What a wonderful way to spend a night. We are sorry we missed our host as we were in the midst of a multi-day long drive, but comfortable beds, unique character, and an aura of care and classiness made it a wonderful stay for us. We will want to return when we have more time to take in the garden and explore the home history.

I have stayed here twice and had an excellent experience both times. The inn is really lovely and comfortable, and Kevin the innkeeper is super friendly and available. You don't get cooked breakfast here, but a good variety of prepared foods are available, and the location is very convenient to a variety of downtown restaurants.

Great house, very cozy and easy to reach. I wasn't able to get anything cooked for breakfast but other than that it's a great place to stay. Rooms are huge and comfortable.

This is a great place, you will want to stay more than once. Very very comfortable beds. Wonderful, relaxing soaking tubs. Close, to many restaurants.

Staff very friendly. Room was quite nice. Breakfast was very good. Only real complaint is I wish the room had temperature control, but that's understandable I think.

Friendly staff. Lovely room. Nice breakfast selection. Very comfortable. Very reasonably priced. This is a great place to stay. My only reservation in recommending this is that there are 2 small friendly dogs in the house. I enjoyed them, Dasher and Princess were cute and sweet, but this might be a problem for anyone who is allergic to dogs. The doggies did not enter the room as far as I saw. If you can tolerate friendly dogs, this is a great choice.

This place was amazing. It was such a lovely stay, the house is beautiful and the rooms so tastefully done. I would highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful home inside and out! Comfy bed, lovely room, fluffy towels, soft robe, charming host… I wish we had arrived earlier and could stay later!

My husband and I stayed here over the Thanksgiving holiday, and we both agree that the Champaign Garden Inn is definitely worth of a five-star rating. The rooms we stayed in (San Francisco for two nights with family, then Santa Barbara for one night on our own) were lovely and the beds incredibly comfy. The continental breakfast was perfect to get us caffeinated, fed, and out the door. Our hosts were wonderful, made us feel welcome immediately. It is within walking distance of restaurants, cafes, bars. If I lived in the area and needed a night away, I would book it here!

Very well decorated and comfortable place. They clearly put a lot of love into this inn. The breakfast is okay, good for continential and they leave a lot of snack out for guests. The dogs were also super sweet and adorable! I do wish they left the fridge unlocked all day. The only thing I didn't like is that the man who greeted us was rude to my boyfriend and quite sarcastic.

Great place, great location only 3 blocks from downtown. We will definitely be returning next time we're in Champaign!

Sitting in the porch swing enjoying my coffee yesterday at this beautiful place says it all. So much nicer than your typical hotel. Highly recommend!

Beautiful house and landscaping! It is clear attention has been paid to every detail. Quality and comfort are superb.

Breakfast buffet was great. Food was excellent with lots of choices. Not too expensive and the service was friendly.

Great place. Very charming and full of character, but updated for more modern comforts—was pleasantly surprised by the super comfortable bed! Very friendly host. Obviously a well-loved and cared for inn. We only stayed 1 night for a concert but wish we had a longer visit.

Enjoyed, a wonder birthday weekend here with my husband. This place is a little gem! Reasonably priced, and full of little extra amenities that make staying extra comfortable! Very friendly and helpful service! I highly recommend everyone try it at least once! I look foward to returning!

This place was absolutely amazing. Although I will say that it had the feeling of… If 2017 still had inns. It is a huge house where you can rent a room with shared common areas. The breakfast was not forced at a time but there was instead a large selection of breakfast foods available at any time. Another note: I loved the antique furniture. I felt like I was a rich man from the early 1800s… with Wi-Fi. And the prices were very fair to boot! This is definitely a place I will come back to whenever I visit my alma mater.

The experience of staying in this charming bed and breakfast is amazing! The decor is charming and polished, the location is perfect (within walking distance from downtown) and the hosts had excellent suggestions for restaurants/bars. The room's TV had Netflix and Amazon, which is a first for a hotel in my experience, so that is awesome. We got our money's worth, and we will make this our go to spot everyone we come through town.

My nephew, Neil Culpepper, rented the downstairs portion of the Garden Inn for our Christmas this year. It was absolutely gorgeous — it spoke Christmas! We had 33 people — and we were all very comfortable in our spacious, inviting and cozy surroundings. I just cannot say enough about the beauty and elegance of the Champaign Garden Inn… absolutely gorgeous! Everything was sparkling clean and every last detail was perfect — even the singing snowman in the bathroom! Did I mention it is absolutely gorgeous?! What a memorable Christmas for all of us! Thank you!

This amazing hundred+ year old BNB has been treated so well with such attention to detail it is blowing my mind. They are so clean & every detail has been attended to. They have Silk milk & other Vegan friendly treats on their 24 hour breakfast bar; electrical​ outlets everywhere; free Wi-Fi; comfy fluffy robes & towels; a wonderful jacuzzi tub; fireplaces; daily room refreshing; cruelty free comp toiletries; funky nooks & crannies; gorgeous decor; big soft beds with exquisite bedding; beautiful decoration; discounted rates; extra blankets & heaters; lovely gardens; fun, friendly hosts, Kevin & Daniel & puppies, Dasher & Princess! Love this place & hope to make staying here our yearly tradition.

The best B&B I have ever been in! The owners were wonderful, the house was beautifully decorated and our bed was absolutely the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Amazing stay. Will definitely be back.

I really enjoyed my stay at this B&B. The owners are very nice and their home is extremely clean and organized. I stayed in the Berkeley room which has the cutest window seat! The bed was very comfortable, I got a great night's sleep. I really liked it that the breakfast room is open at all times so I could get bottled water, coffee, juice or a snack at any time during my stay. I was in town for an event and the best part about the Garden Inn for me was location, location, … location. I was able to leave my car parked at the Inn and walk just a few blocks to the downtown area, where there are tons of restaurants, pubs, a fantastic used bookstore, and the Virginia Theatre. The Inn is also right next to a beautiful park which I was able to enjoy due to the lovely weather. I didn't have to mess with trying to find parking downtown and then getting stuck in the crowd of people and cars afterwards. I hope to stay here again very soon!
