Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BOOK HERE. Came in from afternoon at Theme park and room was 97 degrees and upstairs of building burning hot. Downstairs where the worker are was cool. Toilet had urine on the seat. I thought I would stay here cause the reviews were just OK but 3 star out 5 I should of knew. beware.

Friendly front desk & breakfast staff, quiet and big open concept in the rooms, especially the jacuzzi suite.

There was no one available at the front desk when I arrived it took several minutes for someone to arrive. My room smelt extremely musky and was so humid the bed was sticky. The tape was peeling off the ceiling right over the bed from water damage. My pillow had blood stains on it and their were foreign hairs also in the bed. I’m normally impressed by choice hotels but not this time.

The hotel does not have an elevator which is not disclosed before check-in. The lady day attendant was very courteous and helpful. The man night attendant was rude and hateful. They did not hold the correct room for our reservations and made threats to increase the price. The rooms were nice and the breakfast was very nice with plenty of hot and cold options. If the night attendant and elevator were not part of the equation I would have rated the hotel with 4 stars.

Card was charged twice for stay three days ago, yet to have one charge taken off. Lady at check in made error but I have to pay the price due to being charged twice of overdraft fees caused. Sorry was only given, I feel a free nights stay should have been given in their error. Be careful when checking in! Also, two random men knocked on door during the night (1 am). Outside door does not look on side of hotel for security. NO air conditioning in hallways & NO elevator.

We were going to HolidayWorld & Splashing Safari & didn't want to deal with a crowded hotel. This place was clean, quiet & the staff were courteous.

Room was abundantly sized. Staff was friendly. Quick check-in. Clean and comfortable. Quiet location.

Very comfortable, clean, good price and good breakfast.

In the middle of Nowhere, USA and still expecting $80 a night. Come on! What's the attraction?

Very gross, stayed in a 'suite' forw 109$ dollars and felt like we needed a full body scrub afterwards. Bathroom smelled strongly like urine, and there wasn't even an elevator. We had to carry our luggage up two flights of stairs. Would not recommend.

If I could give this hotel 0 stars I would. It is DISGUSTING! stayed here with my family while on vacation to holiday world and the sheets had blood on them! They also take cash deposits (even if you pay with debit or credit) and try to find any and every reason not to give it back to you! My family and I decided to check out an entire day early due to the disgusting rooms they have! Trust me when I say it but absolutely DO NOT rent this hotel! I wasted $200 on it and wish we would've just stayed at home instead! Also, while checking out at 10pm because we just couldn't handle how gross it was. We had to wait 45 minutes for a manager to get there to check us out whom of which was "spending some time at the fair" no customers should have to wait that long for anything. This place is God awful!

This hotel is updated, nice and clean. We choose this hotel due to the location of Holiday World in Santa Claus, IN. According to all the information on the websites, it was about 13 miles from Holiday World to this Quality Inn and Lewisport, KY. Once you plug the address into a GPS it will show you about 30 miles and 30-40 minutes to this location. If we would have know this first had we probably would have opted for a hotel closer to the interstate and not farther from it. I have no complaints about the hotel, breakfast had a new pancake maker that made them at the touch of a button in about 2 minutes. It was cleaner and nicer from the waffle makers most Choice Hotels have. It has an outdoor pool but the timing and weather didn't cooperate for us to take advantage of it. We had a King room with a sofa bed that was very room, we did have to ask for blankets for the sofa bed but got them quickly. This room was clean as well as the hotel. Just disappointed about the distance from Holiday World. We are not the Jetson's or drive by drone to get places.

This hotel should receive no stars! Our room smelled like cigarettes & mold. The whole second floor smelled bad. The breakfast was nothing to brag about. The bathroom ceiling tile was falling in the shower. There is no internet connection and the computer they have for customers did not work. This should be a motel 6.

The room (114) was so humid the sheets felt damp. The lights at the front of the room didn't work and they knew it (there was a note on the front desk about my room and two others when I went to tell them this). I could see water damage around the lights — which I guess may have been part of both the light issue and the humidity in the room. I was told (by the manager) that there were no other rooms available and that while he would normally discount our room with a partial refund — he couldn't because we booked online. About 20-30 minutes later, after the police apparently came and kicked someone out, the manager offered to move us to that room. I was not interested in moving my now sleeping children to a room that was just occupied by others who had to be forcefully removed by police at 1:30 AM — especially when I know house-keeping does not work overnight hours. I was just hoping for a few hours of sleep before continuing a multi-day trip at that point. Unfortunately, that would not occur, it turns out sleeping on damp sheets (unlike pulling a dame t-shirt from the dryer) keeps them damp and is quite uncomfortable. When I filed a complaint with Choice Hotels — they said the hotel averages less than 1 complaint per year (I highly doubt that given the reviews — both on their own site and some others) it was closed by them after the manager from the hotel called and offered me half off my next one night stay.

It was awful, After arriving quite late (12:30 AM — we called ahead and had the late arrival approved, BTW), the room was more humid than my hometown on the Atlantic Ocean during July. The bed sheets were moist from the humidity. The front lights and bathroom lights weren't working — which they knew (my husband took a picture of the note pad they had written room issues for our room and 2 others on, while waiting for the overnight clerk (turned out to be GM) to address him the first time he went to the desk to let them know of the issues. He said he would've offered us a discount refund but since we booked online he couldn't. Then he said he could refund our money and we could go elsewhere as there were no other rooms.
We don't know the area and from what we saw it would've been at least another half hour to any other hotel. Later (about 1:30 AM) he offered us a pre-used, recently forcefully vacated by the police room — Uhhh gross! Housekeeping does not work over night hours any I've ever been before and I have no interest sharing (more than usual) bed germs with strangers. Plus my kids had fallen asleep by then. I had hoped for a few hours of sleep at least, but nope — turns out that unlike lightly moistened t-shirts from the dryer, sheets remain moist and uncomfortable while you lay on/under them.

Beautiful and nestled in the quiet Kentucky Countryside just on the Ohio River. Clean room comfy beds and a great price. I will certainly stay there again.

Seemed like a busy night but the staff knew what they were doing. Very clean hotel and the pool was a great way to have fun and relax.

Easy drive to Holiday World. Clean, quiet, and comfortable.

This place has a big bug problem, body lice. Any body with the last name patel is a lieing relative of the manager whom only want to boost the raiting of their hotel.

Staff is very friendly. Price is always comparable. I had a great stay. The rooms were cleaned very well. I would definitely visit this location again. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Owner is a crook. Outrageous prices and sub par rooms. First room the smoke detector battery was dead and the owner had better things to do. Moved rooms against my will and that rooms deadbolt didn't work and the bathroom fan was open and falling apart.

Best place to stay, nice staff, clean room rooms and price is very resnebale. Nice place to stay nice and quiet.

Found a rat by the refrigerator, rooms stink, unprofessional management, windows covered in bugs.

Rooms were great only problem was its being remodeled so the smell gets to you sometimes.
