This is where you feel really comfortable! People are nice and accommodating. The rooms are individually and lovingly furnished. Free parking and you can also borrow beach utensils for free. In the morning you sit with the other guests at the breakfast table and talk about the past activities and the upcoming plans and consult. But you can also ask the staff for tips at any time …

My partner and I stayed in Haiku Plantation Inn for 4 nights. It's not a bad place, but there is a lot of opportunity for improvement. I have extensively travelled all continents of the world and visited hundreds of hotels and B&B's from $10 to $500 per night. People who rate this place with 5 stars have either very low expectations or no travel experience. At arrival at the parking we had to find our way through a pool of mud and dead leaves, which is obviously not very welcoming. Hospitality was lacking, just functional but no interest in their guests. The room is a bit small with no walking space left when you have your suitcase open on the floor. Hot water in the shower takes ages. The mattress is too soft and pillows too thin. I did not particularly like the huge cockroach in the room nor the dozen bug bites I woke up with after 1 night. Breakfast is plentiful, but very basic quality. The walls in the house are paper thin, which means you hear everything from the neighbours or other guests having breakfast. I would not really mind any of these 'issues' if the cost per night was US$100, but at US$216 per night one expects a different quality level. The only reason I don't score it 2 stars for (lack of) value is that all hotel prices in Maui are hugely inflated (the island premium). In Asia I often had better rooms for 1/4th of the costs. The location of the B&B is very convenient for the two most popular day trips on Maui (Road to Hana and Haleakala).

Lovely place with a nice garden with a rain forest like flair. In the morning u get fresh Papaya, pineapple, Avocado, and apple-bananas freshly picked. The location is great for Start in Trips like Road to Hana, Haleakala Peak, or just to Paia, Hookipa, just to name a few. Wes always got nice ideas for activities. Looking forward to come back to Maui!

Wesley and staff were amazing I highly suggest that everyone visitor and locals should give the Haiku Plantation Inn: Maui Bed and Breakfast a try I promise you will enjoy it.

We had a very nice room downstairs. The private terrace leads directly to the pool and the whirlpool, from which you can enjoy the sunset. The staff was very helpful.

Maui is a paradise, staying at the Haiku Plantation Inn makes it even better. We spent a memorable week there and loved it. Location, location, location — you can reach any part of the island in an hour, it's only a couple of minutes off the Hana Highway. Sandy, Wes and Eno were excellent hosts. Their knowledge of the island is suburb. Fresh fruit picked on the grounds for breakfast. A huge mango tree outside the door, just reach up and pick a snack. Comfortable airy rooms and spacious common areas. We even loved waking up to red jungle fowl in the morning, you can't get that in the walled in sanitized resorts.

We booked our stay through Expedia after reading all the comments from tripadvisor. It sure is a great place to stay. They provide a great continental breakfast with fresh fruits. Inn is clean and pleasant. It is close to Paia, Hoopika beach and Road To Hana. They will provide you with beach towels and chairs if requested. If you want to stay in a nice country inn, secluded from the crazy tourists and crowd, this is your spot.

Cute bed and breakfast. Comfortable beds. Good Wi-Fi. Nice staff.

Wonderful rooms, great location, clean, and friendly!

We were very happy to spend a few nights in Haiku Plantation Inn during our honeymoon. The location is excellent, far away from the tourist resorts, close to cosy Paia and lively Haiku center and as a starting point to discover the road to Hana. Prices are a little steep though, taking into account the limited breakfast.

Everything was as expected and described, Haiku Plantation Inn is a wonderful, peaceful and very pleasant place to stay. Owner Sandy is simply wonderful, very helpful, funny and kind. House was clean and well kept. We were pleasantly surprised about the level of service provided: very comfortable bed, good quality linens, excellent fluffy cotton towels (seriously I don't think many people have such good towels at their homes) and brand new high quality beach gear. Breakfast was always delicious, fresh fruit, milk, bread, muffins — everything you need to start your day! Sandy was always making sure that everybody had enough food and that nothing is missing. Internet access was flawless, very fast and stable considering that it's a tropical island in the middle of pacific ocean. Haiku Inn is very well located, not far from some fabulous beaches like Ho'okipa or our favorite Baldwin Beach. Very close — walking distance to charming Haiku town, restaurants, shops, laundromat etc. In general we had a blast! We highly recommend Sandy and her Inn. If we come back, and we sure will… we will definitely stay again in Haiku Inn.

Well, I loved it. I just spent the most wonderful week at the Haiku Plantation Inn. I say, you have to stay here if you want the true Aloha spirit to meet your expectations. Sandy opened her heart and home to me and her other guests as well while I was there. My room was lovely with wonderful trade breezes and lots of window looking out through gardens of huge trees and fresh fruit hanging right outside my window. I will return, and recommend it highly. Convenient for all my driving excursions with the drive down Hana Highway as my particular favorite.

We had a really nice time here. Beautiful setting — off the beaten track, but still close enough to Paia. A reasonable amount of road noise, however.

We just stayed at the Haiku Plantation Inn. I am an artist and lived in Paia for years. We wanted something authentic, comfortable and reasonable. In the mornings it was so beautiful I had the urge to paint out on the grounds, with the beautiful old trees and cascading bouganvilla I could not resist. We had a great time and will return again on our next vacation to Maui. The owners were very gracious and helped with all our questions on restaurants and things to see. We recommend it highly.
