and the drinks were spot on. The pool was excellent. Large size well kept. Very pleased. We will stay here every time we come back. Loved our stay here. Definitely leaving Rachel our house keeper a tip. 5 star for this hillbilly.

I'd actually like to give it 4.5 stars because I like it that much. We've stayed there many times and have always had a great experience with the staff, the cleanliness and the quietness. Also, the restaurant is very good — it's one of our top two places to eat in Nashville.

I've stayed at the Brown County Inn twice, and I love it! The staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant food is exceptional! The gravy on the meat loaf is to die for! The salad bar is very good. The breakfast buffet is wonderful! I can't say enough good things about this place! A great place to stay — SO worth the price.

All of our family stayed there on Thanksgiving and ate at the Restaurant. The rooms and the food was great. Very pleasant and restful stay. We will Def be going back in the future.

All u can eat breakfast. Food ok, nothing special but nothing bad. Decent meats, good fruit, not sure scrambled eggs were real. Service attentive but just lukewarm. Coffee kept full and very hot. Good selection. Atmosphere very Brown County.

The Brown County Inn was renovated within the last 2 years and the place looks great with the upgrades. The dining room is well lit and decorated nicely, the pool is well-maintained and spacious, and the hallways are clean and bright. The rooms are nice as well, however my infant did manage to find trash underneath the bureau and the bed (just 2 small candy wrappers), and there were sunglasses left behind (folded and stashed in the standing lamp). The bathroom did not have a working fan, and the unused vents located in the shower stall were stuffed full of dust and debris. The bathroom ceiling is a drop-style with tiles that were molding in spots. I hope that management reads this review and recognizes the need to renovate the bathrooms in the rooms — if it were not for the bathroom issues, this would easily be a 4 or 5 star review. The staff are very friendly, the food was tasty, and the pillows and beds were surprisingly soft and very comfortable. The BCI has a great location, and the (hopefully ongoing) renovations have made this inn the best place to stay in Nashville! (I was raised in Brown County and visit family frequently, this is the ONLY place in Nashville worth staying overnight! )

My friend and I just got back from her for an overnight stay. We loved it, the room was nice, and the fact that it has a place for dinner, bar for drinks and a heated pool don't hurt. We loved the fact that we didn't have to go anywhere. Dinner was pretty damn good we both had the NY strip with fingerling potatoes and grilled green beans. The Salad Bar was $3.00 extra but totally worth it. We left stuffed and not that expensive at all. The Pool could have been a little warmer but I'm not too worried about that. Cool pool area though, then we made our way to the bar area where we had a couple nightcaps. Really nice bar area, our bartender was pretty awesome too as well as the nice lady who served us. We both slept ok, needed a fan but ya know, oh well. We both got up and ate breakfast and I was once again impressed I had Homemade right then Corned Beef Hash with two eggs and a homemade biscuit with this jelly that will make my mouth water til the next time. All around I loved it, really shocked about some of the reviews I thought it was awesome. Thanks for the good experience.

Great place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Great location, within walking distance from downtown Nashville, IN and close enough to go hiking and enjoy nature at Brown County state park. The staff is very friendly. The walls are a bit thin, and bathroom a bit cramped. The amenities like the pool and mini golf are included with the rate. I would stay there again.

Great food, great atmosphere, great location, and great for kids. We live locally, so I've never stayed in the rooms, but I know the owners have done a lot of work the last few years to update and improve all aspects of the Inn and Restaurant. Even if you're not staying there, you can still eat in the restaurant. If the weather cooperates, they have an awesome deck for outdoor eating. Free simple putt putt course right off the deck. This is fun for all ages, but a special sanity saver if you have kids and can send them to play while you sit, watch them, and enjoy your drink until food comes! Parking is free, but you can also easily walk there from town, especially if you use the Salt Creek Trail (entrance by the CVS).

I stayed here for a friend's wedding, and I've eaten here a couple other times while visiting the area. It was a great venue for the wedding and reception. Rooms are nice, good playground, swimming pool, shuffleboard, volleyball, and creekside trail. Walking distance to everything in Nashville. Small, but good bar with live music on the weekends. Delicious food at the restaurant, amazing breakfast buffet.

Visited with family to have drinks and enjoy some music. The bar area was nice and drinks and service came quickly. Comfortable seating and table areas. It seems odd that they have placed the performance are in the corner of a cramped L-shaped bar area when there's a huge rooms right behind it. Seems like a wasted opportunity for a truly great music venue. Would also recommend better signage for the restrooms, they're kind of hard to find.

5 stars not because it's fancy or opulent, but it is a fantastic place to take kids. Pool is really nice and is a hybrid indoor/outdoor setup with overhead doors. Restaurant has high quality menu (the salad bar sucks, but the menu items are fantastic! ) Try the pork chops! Super friendly staff. Free mini golf! (Don't expect a super complicated setup), overall a beautiful property, very clean rooms and unbeatable amenities for the cost.

Mostly nice, a few querks in the bathroom give it a 4. Clean, great pool, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. The bathroom is outdated, but very functional. Had a breaker blow when trying to use hairdryer is all. Great location. Would come again.

The Brown County Inn has great rooms, the courtyard is beautiful and the bar/restaurant was very good with local wines and great service. We saw a local singer who was amazing! The pool is very nice and clean. It was close to the shops in downtown Nashville. Great place to stay. I would not stay anywhere else when going to Nashville, IN.

Great place for kids. Mini golf, pool, close to downtown. Plenty of space to meet and hang out. Rooms were good sized and clean.

The outdoor area of the Inn is the focal point of the stay. The rooms are definitely not going to be. While the web site clearly states that the rooms have been updated, I found this hard to believe. Our bathroom while not 'dirty' certainly left something to be desired. The toilet handle needed to be held down for it to flush and the wall mounted air conditioner struggled to keep the room cool at night, and as result the room started to smell off a bit. In my sister's room, they had to wait over 5 minutes for the light in the bathroom to warm up to turn on, and their bath tub wouldn't drain prompting a call to the front desk. To their credit they did fix that quickly. While we experienced sub par "updated rooms" my parents had a great room. Bathroom quite nicely updated with new flooring, new vanity, new bathtub, and a new dresser in the living space. The outdoor space is great though. With a big playground area with plenty of room for a lot of kids, an outdoor mini golf course, a horseshoe pit, shuffleboard, and a pool area that can be open rain or shine (not lightning though). There is plenty for adults and kids to do. With a short walk in to town, and nearby wineries, The Brown County Inn is a great place to stay to enjoy what the area has to offer. Just don't look to spend a lot of time in your room if you get one of the "kinda updated rooms".

We have stayed at this Inn 3 or 4 times per year with family and friends, for the past 9 or 10 years. We understand there is a new owner. The prices of rooms went up and the food was terrible. We had dinner and left over 70% of it. We should never have gone back for breakfast, but thought maybe the dinner was just a bad night. The breakfast was just as bad. Our room was newly painted, but the bathroom light didn't work and one of the two beds smelled like urine. What a disappointing stay. Several people in the halls asked us if we had been there before and they were upset also. Never again.

Rooms were very expensive and not worth the money. Toilet wouldn't flush right and clogged in the morning. Screen door was broken. You can hear everything in hallways and next door. I have allergies to mold and was up all night with a stuffy nose and eyes swollen. Beds are super soft, felt like sleeping on marshmallows. Only reason I didn't give a 1 rating were the grounds. They are neat and great if you come with kids. They have mini-golf, a cool indoor/outdoor pool, playground, and outdoor seating to hang out in groups. We were there as couples, better if you have kids. Very close to the downtown with a little train that takes you to town, but it stop s running too early.

Went for a wedding. Bar and restaurant were decent. Room was clean and tidy. Not very many in-room amenities but there was a great pool and mini golf.

Was attending a 2 day conference. The rooms were clean and spacious, quick Wi-Fi, comfortable bed. The conference room was well suited to our needs, and the staff was friendly, professional and helpful. Great experience all the way around.

Rooms are nice, clean and quiet. Nice indoor pool with many garage type doors that can be opened in warm weather-very cool! Staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Inn is kept very, very clean. Restaurant is very good.

It was very wonderful and cozy. The big indoor pool was nice and heated. There was a play ground along with mini golf. The people were very hospitable and kind. The breakfast was amazing and a lot of food! Definitely will be staying here again.

I tried the restaurant for dinner. I had the fried half chicken, salad bar, smashed potatoes, grilled green beans. The food was fresh, hot, and abundant. My criticism would be that the chicken needed additional seasoning and there needs to be a variety of salad dressings. They offered home made ranch dressing. It tasted fresh, but I wouldn't consider it a ranch dressing. To me, it was a bleu cheese. I wasn't crazy about it. The salad bar was very clean and well-stocked. The taco soup available at the salad bar was exceptional. My experience would have been five star, had there been a variety of salad dressings, and had the chicken been fully seasoned. I loved the atmosphere and it is rustic and inviting. I will be back!

We came in for a wedding and had great stay. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. Buffet was served as breakfast both days and I was a little disappointed not to be able to order off menu because the food sounded good. The scent of clean and wood was refreshing. Pool was warm. I would add this place to my 'to stay at' list.
