We came for our anniversary rooms are spacious enough nice walking path nice balconies. Beach is just a few steps away it's Hawaii how can it not be beautiful!

Wonderful location to visit all of the island.

Few feet away from Coconut Marketplace and the resort was clean. It is equipped with full kitchen and they have grill station within the vicinity. Our unit was on the ground and we have patio where we can relax. Our unit was very close to the beach…. 2 thumbs up on our stay….

The staff here is amazing :) pool and pool bar are great! It is home away from home.

One pool is not nice when there is a lot of kids in the pool. There should be an adult pool and a kids pool separate. Not fun when there are many kids in pool and you are trying to enjoy the pool at the same time.

Beautiful resort, clean rooms and environment. Limited activities and pool and spa was closed down early. Not sure why since everyone is social distancing. Restaurant at resort only open Thursday through Sunday night. Luckily there a great market across the driveway with a wonderful deli. Nice!

I had an overall pleasant dinner experience. Parking wasn't an issue. Wait time was around 5 minutes with a reservation but we did arrive ahead of reservation time. Drink options were plentiful and good. Food was good although the pork chop special was somewhat bland. Overall good kaua'i drink or dinner option.

Kauai Cost Resort is a quiet resort on the beach with 1 and 2 bedroom ocean and garden views with a full kitchen, washer, dryer, outdoor, grill, swimming pool and whirlpool. Great beach access but most everyone is in the pool. There is a pool bar that that serves daily lunch specials. The on premise restaurant is great. It is adjacent to the coconut market place which has a couple of clothes and souvenir shops, ABC store, and a nice little Italian restaurant. We always have a great time there especially if we can get an ocean view. There are beautiful sunrises an at night moonbeams on the ocean when the moon is out.

My family loves going to the Beachboy! Fun for families and couples. Right on the beach with excellent views and beach access. Great for walking, swimming, and snorkeling. Nice restaurant and bar by the pool. Wake up early for the sun rise, take a swim mid morning, then to the pool and bar in the afternoon. ABC store and shops within walking distance and a Safeway and Longs just down the road.

Such a great Resort! I was very impressed with how they helped with the wedding for my friends and the Neal's. Considering our group was vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free with omnivores they did a great job! The rooms are spacious and clean and we had an issue with her air conditioning they were on top of it! I would actually like to see if I could bring a Stress Management Retreat there next year.

Beautiful resort right on the ocean! This resort has a nice outdoor pool, kids pool and hot tub. Outdoor chess board, and Connect Four are a couple of games in the activities area. Beautiful lanai area with gas grills and fireplaces for guests to use for private parties.

We liked Chantry at the pool bar. Local girl with great stories of the Island. Made you feel at home amdMakes a tasty strawberry or mango margarita. Resort rooms seemed to be fully stocked & very cold a/c! Beautiful beach but too rough to swim.

We are staying in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit that appears to be recently redecorated. It is clean and comfortable, but not luxurious. The grounds and pool are attractive. The beach is rocky, and you cannot swim in the ocean.

Paradise. Phenomenal location, walkable to a nice market, beautiful landscape and plenty of areas to relax. Made it hard to leave the resort. Our room was updated and very nice.

Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… The Hukilau Lanai at the Kauai Coast Resort reservations only for a reason they Rock Foods great. If you absolutely must attempt to eat without a reservation you can always eat at the bar I do. There's also a lovely pool bar out in the yard between the restaurant and the ocean. These folks go out of their way to source the ingredients locally.

The grounds are beautiful and we love the staff and our fellow guests. The pace is perfect for relaxing. All you need is across the parking lot at the Coconut Marketplace. This is our fourth visit to Kauai so our goal is to hang loose. Mission accomplished.

The views are awesome. Walkways between resorts lets you walk about 1/2 mile round trip for early morning strolls. Facilities are clean and spacious. Felt very safe and secure.

The staff is very helpful and the grounds are clean and lush with flowers and greenery. Palm trees reach high to the blue sky and even a few roosters, hens and little chicks keep the area alive and happy! The ocean waves and breezes are mesmerizing!

Great service everyone is so friendly. The rooms are a little outdated but it has a cozy feel. The grounds are great and the view is breath taking. Highly recommend going here if your looking at going to Kauai.

I have to change my review. The management and staff here made everything right and then some. The manager Troy personally called me and went above and beyond to fix the situation. The massage staff is amazing and maintenance staff are incredibly friendly. They offered us a brand new room where we would have Wi-Fi and I am so impressed with their staff. Great place to stay and we will definelty be coming back. No Ka Oi!

Went for Valentine's dinner, beautiful displayed dinners. Exquisite cuisine, very beautiful landscape around restraunt. A must do.

Pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the grounds are, admittedly my expectations were not terribly high. The service and staff are impecablely reaponsive and friendly. Rooms are not modern but very clean and the beds are perfect. Definitely recommend for someone not looking for luxury but instead instead a cozy solid above average place to stay.

Stayed in a two bedroom unit. The hotel is undergoing renovations so it would be unfair to give a review when the unit we were in had not been done yet, but was definitely in need of a lot of upgrading. I will say the unit was spacious and if the refurbishment is done well, it should be a great place to stay. The grounds are beautiful and the beach is steps away.

Can't beat the view from our balcony. The staff is friendly and helpful. You will be asked to attend a timeshare presentation, but it's low-key and low — pressure. My only problem is the resort is overdue for renovation and needs more comfortable furniture, but I hear it's coming soon. Still lovely though!

It is a nice resort. Small pool and hot tub for the number of rooms. Nice rooms, but has a hotel feel to the rooms. Good furniture, nice bed. Good front desk. Biggest problem was at check-in. They require you to speak to the timeshare sales people in order to get your parking pass and internet sign on. This is absurd. I had to wait in line and tell them 3 times that I did not want to do a timeshare presentation in order to get my parking pass. I would rate them 4 stars if not for this.

The Hukilau Lanai at the Kauai Coast Resort reservations only for a reason they Rock Foods great. If you absolutely must attempt to eat without a reservation you can always eat at the bar I do. There's also a lovely pool bar out in the yard between the restaurant and the ocean. These folks go out of their way to source the ingredients locally.

Great location. Love the tiki lights in the gardens and around the pool. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed to cook a meal. Perfect size for two couples. Yoga on the beachside at 8 am was lovely. Mike, the pool bartender made great Restaurant selections and the Hukilau Restaurant at the resort had the BEST food on the island. Stands up to the highest rated! The lobster goat cheese wontons, sweet potato ravioli and ahi nachos were amazing! Only negative is the time share pressure but we just ignored it.

Very relaxing, next to the ocean. Took amazing photos from room balcony. All shopping across the parking lot with farmers market 2 times a week and close Island entertainment. Took a ukulele lesson before leaving. Took in many sites.

Fabulous location with beautiful views of and access to the beach. Professional and helpful staff. The room was spacious, well kept, and packed with amenities. First floor rooms give you 2 sliding doors for access to outside. The only issue experienced during this visit was a slow draining shower drain. Definitely recommended as a beach resort to stay at while in Kauai.

Wonderful location, a little bit worn, but only a little bit. Great pools, great beach views (it's located directly on the beach) and perfect central location for all your Kauai adventures. Lots of nearby stores and restaurants, will definitely try to return here if life permits. :)

The service, concierge, pools, rooms, and restaurant where excellent! There is a noticeable difference between this resort and others we ventured onto while visiting. The plants, lighting, everything is just better quality. This will be where we stay when we come back to Kauai!

Friendly service and a gorgeous hotel, this is a great place to spend your time on Kauai. It's not quite a ritzy as the more recognized names on the island, but is still beautiful-the rooms are comfortable and spacious, the lobby well apportioned and stately, and the grounds and pool well maintained and stunning. Come on by!

Truth be told we were going to the beach and walked by. The grounds were well kept and the guests looked happy. The main demographic I saw were older… More retirement aged.

Superb facility, great location. Quiet and pleasant, with wonderful facilities. Whatever the hotel doesn't offer is available at the Coconut Marketplace next door. The service we received was extraordinary. I am disabled, and use a mobility device. Often people in my situation take a discount, if you will, in the service we receive. We are invisible, or a problem. I have been very pleasantly surprised here, and look forward to visiting again in the future.

Great atmosphere. Great service. You will find some of the freshest food on the island here.

It's an awesome place. I was really sceptical about all the positive recessions, but there was nothing to worry about. Of course, it is not a full service hotel! It is a time share facility, which can also be booked by non time share owner (like we did). But for a reasonable price, you get a nice, big condo which is very well maintained. Everything worked without any glitches, there was a good kitchen, washing machine with dryer, aircon worked perfectly and the 2-bedroom comes with two bathrooms. Beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. For Europeans, don't be afraid of old and worn out furniture if you look at the pictures, the furniture is just more a "traditional style" but pretty new/in good condition. The pool area is amazing and the hot pool is especially relaxing when it is raining ;) There are even some Weber barbecues standing around which can be used for free. We didn't have any issues with the service, everytime we had an issue, somebody came to fix it. We also had a false fire alarm in the middle of the night which was awful, but one cannot blame the hotel for it and after it, we were sure, we definitely won't miss the alarm when there is a real fire. Regarding the time share presentation, we attended it, as we were curious how it works and you get some nice discounts for it. But I am sure, you can skip it if you don't want to.

Very dissapointed! We checked in to our condominium around 10:30 at night to find roaches coming out of the refrigerator and cabinets. I called the front desk to see if there was anything they could do since I had a 7 month old baby with me and it was just not sanitary! I was informed that this is what the island came with and there were no other rooms available to be moved! We immediately looked up somewhere else to stay and booked our family of 4 at the Marriott where they had No roaches! When I came back the next day the manager did give me a full refund since I had already paid in full, but she also informed me that Kauai is a tropical island. German roaches are not tropical.

This is by far the best condo resort (for some a timeshare) in Kapaa. For our family, we stay in the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite 5 nights at a time when we can get a great deal online. The spacious partial ocean view suite can easily sleep 6. Plenty of closet and dresser space. The master has double sinks! The kitchen is fully stock (including basic seasonings and saran wrap) and has a dining table that sits 6. Free Wifi is fast! We have housekeeping come by everyday to clean our suite. And we do all our laundry (detergent is included) using the side-by-side washer and dryer before going home. The tropical grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The three story buildings have no elevators. You have to walk up the gradual carpeted staircases if your room is on either the second or third floors. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Pool food and resort restaurant (dinner only) is Island favorite Hukilau Lanai. There is no daily resort fee! Only cons are that there isn't much of a beach to walk on or lay on and the pool is small.

Love the resort. Everything about our stay and our wedding there was amazing. We had a mix up with our room reservation and they made last minute changes to find us a room. Great staff.

We have stayed at Kauai Coast Resort at the Beachboy for a week every October for several years. We will be returning in just a few weeks. The condos have always been clean and well cared for. There isn't a bad view from any of the rooms. We enjoy the pool, poolside bar, and Hukelani Restaurant. The staff is very accommodating.

We just spent two weeks at the Kauai Coast Resort at the Beachboy, and absolutely loved it! Our room was about 25 yards from the ocean. Staff was wonderful; very gracious and friendly. We loved the location as we were about equal distance from both the North and South shores. We ate five times at the Hukalou Lanai, and had excellent service and food every time. The room was very comfortable, although the air conditioner condensation kept making puddles on the floor. Minor inconvenience. Overall, one of the best vacations we've had.

Great location, excellent service. Don't pay extra for "ocean view" as "garden view" isn't much different. Happy hour deals were good, and the pool was great. Nice to have a workout room too! Restaurant was top-notch and pricy, but I'm more likely to walk over to the supermarket for something to toss in the microwave. Nice to have laundry in room-now I can only pack half the clothes and save on airline baggage fees. All things considered, it was a great week, and I'd love to go back.

My wife and I booked online, stayed for 5 nights. A large condo with separate bedroom, full kitchen, washer and dryer, very clean and odor free. A very nice room! Quiet, and situated close enough to hear the waves on the beach. The staff could not do enough to help and even though they wanted to interest us in the "time share" after we declined that was the end of it. We will come back as this fits our needs perfectly. (Make sure you get the "the Ultimate Kauai Guidebook". Or as it is known. "Blue guide book" A must to read. ) This is the place for people who just like a great place to stay and want to be comfortable and welcome. Just remember. In Kauai good manners and a warm smile gets you that and more in return. Aloha.
