Friendly staff, clean rooms. No elevator, inadequate ac. Good location.

Clean place, good price. Had breakfast, standard fare again good price. No complaints.

Wanted to love this place more and overall it was OK but when the shower has either super hot or utterly cold and a rock hard bed it makes it hard to like it. Price is more then reasonable, the location fantastic and the service friendly but a comfortable bed and a decent shower are 2 most important factors for a hotel this place isn't great at unfortunately.

The Brooks Hotel, a heck of a place to rest your head for the night. If the walls could talk, they might tell you the tales from a Jail cell, or maybe the tales from a surgeons table. The bed is comfortable, the finishings are plain, and the halls are quiet. This is not a fancy hotel, but it does the trick for a sub $100 a night place and you get your own bathroom. The receptionist and staff are very friendly. Make sure to grab a cup of coffee from the restaurant in the lobby and then hit the road.

So my boyfriend and I decided to make a stop in Wallace mostly because dantes peak is one of my all time favorite movies. Now when we got here we went to check in. The lady was nice, but the first thing out of mouth was oh my god, what is wrong with your arms and skin her rudeness and ignorance and just so unprofessional and I know I will, never come back Wallace mostly because there is literally nothing to do lol but very much because of how awful this lady was I really wish I, had told her off but I know how to handle people, like her. So now to explain this I have a rare medical condition called Neurofibromatios which is tumors that grow on the nerves.    if, you Wanan learn more look, it, up also go, to YouTube type, in Catie bauer on smart health and watch my viode about how my mom and I have dealt with this medical condition. Now I know this is a, very small, town, but at the same time it was very unprofessional and very rude. Once again I know its a small town but I mean what got me was how she spoke to a paying customer so would I reccomed, this hotel not really, the thought of ever going back, will, never happen But the hotel itself is nice. Tho we had no shampoo or anything.

The only explanation that makes sense to me on why this hotel has such high reviews is that the reviews were purchased. This hotel was disgusting from the second we walked in the door to the 5 min we occupied the room. I’ll give you the bottom line first… and the deal breaker that had my husband running for a refund. We peeled back the bedspread to inspect the sheets. There were a few stray hairs on the pillow case that we brushed off. My husband sat down on the bed for a second and immediately smelled something foul. A sniff of the bed had him on his feet in immediate disgust and he demanded that I smell the bed. I took a tentative sniff, and it wasn’t bad so I moved up about 12 inches and was immediately nearly knocked over with what can only be explained as a sudden near vommiting experience. I can’t even begin to tell you what the odor was, because I didn’t trust my gag reflex to give it another sniff. Since last night we have started referring to it as a “dog butt mixed with garbage and an extra scoop of crotch rot” smell. Let me just tell you, it was bad! The whole experience from start to finish was horrible. If I still have you, now I’ll back up and tell the whole story. We are on a road trip with our 2 kids. We have been checking out semi-inexpensive hotels for overnight sleeping on our journey. I don’t think $100 per night quite qualifies as a downright “cheap hotel”. So, my husband found this town on a top 10 list of small towns in Idaho.

The Brooks hotel has great service great food and great rooms you'll be very pleased if you stay here.

I have always been well satisfied everytime I have stayed at the brooks. Very nice staff and good food. Right downtown so it's very convient.
