Me and my friend stayed there this past weekend. I felt something crawling on me and looked down and saw a bed bug. I got bit by it and put it in tape. I called the front desk and an older man said to a woman "this room is reporting bedbugs. " She said to the man with an attitude "well what do you want me to do? " The maintenance people came and confirmed it was a bedbug. Other people in the hotel confirmed that they had bedbugs a week ago too. They had recently sprayed but I guess this bedbug didn't die yet. They moved us to a different room but the guy on the phone at the front desk was really rude. He never apologized and acted irritated that we brought this issue to his attention (Art was his name) I asked for the owners name and he would not tell me. We left two messages for the owner and the owner has not called us back yet. They did nothing for us and we spent the whole day doing laundry because we didn't want to bring the bedbugs home. On the day that we were leaving when I went to the front desk I showed them where I got bit and the guy just raised his hands in the air as if to say oh well. And then said we need to contact the manager about it. He still didn't say sorry. We were only there for the weekend and now were worrying about having a bedbug problem. Do not stay here. If the owner calls us back and rectifies the situation I will delete this post. But as of yet he has not even contacted us back even though we have left multiple messages. How disappointing : (UPDATE: Art just called to tell us the owner will not be calling us back and tried to give us a free voucher to stay there again. We would never want to stay there again we just want our money back. I will post to every website until the owner calls back. This is rediculous.
