The location was perfect for staying in Cincinnati. The shower was coming off the wall, though, and we didnt like that so many rooms were smoking (we could smell it). But the hotel overall was nice and the staff was friendly.

Let me start with the good. The staff here was very friendly and made sure I had a nice stay. The bed and other furniture is very nice and comfortable. That being said, this hotel could definitely use some work. It is a nice hotel if you are looking for a decent stay for cheap though. Our room needed some paint work, both the door to our room and the bathroom door did not close well or lock, the sink was clogged, the outlets were coming out of the wall, and more. Overall, a pretty good stay for the cheap price.

Horrible. The hotel smelled bad. They required a $50 deposit… after I paid for my room. The room smelled bad. It was dirty. There was bullet holes in the wall. I literally cleaned feces off of the toilet seat when I arrived. There was a bug and hair in the bathtub. This hotel should be shut down. Never again. I should have read the reviews.

First off the people who rated this place saying it’s great have to be the workers or owners. This was the WORST hotel I’ve been in. If I could give it a negative rating I most certainly would. I’ve worked in a hotel and know how things are ran and I’m shocked how this place hasn’t been shut down. We left Kings island and decided to stay somewhere before driving home all we wanted was a place to sleep for a couple hours and a shower. This place was the ONLY hotel with an empty room in a 2 hr radius. We thought we got lucky until we saw the room… this room was so nasty we didn’t even want to sit on the bed or couch. Paint was peeling off the wall there were stains from bed bugs on the mattress itself. The towels had stains on them. I could go on and on. The lady who worked nights was very nice and said she would talk to her manager in the morning about a refund. I called the manager and he said he couldn’t give me a refund because it took me an hour to leave. All we used was the bathroom and we searched for another hotel. And my asthma started acting up from being in there because of the cigarette smell. Or it could of been from mold. And I informed the manager about this and he didn’t care. He was very rude and said I would have to wait 48hours to find out his decision. DO NOT STAY HERE! Update: the manager called me back to inform me since I was in there for an hour he couldn’t give me a refund. Corporate will be contacted.

Decent room for a good value. Breakfast was good. Room was a newer remodel. Staff was friendly. Dislikes were steps to go up with no handicap elevator and room smelled stale. Would recommend if you need a clean room to stay in.

Super Friendly Staff. Clean rooms. Recommended a local pub for dinner and drinks. Was a great pleasure staying there. Not to mention a great price for a great room.

Worst hotel ever, rude management, bad breakfast. Lights shined in our room all night, Express way noise, asked for warm milk, MICROWAVE DONT WORK… Calling the corporate office to complain.

This place is hilarious with how absolutely filthy it is. The only things that where clean where the beds, sink and toilet that was ironically "sealed for my protection. " The biggest comfort I had was knowing it had to be bedbug free from all the cobwebs in the corners. (Bedbugs tend to live in corners and leave stains) If you only need a comfortable bed to sleep in this place is fine, otherwise don't waste your money.

The room itself was nice; however, when I first checked in I told them at the front office that there would also be my sister and brother-in-law in the room. About two hours later the manager comes banging on the door and when I opened it he had a bat in his hand and insisted that I said it was only me in the room, which had 2 beds in it. He told me to get out or he would have to "make me" as he looked at his bat. So, the hotel itself was okay. The service was unfriendly and rude.

Very nice hotel. Check-in very prompt. Nice room. Very, very close to Cincinnati airport (maybe 10 to 15 minutes at most).

The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient. The facility needs some renovation and I was told that was being done, but not when I was there. There was a lot of noise from the interstate because the window latches were not holding the windows completely closed. The hallway carpet was disgusting. The room was clean and a nice size. The HVAC unit was quiet, which is unusual for an older facility.

The toilet door is pitiful, when we close it correct but when we try to open it it is very hard to open! When we get back into the room his stink! But lunch is good!

Very old and dirty! Floor don't look like they vacuum and the blankets had burn holes in them. Better off to spend a little more money else where for a clean room than here.

Don't waste your money! The decor is from the 1970's. Dirty place and a lot of disturbing people hang around the entrance. For what they charge, you can stay in a nicer hotel in the Florence area!

As always, pictures look way better than the real stuff. Keep in mind that you get what you pay for and for what you pay, I thought it was worth 3 stars.

Convenient location from downtown Cincinnati! Helpful very kind staff will tell you about city information if you ask. Hi speed free Wi-Fi, beautiful clean and big room. There were a microwave and fridge in the room. Highly recommend this place.

Horrible. My son rented a room there and we came to pick him up from out of town. It was 28° outside and the heater did not work. Plug in was burnt out. Huge blood stain on side of mattress as well as blood splatter on curtain and window across from mattress. I really think someone was murdered in there. Dirty and nasty. How can they not see the blood everywhere.

Location was convenient. Bed was comfortable, and the was a TV, microwave, and fridge. Water was a little cold in the shower, but I have no other complaints! Staff was very friendly.

Hotel was under construction at the time. The room was relatively clean. There were drawings on the back of the bathroom door and the hot/cold water in the shower were switched. The complimentary breakfast was ok but nothing worth while. Overall the hotel is fine for short stays where you aren't in the room for long periods of time.

This hotel doesn't seem to fit in with the neighborhood its in. Everything is old and sad. The network channels didn't work on the tv. Next time I need a cheap hotel in the area, I'll spend a little more to get a much nicer place. Pros: cheap.

When we first checked in we were promised a pool and hot tub. The hot tub is broken and not in the plan to be fixed. The pool stayed dirty and slimey. Paint chipped off the walls. TV only worked if you pressed in the number of the channel. Housekeeping came into our room when we had the do not disturb sign out. AC only worked when took filter out it was that filthy. Found bed bug spots on the sheets. Had to pay a $50 deposit which they tell you nothing about. Had to beg them for towels because when they clean the rooms they don't have clean ones right away. Never again will we stay at another Wyndham owned hotel or motel.

Staff were nice, location was convenient. The rooms were extremely dirty and in serious need of updating. The paint was peeling in several places in the bathroom, shower curtain had a large yellow stain on it. The air conditioner had a large piece of duct tape across it. The good news is the bed was comfortable and all the appliances worked, A. C. Refrigerator, TV etc.

Great hotel for the regular traveler. Loveliest women working there I have ever met. Will definately stay again. Thank you. Love. Your disc golfers.

Large, spacious and dark rooms that seem to have been last updated in the 90s. Bathroom had mold, chipped paint and no door knob! Room door worked when it wanted to, had to triple check to ensure it closed fully and locked before leaving out for the day. View of the pool and expressway, which helped when in need of a traffic report. I guess I got what I paid for, since I found a deal from a third party site.

Very dirty and gross. Didn't feel safe there. Looked for a different hotel for next night.

Cozy rooms. Great service. Continental breakfast was smaller then most but expected. Cheap for the room.

People are very friendly and helpful here, accepted my one eye Willy (pom), room is in great shape and very clean. Yes I would stay here again and again, wake up to a nice breakfast daily. What else feels like home. Patty.

Was quite disappointed by the quality and cleanliness of this facility, especially considering that it was a Days Inn. The non smoking room reeked of smoke and had several holes burned in the bedspread. Given the strong odor of smoke as I walked passed the other non smoking rooms, it's a safe assumption that the non smoking policy is not enforced. A roach was crawling around in the bathroom the next morning and the tiles in the shower were moldy. Would not recommend staying here.

Room was damaged. The sheets had burn holes and the bed was harder than the floor. The bathroom had no knob and the main door had to be slammed shut or else it would stay open. The front desk clerk was nice but the rooms need work.

I booked my stay here with the Days Inn Fort Wright from 09/8/2016 — 09/12/2016. I've never been treated with such disrespect by this staff~! Approximately at 7 pm tonight, my power went out in my room. The front clerk was completely rude to me from the moment I called to notify the front desk. She put me on hold for over nearly five minutes before I put her on hold to go out to her to let her know. She claims that the maintenance guy said it was the breaker, which he fixed. Nope. Then they got someone else to check the breaker. After nearly 15 minutes of arguing with them that the power is still not on in my room, the front clerk argues with me that she can not do anything in her power to help. Then she offers me to switch rooms! HA. As if after I had everything completely unpacked. I'm exhausted after a 4 hour drive. I just wanted to get ready for bed at this rate. After getting the second room, I went back into my original room to start packing up my stuff, the power came back on. The maintenance men started to come down to check to see if it was working or not. They wouldn't even take the luggage cart up for me without me asking if they could after all my trouble. The worst part about this, the front desk clerk didn't even dream of offering to ask if I wanted a reimbursement for my troubles! I only needed a hotel for sleep and shower this weekend because I'm in town for an event but by god, I would of left in a heart beat after how I was treated. Do not stay here!

If I could give no stars I would. First off, BED BUGS! We all got bit and had to leave everything we took in with us outside after we left. The white lady at the front desk seemed high. I made reservations for the whole weekend on Friday with her at the front desk, she only takes payment for that night but assured me it was alright that's how they do it BC they don't have much change, I had paid in cash. I go Saturday morning to pay again and he tells me all rooms were full and I didn't have a reservation. Also tells me the old lady messes stuff up all the time. So my children and I had no where to go they tell me to come back and check for cancellations around 10 am I do this they all tell me someone else said this or didn't say that. Then the creepy little man who told me I was cute when I first came in, weird, knocks on my door and says he has another room for like $49 more, even though it was their fault they messed up my reservation. After I declined to pay more he proceeds to bang in my door then when my 3 yr old answered the door he started pointing in his face yelling how this is his door and his hotel! Scared my son, and tried to force his way in my room as I was trying to get the remainder of my stuff and leave. They threatened me as I was leaving. Do not stay here. The air conditioner cover kept falling off and the room was covered in ants and bed bugs, but the treatment by staff was worse than the bugs.

I blame myself for the poor experience. I traveled to Cincinnati for a conference that was held at the Duke Energy Convention Center. I made a last minute decision to attend and found it impossible to get a hotel closer than eight miles from the venue. After searching for hours online for an affordable hotel in a decent area, I came across the Days Inn at Fort Wright. The reviews were terrible! However, I didn't have much choice and took a chance. I arrived a little early and the clerk told me that she didn't have a room ready. I asked to sit in the lobby until one was available. She then said that she had a room but that I could decide if I wanted it after looking at it. That was red flag one. I have never liked hotel (motel) rooms that are accessed from outside. She took me on the back side of the building where the room was next to one where a really drunk man was passed out on the bed with the door wide open! The room that I was being offered faced a rundown swimming pool that was not in operation. I quickly told her no. I did not want that room. Ten minutes later, there was a room available that was accessed from inside the building. First, the lobby stinks of stale cigarettes so bad that it takes your breath away upon entry! The room was definitely in need of repairs and upgrades and the shower walls looked moldy. Again, the overwhelming stench of cigarettes was awful! I had to spray some of my best perfume around the room just to make it tolerable!

Hotel is very outdated. AC in the room was terrible. The room smelled like an ashtray. The bed had cigarette burns in it. The bathrooms was falling apart. The faucet wasn't connected to the sink counter so it just flopped around. The paint in the bathroom was cracking and peeling off through walls. The breakfast was a joke. Only cold cereal and bread. If you're thinking of booking here, just don't. It's not worth what ever you'll be saving.

Dirty and terrible service. Everything was either broken or falling apart and the finishing of the building itself was miserable. That I can deal with… but the bed was a catastrophic failure. If my wife and I weren't dead tired, we'd have left after arriving at 11:30pm that night. Smoke free room is what we paid for, clearly recently had smokers and they didn't clear the room. Mattress pad had cigarette burns. Sheets were covered in cigarette burns and "liquid" stains… there wasn't even a phone in the room so we walked down to the lobby and asked for replacement sheets and they wouldn't put them on but handed them to us, we went to put them on and they were stained badly also and we're the wrong size… so the third set of sheets was the correct size and only several burn holes and "liquid" stains. We slept fully clothed to protect ourselves, but didn't get much sheep anyway with the bed Springs poking through and I'm sure sleeping on a piece of plywood would have been more comfortable. We would have been better off staying at a random motel 6 somewhere…

This place is gross. Rooms are horrible. Dirty and cheap. As I was leaving I had to listen to a group of people complaining about bed bugs. Which totally disgusted me. Especially when the hotel finally admitted they knew they had a bug problem. I will never be back. And you shouldn't go either.

The location isn't the best, the room smelled odd upon entry, the bottom pads of the bed were coming loose and has staples sticking out, the refrigerator didn't stay very cold, causing its upper freezer to melt a bit from time to time, the air conditioner constantly leaked, the sink and bathroom had roaches, the vending machines seemed abandoned, the pool was poorly maintained, and I had to get my key card registered to my door TWICE. Buuuuut the staff were friendly, they had free breakfast, and the Wi-Fi was pretty solid. But I'll be honest, its only real redeeming quality is the Wi-Fi.

If you've ever wanted to share a grimy residence with human equivalents of dirty gum that sticks to the bottom of your shoe — and pay about $60 for it — then this is the hotel for you. You'll easily spot the faded, peeling yellow of this Days Inn from the road, right next to a "hospital" that very obviously used to be a strip mall. Pull in to the parking lot where you will be kindly greeted by some questionable characters pushing a shopping cart full of groceries and household needs into the hotel lobby. There's no fitness center here, but you'll get a workout jumping over a 32-pack of toilet paper that falls off their cart as you walk inside! The hotel has a lovely aroma: equal parts cigarette smoke, mothballs, and despair. A winning combination. The interior decor is lacking, but take time to notice the handcrafted charm of the cigarette burns in your bedspread. The old, cracked frames that barely close your room and bathroom door have a certain rustic feel to it, like a quaint B&B from hell. We left 20 minutes after we checked in. Don't waste your money or time coming here.

This definitely lives up to the 1 star rating! I would have taken pictures but it would have been too many to post. Towels, shower curtain, and sheets all were spotty, not to mention very very low quality. Shower curtain looked to be blood stained. Extremely uncomfortable bed and the pillows were paper thin. We folded out the sleeper sofa, because myself and my wife found it more comfortable than the king sized bed. Bathroom walls had holes from where there was once a towel holder, but is now filled with kleenex. Also the same walls were severely flaked and cracked, repaint them. They try to fool you with slightly updated modern looking furniture but its super cheap quality. The only postive was that it was a quick drive to downtown Cincinnati and thats what we wanted, but with only being at the hotel to sleep and being uncomfortable the whole time it wasnt worth the $60 a night we paid. Spend a little more or stay a little farther away. Also the receipt they gave me said check out 12 and they were knocking on the door at like 1105 and then again at like 1125.

They make cleaning every third day. The breakfast very simple, facilities neglected.

Was ok. Need a place to crqsh for a couple of hours while I drove from Toronto to Tennessee. No bugs.

WARNING! BED BUG! WORST stay of my life, if possible would have given negative stars. We picked this place because it was 10 min drive from NKU, & closest possible hotel we found on expedia. The room was full of SMOKING SMELL (even though they claim them as SMOKE FREE PROPERTY). We had to bring air-freshener from car. 1st night we drove 11hr from VA-KY, was mad tired & we slept at 12am. At 2pm I found my hand face were itching. I washed myself and slept again, thought it was the bed sheet and pillow allergy. Next morning my hand and face was like all red. Informed the house keeper & asked to change all the bed sheets, towel and pillow case. As an extra caution, I bought myself new bed sheet and pillow cover to put on their bed. 2nd night we couldn't sleep at all. The next room was watching TV with possible loud volume. We called help desk at 3am & when we turned our light on, I found BED BUG was walking on my hand, & there was another on my pillow. Right away I took it receptionist & he was SILENT. Offered me another room which was exactly similar. We said NO MORE on that awful place & asked for refund. They were like — "We can't refund, since you stayed 2nights & end of stay you want all your money back? " YES! EVEN AFTER SHOWING HIM A LIVE BED BUG & SHOING HIM MY HANDS ALL RED!. After arguing till 4am, they agreed to refund & we left the place immediately. It was a DISGUSTING, SHABBY, DIRTY, FILTHY, NASTY, FRIGHTFUL place!

For the very reasonable price this was a perfectly satisfactory Hotel experience. Hotel staff were very nice and accommodating. The hotel is older and could use a few upgrades but that is why it is so reasonable.

A totally satisfactory experience. Very fast Wi-Fi speed, pleasant enough rooms and friendly staff.

The room was falling apart. The sink faucet came out of its housing, there was exposed outlets that they had stuff plugged in. The bathroom door hinges were loose and so the door didn't shut. No deadbolt lock on the door. No drain stop for the bathtub, and you couldn't turn on just the shower without the faucet running on blast too. The continental breakfast was pitiful. The beadspread had cigarette holes in it. I could go on and on. The good thing is we didn't find any bedbugs!

Not even the one star I'm giving, we stood at the desk for 30 mins before someone even came to check us in! The hotel was dirty inside and out our room had mold in the bathroom half the lights didn't work microwave didn't work, plaster falling off the walls towel racks falling off but to top it off I had two small kids with me and when bath time came around there was no hot water! NO HOT WATER! Heater didn't work and blankets were pretty much sheets. Worst place my family has ever stayed I wouldn't recommend this place to sewer rats.

One star because could not go any lower. Staff attitudes were poor and unfriendly. I forgot my wi fi portable speaker in the room and called later that day and talked with a staff member who found it and said she would turn it over to the manager and have it mailed. After three weeks of calling and talking with the manager and several staff I was lied to numerous times and told several stories. After they realized I was not going to quit calling and asking about my speaker the manager got on the phone and told me he was not responsible for my property. I explained his staff had the item and it was documented in the hotel lost and found. He hung up on me. Reported it to Days Inn Corporate but no help. I guess the manager is enjoying my portable Wi-Fi speaker in his office now. Stay away from this place.

Hotel is being renovated, and looks to be under new management. First room I was given had some lighting issues, but manager quickly switched to another. My guess is that housekeeping or guests are not reporting problems to mgmt. Second room was clean, repainted. Nice fridge and microwave combo. Basic breakfast, cereal, pastries, fruit, and coffee that was surprisingly hot and tasted fresh. If you are looking for the ritz, this isn't that. However, if you're on a budget and looking for a fair deal, this will do. The lobby was a high point. A beautiful 1960s spiral staircase and some new mid century modern style furnishings reminiscent of Broyhill Brasilia pieces. Upon arrival late, the lobby was lit with little tealights. It was peaceful and calming. If you get a room facing the road, I would suggest setting the fan on. A bit of road noise due to the proximity to the highway. Overall, I got my $40 worth.

Lobby looks great. It ends there. The 1st room we got was on the 2nd floor, but there's no elevator & the ceilings are low. (I'm too tall for that. ) Then they moved us to the 1st floor; but the room smelled like someone just finished smoking in there. Then they moved us across the hall. Better. The really nice guy at the front desk brought us a microwave. We could tell that all they did to "renovate" was paint the walls & ceilings & change the carpet. I couldn't bear to walk around barefoot. The bathroom wasn't good. They were using old Ramada shower curtains. There was dirt in the toilet roll holder. The tub was chipped and scared me every time because I thought it was a roach. We stayed 5 days & only got room service once. (Which only consisted of giving us new towels for the bathroom and emptying the trash that had been piling up for days. ) Each other time, we had to go to the front desk to get our own towels. One time I went to the front desk, turned in my old towels & only got a bath towel in return. They said that's all that was available & I should come back later. (Not even after-hours! ) For breakfast, they put out different containers & machines but they're all empty. Really, there's cereal & bread for breakfast. Sometimes apples. Positives: Convenient to Cincinnati. Large rooms *I'm culturally aware & realize this was during Ramadan. However, this is a business & there is no excuse for not rendering services that have been paid for. (Especially without notice. )

Stayed for all star weekend. Was 4 miles from downtown Cincinnati. Took uber for $12 to and from downtown. Staff was friendly. Hotel needs some work but looks like they are slowly renovating the hotel. We stayed for $75 a night. Considering all of the other hotels in the area were $150 and up, we got a fantastic deal. I highly recommend if you are in Cincinnati and don't plan on being in the hotel all that much. If your a hermit or couch potato I don't recommend. Id give them 5 stars for all star weekend. For a stay in Cincinnati can't beat the price.

This used to Be a Rodeway, now they have remodel the place and it look much better then what it used to be. Room looks much better. Office is very attractive, friendly staff and manager is very helpful, breakfast need to be little bit of improvement. I would definitely come back when I am in town and for surely tell my friends and family about this hotel.

Its a motel. They have no bottom rooms cuz a past fire. Not all rooms have fridge, internet is good. Just felt weird here.

1 star is being generous! If you have an option, keep driving because this hotel is just plain GROSS!

After checking in through the bullet-proof glass (described in a previous review), riding the old dirty elevator up to the second floor, walking through a dark corridor to the side of the hotel next to the noisy interstate, and staggering along a failing concrete walkway (I noticed by light of day the next morning, the concrete was being held up by several wooden braces), I arrived in my funk-scented room. Stains on the carpet, dirty towels… the sink leaked on my feet when I tried to shave, as did the ceiling above the bathtub in the morning when the unit upstairs would take a shower. Even with a "Do Not Disturb" sign hanging on the door, a maintenance man entered my room as I was coming out of the bathroom. One night in this place is nearly unbearable.
