Nice place to stay, centrally located.

Loved our stay there and look forward to going back. Staff was very welcoming and the rooms were cute and rustic.

Just do some research on the community if you're a minority before you decide to go. The staff was fine. Rooms are definitely overpriced though. Pictures online are deceiving. This isn't a 4 star property. Two and half at best. Just a small roadside motel, no frills and awful Wi-Fi. I get that most aren't visiting Deep Creek for the Wi-Fi. Just pointing it out.

Our room needed updated. It was very dark despite us having every available light turned on. The nightstand lamp had a short. There was a large gap in the door that left bugs in. We were invaded by mosquitos spiders and gnats at night. The hose for the shower massage leaked. The mattress sagged and offered no support. For the high price, we expected a lot more.

The room is very clean. The grounds are very well kept. They staff is very friendly. Lovely place.

The lodge atmosphere in the common area is quiet and welcoming, complete with 2 fireplaces and lots of comfortable seating. The game table and cabinet full of games make this quaint place feel like a family cabin in the woods.

The location was great. A suit is not that large and fire place rooms are bigger than the regular rooms. Good service too.

This is a lovely Inn. The furnishings in our room and the common areas were very nice and gave a warm feeling to the place. Everything was clean and well kept. The staff couldn't have been nicer and were so helpful with places to eat and see. Sitting on the outside patio we had a view of the lake. We even had a doe with her fawn visit. Restaurants and activities are nearby but if you want to stay at the Inn there is a nice pool and a fire pit to gather at. I would definitely return to stay again.

The room is actually pretty nice. The bathroom leaves something to be desired. It really needs and a towel organizer and more hooks on the blank wall with the heater. The heater in the bathroom is frightening but apparently is not energized. The kitchenette is perfect and having a fireplace is a nice touch. Put some heat in the floor or elsewhere at the time of the next bath remodel. Hey it’s 2018 how ‘bout some HDTV?

I love the location — a bit off the "main strip" of tourism, but still a 10 minute drive from everything. Rooms are clean and nice. The lounge area is excellent — warm and cozy. Service is always helpful and willing to help.

I enjoyed the place it was cute and quiet. I was just super disappointed that the pool WAS NOT HEATED like advertised on their website and it hasnt been in more than four years. I don’t think it’s okay to keep that on their website especially for people with children going to stay there during a spring month.

If you're looking for a quiet getaway weekend in Deep Creek, this is the place to be. There are plenty of activities and great food in the area. My only regret is not staying longer.

Not very nice. Needs upgraded. No supervision with other guests, especially at the pool.

Attractive rooms, nice porch and location. You are a 5 minute walk from an Uno's, a local bar, movie theater and a small grocery store with a deli that also serves food. There is a McDonald's about 2 minutes in the other direction. And of course this is right off the lake. I didn't stay in a room that has a lake view.

The place need maintenance, the rug on the deck and at the lobby entrance are rotten and stinks. Things like the very aged bathroom and kitchen fixtures, cabinets
, and fans gives you the feel of an old mobile home. The rooms could use a little common sense in the setup. No light in the "Kitchen", bathroom has no counter space for personal items. House keeping never visited our room once during the stay. The lobby is nice and the staff was friendly.

Came here as part of my travel network's package promotion. A nice Inn in a quiet location is the best way to describe it. A short drive to multiple points of interest and a nice staff. Nothing miraculous here, but nothing to turn you away!

Great location, staff is very helpful. Upstairs rooms have a fireplace but no stove, fyi. Pretty good experience all around, only negative is that most of the grills are out of fuel so had to share with another family. Not a big deal, and we got to socialize a bit. The bathrooms are showing their age a bit but are clean and well maintained.

Surprised that it is as well maintained as it is. It's a perfect place for a few families to gather and enjoy this great area, and enjoy the outdoors!

My wife and I stayed last week "Off season" via the TAN plan. Our rate was approximately 10% of the normal "in season" rate. Our room was spacious and immaculate. It was nearly perfectly stocked (no wine glasses), and all of the appliances worked. The grounds, both inside and out were also immaculate and groomed. The staff was extremely considerate of our needs and Cheryl in particular was absolutely wonderful in helping us find local things to do.

My wife and I really enjoyed our short stay this weekend. The room was clean and well appointed. Really liked the suite feel with the kitchen and a little extra wiggle room … Especially since most of our time there was "snowed". Lol. Really enjoyed the common area outside our room with the fireplace and chairs. Perfect place to curl up with a book and a cup of coffee. The only thing keeping me from rating it as a 5 star is the bathroom configuration. I understand this is a remodel of an older inn but having the toilet virtually in the tub was a bit awkward. Overall a beautifully redone old Inn though. We will be back!

Great place for great price!

The inn was very tidy, cozy, and welcoming. The Deep Creek Lake location itself was a wonderful place to visit, even in the winter. Our room, even though it was on the bottom floor, was very roomy and the amenities were plentiful. The staff was very accommodating as I had to move my vacation at the last minute to a later date because of inclement weather. We will return again!

Stayed one night here while in town to do some fishing. The room was spacious and very clean. I didn't really interact with the staff other than checking in, but the experience was pleasant. I didn't catch any fish though…

My girlfriend and I just spent the weekend here and we had a great time. We stayed in the "Double Queen" room which was very clean and comfortable (also surprisingly large). This trip was a bit spur of the moment for us and we ended up unable to find a sitter for our pet cat which turned out to be no problem since there are "pet friendly" rooms available. All of the staff were very friendly, helpful, and courteous. The deck behind the building was really great for sitting outside with a cup of hot chocolate or grilling up a bite to eat on one of the various grills available for residents. Another nice thing about the Inn at Deep Creek is its location. Everything we wanted to do was within a 15 minute drive and it is also within walking distance of a couple plazas in case you want a bite to eat or maybe you forgot your toothpaste. Overall we would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

For the price, these rooms were well suited to our stay while skiing at wisp. The lodge was relatively no thrills (at least during the winter). They have a common area with some games, a tv, and a fireplace. It was a nice place to hang out but felt a bit too public as it was bordered by room entrances. Rooms were comfortable and clean — — but, at least as far as I know, only offer only 2 queens with no king sided beds. In lieu of a continental breakfast, they put out some pre-wrapped snacks to entertain your sugar tooth in the main lobby. (but they stay out all day which is nice). The lodge is about an 8 min drive to the mountain and about a 1 min drive to the closest bar (which you can traverse by foot if you feel up to crossing a minor highway). My main issue is that rooms were oddly placed i. E. You would need to walk outside to get to your room, or your room was facing the common area which might make it noisy for some.

By pure luck we were able to find this Inn at the entrance to Deep Creek. Nice Rooms, well done decore, super clean outdoor pool, a dock, and great service. Thanks to everyone here! This Inn was great! Thanks to the Staff for a great short stay, we'll be back.

I travel several times a month and stay at many hotels. I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were great, staff went out of there way to help me with printing and their computer. I definitely want to come back in the summer.

Under new management, the Inn at Deep Creek has done a wonderful job of renewing itself. The staff was nothing short of excellent in their service. Though it is still under going transformation, you can obviously see throughout the Inn that they are certainly putting their best foot forward to accomodate their guests. I applaud their every effort in trying to make guests feel welcome and more at home, everything that a good Inn should be. We look forward to returning soon, and recommend this establishment to anyone looking forward to a pleasant stay on the lake. Bravo.

I made a reservation on monday for the coming Saturday Night. Called back the next day to cancel and was told I would have had to notify within 15 days to avoid losing the entire deposit. Unreal. I explained that it had only been 1 day since I made the reservation and that most hotels have something like a 48 hour cancellation policy. They never told me the cancellation policy up front. I intend to fight this, but you other folks — Beware.
