Helpful and friendly Staff. Clean, modern room with comfy beds. Within walking distance to Historic Downtown.

This hotel is full of bull. Dont be fooled by the smiles. Bed bugs yes. They do have. Housekeepers do rush jobs on cleaning. I was let go because I had pnuemonia. Had a doctors note and everything. I walked off because upon entering my work shift I let the manager know amongst other staff members I wasnt feeling well. Also I was accused of telling others in fort scott about the bed bugs that were found in 204… I jus moved here so I did not even know anyone. Any way I dont know if the hotel ever called professional exterminators but I do know bed bugs were found by an employee. Now they can say Im telling it because I am today. I dont think they wanted someone black working better than them. I got nothing but negativity everyday when I went to work. They never said good job. I walked off only 1 time but im fired. Their favorite employees are always late calling in and they still have a job… Id say it is some racial profiling here. My opinion. Its up to you to stay…

Rooms are clean and spacious. The air conditioning works well and the room comes with a microwave and mini fridge.

Extremely easy to get to. The woman at the front desk was very nice. The breakfast was actually good. I travel for a living and most hotels I go to have a horrible breakfast.

Great hospitality from this clean and well maintained hotel. We stayed for a baseball tournament and when we arrived in our room the staff had left a note for us wishing us good luck in our tournament and a box of Cracker Jack. It’s the small things that count!

Really nice, new accommodations, friendly staff. Alicia was excellent and gave me a great tip on visiting Gunn Park. It’s a hidden gem as you drive through the back around the lake and stream. Fort Scott is a lovely town with wide, brick-paved streets and interesting shops. It’s the type of place you want to walk around on a nice day.

They always make my stay easy and comfortable. I feel totally safe staying there as a woman traveling alone and coming and going late at night and walking my dog. Staff is always friendly and curtious. I don't stay anywhere else in Fort Scott Ks.

Its a great place to stay I give it ten stars if I cud n the staff was outstanding and friendly, I stayed there for about 5 months on business n they were great and thats alot coming from me.

Top-Notch! I was extremely impressed with the staff's hospitality. They went above and beyond the normal service you would get an any other hotel. Each morning, at 4:30am, they packed my dad and I breakfast in a bag for our hunting trip. They even went as far as washing and folding our clothes for us! Needless to say, I will be staying at this hotel again in two months & I highly recommend it to any other fellow hunters staying in the Fort Scott area. ***If you're in town to hunt, make sure to mention this when booking your room. They will give you the hunters rate which saved us $28.00 per night!

Family had to stay here due to a house fire, my wife 2kids and 2 dogs and myself house keeping complained day 1 about the dogs, saying they were tearing up the room, keep in mind both dogs are inside dogs have been all their life, not a thing has been been touch but yet they call our insurance company who is paying for the stay and tell them we have to leave. So now we are looking for yet another temporary home thanks to these people.

It was clean, helpful. However room wasn't cleaned on a daily basis n ran out of food with not very many eating. I would stay again just a little disappointed. Left for the day n came back n the beds were not made n no fresh towels. Had to get my own.

I booked our hotel over the phone and I explained the reason we were traveling to Kansas. I requested our rooms to be grouped together. The 2 other people I was meeting were also from out of state Wisconsin and Texas and that we were meeting in Kansas for "Spidermania". I explained it would be the first time we would be meeting after all of us being Facebook friends for 3 plus years, and all of us being primate parents. Not only did they accommodate an early check in time, we found a picture frame and a card from Jimmy to keep a picture of our first meeting! This was by far the best experience I have ever had staying in a hotel. The fact that Jimmy went out his way to leave that very special gift for us made an incredible impact. The 3rd annual Spidermania Picnic, if held in Kansas again (which I bet it will be) we will definitely be staying at the Sleep Inn again. Also side note, the breakfast was amazing, the bathroom was awesome, loved the shower! The staff was beyond nice and courteous and professional and warm and personable. Water pressure was great, I really liked the toiletries they provided. If you decide to stay here you will not regret it.

Good hotel. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean. Allowed the kids to swim past the pool closing hours.

New, first class facility. Staff is friendly and the owner is very accommodating. Beautiful pool and well kept grounds. Wonderful meeting facility available. Walking distance to tourist attractions, food, and shopping.

We visit Fort Scott yearly for a family reunion and were thrilled when this Sleep Inn was being built. Other hotels in the area that we stayed in previously were below average in all aspects. The hotel facilities and staff far exceeded our expectations based upon past hotel experiences in this town. I plan to book our rooms for next year's visit very soon!

The staff was wonderful. Not only were they nice they were very knowledgeable about the area. Jimmie was an absolute sweetheart. The woman who took care of breakfast was very accommodating even though it was almost time to shut it down. We had room 201, a handicap room. It would have been nice if it was closer to the elevator.

I loved it, they were always there for me. They helped me with reactivating my key 3 times! Let me have breakfast at the closing time. They were always helpful.

Wonderful and modern hotel, with great staff, quiet and comfortable rooms to boot. The rooms are spacious and very modern and show no signs of wear. Room gets nice and dark at night with extremely little light pollution. Everything in the room worked, and worked well. Nice to have a shower I fit under and had pressure. Will stay again if I am in the area.

I stayed here for work for about 4 months straight. The staff at Sleep Inn made being away from home much easier by always being friendly, going above and beyond, and even sending me a handwritten Christmas card months after I was done staying there. They're top rated for a reason and it is their awesome staff and beautiful accommodations.

It's a brand new building, hard to complain. Very nice rooms, and it was booked solid every day I stayed there. Make a reservation.

Cleanest, friendliest place in the area. We have stayed there several different times and the staff/owners never disappoint. Cannot recommend enough.

I was here for a funeral. The customer service manager found out and slipped a heartfelt card under the door. Very nice here. Clean and breakfast was very good too. The beds are very comfortable.

My husband stayed here for work (his review), awesome and clean throughout! Unfortunately booked full the second time I had to stay in town… will be sure to review and compare the two very soon! Room had small fridge and microwave which was awesome for eating in, along with the eggs, bacon, and waffle maker for breakfast accompanying the continental breakfast too. Served daily at 6 a. M. On the dot. Hope to stay again! Oh and the beds were like giant pillows, and couldn't hear the highway or trains at all. So wish I was staying there again!

This Inn, without a doubt, is the cleanest & friendliest hotel in their chain. I'll stay here again every time I'm in Fort Scott, Kansas.

I come up to Fort Scott every Christmas and am now happy to say that I have a comfortable "home environment" to stay at. I came up for Christmas Eve and Christmas day and had the kids come over to the hotel. They loved the heated swimming pool and the continental breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that is traveling through this area of Kansas with no hesitation. The staff was very pleasant and the rooms were spectacular! I will be back this summer and will stay there for sure. Thank you to the staff of the Sleep-Inn for your hospitality during the holidays!
