Good service might stay a while.

We had a family emergency in the area and needed a place to sleep for the night. We walked in on April 17 at about 1am. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. We were so tired but was able to get settled in our room which was nice and clean. We stayed for one night and had cold breakfast and coffee before we left the next morning. Having to walk into a place without seeing the reviews is not something I would do but this night was the exception. I have no regrets staying here and was able to sleep comfortably. I would definitely return to this location again if I come back to the area and need a place to catch some zzzz's.

I have never had so much bad issues with any hotel as I have had with Econo Lodge. This seems to be business as usual. The first room had a very strong bad smell. The second room was not very bad, but the heavy blanket appeared dirty and the chair also looked dirty. This was all on top of being hassled at check in. She was ignorant and had no idea what to really do. I have said it before, but I am now seriously considering never even trying another econo lodge because they are not good in general, and apparently have no expectations or standards for appearances and their employees.

Surprisingly nice. Front desk lady was SUPER nice and friendly. Rooms were recently remodeled. Everything was clean. Pool was nice too. A little outdated from outside but you stay inside, right?!? Super close to Fort Knox (if that's where you're going). Lots around it too.

Econo Lodge Fort Knox did not look that nice outside but the inside looked like it has just been remodeled! It had Laminated wood flooring and nice new beds! Also had very nice lights fixtures! The counter tops and bathroom had beautiful marble! The location was very close to Fort Knox!

Have stayed here so far 3 different times now, had no issues with staff they were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and had laminate flooring which is a plus. The only problem I had was the bed the mattress was too hard on my back. I have back issues and for anyone that does you may want to invest in a mattress topper before going here. Wi-Fi is great and they offer a fridge and microwave in room as well.

I was completely not impressed with our room. Having stayed in MUCH nicer places for the SAME price, I felt this place wasn't worth more than $25. The room was small, the bathroom was smaller, the air conditioner was less than effective at cooling the room, the floors were dusty and the shower head was so nasty there's no way I would have taken a shower there. Other than the clean bedding, the whole place just felt dirty. I will never stay in an EconoLodge again in my life if I have any say about it!

Rude customer service. It was like I was interrupting her busy night. No where did it say that I have to pay a $100 cash deposit because I'm a local resident until I came into the office. Also had to make three separate transactions for two rooms and pet rent.

It was awesome. Best two bed room ive seen and a great vending selection.

Convenient and priced right.

Easy to find. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. The girl on the front desk suggested a couple of places we could go for dinner. Room was well presented and clean. Wifi was really good too!

Cheap hotel, service was good. Right next to major road, which was comforting but noisy. All in all ok for a cheap hotel. Was clean and that's was a big plus.

Surprise! The property's exterior is misleading, the rooms are pretty decent. Clean & comfortable.

I like the rooms and service jus don't pay with a card, I got overcharged by the owner and they told me to call my bank instead of trying to make it right. Also their prices go up every time I go there. It was 52$ now it's up to 86$ a night. And it went up in less than 3 weeks.

The no smoking rooms smell very much so of smoke, and the comforter smells of feet. The cleanliness of the room is not extremely high, and can be improved — also right next to the highway so light sleepers beware! The staff was very courteous however. I will not visit here again.

Clean Cozy and remodeled. Breakfast can be a little better. Having feral would help. Price is nice.

Friendly staff, rooms recently remodeled. Clean and cozy. Heat and A/C worked great. Price just right too. Only reason not 5 star is breakfast is not the greatest but across the street is J-Boys which absolutely delicious.

Friendly staff, clean room and continental breakfast was minimal but could make a meal.

It's a no perks motel. The free breakfast is kinda a joke but it bed is comfortable and house keeping does clean rooms daily and I always have a good supply of towels etc.

This is a nice place, newly remodeled rooms and excellent staff, Martina and Matt on front desk are very helpful and friendly.

The room we were given had meth bags and meth all over the floor. There was hair every where. Even after they cleaned it was still dirty. Do not stay here.

Rooms were cheaply decorated but rate seemed high.

Love this hotel. We stayed for my birthday. We stayed 5 days. Great breakfast! Microwave, tv, free Wi-Fi, blpw dryer, and comfortable beds. The pool is outside and I never saw people cleaning it. Theyre were bugs in pool but thats understandable since its outside. Very nice people at desk☺

The rooms are better than expected. The air doesn't get the room much past cool-ish. The breakfast was all pastries, breads and waffles. The pool is small but clean and clear.

Nice people, very helpful, and all rooms are updated. Breakfast isn't much, but there's plenty of place with breakfast in walking distance.

Being harassed and stalked by one of the male employees that works here! Yelled at me for sitting in my car because he thought I was just here for the free internet. Then keeps walking around my car going and opening my laundry in the laundry room! Heaven forbid you sit in your car to make sure no-one steals your clothes.

Ac vent broke. Wall paint coming off. Shower had to be fixed had bathroom floor soaking wet and water was coming out so hard it was hurting my skin. Need to replace shower curtain the were old. The towel and rags are dingy and need to be replaced. Pillows not comfortable at all. They working working on rooms at 10pm at night had to listen to that. Sink didn't drain either.

Pretty "eh" room in a pretty "eh" area but you get what you pay for. At the same time, I was driving cross country with my wife, son, and 2 cats in the car to visit my mother for a couple weeks in the summer. My mom was nice enough to get us this room instead of us driving across the US for 30 hours straight. She had paid for it knowing we had pets with us, however when the office saw our pets in the window and realized it wasn't on our tabed they freaked our and called us repeatedly at 530 in the morning to get us to come pay for them. It was only like 20 dollars I think but these people acted like it was life or death. Besides that it's not bad for the price.

Pros: friendly staff… They keep it clean. Grip: they are busy being so close to Ft. Knox and have not updated anything in 20+ yrs… Cons: very old. Cheap feel, just bad… And you pay full price. Grip: I don't mind cheap hotels, if I get to pay a cheap price.

This is by far been the worse place I have ever seen in my life. The rooms are nasty, Stink, and out dated. Staff was extremely rude. Cussed at my under aged daughter. Staff was dressed sloppy and unprofessional. Setting at the check in desk stuffing food in there mouth wile dealing with customers. Staff would not help or answer any questions. Saw several roaches crawling around and felt extremely dirty, unsafe and uncomfortable. I truly would not want anyone to have this alfull expereance.

The staff was friendly. The room was clean, if dated. The biggest problem was the incense in the breakfast room, which was so strong I couldn't bear to be in there for more than a minute or two.

The room was clean, but dated. My room was facing the road, and was very noisy. The staff was friendly, but the facility leaves a lot to be desired.

We stayed in Room 123 & the sheets on the bed were dirty, they brought us more sheets & they were dirty. The manager brought 4 more sets of sheets & 3 of them were dirty. The bathtub was dirty, I wouldn't even shower there. Bad experience.

I really appreciate the time I was here. Friendly. And very much clean. Worth it.

My mother and I stayed here for 2 days. The room was infested with flys and gnats and then when I went to take a shower the water was cold when it was all the way on hot. There was also a wasps nest right outside our room. For 160 dollars for 2 nights I did not expect bugs and cold shower. When we brought it to their attention they said they wouldn't have someone spray for bugs and check the shower water. When we returned from my cousins commissioning in ft Knox we came back to the room to find more bugs and no hot shower water. My mother went down and complained and the moved us to another room. After being in another room there were less flies and hot shower water and the wasp nest was right outside our door. My mother who is highly allergic went down again and ask that they have the wasps nest removed which was not done. The morning of check out my mom asked for a discount because our experience was so icky and they told us there was absolutely nothing wrong with the room and we had made it all up. I am extremely disappointed in this facility and we will not be returning.

Absolutely no cell phone service if you use Verizon. Was told by the front desk that their Wi-Fi wouldn't work with Verizon phones (I am not an idiot and cell phone company usage and Wi-Fi have no correlation to each other). The night manager treated me as though I was an imbecile. Her smug smile when I reported a problem caused my blood pressure to skyrocket. I was paying $100 for a CRAPPY, LOUD, SMELLY room and she was RUDE. There was a scary shady looking drug dealer looking dude hanging out on the corner at the back of the building. Rooms smell like old cigarettes. Horribly uncomfortable beds. Ironing board but no iron. Road noise is TERRIBLE. The rooms on the back are probably quieter, but then you may need to make friends with the shady drug dealer. Air conditioner did not work. Will NEVER stay here again. Actually, we will NEVER stay at another EconoLodge because of this experience.

1 star. If a non smoking Room is reserved and paid for in advance then that's the room I should get. The room was claimed to be a non smoking room but it was obviously not due the smoke and ashtray in the room. The shower knob did not work properly or they had no hot water. Shower water temp was room temp. The nightshift lady was trained properly and very customer service orientated. However the morning shift person was uncaring when I mentioned the wrong room we received. No price adjustment or accommodations were made to correct the order. Oh, when asked for air spray to cover the smell — we were given a water bottle than streams some kind of liquid. How the heck am I going to clear the smell with a liquid streaming bottle device? Breakfast — Eggo Waffles, apples, juice, coffee, pastries. Better eat before 9am otherwise they turn off the power to the breakfast room and you cannot make toast or coffee! Unhappy with the whole experience. Will avoid in the future.

Despite the hotel being older it's still pretty clean. It is in need of some new beds. Our bed had no padding and was encased in zippered plastic. It was very uncomfortable so we switched rooms. The new room had great beds but the air conditioner only worked part time. It went from cold to hot air whenever it felt like it and we couldn't shut it off unless we unplugged it. The pool is adequate and they did have a small continental breakfast. The staff is great though and did everything they could to accommodate our needs.

I stay here often due to the hotel being so close to my work. Especially when the weather is bad so I don't have a far commute into work in the mornings. Check in is always fast and the employees treat you like family and are very helpful if you have any questions. The rooms have always been cleaned perfectly from all of my experiences. Plus they have free Wi-Fi which is always a plus. I would recommend this property to my friends and family for sure.

Didn't clean rooms on a regular basis. Couldn't use the tub as a tub without improvising. Didn't replace supplies. Room was noisy and smoking outside vented straight into room through the heat. Door had a HUGE gap in it. In room coffee maker was broken and coffee not replaced even when room was cleaned.

Beds are like sleeping on a pile of rocks. The rooms were not the greatest. I wish I had seen these reviews before staying here, would have went elsewhere. No breakfast, thought there was a cont. Breakfast but what I say was not fresh. Ugh wont stay here again.
