It's a great hotel, and the staff is fabulous.

Bedbugs! Had two in my bed when I got up, front desk didn't seem too concerned. Would like to have my money back, not happy.

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, and I travel a lot. I came to Louisville for a professional course or I probably would have never stayed in this type of hotel. I was looking for something simple and close to the building I had to go for my course. They had my reservation messed up and classified me as a “no show” a day before I was supposed to be there. After I thought I got it straightened out, they messed it up again and had me checking out a day before I was supposed to. It claims it’s a “100% smoke free hotel”, but there was a very distinct smoke smell in my room the 3 days I had to stay. Their “hot” breakfast was cold. Whoever cleaned the room kept changing the temperature on the air conditioning and the room temperature was uncomfortable every day that I returned from my class. This has been the worst place I have ever stayed by far.

The rooms stunk, the breakfast area was tiny and very crowded the entire 3 hours. Not in the best part of town and not near anything. Will not ever stay at this location again.

Best value I have seen in a long time. Great rooms, coffee, micro, fridge and a hot breakfast including eggs and sausage. Easily worth $100+ but I got the room online for much, much less.

The location was very convenient, it was close to the airport and downtown. It looks fairly updated all around and is just as any other hotel would be. The rooms are smaller than usual and the bathroom is very compact. The only downfall to staying here was trying to eat breakfast. The area was so small and compact that I had to wait for someone to come out before I could step in. Not enough area to sit and eat, I took my food to my room.

I'm giving 4 stars for "you get what you pay for". The hotel was only $80 for the night so I did not expect much. The first room they gave us smelled like cigarette smoke. The manager on duty quickly found us a 2nd room. That room the AC unit did not work. The manager came down and messed with it (pulling the cover off and testing fuses) and got it to work. No other complaints. The room was clean if a little dated. The location to Kentucky Kingdom was perfect.

The hotel itself is perfectly fine for staying overnight. The beds are comfortable and the rooms were clean. The bathroom was fine however my sink drained very slowly but never presented an issue for me. The hotel was pretty loud but that could be attributed to the local even that drew lots of younger people to the area and the hotel. I was disappointed that the shuttle isn't 24 hours as I was told when I called ahead of time and when I asked about it the hotel did offer to get me a can and pay for it but unfortunately that can did not show however a backup Uber was called for me and I made it to the airport with more than enough time. Airplane noise wasn't much of an issue which is great since this hotel is very close to the airport. Only once was I woken up by a plane and having the air conditioning unit running helped drown out most passing traffic. I would definitely stay here again if needed and would recommend staying here to anyone looking for an overnight hotel to stay at.

We were in town for Kentucky Kingdom. It's very close to that, the convention center, the airport, and many other attractions. Rooms are pretty good. The pool is barely bigger than the tub in my master bath, but decent. Breakfast is ok. Everyone is very friendly.

Staff was very nice with the exception of the man running front desk. Rooms were fairly modern but very run down and bathroom floor was dirty and carpets very stained. Beds were comfortable but for queen they more the size of full. Rooms were small for the price. Location was convenient to airport and Expo and provided ample parking, however neighborhood was questionable with grafitti on neighboring fences etc. And shady looking characters hanging around.

Rooms are small but very clean. Staff is good. This location has a good breakfast in the morning. The only down side is the pool is very small and the fitness gym is just getting started up.

Great staff. Beds are not queen size but still comfy enough. Clean facility. Not the best breakfast but plenty of food. Plenty of lightning in the parking lot and decent security.

Cheap stay and close to the air port. Rooms were average. The gym had a bad leak in the ceiling and they had a trash can to catch all the water. Treadmill did not work. Breakfast ends at 9 and there's only one person Manning the desk and he was never there or would be on the phone forever when I needed him for a new key. Pool looked extremely dirty.

Great hotel, hot breakfast. Good location. 5 minutes to airport.

Great rooms, clean. Pool wasn't uncovered yet outside so disappointed about that so 4 stars. Love how close to Exposition center it is. South Wing is easily within walking distance.

This location is not a great place to stay. We had to go through 3 rooms in two days. The first room was not clean, the second room everything was broken and the room dusty, and the third room the microwave was broken, room dusty and clothes left from last person that stayed. I even found a lottery ticket from March 17th still in the room. This tells me that they are not cleaning the rooms. I wouldn't recommend this location.

After visiting 4 other hotels in Louisville, finally found one with an available room. Since I also needed one that was pet friendly, I was expecting to have to settle with a horrible place. I was very surprised how nice and clean the Sleep Inn was. Very enjoyable stay.

Good location by the airport, comfortable, newly renovated rooms, fast Wi-Fi and hot breakfast in the morning.

We arrived late, pretty close to midnight, so we had to ring a doorbell to get in the front door of this place. When we were greeted by the front desk employee, he was trying to be nice, but failing miserably. He supposedly looked up my reservation, which was for a king bed, with my license, but when we opened the door, it was a double. So I went back to the front desk, I told him I booked a king room, not a double. He then told me that I was in the system for a double. I pulled up my reservation confirmation on my phone and showed him where it said king. WHY even argue with a customer?! So, now it took an extraneous amount of time to check in, my 19 month old was now awake. We got in our room and the bathroom was literally the size of a small closet, the shower was a small stall with a 2 inch gap at the bottom of the door. It was not clean and the shower door mounts were dingy. The room overall was small though there had been an attempt to update it. It was poorly done. THE JET NOISE was miserable, every couple minutes you could hear a jet coming in for landing or taking off just as if you were outside. Absolutely never staying in another Sleep Inn because of this experience. I didn't try the breakfast, but it looked meager and unimpressive, and I thought I'd have an upset stomach for sure if I had tried it.

It was nice and clean. Even let us check in early since we came from Indy. My only complaint,, they didn't apply my reward points to choice or Wyndom. Then when I called, they couldn't find a record of our stay. Less than 4 months ago okay.

Room 202 STINKS! I stayed here Oct 19 2017. The stay here isn't all that bad unless you mind the smell of musty mildew. We asked the night "General Manager" as his name tag identified him, about getting another room. He had no other rooms available so he gave us some Lysol to help neutralize the odor. That worked temporarily. We came back from dinner and it still stank… Long story short, after dealing with the nice GM at night, and the pleasant ladies there in the morning, they let me know nicely that the owner of the hotel probably wouldn't do anything to remediate the issue. I won't stay at this hotel. It's not simply because 1 room stank or because the hallway floors are all stained up. It's because the employees already KNOW the owner doesn't really care enough about the customer to help resolve problems. I won't stay here again until I know there's a new owner.

I stayed with this establishment on 9/30. I was in town on business but as I understand there was a big concert in town this night as well. I made my reservation in advance and had a confirmation number. The gentlemen working the front desk was extremely rude and informed my business partner that there was no room available even though we had a reservation. I understand that he was busy but his attitude was atrocious. To name a few, his exact words were "I can't give you a room we don't have" and "try the hotel across the street". The gentlemen did manage to miraculously find our room after I voiced my extreme displeasure. Again, I understand it was a busy night but if he had just asked us to wait a moment while he worked it out the whole unpleasant exchange could have been avoided. His attitude was completely uncalled for. In the future I will likely avoid staying with Sleep Inns.

Great stay. Clean, comfortable, god size and no issues. Perfect place to stay for business or pleasure. Everything I expect from a hotel stay while visiting a theme park.

In town for a football game. Beds were fine, the rooms were updated and clean. All the TV you could possibly need. Staff was very kind and welcoming. I skipped breakfast but looked basic.

Rooms are nice and clean, there's a "go green theme here. Every thing is allegedly recycled and that's cool Brandi the front desk lady was very nice and helpful. Let us check in early and even charge us. She actually gave us 200 extra bonus points. Now we have a free night! Thanks choice hotels!

Stayed in this hotel last night. The ceiling of our room on the first floor had a large leak and the carpet was wet around the closet and window. It was apparent that this room has experienced numerous ceiling leaks in the past.

The hotel was nice, clean, and conveniently located to our event. For the price and location it was a great fit! Staff was nice, and helpful.

The service was exceptional. The rooms are neat and clean. The door to our room was hard to shut and the ice machine was not working.

Nice friendly place. Room spacious. Outdoor pool, exercise room. Area alittle congested as near airport, but not bad. Places nearby to eat. Had alittle problem with air conditioning and they were at the door to fix it almost before I hung up the phone! I'd stay there again.

This was my first stay at a stateside Sleep Inn and I was disappointed. Rooms are on the smaller end with full size versus queen beds. When I went to the front desk, he said they only have full sizes in double rooms and to check my reservation. It did say doubles which I misconstrued as queen — my bad! Bathroom has mildew on shower door sides that was not cleaned during our 4 day stay. Housekeeping knocked (banged) at 0830 which is too early for most. Door tabs to not disturb are not available. I tried to get her to come back and she did not comprehend and gave us towels when I asked about taking out the trash. We took it out ourselves since she did not come back. I mentioned to front desk as well as left note to not come before 1000. They complied with that request. Also check-in loyalty bonus not given. Air conditioning recycles and turns off during early morning waking us up due to the increased warmth. Finally, noisy barking dog for 2 of our days — very, very unsettling!

We were there for a basketball tournament. We saved lots of money because we could walk to the expo center. The room is small and bathroom is small but it's comfortable for the location. I wasn't crazy about the front desk lady when we got there but a few days later, I found out that they work her like a dog there and she was tired. She turned out to be really nice and took care of us in a pinch. Food was good even though I didn't eat everything. It was sausage, waffle makers, eggs, yogurt, bread, biscuits and gravy and fruit and juice. Overall, good hotel!

Last minute booking during a very busy weekend. Prices where $149 a night for a 2 full size beds. The toilet would not flush to save your life, thankfully the maid left a plunger. Beds where comfy but nothing special. The shower was interesting, the shower door had a 2 inch gap at the bottom so water would splash out on to the floor. I would of rather paid at most $100 a night but again it was a busy weekend and every other hotel in the area was booked.

Their website said it was 18 miles from our destination, turned out being 40 so we traveled an hour nearly to the rehearsal and wedding each trip. The shower had no safety strips and slipped and got hurt. 2 towels in the room total. Overall disappointed.

Our stay included two nights. When we came back to our room for the second night we came into our room and no one had been in the room to clean. We did not get fresh towels or the bed made. I've never had that happen at a hotel. The bed is decent. No bed bugs, so that's a plus. The shower is okay. The air conditioner unit leaked water on the carpet. I mean we didn't pay a lot for the stay, so I guess you get what you pay for. Hotels are just hit and miss. This was a big miss!

Didn't bother to honor request for two rooms near each other, breakfast out of food early without bring replaced, and even with no hours posted at pool kicked kids out who were playing quietly. Definitely not impressed. Oh and noisy ac in one of the rooms.

Very nice hotel for the price. The breakfast was good. McDonald's and taco bell next door n nice convenience store. Hotel just remodeled everything is new. They are pet friendly and have free airport shuttle very close airport would be good crash pad for pilots on cheap side. Room had microwave and fridge. Bus route outside bus line 18 n 45. Highly recommend.

I love this place. Great overall value for the area. They serve a respectable breakfast. The rooms and facilities are clean. Location is great for quick access to the Louisville metro area.

Hotel clerk was nice. Rooms were clean AMD price was good.

I know it's next to the airport but it felt like it was at the end of the runway. A plane flies over every 2 to 5 minutes. Hard to sleep with that much air traffic.

It was awful before we even got to the hotel! Don't bother calling, ever. No one answers the phones. I was left on hold for over 10 minutes, so I hung up and called back 7 times. Each time I called it would just ring and ring and ring and ring over a 30 minute time spand. On my 6th try someone finally picked up the phone but then immediately hung up. So I called yet again and a man answered the phone. I asked him why no one bothered to answer the phones, was there an accident or an emergency, he said no nothing that he knew of. Then proceeds to tell me that he had just gotten there and the man before him on duty had left 10 minutes ago! I then told him about how I've been calling and put on hold for over 30 minutes and he was so rude! Kept trying to interrupt me and talk over me to asking me if I was wanting to make a reservation, didn't care at ALL about the issue. After my fiancé and I got to the "hotel" and got to our room we then found a nasty woman's THONG in our sheets that looked like it had been there for days! We inform the front desk and they offered to remove the thong! After fighting with the man at the front desk he finally moved us to a different room. The next room had a broken micro wave and was just gross all around. The man at the front desk told us that the manager would be informed with a note the next day when HE would get there at 9AM.

Stayed here before and I love the circular shower and the people at desk so nice the breakfast is awesome and the rooms nice clean and roomy.

The location is great and the rooms are fabulous it really is a home away from home. The service was great as well especially the house keeper on the Second Floor by thr name of Justin Young.

Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Will stay there again.

Construction woke us up early, the staff used the lobby as a babysitting area. One of the staffs kids played on the computer when guests were waiting to use it, had the volume turned on high on a video game. Very unprofessional, I do not recommend staying here. It was $207 for that experience as well. Very unhappy.

You definitely get your moneys worth. I came out late for breakfast and they still got me some. The room service lady also came out to my car to return a forgotten item. Also nice showers.

Sleep Inn is a nice place to stay. Clean, updated rooms and friendly staff made for an excellent stop.

Very small beds. Incredibly thin walls. Mold in the shower. Needs updated.

If you need a place to stay for the night or a few days. Stay here! Our stay was great. Place was clean and staff are very friendly. Breakfast is freshly made every morning. If I ran into a problem I talked to the manager Brandon, he was very understanding. Definantly going to stay again.
