The grounds were absolutely breathtaking. You could spend all day looking at all the amazing architecture & decor. We were there for my stepson's wedding and it couldn't have been more perfect.

Was here for my son's wedding. Staff was fantastic. Setting is perfect. Great day!

We visited last night to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. From the moment we stepped onto thr property, I knew it was going to be an unforgettable experience. The staff was so friendly, the food was amazing, and our room exceeded our expectations. Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect. We decided this is going to be a yearly celebration for us and I am counting down the days until we return. Thank you for a truly special experience. I could literally go on and on about this beautiful place.

The maintenance manager, or one of them Daniel Smith, is the rudest most self centered ignorant person I’ve ever professionally dealt with, not only was he rude but after approaching my wife for personalized products through her business attacked her, us, and falsely reported her all because personalized items (especially his requested amount) requires an upfront payment because if someone backs out or refuses to pay, it’s all thrown away wasted and cannot be used because of obvious personalization issues!

It was our 1st time here, will definitely be back. The food & atmosphere was top notch and the staff were amazing!

What an amazing experience for my husband and I! We just passed through on a whim and fell in love. I can’t say enough enough about the staff! From the front desk to the restaurant waiters to the turndown service it was all top notch.

Food is well prepared and presented. This is a wonderful place to go for a special occasion. The wine list in INCREDIBLE. Wait staff are wonderful.

Attended a 50th Anniversary celebration at the beautiful, historic Antrim and loved every minute. A lovely summer afternoon with the gardens in full bloom! Staff was helpful and caring, food was delicious and everyone had a lovely time! A special place to go for special occasions!

More than dinner — An evening. Beautiful grounds and rooms, impeccable service and attention, with a bar that welcomes you back in history 175 years! Definitely worth the easy/beautiful 20 minute drive from Gettysburg!

Beautiful location and venue. We came to take a tour as a potential venue. Our guide was Katie and she was super nice and helpful. She answered all my questions. They were having a wedding so we got to see how it was being set up!

This fine establishment was one of the best surprises of my life. As a gift from a dear friend, the staff was inviting and admirable. The Ice House was wonderful and the service, food and experience of their 6 course meal with wine pairing is unforgettable! I plan on making Antrim 1844 a yearly and highly anticipated seasonal destination. Truly one of the best Maryland offers.

The service and food were amazing, would definitely go back again. Very reasonably priced for the experience.

This boutique hotel is in the heart of Taney town, MD. It's got a campus of lovingly restored old houses chock full of period details. A lavish rose garden, large banquet hall and attentive staff make it a good evening venue. The only bad thing I can say is that there was ample evidence of mice.

Birthdays, weddings, and just dinners
I took my husband there last night for his 70 bday/ retirement dinner
The first course… appetizers… very disappointing and they should have been embarrassed to serve them
A cracker with hummus
A goat cheese fig tart
A few other non memorable items… but the last was one blackberry with a quarter of a strawberry? Wtf…
went into the dining room where I ordered a Pinot Grigio… came out of the bottle very dark but I took a little sip. Totally undrinkable
She did give me a different kind
I always get the filet which was cooked perfectly… sides were ok
Dessert choices were a little off as well
I don't know who planned that menu… especially the appetizers but for 72$ per person. My expectations were certainly not met… especially since I have eaten there so many times before.

My wife and I stayed and are at the Antrim for a night away. The restaurant is a little pricey but a nice way to splurge. The rooms are spectacular and with the amenities, high tea and breakfast the costs are very reasonable.

The staff was tremendous. They were attentive and not intrisive. The food was all top notch and so was the atmosphere. Their piano player was unbelievably good.

5th time there and it's always amazing. We also happened to get married there and they make it much easier than most venues. Highly recommended.

First time there, for a wedding. Stayed in an out building in the Warren Room. It has a queen bed and 2 twins in the loft. Great bathroom with jacuzzi and large walk in shower. Next stay will be a room in the main house. Can't wait!

Attended a wedding reception and stayed overnight. A wonderful spot for any momentous occasion. Wonderful rooms and delicious well prepared food along with a courteous helpful staff. Not to mention a lovely setting in a small town.

We had a wedding to attend there the grounds are just beautiful the service and food was great would highly recommend. You need to learn about the history of this place it goes back to the time when slaves were in the underground really interesting.

Beautiful decor. Really feels like you've gone back in time without sacrificing modern amenities. Restaurant is sublime; some of the best meals I've had in my life.

A good friend of mine got married here yesterday, the staff was absolutely incredible to her. The venue is gorgeous and decorated with very beautiful antiques from top to bottom. The meal that was served with her reception was steak and scallops that everyone raves about, I have strict dietary guidelines, they made me the most beautiful veggie stack, it was so delicious I could have licked the plate. If I was considering a venue for my wedding I would absolutely choose this place. Great job guys! Thank you!

The restaurant is good. The wedding accommodations are above average. The rooms are charming and not too bad B and B in nature. But I think a "luxury" hotel has to be in a place you would actually want to stay. Tawneytown is a gas station stop on an ancient highway of war, there is nothing of interest in the town aside from the hotel.

The Antrim is BEYOND 5 stars. My fiancé and stayed there for our 5 year dating anniversary and I have a feeling we will be making this place our go to! We stayed in the Tudor room, which was so comfy and cozy. I could live there! There was white wine, chilled, bottles of water, with ice and delicious chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us when we checked in. Dinner was nothing short of excellent! Every bite was better then the last. Even though the wine list was extensive (and overwhelming), our waitress picked perfect choices. Waking up to a tray of continental breakfast at your door was absolutely perfect. I'm a person that needs coffee first thing and it was yummy! I will recommend this place to everyone! I can't wait to come back.
