Received a spacious room. The drain in our shower didn't seem to work. Breakfast was great! Lots of options, and the location was close to all the important parts of town.

My family and I came to participate in the MD Savage Race on May 5th and we choose to stay at the Holiday Inn in Chestertown. The begin, the hotel staff was very accommodating and worked with our special requests throughout the trip! A special shout out to the Manager Justin for allowing us to return to our room on a late checkout to wash all the mud and such off before having a 4 hour drive back! This was despite having all rooms booked for that Saturday evening due to a wedding party. This alone shows that every customer matters! The hotel was clean and the room was more than enough to sleep 4 adults and a child comfortably. The breakfast was more than your standard danish and toast. My 7 year old and I were amazed by the mini-pancake machine! A hot breakfast with a variety of items is available! We were all more than satisfied! The pool was closed for renovations… so I can’t comment on that. The front desk also made great suggestions on where to eat! But if we are in that area again, I would definitely return to this Holiday Inn for a second stay!

Great breakfast, great service, pretty good rooms one of the better hotels I have been too.

The room was clean and the staff was nice, but if you are hoping to get a good night's sleep, it won't happen here. The walls are paper thin. We could hear every word of conversation from the next room over and they were talking at normal volume.

This place is in a nicely little town and quite easy to get to. Good accommodations, good service, great jumping off point for local extreme obstacle course races held in kennedyville or just exploring the rural area around it. Beautiful countryside within minutes of the hotel itself.

Everything was fine. Good quality and service. Just not a 5-star amenities hotel like a resort facility on a beach.

Holiday Inn Express has been very consistent in my experience. This one is nice, as well. Staff are more helpful and friendly than other locations, which have never been a problem. Clean room, attentive staff, clean breakfast serving area, nice variety of hot breakfast items and breakfast breads, as well as yogurt & cereal. Room smells good. I would definitely, highly recommend this location to a friend!

The staff here is so friendly, but I really wanted the hotel to be cleaner. The common areas were quite nice, but the room left a lot to be desired. There was a used band aid on the door, popcorn and animal crackers littered the floor. The room clearly wasn't vacuumed between guests. It was late, and we didn't want to wake the baby to move rooms, so we picked up ourselves. Manager was supposed to call but never did. Overall, comfortable.

So sad to say this but worst experience I've EVER had with a hotel. I'm honestly shocked at how the General Manager Karen Cristy spoke to a potentional customer
I have been calling for weeks trying to book slots for my wedding. I could not get the manager to call me back and was not receiving the email they were supposed to send (multiple times). Finally, I walked in today to resolve everything and she wouldn't even come out of her office. She then calls me 20 minutes after I leave to tell me if I'm so disappointed with my service I should use another hotel and hangs up
How is this woman employed in a customer service position?

I love the location its quiet and has many nice restaurants. Also the rooms are nice and clean, service is exalent and pet friendly.

Customer service. I was also cursed out my the manager. I was informed though that she is fairly new, so all is forgiven. It is a beautiful hotel.

Convenient to town, plenty of parking. Clean rooms, a little loud from hallway noise. Breakfast isn't fancy but nice to have some options.

Rooms were clean and the breakfast was good. They have an automatic pancake machine. They pillows were really soft and very confrontable. Plus free Wi-Fi for guest.

It's very nice. Spacious rooms, well equipped with refrigerator, coffee maker, etc. Nice large screen TV. Beds are very comfy, if you like firm. Breakfast was adequate. Enough variety, decent quality. Rooms are a bit pricey.

Stayed here for a wedding that was happening at the Great Oak Club. Our stay in general was pretty good. We had no issues. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was spacious and looked pretty new. We asked for a crib, which was provided and it worked out great. We used the pool twice. It was clean and the perfect size. They need some better pool towels though. Ones provided were very small. Breakfast is provided but it's not very good. It's​ a decent selection but the quality is lacking. Coffee was decent. Again, overall our stay was pretty great. Only minor negatives. If we're ever in the area again, I think we'd definitely stay here again.

The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chestertown offers comfortable rooms at a great location, just a couple of miles from the center of town. Also nearby there's a grocery store, a pharmacy and some restaurants. They also offer AAA rates which make it pretty competitive. Recommended.

We had a great stay while we were in town for Downrigging Weekend. The hotel and our room was spotless, the staff friendly and obviously take pride in their work and their workplace. We have a family member with food allergies so always have to travel with food in tow, even for short stays, and we were especially appreciative of the immaculate little fridge/freezer and microwave in our room. It's little details like that that make traveling less challenging for those with food allergies. We'll be back!

Worst place to make a reservation. I called to cancel my reservation 5 minutes after my partner made the reservation. Hotel wants to charge whole reservation amount. Unbelievable. Who is the manager?

I am terribly disappointed in the management of this hotel. I have been trying for a month or more to set up rooms for my wedding guests and have had an impossible time trying to get ahold of the group manager for sales who also happens to be the GM. Unfortunately I will be going to a different hotel.

The Holiday Inn Express Hotel in Chestertown, Maryland was perfect for the visit I had to this town. The staff was accommodating and friendly. The arrival experience was quick. The location is nearby a supermarket, Pharmacy, and a few fast food establishments. And also it is within 6 minutes from the center of Chestertown. Breakfast at the Holiday Inn Express hotels is usually very nice, with those wonderful cinnamon rolls, bananas to take with you and very satisfying coffee. Truthfully, I had a very pleasant experience at this hotel. I would definitely recommend it.

Comfortable beds. Good experience. Not the best Wi-Fi.

Staff was courteous and helpful. First room I was assigned didn't have the bed made so they upgraded me to a king suite!

Miss Kim at the front desk was the absolute best person ever. She was extremely helpful and very sweet! The room was amazing with very comfortable beds and pillows. VERY CLEAN! We WILL be returning!

We are a local shuttle service we do special events doctors appointments airport runs we are 24 hour rain snow or bad weather. We do not shut down we are finally drivers clean cars pretty much if you have somewhere to go we will take you our prices are two dollars a mile tween 6 AM and 10 PM after 10 PM we go up to three dollars a mile 6am we take cash or credit cards contact number443-822-8309 thank you can't wait to hear.

Everytime I go to Chestertown I stay here. It's never a disappointment because they allow me to bring my dog.
