Stayed at the Inn and it was absolutely wonderful. My family had hyped up the Inn, and when we got to the room, we noticed the view was just of the roof. We wouldn’t normally make a fuss, but my family decided it was worth asking if we could switch rooms. The front desk staff, Charlotte and Nick, went way out of their way to move us to a room with incredible views. It must not have been very easy because the hotel was fairly full. Their effort made our stay at the Inn the highlight of our trip!

Was there last week, just amazing, too bad I missed the freshly 9” of powder!

The mountain needs to teach their mountain hosts how to ski safely. I had one ski into me from behind/uphill when skiing though staggered fencing in a slow ski zone at the bottom of Seattle Ridge. The mountain host then proceeded to blame me for the collision and threaten to pull my pass until surrounding bystanders told him that he was in the wrong.

I want to leave here my most heartfelt and deepest thanks to all the amazing Sun Valley employees who helped me today when my boyfriend got hurt trying to get out of a tree well. From the lifties who first answered to my call for help to the patrollers who found him, dug him out and sledded him safe down from a bad situation. Also a giant shout out and a bear hug to Bets (if I remember correctly, her tag said Bets), a Sun Valley employee who gave me such comfort, support and proper guidance as I was stressing and struggling to find my way back to my car. You guys are all heros and I'm so so grateful for you. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

Terrible service at the ski lodge bunch of employees standing around doing nothing ask them for some service or directions and they just stand there doing nothing or argue with you We have been coming here for Thanksgiving every year but every time we come their service gets worse and worse and their employees are just rude and unhelpful.

I love it because it’s got everything anybody would ever want to do it’s right there you just walk ride go to the free movies golf ice skate ski fish walk to the Hemingway monument play tennis have a cocktail lunch dinner it’s all there just go and enjoy you’ll never regret it.

This place is absolutely awful to employees.

Quaint breathtaking village.

One of the most friendliest ski towns in America. The people smiled an greeted you like you were a resident of the city. Can't wait to return again.

I lived there for 2 of the best years of my life. I did not live at the lodge but in a condo and 1 year in a small ranch. The locals were great and I made many friends. I would highly recommend the whole area, winter and summer.

I’ve been going there my entire life and each time has been wonderful and magical! I’ve been there in the winter and summer — both amazing for completely different reasons.
From the amazing skiing, to many laughs at the ice rink and breakfast at Gretchen’s — there’s something for everyone.

One of the most beautiful places I've visited.

I didn’t have a problem with the resort until this year and I’m very disappointed with my customer service experience. The reservation staff I spoke with was not nice, not understanding of my situation, and I have no desire to return next year.

The Lodge is one of the best hotels we have visited.

We loved being there in the off season as we both don't ski. The mountain views were gorgeous, the paved trails were perfect for taking our son for walks in his stroller, and the service was excellent. I loved the bell service and room service. On one occasion we missed the cut off time for room service and the front desk made sure we had what we needed. This resort is perfectly situated in the mountains and is perfect for families regardless of the season. Definitely a must visit in Idaho.

5 Star Service from the lift ticket agents to the, and especially, the Gondola operators. Outstanding pride and service in what they do. Everyone at the resort properties seems to enjoy what they do and are exceptionally helpful and friendly. The snow making and grooming ops couldn't be doing a better job given the conditions. The groomers were ripping on Sunday. Racked up a ton of vertical without even feeling it. The Duchin Lounge is always a nice treat for après ski and the cocktails and service were outstanding from Oleksandra. Thanks! The Sun Valley Lodge guest service was very helpful in trying to find the great photo of a ripping skier back in the day, Dick Durrance. There is a historic photo of him somewhere (we were unable to find it on the walls) of him in his perfect dipsy doodle form in a wool sweater. Hope that photo isn't lost.

The most spectacular mountain I've skied, and I've skied a few. Top to bottom steep, and an occasional powder day in the sunshine. The best amenities you'll find anywhere, and the town has a casual laid back vibe that's hard to beat. Sun Valley is hard to get to, and that's just fine with me. Go to Colorado, there's an interstate highway that'll take you right to your doorstep.

The oldest, most established ski school in the country!

I attended a social event at Sun Valley Inn and had a great time. Quiet place and good people.

It was the shoulder season, so it wasn't too busy. The pools are great. Warm and made for lazing. The employees were all nice and the facilities were nice and clean.

Room was roomy, beautifully updated, and very clean. Food was pretty good during the conference stay. Enjoyed the experience.

Beautiful location, very friendly service in the bar, and the sleigh ride that departs from the Inn to Trail Creek Cabin allows views of some amazing scenery.

Great hotel with a town full of shops and a really good coffee place. They also have a huge hot tub pool! Perfect for after we finished our runs on the mountain!

Had drinks at the bar. Bartender was very helpful and courteous.

Great place to stay — love the updated grounds and the upgraded lodge.

This is a beautiful resort with very comfortable spacious rooms. They have really nice appointments in the rooms. The public spaces are luxurious without being pretentious. We had a very comfortable stay here.

We stayed at the newly renovated Lodge. Wow! The finest property I ever stayed at.

This was great! 2 story cabin-apartments, great ski resort (and the best bunny hill you'll ever find) and the Thanksgiving dinner was awesome! I have to rate this 5 stars!
