The company my husband and I are out here working for put us here until our apartment is ready. It's been a nice little place for us. The room was beautifully clean when we arrived and it is a lovely set up. I've appreciated having a kitchenette.

I had a wonderful time and experience. Miss Della & Miss Pam we're awesome and very helpful. I am coming back on my next vacation. Clean rooms close to downtown and an all out great hotel to stay when come to Lexington at Tates Creek. Thanks very much Della and Pam.

The staff was really nice and the two ladies at the front desk the manager was the best really good place 2 stay and food is right beside hotel nice stay!

For a "100%" non-smoking hotel (their claim) this place 100% smelled like cigarettes. There were whiskey bottles hidden under the mattress, toenail clippings in the corner, a little dog yapping loudly at 4am, Eminem-looking guy wandering through the parking lot at midnight aggressively accosted another guest, bed was uncomfortable, a standard def signal on the HDTV, cheap toilet paper, horrible coffee… That said, the staff was very nice, no bedbugs and they had free shaving cream and toothpaste.

Excellent service and a decent rate. Big room and no hassle paying. Traffic is a problem.

The hotel itself is probably 3-stars. It's a hotel, the rooms have kitchens. There's no real decoration or notable architecture. It's pretty feature sparse, I don't even think it has an ice machine or anything. The staff was very friendly though! They were always happy to help us get stuff and they were usually in a fine mood.

Low price, but no frills. Bed not great, no coffee in room, loud plumbing, paper thin walls and floors. Can hear people walking above us. But clean enough and low price. Desk manager was nice. Allows dogs for $25.

People working at the office are very friendly. They made the stay great. The hotel itself lacks typical amenities you would expect but it worked for us for a 2 night stay.

I like the place, it feel like home but I want thank a very special young lady della for helping me. She was super sweet an nice! Thank you for making my time here go I will be coming back.

Staff super helpful and friendly. Only complaints are when we checked in our room, during my security sweep of the room found out the window was unlocked and we were at ground level. Nothing came up missing but was a huge red flag. Also saw a drug deal go down in the back lot were we parked near our room. The breakfast was nice and easy, nothing fancy just packaged muffins and granola bars.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was a choice of granola bars or muffins and tea or coffee. It was fine for staying just one night. Connecting to the Wi-Fi was difficult, but once connected, the speed was fine.

I have stayed here many times but the most recent stay the management ask me to leave they said the smelled smoke in the hall way and blamed me. It wasn't there was no proof besides a smell in a hall and I had just paid for the room $87.00. I have contacted my lawyer I feel in total violation of my rights and taking action they will not get away with this. Don't stay he they are rude and will kick you out after you pay and accuse you without proof and no refund.

It was a great stay, its very close to stores/restaurants the room was very clean and the hotel was quiet. I would definitely stay there again.

You are not going to find a nicer place to stay for the price you pay. The grab and go breakfast was a nice addition as well. The staff was so great, they were more concerned about guest happiness than other, 'nicer' hotels I have stayed at. I would come here again.

Horrible will never stay at any extended stay ever again. Staff verry unfriendly try to call front desk never get an answer. If I can could give it 0 stars in would but that is not an option on here.

Room was clean. Some of the room was a little dated but bedding and majority of furniture seemed fairly new. Nothing special. Kind and courteous staff. Found a great rate and for the price paid was very satisfied. I would stay here again.

The people who work here are very friendly. The rooms are clean. It's probably the nicest place I've stayed at in Lexington! There is no elevator but it didn't matter much. Nice and quiet. The breakfast isn't much of a breakfast, just coffee and granola bars. The Wi-Fi works pretty well. I will for sure be staying here on my next trip to Lexington.

I came in town late and when every hotel was booked and ignored my reservation this hotel made me one on the spot and got me a room right then and there no if ands or buts about it. I paid a bit more than I wanted but it was worth it it was nice in a new renovated room at that with a stove and fridge and all it was nice and I will go back.

While the staff was friendly, I thought the hotel itself was disappointing. It is in dire need of a remodel. The whole place is out of date and the kitchen was especially out of date. And poorly appointed. I would not stay there again unless they remodeled it and wouldn't refer people there either. I stayed here in the Fall of 2013.

This place is ridiculous. It smells like smoke, the linens we not clean, and the front counter staff is a group of completely incompetent women. I was told over the phone when I made my reservation that I was booking a 2 bedroom suite. The "bedrooms" consist of 1 bedroom and the living room with a fold out couch bed. I have never encountered a hotel that considers a hide-a-bed accommodations to call a room a 2 bedroom suite. On top of that, the rate of 97.99 I booked was not honored. The last day was was charged to my card at a rate of 113 and I was never informed, either over the phone when booking or at any other point of conversation with the front desk. I only found this after looking at my receipt after checkout. On top of that, consistently when walking through the front, the person working the front, instead of being behind the counter, they were sitting in the lobby with the TV on and a laptop out while hanging out with another girl in PJs. Completely unprofessional service and an overall dirty room are what you get here. There are so many other options in this city. Avoid this place run by a bunch of losers.

Unless you are a smoker, do NOT stay at this Extended Stay location. The smoking floor is on the first floor, and the ventilation is terrible. My kids would literally hold their breath in the stairwells to avoid the strong smell of smoke, and all of our clothes smell faintly of stale smoke. My worst experience ever. The staff is fairly nice and tries, but there isn't much they can do about this. It is also a pretty run-down Extended Stay. The owner needs to shut this down and completely renovate as well as fix the ventilation and not put the smoking floor on the first floor. I rarely write reviews, but want to warn others.

Had to stay here 6 nights as we were waiting to move into our new home. Large back lot for our UHaul. Pet friendly. Simple rooms and lobby. No frills. Clean. Quiet. Nice to have kitchen during our stay with fridge, stove, microwave, coffee pot, cabinets, and dishes/pans. Bed was comfortable enough. Had a pull out couch for our two young boys. Cable tv. Alarm clock. Phone. Closet space (would have liked hangers. ) Friendly staff. Good location. Overall, a good experience if you need a longer stay.

This is a wonderful place to stay overnight or long term. Every room has a kitchen and pots and pans and dishes. You just bring your clothes. The staff is wonderful, friendly, energetic, helpful-you name it! It is the only hotel on Tates Creek Road and should not be overlooked. It is close to anything you might need: Thornton's, CVS, and wonderful restaurants: Harry's, Sal's, Malones, Nagasaki's, Cheddars, Waffle House, Little Caesar's. The rooms are clean and if you need anything all you have to do is ask.

We stayed at the Tates Creek Extended Stay America during the weekend of the Equestrian show. We were told that the room rates were supposed to be $150 a night, but we got our room through a travel site for $60. If we'd paid $150, I would have been very unhappy. The refrigerator and medicine cabinet still had items from previous guests (razor blades and sanitary napkins in the bathroom). The bed was very hard. Very cheap looking. There was no shampoo in the room, however the staff found one bottle of leftover shampoo for me to use. Overall, for $60 it was an ok room, but to raise prices for events with that level of quality is not a good idea.
