We were in town for a wedding. Beds were so comfy. Pillows also. Super clean rooms. Friendly staff. (Special thanks to Daniel who took our pictures). And used fitness center both days to keep up with work outs! Thank you.

What a beautiful, warm filled place to stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful to every need. Frei was so Awesome, love her… would recommend to all, and I will return in the future.

The staff at Inn at the Colonnade has no equal. Friendly and courteous. They go above and beyond. Can't say enough! Rooms are very comfortable. If you are in the Baltimore area for business or pleasure, this is the place to stay.

Came here for a wedding. Very nice hotel and banquet room. Staff was wonderful.

If I could rate 5 stars I would. I have a church (which I haven't been in a while due to my work schedule) that goes here. The place is very nice from the beginning. Note: This is not a permanent spot to have church service.

Great location across from Johns Hopkins. Rooms were clean and good size with great air conditioning! But they have lots of problems with the hot water.

I can't speak for the hotel itself, but the clientele really need to gather some patience and understand the world doesn't revolve around them and you can't always get what you want.

Location is nice. It seemed safe and a university is near by. It didn't have as many restaurants in it's vincity as most hotels. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. The rooms were clean, moder but the air conditioning was very loud. Made weird noises throughout the night. Showers water pressure was perfect. Had a balcony which was pretty cool. Parking is dead simple and seemed safe.

Nice rooms, fantastic staff. Food is okay, at best of times, hence the 4 not 5 stars. They really do treat you well.

For me the best part was being right across the street from Johns Hopkins. The rest of the hotel was adequate. Rooms were clean and staff very friendly.

What a great place to live! Or to visit! One of the oldest Condos in Baltimore City with great views and colonial autmosophere!

A small mistake ended up costing me over 100 dollars. I accidentally left my suit in my room after already leaving Baltimore, and after the anxious next few days of me checking in with them, they were finally able to let me know they had it and would be able to ship it back. I was relieved, at least until I got the invoice! They overnight shipped this thing in an oversize box, something I neither wanted or expected, given the fact that I told them there was no particular urgency except that I wanted to know it had been found. The invoice was 110 dollars, which really hurt me as someone still in college who was visiting for grad school. Don't get me wrong — the hotel itself was nice, and it was my mistake original, but it spiraled and the whole experience left me with a really sour taste in my mouth.

I attended a 3 day seminar at this location. I did not get a room. The place was nice looking and clean. The customer service (front desk and dining hall workers) was bad. I called this location to inquire about where to park… was put on hold for nearly ten minutes. During the seminar I went to the front desk to ask where vending machines were. I was directed to their lunch buffet with attitudes… I did not want lunch at that time… I wanted some candy. When it was time for lunch… all 3days the waiters had one job to do… bring me a drink. Took forever. Attitudes from them also.

Great for JHU. We parked and walked everywhere, but know that they're is a parking fee at the hotel. Very clean and comfortable, but the room had no drawers. We would stay here again.

Will never stay at this hotel again. As a business traveler it is not conducive to that type of schedule. No breakfast available until 7am and food service/bar closes at 10pm. No coffee service in the morning at all unless you use the coffee maker in your room. I did use it and it leaked all over the counter top and floor. The HVAC sounded like someone rattling a can all night in my ear. After arriving at 10:30 pm it would have been nice to eat and get a descent night sleep. The only positive remark I can make as the room was good sized and clean.

Undergoing renovations but the front desk was terrific and helpful. Rooms are nice and location is terrific. Great place to stay if you're in Baltimore and don't need to be on the Harbor.

The $14.95 breakfast buffet at 710am, eggs we're cold, I was first to try them, they had no taste, too many chives, had to wait till the set up waffle station, bacon was great, sausage look like just heated, no color to them, the home fries looked so bad I didn't even try them, waffle was good, hotel was very clean, $20 night self parking was not worth me using since free street parking across the street was a better option, next time I'll do room service lol.

No hot water in shower in the AM. Run down. Got billed an extra night but received no bill for that night. They won't answer my calls to straighten it out.

Very close to the university, so it is very convenient.

Location and room was wonderful on the whole. The only complaints I had was a shower that didn't get warm at all, and they also had issues with billing for breakfast 2 days in a row.

My boyfriend and I got a Suite and it wasn’t anything more than a regular room, more expensive. It said there was a whirl pool tub and a jetted tub/spa bath… but it was a regular sized bath tub with jets. One fit 1 person. No fridge in our room. The rooms were clean though and the bed and TVs were nice. Other than the tubs and the over pricing for the same quality as a regular room, the stay was nice. Also, the breakfast isn’t complementary, which is a down fall. Food was expensive.

Professional and friendly front desk. I had a package delivered to the hotel and it was held for me as desired. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The only downside is the cost of any meal here. Otherwise high quality.

Great place all around. I live in town & came via my insurance when my home flooded. Nice staff, as everyone says.

Dirty bed sheets, a "shuttle that goes to the BWI airport every 30 minutes" never showed up so I had to take a lyft after waiting 2 hrs in the cold, and the workers don't know what they are doing. I was told that the breakfast and dinner were complementary when I checked in. After I dined, I found out that is NOT the case. Very poor quality overall.

Amazing beautiful, comfortable hotel with Old Word charm. Such a warm sns friendly staff. Very pampering.

Terrible hotel. Dirty, old, and bad staff. I waited 20 minutes to get seated for breakfast, and 20 minutes for the Valet to pick up the phone — he was busy chatting with the lady at the front desk instead of waiting at his desk.

Wonderful staff and a welcoming environment. Great vegetarian options for dinner.

The Wi-Fi is nightmare. Worse, there's no slippery.

If rating my room just for this stay it would be 3 stars. But I’ve stayed before (on the Hilton Honors floor) and the room was much nicer. I think we just got a rather undesired room this time. The sofa sleeper was awful. Very thin, lumpy mattress that was really sagging in the middle. Lighting was insufficient in the bathroom as well as in the seating area. A lamp on the desk/table would help some. I will stay again and recommend though. Become an Honors member and you’ll get better internet and a very nice room.

I attended a theater celebration. The staff was so attentive, the food was fantastic. It was a lovely event.

Upon check-in 10/7/2017 was advised by front desk/night auditor that hotel and Hilton HHonors attempted to contact me multiple times to advise that hotel was sold out. However someone cancelled and one room/last room available. Never received any calls/emails or any notification (s) from hotel or Hilton HHonors. Lobby area is decorated with modern style. Upper floors/hallway not very well designed. Difficult to locate room numbers and it is very confusing (lack of signage). Vending machines are way over priced $3.50 for water/soda/chips/snacks. Arrived very late on Saturday night. My significant other & I were exhausted from our trip and attending our event from the evening. Upon entering our hotel room we noticed a very strong musky odour that filled the room. The entrance floor, including the flooring leading to the bathroom was dirty. Bathroom was not clean at all. Upon pulling the shower curtain to the side I was appalled. I found a dead fly squashed in the shower tub among black marks (which I am assuming was dirt from poor housekeeping). The carpets were not vacuumed and had cookie crumbs/dust/debris from previous guest. The TV remote was no where to be found. I even went downstairs to the front desk to request a new remote however there was no one at the desk (I waited approximately five (5) to eight (8) minutes and just went back upstairs.

Lived here for three nights. Baltimore Museum of Art is near by. Orioles's stadium is also in Baltimore, and it happens to meet the Golden Orioles and Yankee games, and I'm so lucky to have fans. In the vicinity of Hopkins University Gate, there are purple route passing by, hello standing in e33rd St.

Drinks at the bar were good and priced in line with the average price of the city. Bathrooms smelled like stale urine but the bar was nice.

Dinner service was very nice. Slightly small drink portions, but very well crafted. Old 1920s style seating and lounge was very well-kept. Food was very good and well-portioned, expecially the calamari! Can get busy and seating is limited though, but very pleasurable expirence.

Rooms are nice! Front desk is helpful, but seemed under staffed upon check-in. There was a line 5 deep and the help didn't acknowledge any of us while we waited. When no guests were at the front, the help was great. Breakfast was horrible. Though they offer brealfast until 11am, the food at 10am was lack-luster. Soggy bacon, waffle maker broken, burnt waffle inside the waffle iron, glasses for juice were dirty, eggs on english muffins tasted like vinegar. I'm staying here a few nights, but I don't think I'll eat breakfast here tomorrow.

I only attended a working event and did not stay overnight at the hotel. We were in the conference center just off of the lobby. At first I thought I had missed the room but there were signs guiding us there. It was down this long and narrow hallway. The hotel was well lit but everything seemed just a little dated. I know this hotel has been around for quite some time and it is hard to keep up with the ever changing demands. I'm not saying anything was dirty or off putting it was just dated design and decor. I would be interested in staying the night only to see the decor in the rooms. I had an interaction with the front desk and the gentleman was very kind and assisted me with validating my parking for the event. The hotel is a good location for the Johns Hopkins families who come to visit for send offs and graduation. It is located directly across from the Hopkins fields. A short 10-15 minute drive puts you downtown for all of the site seeing.

5Stars hands down. Our event went over very well. The customer service is outstanding. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Parking was convenient and affordable. Our company promotes health, wealth, travel and leisure and we looking forward to hosting our next leaders recruiting event at your hotel on June 5, 2017. Thanks again! See you next time!

We were there for a conference everyone was friendly and accommodating, whenever we had questions they were quick to answer. That nice warm welcoming cookie was especially sweet. During the conference when we found the room to be chilly on one side and warm on the other side they were quick to get an engineer in to adjust the thermometer so that everyone was comfortable. The morning after the conference we had breakfast which was the usual make your own Belgian waffles with fresh fruits eggs and breakfast meats, not included in the price of the room. The hotel concierge was quite an asset in helping us find shopping at the local boutiques. The room was clean, with all the amenities, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, luggage rack and coffee and tea in the room. Overall I would recommend this place to individuals and families alike.

Got upgraded to a lovely suite with a balcony. It was a short business trip so I didn't have gone to enjoy any of the amenities. Never even turned on the tv. The hotel staff sent multiple text messages to my phone before my arrival, after check in and after I departed to see if everything was ok. Really annoying. Got trapped in the parking garage when my room key failed to open the gate. By the time someone came out to open it, a truck was blocking the ramp to back into the delivery area. I thought I might never be able to leave. Won't stay there again.

The room was good. We had the suite with balcony. We had a refrigerator and the smell when you opened it! Sofa bed was thin mattress with the bars poking you. The staff was not that friendly. I have stayed at Hilton before and they are usually super nice. The food in the restaurant was ok. We arrived and there was a private party so could not eat in the restaurant had to squeeze in the small bar with very view tables. Location great for what we came for but probably would not stay there again.

Service was fast and friendly. Bartender was quick and efficient. Wait staff equally great. Will visit again!

My wife and I were in town for a graduation and needed an afforadable room close to the venue. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Every staff member was very pleasant and extremely helpful.

Nice rooms. We got breakfast vouchers and their breakfast setup is a little weird. I used the gym and it was pretty decent. Beautiful area around the campus and very close to JHU baseball and lacrosse fields which was kinda cool.

Did not interact much with hotel staff. However, when I did they were friendly and helpful. The room we used was clean and well organized. Over all I was pleasantly surprised with the entire event.

Rooms were spacious. Hotel was beautiful. Restaurant had delicious food. Best part was the friendly and courteous staff.

Room was clean and spacious, bed was comfy, great place to stay, not too loud.

Location was perfect for the location next to the school. I was quite surprised at the price of Continental breakfast, especially for an athlete that can't have a lot of the food provided before a race.

My family and I stayed here on Feb. 11th. My daughter used the small exercise room and came back to take a shower. There was no hot water. We called the front desk and waited. No hot water. At check out I received an apology and assurance my money would be refunded. That never occurred. I paid $171, 33 for a room with no hot water and now cannot get a refund because the person at the desk at check-out did not record this occurrence. All that I received was a pass on the parking garage fee.

Great location, right across the street from Johns Hopkins and near many restaurants. Service was great and they gave us a great deal on the price. Room was nice with comfortable beds and free Wi-Fi!

The king-sized bedroom was well furnished. The fitness center is not a highlight, only up to 50lb dumbbells, one bench, and a few cardio machines. Service was as expected.

Great salad and pizza served from the bar. Very happy with the service as well.

Overall, great experience at the Colonnade! The staff was incredibly cordial and accommodating. This is my second time staying here and I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in Baltimore.

Great place, very nice. The staff can be a bit rude as they seemed to just want to talk to each other, but once you get their attention they are very helpful.

Fantastic stay. The service was fantastic and the room was clean. Big plus they let my dog stay with me.

So the location is good for what we came into town for. It's a beautiful hotel and the room is nice. Other than that I can't say I'm happy. I think upon booking that we thought there would be a fridge or at least a microwave, even motels have microwaves! We got this room through Expedia and hoped to get a room with a balcony, but were informed upon arrival that we couldn't since we booked through Expedia. The day we got to here we ended up passing out and was awakened to a housekeeper? entering the rim to bring washcloths. Then our room phone rang and when answered they apologized because they didn't mean to call our room. This room is overpriced to not have simple amenities, but will suit your needs.

The TV wasn't working had to call them multiple times my lamp was broke the shade was broke the screen door was broke the towels was dirty even when I asked for fresh towels the fresh towels came back dirty it just was a disaster my stay was unpleasant but I slept well.

Great staff. Comfortable for my family and we slept well. Complimentary cookies were excellent.

This place is really mediocre. The automatic parking gate didn't work. The bedroom was dirty, looked old and was not functional (food under the couch, dust, the A/C didn't work and the shower didn't drain at all. ) It doesn't worth the price at all.

Don't stay here! The management penny pinches anyway they can. Can't use the lobby, bar or restaurant because they constantly rent out the lobby to outside groups. If you stay with them you are treated unfairly. For the prices they charge and the services you get, stay somewhere else.

I've been here many times visiting Johns Hopkins and the Space Telescope Science Institute and have always found it pleasant and comfortable. Only thing to watch out for is that some of the bathrooms are awkwardly small. Also, don't get too hopeful about the free cookie. They only have them at certain times of day. But they are delicious when present.

The hotel's location is unbeatable if you have business at Johns Hopkins University but it is convenient also for visiting downtown Baltimore. The rooms were cosy, well-lit and fresh. The staff did above and beyond to help with anything my wife and I needed.

Worse place I have ever stayed. Manager (Steve) was rude to his staff; parked cars in the beautiful courtyard so that it was hard to walk to the lobby; sold hot dogs on the street like a common ball park vendor; lobby was dirty; rooms were mediocre, not enough staff to handle a lot of guests. The only decent place in the hotel was the folks in the gift shop and when I asked to charge my purchases to my room they apologized profusely that they were not part of the hotel (just rented space) and therefore could not charge purchase to room. They were very friendly and accommodating and they graciously accepted my credit card for purchases. Too bad such nice people are associated with such a lousy hotel. Absolutely would NOT recommend anyone staying at this hotel. There are many other very nice hotels in Baltimore, where the staff and management are much nicer, more accommodating and pleasant.

UPDATE — We had an issue when trying to book a room with a Living Social certificate. I was told there were five rooms available, but that they preferred to sell them to customers who would be paying full price. I called and left a message for the business manager and asked her to return my call. But she never did. Since we could not get our money back, we decided to book a room on our next trip to Baltimore. But I had concerns about the treatment that we would recieve, since we were not paying full fare. Now that we have stayed there I can report that we were booked in a nice suite instead of a standard room. Perhaps this was a kind gesture to make up for my intial poor experience. Or it could have been a coincidence. Regardless, it was much appreciated. So my impression of the hotel is much improved and the onsite customer service was outstanding. The hotel itself also makes a grand impression. The parking garage was a steeply priced (we paid $20 for 3 hours — then found free street parking later that night), but overall I can strongly recommend this hotel for visitors or travelors — just be advised that if you are using a Living Social certificate there may be limitated availability if they can expect to book the last few rooms to someone paying full price. That withstanding, my compliments to the hotel. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
