Stayed last night, the satellite wasn’t working, the air conditioner wasn’t working this mornings hostess at the front desk apparently isn’t having a very pleasant morning. When asked about things not working properly the comment was I’m not a technician. When asked if they was bringing out more food cause the first round of customers ate most of the eggs and all the sausage the reply was I have other things I’m doing. A gentleman mentioned there wasn’t any coffee very rudely she said I will get to it. How about when checking in you just say give us your money we don’t like to fix anything, we don’t care about our customers and nothing works around here so deal with it. If you want breakfast and or coffee go find a restaraunt.

The front desk clerk is wonderful. He was very helpful and friendly.

I try to say positive things about each business that I try. This Quality Inn makes that policy a true challenge. But, I think I can do it. The positive is the bed was comfortable. The maid was nice enough to open door for me when my key wouldn't work rather than send me to front desk. But, the owner and other staff?

Set up reservation. Very reasonably priced. Rooms were not bad, but plumbing was a no go. I had small children with me and there was like this weird stuff peeling from the tub almost like paint, and the drain wouldn't plug. Didn't have a chance to check out the pool or breakfast, but staff was great. I ended up not staying the night because the tub issue was in two other rooms as well. Gave a full refund with no problem. I'd give them another shot in the future after a little updating in the bathroom.

We stopped on our way to texas from Michigan. Had a late check in and early out. Great place for a place to rest. Beds were clean and comfy, quiet too. Breakfast was so so. Coffee in lobby is like hot tea. I suggest making coffee in the room. Other than that it was perfect for what we needed. Price was cheap too.

The only place in town to stay. Literally. Nice, clean. Good price. Staff friendly and helpful.

We had to make a last minute decision to stop here and I'm glad we did. The staff was friendly and the room was cool, quiet, and clean. We had everything we needed to get back on the road refreshed.

The lady here was very cold. I know it's early but you're in customer service and your business is the first business at the border of your state. Be nice. I'll take my stay to the next town.

Rooms were clean! Nice quiet location! The breakfast was good-there was a nice variety to choose from. Was nice to have conversations with fellow travelers in the breakfast area.

Clean room but HOT … air conditioning not working in common areas. Taking 2 hours or more for our room to cool down enough to sleep. Not much in the area and was warned to avoid the area due to crime. Definitely driving a little longer next time for a QUALITY hotel!

Nice location to stay. I need rest after many hours of driving and I found this hotel. Overall good experience. Clean room available and nice staff which granted my all demand.

Wish I could give zero stars. Arrived here at 11:30pm last night with my wife and infant daughter after driving for 9 hours. Tried to check-in but the front desk clerk said they were doing a 2-hour software update (at 11:30 on Saturday night? ) and couldn’t check me in. Clerk obviously lacked any critical or creative thinking skills regarding customer service. He just could not think of a solution. Asked if I could leave my credit card and pay in the morning — Nope. Told me …to drive 12 miles out of my way to nearest Quality Inn. When I asked if they were also doing a software upgrade, he just gave me their phone number and told me to call them. Ended up driving another hour to Paducah, KY (Auburn Place Hotel was amazing). Suggestions to the owner: lots of customer service training, hire competent workers that can solve problems on evening shift, and schedule your software upgrades between 1:30 or 2:30 when nobody is looking for a room.

I just want to share my experience with this place. The gentleman who helped us the night we checked in was awesome. As we were checking out, we came upon a MEAN, disrespectful, awful and no whatsoever customer service skills lady by the name Sonny? She asked me how many people in the rooms and I kindly told her and she asked me with an attitude like if we were not guests at all. I kindly asked her why she was upset at me and she got up and went to a door behind the desk and shut the door behind. She was so mad at me because of no reason at all. I asked if I can talk to a manager and she claimed she was the manager and told me to just leave. She approached another door and a man came out probably her husband. They both shut the door and I could hear them cuzzing at and using other inappropriate words. I contacted the owner and I stated everything to him. I am very sorry but people like this shouldn't work in a place like this. Hotel accommodate guests who travel and are tired and just want to rest and move on and not to deal with BS like this from the hotel front desk representative. Lady, I hope you find peace and happiness somewhere but don't put all your anger and frustration on them guests. Your CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS and your position as a manger for Quality Inn at Cairo ILL wow… you should attend more training before applying for jobs like that… I WOULD NEVER IN MILLION YEARS GO BACK TO THIS PLACE AS LONG THIS LADY WORKS THERE! very disappointed customer.

02/07/2018 — My husband and I chose this Quality Inn because we had to come to court in Pulaski County, IL. The hotel is located in the middle of no where. Dollar General is the only other business in the area. The hotel room had an odor, furniture was dirty, bathroom was extremely small and to top it off, we had a big mice in our room. The hotel staff were friendly and apologetic. We would not stay here again.

In this dead town this the most expensive hotel 55 bucks. I had no issues with it same as I would pay 90 in another city. Sad situation in town it self but price of hotel is good.

Got charged extra for a leaky bathroom faucet that broke when I tried to use it. Bathroom was tiny. The night desk person seemed nice but the morning lady was rude. The city of Cairo looks destitute. The couch looked dirty. No where to eat. Most of all though, beware if you use a credit/debit card because they will charge your card for room repairs that were broken to begin with. Stay elsewhere!

At first I thought this was an okay place to stay. (09/17/17). It looked clean and the lady at the desk was friendly and helpful. The room appeared clean and comfortable. However, when I went to use the shower, the faucet came off the wall when I raised the shower lever. It was late at night, so I decided I would just show it to them in the morning. I'm a reasonable person and understand that motel rooms get a lot of wear and tear so I wasn't going to make a big issue out of it. When checking out the next morning, my husband took the faucet with him and explained to the lady at the front desk what happened. Her response was "Those are brand new! "… okay. Not sure what that has to do with anything, but it obviously it was not put together adequately to begin with or it was already broken. Still, I didn't see this as a big deal and planned on staying there again in my travels through that area. That was until I seen I was charged an extra $27.75 a few days later. I called and talked to the lady who answered the phone to find out why I was charged for this. (09/23/17) She rudely replied "it's for the faucet that you broke! " As I tried to explain what happened, all I heard was silence for she had hung up on me. I called again and asked if she hung up on me. She said "Yes. You broke it. You will pay for it to be fixed! This what my boss said to do! You can call the owner and talk to him! " I said yes and she gave me the number.

Super fast and friendly service with a great room and was very happy all around.

Very nice and spacious rooms. Very very comfortable beds. The only downfall was a small bathroom but overall I would definitely recommend this place.

If you are looking for a place to get a quick night's rest, this is it. Nothing fancy at all. No food or entertainment nearby. Bed too soft and bathroom ridiculously tiny.

The hotels was decently clean. Great location, only OPEN hotel in Cairo. Will definitely be staying here again due to the convenient spot.

The room we were in 119 was very clean I enjoyed sleeping in the BIG KING size bed.
The continental breakfast was delicious and
I really enjoyed the hospitality.
When I visit Cairo, IL I will be staying at the
Quality Inn.

First of all we were the only family there, while we where there only 2 hours into the stay the lights went out, pitch black darkness is all I remember about this place!

I walked into my room and it smelled like someone just burned a pound of marijuana in it.

Amazing service nice people good time.

Pet friendly, the service was good. There was nothing around it and the toilet was loud. The room was good though.

Stay in Sikeston or eat before you come. Corridors smell of cigarettes. Good attention from staff and fine for overnight if you are not fussy.

Clean, very friendly, priced right. No restarants near by. Huckleberry's dinner/pub closest, 5-6 miles away. Not much to see, area very depressed. But also not many motel/hotels to choose from. Man at night desk very warm and friendly. Manager in morning very unfriendly. Small bathroom. Would stay again.

Customer Service was Excellent, rooms we're very clean and the staff was Great.

We stopped at this hotel on our way from Indianapolis to Florida. We read the good reviews and decided to stop. Bad idea. The shower was broken, the fridge didn't work, the security door outside the corridor where our room was located didn't lock. Ice machine leaked and the room was run down. Total cost: $85 w/pet fee. Stayed at an Econo Lodge in Georgia the next night for the same price and our room was immaculate. This hotel needs some serious maintenance. We probably won't be staying at a Quality Inn again.

I absolutely loovvvveee this place. My car stopped on the highway on my way to Indiana at 5 in the morning and I was alone and scared. The customer service was the greatest I have ever experienced. They were so helpful and kind. The manager looks mean but she honestly have a heart made of gold. She even brought me food because I didn't have transportation. Hotel is full of angels! God bless every single on of them!

Always a nice stay… sonny opened up breakfast early each day for us before hunting. Always friendly.

My workers in I were working in Cario. We stayed here in April of last year, they have good rates a nice clean room & friendly service. Would recommend this quality inn to anyone!

Hubby and I needed a break during our cross-country drive. We started in Memphis and thought a stop in Cairo would be appropriate. We're glad we stopped. The hotel seems very new. We could still smell the fresh paint in the lobby and halls. The king-sized bed was comfy. The room was a good temperature. Siera at the front desk was friendly and quick. This has been one of the best experiences I've had in a family chain hotel. Will absolutely stop here again if the need ever arises again!
