Review of Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Salisbury 2*

Long Post Alert. So this was my room at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Salisbury!. I 1st asked the front desk clerk if we can get new linen. Mind you, she comes in the room on a personal call using every profanity known to man. After the bed is changed, we check the rest of the room and find one disgusting thing after another. So I kindly ask for another room. The front desk clerk tells me she needs to call her manager 1st. She goes in the back to call the GM (Anne Webster), she comes back and proceeds to tell me that we have to leave the hotel. When I asked why, the front desk clerk tells me that we have too many complaints. I then ask the clerk to help me understand what is going on, she says it's all falls on the GM (Anne Webster). At this point we were on the phone with IHG Rewards, the front desk clerk then comes to me and says "I asked you to leave and since you haven't complied, I'm going to call the cops" I then say do what you must, but im at least going to make a complaint. The front desk clerk begins to catch an unnecessary attitude. I tell her that I have been respectful the whole time and that her attitude is unwarranted. She tells me that I haven't seen an attitude yet. Thankfully my mother raised me better than hers did, because I kept it professional. Thankfully another worker was there and tells her that she can't call the cops while a guest is on the phone with IHG Corporate. Now mind you when I was checking in, there was another African American woman with a police escort off the premises because her room was dirty. I don't know if this is a race issue, (the front desk clerk was white) but 2 black ppl being kicked out of a hotel because we were put into dirty rooms. This isn't adding up, how is it our fault that our room is dirty. Holiday Inn Express IHG Hotels & Resorts.
