We had a wonderful evening at the Hilton Garden Inn's lobby bar and restaurant. Kelsey was our server/bartender and she was GREAT! She greeted us with a smile, had a wonderful personality and great conversation. We thoroughly enjoyed our hand crafted cocktails that she suggested and prepared for us. The food was incredible as well. We began with some appetizers of choice from Ms. Beverly. The street tacos, flat bread and crispy green beans were all absolutely delicious! Mike, the manager, came by to check on us as well to ensure that all was perfect. The atmosphere was relaxing and we felt very comfortable dining inside. Thank you HGI-KI, Kelsey and Ms. Beverly for the perfect evening out!

Wow, what a wonderful surprise when we walked in. What a wonderful view. Room service was great and so was the food. We will be back for sure.

The Jetty Bar is right next door so be prepared for a fun crowd and loud music. But this is why we come here.

Visited the location for a fishing trip. It is a nice hotel with renewed rooms. Clean and convenient. If your room has the view of the marina it is even better. The pool was nice with a small jacuzzi cuz we were the only one in there. But u just don’t go there for the pool. Though it is open at nite.

I would give this place 3+. The staff were welcoming and polite, the breakfast was delicious and guests could order food cooked to their liking. The rooms were a good size, good view from the balcony and reasonably clean; however, a couple draw backs: there was a lot of condensation from the humid weather that settled in the room we were in making surface areas wet. The bathroom did not have a eorking fan to draw off moisture when you took a shower.

Shower was nice and high pressure. Bed was very comfortable. Great view of the bay from the rooms balcony. Maids always around to clean. Breakfast available every morning. Would stay again.

The hotel was wonderful! We normally don't stay at Hilton because it is usually out of our price range. The rate here was very reasonable! The customer service was great and the room was very nice! The view from our balcony was breathtaking! We would love to stay again when we visit the area.

Excellent customer service. Only property on the water with bay front or boat views to select from. All rooms are spacious, have a frig and microwave and free internet. There is free access to an exercise room, indoor pool with jacuzzi and complimentary cookies, coffee, tea and flavored water in the lobby. The lobby offers multiple, cozy seating options with a fireplace, self service breakfast and dinner options are available. Outdoor and balcony bay view seating is offered. The Jetty and Bridges Restaurants are next door, also within walking distance to other dining options. Charter boats depart early, sailboats, small yachts, and jet skis dart the bay. The perfect getaway location that makes you feel you are no where near home. Updated June 2018. Over the past year this property has gone through a complete renovation from the lobby, flooring, carpeting, design, and guest rooms. This new look is more modern and gives the rooms a more upscaled appearance. Some miss the dressers replaced with cabinets or the wood elements replaced with marble. But I love the fact their focus is still on the customer and trying to stay competitive in the marketplace.

I went there to check out the event space to potentially hold a rehearsal dinner. Jacqui was very helpful and showed us the space as well as menu options. In the past, Heather was extremely helpful in arranging a block of rooms to hold for our wedding on the Eastern Shore.

Free Coffe, a good extra space in the bedroom, friendly staff, warm pool and a little gym. Should be warning that sometimes the place next to the hotel host parties (like yesterday was a wedding), so if you are looking for some place really quite, the possible noise can be a negative point — But just closing the window already helped me. It was a good experience in general.

Well $100 more a night AND a two night stay minimum… we have a small rectangle room that is basic and no jacuzzi tub. We called the front desk and it turns out they only have four of those room in the entire hotel. We have definitely stayed in much nicer hotels for less. In addition, the front desk was not overly kind… borderline inconvenienced by us being here I would say.

I think you have to speak Spanish to stay here, communication is terrible in English. As I am trying to eat breakfast there is one and only one English girl there which was comforting to see, she was a very hard worker, great communication always on her feet friendly and doing an awesome job. Then I look over to see two Hispanic guys that worked there I think I heard his buddy call him Ever? and the other was Manny? I am trying to relax and enjoy my meal. They are a bad influence to this place they were laughing pointing and talking about this hard working girl I just don't understand how they can hire staff like this I spent a few hours there and the entire time they were both doing nothing but on there cell phones behind the counter goofing off, You see if you had more employees like the girl I seen working without a doubt I would give it a 5star review. But the embarrassment of the two guys cost you a customer! or many…

We stayed for an extended time and it was great! Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Employees all, from the manager, front desk, housekeeping, bartenders, and cook, all talked to us whenever they saw us and made us feel right at home!

Clean, comparable prices with other hotels, customer service is great.

I attempted to book a room for a Saturday night and was informed it is a 2 night minimum on weekend. Super disappointed we won't be able to stay here, as we will only be in the area 1 night.

Beautiful hotel! I experienced the king suite with balcony and whirlpool.

Will probably be a lot better once they finish their renovating/upgrade of the rooms.

Was under construction while I visited. I was in a room right below major remodeling. I think it will be great when remodeling is over, but I would call ahead to make sure it's complete before staying.

When business guests are visiting, I always put them up at the Hilton Garden Inn Kent Island. The staff members are always friendly and the hotel is being redecorated. My business guests are always happy with their accommodations.

Excellent bay front view. Spacious rooms. Clean.

Had a decent breakfast but they were undergoing renovations that we're slightly inconvenient. I would've expected a lower price with this in mind but I didn't know until I got there. Once these are done I'm sure it'll be a solid 4-5 star for review purposes.

Went here in Feb 2017 and the room was NICE, very clean and right off the waterfront… the evening front desk greeted us with smiles and laughter but the woman that did the check-out was very unfriendly and even told me I was too late for breakfast when I asked (had 5 minutes to get breakfast). Thank goodness I didn't listen to her… went around and the cashier was more than happy to take my breakfast coupons and also greeted me with a smile… other than that, I highly recommend this place if you want to get away for some R&R ;o)! Also, there was a party going on next door on the dock right off the water so if you're into Happy Hour/dancing, they have that as well ;o)!

I have been to this place 5 times and I have loved it every single time. The pool is really nice and clean. The view is really nice. The rooms are really clean. The breakfasts are amazing you can grab some waffles, cereals, or oatmeal or you can enjoy the hot made to order breakfast which you tell the chief what you want and how you like it and they make it for you.

Great balcony views, friendly staff including Mike the Bartender who is excellent! Most important for me… the handicapped accommodations were above average, esp roll in shower & spacious room. Only negative … room service menu needs major upgrading.

A Valentine's Day Weekend A very pleasant hotel, close to snow and relaxation (just why we chose it). We went to get away from home, and spend Valentine's together, only the second time. The room was quiet, the spa tub was well used. Even when we had a storm problem (Winter Storm Neptune) that cut the areas water supply, we were kept reasonable well informed, the staff were very helpful with bottled water to see us through. All in all a very nice, quiet and secluded (for winter) spot.

Great rooms, awesome view, perfect room service and very affordable compared to the quality of the service they provide. A must place to stay if you are in the Chesapeake bay area.

Our room was very, very noisy during our recent stay (9/26/16 to 10/1/16) because of a nearby bar. How noisy? We could easily follow the lyrics of the old rock-and-roll songs being played with our windows, door and night curtains closed. We turned up the TV pretty loud, but the bass line still came through quite clearly. It was impossible to sleep until the band quit playing and the crowd dispersed after 1 a. M. Friday and Saturday nights. The music already was going at 5 p. M. Saturday when we returned to the room to relax after a long day. The hotel clearly knows this is a problem, but did not tell us so we could make a decision about staying there. I realized much too late why the amenities included ear plugs and a white noise machine by the bed. To rub salt in the wounds, the hotel jacks the Friday/Saturday rates up to nearly $300 a night. Also, the hotel knowingly is playing the odds that people won't complain too much; the windows and door to the balcony were cheap and poorly installed. Decent windows and door correctly installed probably would get the noise down to a tolerable level. If you want to stay there anyway, maybe the rooms facing the marina rather than the bay are quieter. We won't be going back.

Friendly service, very clean, comfortable beds, great view. The bar next door was a bit loud at night and some of the furniture was well worn but overall a nice hotel. I would stay again.

Exceptional, friendly service all around. To boot, my car battery died in the lot there and Glorious and Lori brought out jumper cables and one of their cars to give my battery a boost and get me on the road. HUGE lifesavers!

Would not stay here again, the wind cuts through the building and it is incredibly loud when you are trying to sleep. The doors rattle in their hinges all night from the wind. The front dest refunded us half our stay without a seconds thought. That was nice but clearly this is a problem they know about. The location is very beautiful though. The rooms are clean, however the showers are incredibly slippery and dangerous. The staff is nice though and the hotel is in a good location.

There was a lot of confusion from the staff on our reservation when we made our booking for a wedding (had us down as a completely different name, thank goodness for the confirmation number email) but once we arrived, everything was fine. The room was mostly clean (towels in the bathroom were gross, but we found 2 that worked) ; only 1 outlet in the bathroom and it was occupied by the hairdryer; beds were comfy and pillows were supportive. If we were to stay in Kent Island again, I'd consider this hotel. The pricing seemed a bit steep as there's not too much to do in the area but the hotel served our purpose.

We stayed here for my birthday and anniversary combined. The room wasn't as nice as I had expected; it was clean but no bed skirt, not a whole bunch of pillows, the door to the patio let in far too much light (with only mini blinds). The trash truck picked up at 6 AM Saturday morning. I had hoped for a better experience.

Great hotel. Friendly staff. Free breakfast, indoor and outdoor pool. Very clean and well maintained hotel overall! We'll be back next year.

Great location. Yet horrible at the same time. If ur wanting a good nights sleep look else where. Place is beautiful when u first walk in the past the front desk it needs serious updating. The bar next to it is loud and the rooms are not sound proof. But the emplyees are very nice.

I would give them 5 stars except that the noise from The Jetty next to the hotel is unbelievable. It starts at noon and goes till 1:00 am making it impossible to enjoy the balcony and making sleep difficult. Great staff and beautiful rooms but I will never return due to the noise. Staff said they were aware of the problem but could do nothing about it.

Great rooms, service, location, view and pricing BUT not a expensive car (Benz, Corvette, Porsche, Lexus ect. ) friendly local. Had my Corvette hit and run in the lot. Video cams in the lot would have helped greatly.

My friends and I frequent this location from time to time because it is a great little escape! The bar, the Jetty, has great bands on the weekend and is always a great time. Everytime I walk in the door, everyone is so cordial and hospital and the rooms are impeccable. Will ALWAYS chose this place.

Perfect place. Rooms very large and comfortable. Bathrooms great with lots of counter space. Two TV's in room (both HD with HD programming available. 1st hotel in my life I've seen that actually provides HD programming on the nice HD TV's). Indoor pool and hot tub were great. Work out room was nice with really nice treadmills. Large and comfy lobby. Internet was fast. Great views of bay. Easy walk to a bunch of bars and restaurants. No free breakfast, but we didn't care. Will definately stay here again.
