This place has been rode hard and put up wet. What once may have been a hotel design forward looking place is now suffering. No luggage carts in the lobby. Carpet dirty throughout. Furniture chipped, finishes hammered by use or abuse, hard to differentiate. Maybe it's the management. Maybe it's the ownership. Maybe it's me.

The room was basic and the bed was uncomfortable. The hotel charged my credit card a fee, even though upon check out there was no fee on the receipt. That should not have happened as I prepaid through my travel website. I contacted the front desk after I discovered the charges and they disregarded my concerns. I asked to talk to the manager and I was transferred to her voicemail and she has yet to return my phone call. I expected better service from the Marriott International brand. I do not recommend this hotel!

Extremely friendly and professional staff. I was greeted 3 times walking in by the friendly staff. Only one small issue was that my room had a very mild odor. The bar keep was hilarious! She was a joy to be around. The hotel staff gives you a menu to order food for delivery from a place called Ficini Wings and Pizzeria. I had the buffalo wings and cheeseburger & they were delicious! It’s unfortunate that this hotel is in the location it is, because a normal hotel this poorly kept would fail anywhere except by a busy airport. The bed was comfortable and the customer service was great, however you can always tell the quality of an establishment by its cleanliness, and this hotel is not clean at all. There are numerous stains in the carpets and on the walls. The room I stayed in was dirty when I came in and the shower head did not work. The towels reeked and had stains on them. My room was not cleaned each day, rather the same gross towel I balled up was re-folded and placed on the rack. The shower head was never changed despite the front desk reassuring me that “engineering” would be up to fix it each day I brought it up. I ended up removing the shower head so I could take a shower. It was never put back on because there was simply no attention paid to the room each day aside from re-folding everything. I doubt they cleaned the shower either because the shower head remained in the same corner of the shower every day I was there. It really is a shame that this hotel is operated in this manner. A good property manager could really transform this place if they put an emphasis on cleanliness.

I wanted to like this hotel I really did awesome location (landed, deboarded, rental car and in our room in 60 minutes). But it was a hotel that had minimum construction to "update" the hotel. Most fixtures and lighting hardware were not touched. Heck even BOTH elevators were out of order. Would not stay again.

I would not recommend this place to anyone! It was my first time to the East Coast & I booked a 2-night stay via a 3rd party reservation 3 months in advance as it was a brief visit in attempting to stay before departing on a cruise out of Baltimore the 3rd day. A week before I was to arrive, I phoned the hotel directly to state I had a slight change in my travel plans & wanted them to hold my reservation since I couldn't ck in til the 2nd night. I was already willing to take the loss of my 1st night expenses. The front desk said I needed to contact reservations. I called reservations who said I needed to call the front desk. Anyway, I was told they would make a note in my reservation & hold the room. Fast forward to the day I was to ck in… I called to verify that the reservation was still available & discovered it had been cancelled! When I arrived at the hotel, no one knew what was going on & furthermore, management wasn't available. Finally, I did get to speak with a mgr but ended up being charged a 3rd night & they had one room left! Then there was no soap available & they said they were out in addition to no water pressure in the shower. Anyway, I never got an apology. I fought for 3 weeks to finally receive a refund for my extra night.

We didn't stay at aloft but we parked there while we were away on vacation. The staff were very helpful, polite and had great customer service. In particular, the shuttle service driver Melvin was really great. He was very polite, funny and charismatic. Definitely would recommend parking your car at Aloft if you are flying out of bwi.

I would give it no stars of I could. I flew in for the weekend and prepaid for my reservation. Upon my arrival I was informed after I checked in that they are having issues with their key system and that one of the employees will have to escort me to my room and unlock the door. No big deal especially when I asked the young lady about how long before they will have the issue resolved and she replied a few minutes or so. I figured I could relax a little and then head back out. Two hours later I try to call the front desk and the phone doesn't work so I come down to the front desk and wait in line to speak with the manager. As I begin to Express my frustration with being stuck in my room he replies that I am free to go wherever and someone will open my room door for me whenever I needed. Ummm who spends their money at a hotel and have to be let in their room every time they want to leave? He did give me the phone number to the property group to call and see if they will compensate me at a later date. Needless to say I am not staying and will get a full refund.

Worst hotel I have ever had the displeasure of working with. Horrible customer service. Horrible management. Does not care about customers. Not accommodating at all. Dirty lobby. Zero frills rooms. Lightbulbs out in bathrooms. Won't let you check in at 3 pm. Dysfunctional front desk. Stay far away.

After trying to book a hotel room, I had an extended conversation with the individual at the front desk. After talking with a female earlier who was very receptive and knowledgeable trying to get my bags stored while I went to go and look for something to eat with my family. I return to the desk later only to discover that this particular Hotel was not the one we booked but the one next door. Front desk Personnel were very very courteous and helpful.

The location is very convenient with nearby hotels, restaurants, movie theater and as well as the airport. The rooms have your basic necessities with a slightly modern decor. Just enough space to be comfortable. The service was adequate but they can improve their customer service tremendously. Food was subpar and overpriced for what they served. There's a bar, Indoor pool and gym which is nice. There are also shuttles available to the airport. The overall experience was good but with little improvements could of been way better.

Fast & free Wi-Fi, Free bottled water and coffee in each and every room, the bathrooms are simply amazing! Ergonomic workstation, indoor/outdoor temp controlled pool and hot tubs, Mini-fridge, 42" LCD TVs, and even an Upscale Bliss spa! Also, this BEAUTIFUL hotel is located less then 5 minutes from the Baltimore/Washington BWI Airport! Overall, amazing experience at an amazing price! They Also have several different meeting spaces available a pon request! Thank you Aloft!

Service is great. However room could use some deep cleaning. The bathroom door was very dirty.

The hotel was very nice and modern with many modern hook ups for TV and phone. The front desk staff, however, didnt listen and ended up charging our credit card twice. They were never rude they just seemed to be in a rush. Otherwise, very nice and good location.

Beautiful hotel with gorgeous views of the inner harbor. The staff is all very friendly & helpful. My husband & I have stayed here 3 times for special occasions (honeymoon, babymoon, & a romantic getaway) & love it more each time. We stayed here over 4th of July & watched the fireworks over the harbor from our hotel room. It was amazing! A great location in walking distance of so many things to do/see. We will definitely be returning when we find our next excuse for a getaway :)

Had a pleasant stay, before leaving for my trip. I had to wake up very early in the morning to make my flight. They made it easy to check out, and there was coffee made and ready in the lobby when I was going.

The staff there was very friendly and courteous. Every shuttle driver I encountered with impressed me. All 4 of them. The front desk gals and the auditor. . Thanks for such a great stay!

The rooms are great. They are modern and clean. The customer service at the front desk is subpar. They do not smile or greet you. They do not dress professionally. They finish their text messages on their phones while you wait for them to acknowledge your presence.

I really enjoyed the loft feel of the hotel, but I was disappointed with the customer service. My 10:50pm flight was cancelled so I called the hotel for a shuttle. The first time I called Dominique? transfers me to the shuttle driver … but the call goes immediately to VM. The second time I call, I try to explain to Dominique that my cell phone is broken and I'm having to borrow a phone each time I call and if he can try to reach the shuttle drive for me. He responds, "No, the shuttle service is a separate operation so you have to keep trying". By this time, it after midnight and the airport is emptying, so I wait for an HOUR at the shuttle pickup zone. No Aloft shuttle. Finally a cab driver reluctantly agrees to take me on a $15 ride that I found out the next morning really should have been $5. I won't be come back here.

This place looks nice, but there was a major issue that caused my lowest score possible. The issue is shuttle service. I was not made aware until 7pm that night that shuttle service is from 4:30a-12:30a. In my reservation I specifically stated we planned to leave at 3a since our flight was at 5a. The fact that my reservation was under "park and fly", you would think they would call me or give me an option to cancel without penalty since their website does not state the late time of shuttle service. Since all the other hotels I've stayed at had 24hr shuttle service, I had no reason to think otherwise. Since no other hotel would let us ride theirs due to insurance reasons (understandable), we were forced to drive ourselves and pay the extra to park at the airport. Even if we could have gotten another hotels shuttle, our flight back is scheduled for 12a arrival, if it was delayed we would be sol. I will never stay here again and I do not recommend it.

These are the friendliest most personable staff members of any hotel I have ever stayed at. From the shuttle drivers to the bartender and cooks to the desk staff. All Of them are amazing and engaging. You come as a guest and you leave as a true d and family member.

This was exactly what I needed after a mishap at the airport. The room was a bit smaller than a standard hotel room, but the decor is cute and stylish and I was quite comfortable. It had all the basic amenities that I needed, including a mini-fridge. I appreciated that they have a little connector station that apparently allows you to plug your laptop or other device to view on the TV — I wish more hotels did this! It's a bit far from restaurants or other places I would want to visit, but that's what you get when staying next to the airport. Overall — great value!

Had scheduled a flight to Prague that left out of Baltimore, scheduled the flight into Baltimore for the day before to hang out with a college buddy of mine. Checked into the hotel at 1am and checked out at 11am so my stay was relatively brief, so take this review with a grain of salt. I'll start off with the negatives: Everything was about as you'd expect for a bargain stay (chose this one due to the price), with the carpet showing visible signs of wear, drapes frayed, etc. Overall it isn't bad and again, for the price it's about what you should expect. The one king-sized bed was very soft (although somewhat short for me, and I'm barely 5'11" so taller travelers should be aware that their legs will probably hang off of the end) and I fell asleep very quickly. I did catch some noise from the other rooms but only the loudest noises got through which was fine. Didn't affect my sleep at all. Positives: The layout was really neat, kind of like a studio apartment with a dividing wall in the middle. The bathroom was compact yet I never felt like I was missing anything. They had USB chargers as well as hook ups for all types of devices so you can stream pretty much anything that has a video out. The check in process was a breeze and generally everything about the stay was effortless. It was well worth the price I paid ($80 for one night) and given the chance I would definitely stay there again. The negatives weren't that pronounced and the positives more than made up for them.

Do not stay here. I have stayed at many aloft hotels and generally had very positive experiences. I arrived at this hotel at 3am and found an empty front desk. When the attendant arrived 10 minutes later, he didn't welcome me or apologize for the wait. I said I needed to check in and he said, "You got ID on you? " While he was checking me in, I told him I didn't appreciate the wait to check in. He said that I was wrong and that the cameras would prove he wasn't away from his desk for 10 minutes. It was the rudest "welcome" I have ever gotten at a place where I am paying to be. Room was fine as usual, but I was only there for about 6 hours so the poor customer service made quite a bad impression.

No! Won't visit again. Towel shelf hanging of wall. The indoor pool, which I spent hours looking for our kids to enjoy as swim was not up to par. Pool didn't look pretty clean & inviting. It was freezing cold and very dingy. NO Continental Breakfast. Seemed impersonal, cold. When I stay away from home; I want to feel Welcomed!

Had a very short stay, but the staff we interacted with was quite friendly. The establishment was clean and modern. And the room and bed was pretty comfortable. Would recommend.

The staff was incredible, very nice and helpful. The hotel though, was not very clean and the first room we were assigned was musty. The second room was a bit better, but still not great. It is not family friendly at all because of the way the rooms are set up. The outside of the hotel is very pretty and will kept.

Very good hotel with excellent public transport connections. The staff from main entrance to everyone was very pleasant happy that I stayed here I like the hours they have for breakfast, I loved how our beds were made for the two days that we stayed we needed some extra blankets the ladies got it to us really fast I was amazed. Rooms where neatly clean. Overall good value for money. Would visit again when I travel to MD.

I was disgusted with this hotel. The carpet was filthy, the tile floor was mo better ĺf you take a shower, there is no bathmat and since the toilet is right next to the shower, and I mean next to it, you have water everywhere and a mess. The staff didn't even look at you when you checked in, or asked a question. The ice is only on the first floor, in very small bags, that you carry to room. I am a business million mileage traveler on two airlines and this hotel ranks among my worst stays. Oh, it is modern, and shiny in the lobby area and not in the guestrooms. Buyer beware.

My husband and I stayed here with our son for 3 night. We were pleasant surprise by this one! The hotel was very nice, clean and had some great amenities, especially the pool. Our room was large that expected, larger enough we could set up a small kids tent as ours toddlers"room" during our stay. We have family in the area and I look forward to the opportunity to stay here again.

Great decor. The noise level when you enter was so much that I wanted to leave. It does not offer the comfort that one desires when one stays away from home. If you want food you have to have it delivered from an outside source. Not a place I would stay again. The beds were not comfortable.

This hotel gets 2 stars for courteous staff. The rest of our visit was mediocre. The place is FILTHY. The same trash was in the elevators and hallways the entire 4 nights we were there. We extended our stay by one night and the front desk didn't tell housekeeping, so when we returned at the end of the day all of our stuff had been cleaned out of our room. We got most of it back, but the housekeeping lady told us she had to get it out of the trash. It seems like if housekeeping sees a room full of stuff, maybe they should check with the front desk instead of throwing people's belongings away. I am so disappointed in this hotel.

Management! Wow! Customer service was exemplary! Jamal, Charles and a young lady whose name I am unable to recall (forgive memory) and Nina are all assets to Aloft! This was not my first Aloft visit, however this location was new and we were In town for the sad loss of a family member. Jamal immediately addressed our issue with one room and provided another room, where there was a safety glitch (no issues fortunately) with the next room and the staff once again accommodated us! Jamal was attentive and made every effort to rectify our issues! Upon our checkout, Nina conveyed that the staff had all shared our issues with her and she, too, accommodated us! In a time when great customer service is becoming rare, these staff are an asset to the Aloft Hotels Company! Thank you for making our sad time better! Many blessings to you all!

Had a great experience. Had an awful day at airport with flight cancelled and waited hours for reschedule. Had my toddler with me. I was welcomed to aloft by a very friendly manager. Offered us waters as soon as we came in. Asked if there way anything else he could provide to make our stay easier, seeing as our bags had been shipped to our destination but we were stranded. We only stayed for a couple of hours but this type of customer service should be modeled for others.

This is my second time here. I first stayed here in early April. The staff that I've encountered have made my stay that much better. The hotel could be a hole in the wall and the staff would just mask that. Everyone is super helpful and most carry a smile on their faces whenever I see them. The location is awesome … It's less than 5 min from the airport. What's great about this hotel is that you don't hear the planes going or coming. If you do its not a bothersome sound. I can sleep easy here.

Pretty cool place and atmosphere. It's close to the rental car station, prices were reasonable and the people were nice. The room was nice and modern.

Front desk staff were very irritable during check in. There had been a singles convention the day before apparently so there may have just been a lot going on, but it was definitely off-putting. We were able to check in early though which helped out a lot. We stayed as guests as part of a wedding package and we were supposed to receive vouchers for food at the hotel as part of the rate we paid, but never received them. At one point during the check in process, one of the girls at the reception desk asked if we had received our gift bags as part of the wedding package, and when we replied that we had not, she made a comment to the effect that she had better get them for us right away before the brides mother yelled at her again. Perhaps an understandable statement in all fairness, but it was wildly unprofessional Rooms were good overall. I didn't love that the bathroom had a sliding door that didn't quite shut, but that seemed to be more a design flaw than anything else. The room was clean and my only real complaint was that the only coffee available was decaf. There did not appear to be free Wi-Fi, though we were busy enough that we didn't put a great deal of time into figuring it out. Decent stay all in all, but we definitely did not feel welcomed at the hotel, and would not stay again.

The carpet coming apart in the middle of the floor. They patched a whole but the wallpaper was falling off in the bed room area. There was gashes in the wall needed to be repaired. The shower had leftover soap that had dripped onto the shower floor. The toilet was not clean. The bar didn't have any customer but for some reason the bar area was dirty and counter was sticky. I ordered the slider burgers. They came out dry with no flavor. Bartender didn't offer any side for and had to ask for condiments. And to top it off didn't ask if I even wanted a drink. I went to the Hilton across the way to have a better selection. Not staying there again. You pay 130 dollars for nothing.

It's just a nice place to live oh it's a hotel so that tells u even more that it's a nice place cause I thought I was home lol. Good relaxing bed a dream shower nice tv. It has it all and much more : so yes go out and take a trip to the nearest ALOFT Hotel and enjoy …

Good location close to the airport. Staffs are not very familiar with SPG membership. The way breakfast is served should be improved.

DO NOT STAY HERE! So, I read the reviews after I had already booked my room and just hoped that upon checking in that the hotel would be better. Well, it wasn't. I hope when you read this you consider staying somewhere else. I give 2 stars because the front desk staff was very nice and helpful. BUT ANYWAYS, the room: At first glance it wasn't bad. It lived up to the modern reputation of the hotel but, underneath the cool look was the complete filth of the hotel. The grout in the bathroom had obviously never been clean and was filled with dirt and hair. The shower itself was in pretty good shape but there was tape holding the glass window in place. I also had no wash cloths and half of the towels had A LOT of stains. The bed was the worst though. I pulled the sheets back to goto bed to find stains, dirt, and rips. I called for new sheets so I could remake the bed. I pulled off the sheets and the mattress pad was wrong side out and it was so nasty. It was late at this point so I changed the sheets and dealt with it but I checked this morning and moved to another hotel.

Toilet stopped working, the engineer was gone and I was stuck with a broken toilet over night. The AC didn't work, was 78 in the room the entire night. Didn't sleep well. The glass mirror at the sink was shattered at the top left and the wallpaper was coming off the wall in the bathroom. Seriously I don't let things get to me but the first 2 threw me over the edge. If I could get a refund I would.

The room was hospitable, the service was great at the hotel, but the shuttle took an hour to show up from the airport. My flight was delayed so all I wanted to do was sleep. I called a half hour into waiting and was assured she was on the way. 15 minutes later the staff called and assured me she was just around the bend, then once more because she didn't see me. I was outside the whole time and she didn't show. Finally she did and I get to the hotel and have a fantastic time from there on out.

The hotel seemed like a very nice place at first. The lobby had a very cool vibe and the staff was very friendly. The room, however, was not so nice. The room itself was very small and the view outside the window was obstructed by a metal roof. There was a couch that was placed under the TV… which did not seem like the best place for watching TV, but with the size of the room I guess they didn't have many other placement choices. There was only one roll of toilet paper and they did not provide any hand soap for the bathroom. Also there was only one machine in the lobby for the entire hotel and the room did not have a microwave. It seemed like they were doing a lot to cut costs. It wasn't a terrible experience, but I was not impressed.

The room was very spacious, stocked with all necessities, quiet and clean. I had a problem worth the TV and a tech arrived within 10 minutes to fix the problem. Come to find out, the TV had been unplugged by the previous guest. I also think the bathroom light had blown before my arrival because that doesn't work either. There are very big mirrors in the bathroom which I loved. The hotel itself was clean and the decor very modern. The only problem I had was finding parking. If you need to leave early in the morning, don't expect to park where you were before. Your spot WILL be taken!

Unfortunately this is one of the worst hotel stay I've had. When I first checked in they neglected to tell me that there wasn't any running water in the building. The Wi-Fi was out for most of my stay and the refrigerator did it work. The decor does look nice and updated but the systems and amenities are very faulty.

I was impressed by the quality of the place, especially for the low price. It was nice to experience something different. We used the stay and park package and got 14 free days of parking and an airport shuttle. We checked in at 10:30. The woman at the front desk was pleasant, and cordial. She was very helpful. The roo. Was clean and looked just like the room they have on their site. The only drawback to the room was the lack of space for our belongings. There are no dressers, or closets. There is a shallow rack that can hold a few things. I don't recommend buying food and drinks here. They are overpriced. Fortunately there is a 7-Eleven and Royal Farms near by. We will definitely book again, when necessary.

Great place if you're stuck in layover. Room and bed were clean. It has a modern sleek style which is nice. I took away a point because the evening staff is not helpful compared to the morning staff. They have a mini store selling snacks, sandwiches, and drinks. And they also have laundry machines but no quarter machine. And the staff was unhelpful in procuring quarters.

Nice rooms. Very clean. It's also really affordable for what you get. Aloft hotels are recently renovated hotels but with minimal service. There is no restaurant or concierge. There is a small counter where you can buy breakfast but You can get much better outside of the hotel.

The staff was very helpful and quick however the room we got first smelled like smoke. But the other room was just fine. Great price though.

The location was BWI airport aloft hotel. I really liked the rooms there and couldn't ask for anything better at that price. Although, I found the lack of sufficient napkins and soaps. Also, the water in the shower in morning was cold. Besides that, it was a wonderful hotel.

This was the most disgusting and deplorable condition I have ever experienced from a hotel. The lobby was decent. The chairs and other furnishings were stained but I get that it's a common area. This is a pet friendly hotel which was evident by the pet stained carpet in our room (628). The carpet was filthy dirty. The bathroom floors were also dirty. The shower was dirty and dingy. The toilet had not been cleaned. There was a lady bug infestation. I couldn't wait to go to bed to hurry to get to the next day for check out. As I prepared for bed there were 2 small crawling black bugs. Called to front desk and we were moved to the ajoining room (626). This room was just as disgusting. We opened the door between the rooms and there was cookie and other food crumbs. The floors, shower and toilet was just as dirty. Wish that I had read the reviews before choosing this place for our stay.

This location is a JOKE! They lack Customer Service skills from the GM down to the front desk. As I cannot say all their employees share this trait, I can say the GM Claire and Orlando certainly need training. I stayed at this location on 10/14, they charged my debit even though the room was paid for in full. On 10/16 I was told by Orlando that the refund was issued and that it would take 5-7 business days. Well here we are 3 weeks later and still no refund. I called last week and spoke to Orlando AGAIN and after being put on hold for 9 minutes I was instructed to call back the next day and speak to Claire. I explained I should not have to call back, that Claire should call me. I gave my number and it is now 1 week later and still have not received my refund or a call back from Claire. ****do not leave the hotel until you are sure your card is not charged for a stay that is already paid for!

The staff were amazing! The man that's over the shuttle was very knowledgeable about the area and he, my husband, and I had great conversation. He made sure we were taken care of the entire time. They made our bad day turn into a wonderful, memorable evening. The only issues I saw were some maid services issues but they were minor and corrected for us. Hands down, we would stay here whenever we will be in this area. The staff definitely made the difference, however, I also loved the architecture of the hotel and our room. Thank you, Aloft staff.

A few oddities — you must go to the lobby for ice and refreshments. I've stayed multiple times, once there was a huge crack in the bathroom mirror, but I called the front desk and there was no charge to my bill. It was always clean when I stayed, with fresh sheets. Also I was able to plug the peripherals I was bringing for my meeting into the television there. It also has HDMI so if you were on staycation, you could bring your Apple TV or Roku. An average hotel with a refreshingly hip decor, but not as nice as other Alofts.

Location is fine. The interior seems to be beat up and not to the standards of other Alofts that I have stayed at. Wallpaper peeling in the room and rust stains in the bathroom. Everything felt barely held together.

This hotel is not at ALL what you see on the web site! I was just their on June 27, 2015 Parking is Absoluty terrible! The crowd at this hotel is young, that explains why they have a undercover cop on site, an hour after checking in someone pulled the fire alarm, the beautiful pool you see on the web site is DIRTY! And vey small, I found dry blood on my comforter so I guess the sheets aren't cleaned after the guest and it took the staff about an hour to replace it! The walk in showers are so small the cable is BS! I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay at this place.

I have stayed in several aLoft's this is the worst one ever. Rooms are tiny, shower was tiny, feels rundown and sad. Starwood needs to shut this down and start over cause this is an embarrassment to the Brand.

Damaged fixtures and under cooked food are enough to know I will not return.

The room was clean although the bed had seen some better days yet was still comfortable. Staff was accommodating and the stay was pleasant.

Let me start off by stating that this was a horrible choice, Its very blah here, Ive stayed at several modern hotels and this one is by far the worse. I normally do not leave comments so people can have their own experiences, but you need to be aware of what you will be spending your money on. The staff is very blah (no warm greeting, no smiles etc). The only thing that is complimetary is parking and Wi-Fi (great), I had to change my room due to the wall paper peeling, carpet being dirty, dust on the phone as if it had not been used in years, and televison not working so on, and so on. Im normally not a complainer but I was very disapointed. They say this type of hotel is for the younger crowd, Im under 30 so with that being said, I was booked to stay for a week, that turned into one night because I changed Hotels.

Rooms have sex appeal. This hotel is definitely for a younger crowd.

I stayed one night in a double queen room, the room was clean, I loved the shower and the fact that it had shampoo and shower gel dispensers. The beds were clean and comfortable, I heard no noise throughout the night and the front desk staff were very helpful and patient considering I had issues with my company credit card. I utilized the pool which was also clean, quiet and enjoyable. I will be staying at this location again in the near future.

Just cked in and I already wanna leave! This place is absolutely filthy! I don't think anyone has vacuumed in years! This will be the last time I let my husband pick the hotel.

I want to start by saying that Jasmine, at the check in desk, was the best thing about this hotel. She was very helpful and the shuttle employees, were so sweet and nice. I had a couple of issues with this hotel however, that will make me not recommend it to anyone. First, we were accidentally charged an additional $64.30 for no reason. It was a mistake, and I had to contact Claire-the supervisor, to fix. Second, the staff was playing pool while guests were waiting their turn-and they continued playing! It's incredibly unprofessional for employees in uniform to play pool in front of guests, and then to continue playing even though they could obviously see we were waiting for our turn. Thirdly, the pool stunk of chlorine that none of us got in. Fourthly, we had to replace the batteries on the control because they were old and didn't really work. Most of the staff was awesome, but my experience there was unnecessary-especially for the price. I am disappointed because the hotel is beautiful, and I had higher expectations but even though I complained to the supervisor, Claire, not much more was done to regain my confidence as a customer.

I checked out from this hotel earlier today. I wanted a little get away without breaking my pockets. The decor is what drew me to Aloft. Checking in, they originally gave me the wrong room (which I should have kept only due to location). When we walked in the room, I noticed they gave me a King instead of 2 queens. I called the front desk and they promptly fixed it, and even offered to bring the room keys up to where we were. Once we got in the room, everything was okay. There was *some* discoloration in some parts of the carpet, but it looked like it was caused from some sort of cleaning agent they used. Realize that the hotel is pet friendly, so they would have to clean up after them somehow. Nonetheless, the layout of the room was nice, they already had extra pillows above the closet and room service come around about 3 times to see if you want your room "refreshed. " I ended up just asking for extra towels and they left it on the door so they wouldn't disturb us. Sound: Our room was located right above the public area they have next to the pool, so we could hear people outside. We were on the 3rd floor in 311. Now the original room was 622 and the short amount of time I was there, I didn't hear a peep. As I've seen in other reviews, I suggest staying in rooms higher up in the hotel. It didn't help that there were kids there so they were running from their room to the elevator to swim. Value: I booked the room on the site and I believe it was $79 a night.

Facility did not seem clean, breakfast was not very good. Have had much better at Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton. Maid service did not leave clean towels or restock in-room coffee service. Hallways were dirty. Needed to be vaccumed. On a positive note, the gym was well equipped with cardio equipment, dumb bells, and circuit system.

This hotel was absolutely disgusting! I switched rooms twice, and the third room was finally clean. Would never stay here again. Internet was horrible. Front desk was rude. Calling in they were rude. Miserable experience.
