Debbie at the front desk was really awesome, and so were the cleaning ladies. I wasnt expecting super-large rooms, but the ones at this hotel are very, very small for my liking (they said all the rooms are the same size, no king size beds either). The pet policy is pretty extreme (I stay at some 50 hotels/year as I travel for a living and have never seen a pet policty so strict). Good place to walk your pets and plenty of parking for trucks & trailers.

They were really good and we liked this hotel as well as the employees. The room was exceptionally nice as well.

Mountain Home Inn certainly exceeds my expectations. Debbie from the front office did not leave me alone to face the daunting task of getting my trike, trailer, and walker in my room. I was tired in the heat outside and she helped me all the way. Thank you, this stay at Mountain Home Inn is a highlight of my trip! This doesn't happen everywhere. I recommend highly this place and Debbie who made a welcome difference. Thanks, Robert.

Worst night sleep or should I say lack of sleep in a hotel ever. The only reason I gave them two stars is because the sweet young lady named Debbie who was so helpful. Do not let them put you in room 109. The door outside slams you awake every time someone goes outside to smoke a cigarette, or walk there dog.

The overall size of the rooms were a little smaller than usual however they are very well laid out and very comfortable.

Decent hotel. I did pushups in my room — the carpet was a little dingy. Other than that, the room was fine. Decent value compared to other nearby hotels. The Wifi was relatively fast. Breakfast was fine with a decent selection — waffles, boiled eggs, muffins, English muffins, etc.

Queen room is small, small bathroom has a sliding pocket door. Sink and mirror is outside the bathroom. Beds are too soft for my liking. Couple of decent restaurants next door. Semi truck parking in back. Not much of a breakfast, they do have a small pancake grill and packs of oatmeal to heat up. Nothing too fancy, was clean anyhow.

Not bad for the trucker price. The shower water could be warmer.

Great room but very loud and could hear the next room over door slam shut as well as tv. The side we were on was next to where the Big semi's would park and sleep then at midnight till 4am they would leave and it was very noise.

This is a fantastic place to stay I was amazed! The people behind the desk or awesome and very helpful about the local area. It's pet friendly which was awesome. Lots of room for my little buddy fizzgig to stay and run around in.

Night from 14 to 15 August 2017 room 219. We paid $80.10 for a total of $86.51 with tax. This fare is with the AARP or triple A card (CAA). The attitude of the 2 receptionists at the outset was a bit arrogant with my wife who went in alone for information and subsequently improved a lot when we came back after visiting the other hotels and there are few. There are quite a few budget motels in the city centre but their external aspects were questionable. This is the best quality/price option. Our room was superb and fully equipped with a clean and comfortable queen bed. The breakfast included was complete and varied including fruit and yogurt on ice. The dining room is large with enough seating. There is an Internet PC space for customers. The Wi-Fi is excellent all over the hotel and there are a few restaurants around. It's an old Sleep Inn. The staff were OK with us. Several photos come in addition to our review we recommend this hotel.

We spent one night of our trip here. Was very clean, updated and pet friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and ready at 6am sharp. Would stop there again. I would give. It 4.5 stars cause there is always room for improvement.

Very clean budget friendly hotel. Nice and quiet! Bed was ok, but bring your own pillow. Breakfast was just cereal, oatmeal, danish, yogurt and you fix waffles. No choices for a person with Celiac disease. They do offer a 24 hour coffee bar.

Nice stay. Very clean, all the staff were very friendly. Bed was super cozy. Kind of disappointed with breakfast. Thought they would have more cooked food like sausage and eggs, but it was mostly muffins, cereal, oatmeal, and that type of thing. Overall a great stay for a very reasonable price.

Right on the edge of town but also right off the highway heading to Boise or down to Twin Falls. No complaints, the staff is especially nice and everything's been updated for the most part so it's pretty enjoyable for a 2-star Hotel. Oh, and pet deposit is cheap! 10 bucks for 2 dogs per night.

My husband and I chose this hotel because it is small dog friendly. Our stay was wonderful, the bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. The only thing we felt that could have improved our stay was having a better breakfast selection. Our options were hard boiled eggs, apples or bananas and lots of carbs. Having an electric skillet and providing some bacon and/or brown and serve sausage would go a long ways to improving breakfast.

The room was extremely clean and well accommodated. The bed seemed like a small queen but maybe that's because I'm used to a king size bed. The shower was a little short — I am 5 7 and my husband is 6 7, but again it was very clean. It was easy to find and the staff were nice and friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

Very comfortable and well maintained. Our room was clean as a whistle. Cute little hotel and very convenient. The woman at the front desk was extremely friendly and made us feel right at home.

Great price for a great place! We needed a place to re-charge while being on a cross country trip. For under $100 a night we had a nice quaint room, ordered pizza, and the continental breakfast was great (breads, jelly, peanut butter, hard boiled eggs, donuts, muffins, oatmeal, yogurt, cereal, tea/coffee/hot chocolate/juice, fresh fruit and waffles). They kept refilling the breakfast foods as they disappeared too! The staff was also very helpful and friendly, which was lovely.

I would give this place 5 stars if the sign on the front door didn't say "please use other door ⬅" right when you pull up. I drove around the building looking for another entrance to check in at. Comfortable bed to rest my exhausted body after a 9 hour drive from Seattle.

Clean rooms and decent rate. Easy access off Hwy 20. The Continental breakfast had something for everyone. Was a true continental breakfast.

Mountain home inn is a decent hotel for anyone looking for a room on a budget. Not as many amenities as the larger hotels, but still has quality rooms.

The staff was awesome! The food in their restaurant was home cooked and delicious! Felt safe and the place was very clean and comfy. I'll be back when I go through Idaho again. ps. Ha ha, there's no mountain in Mountain Home!

My wife and I stopped late 9/14/2015 and we were treated like family. One non-smoking room left and we got it. Very clean and neat and the price was very good. Asked for a restaurant that they would eat at and they said right next door. Food was super good. Very good night all around. Will do this again without hesitation. Thanks.

The staff were very fast and efficient at getting us checked in. They even gave my dog a treat! The room was very clean. I would stay there again.
