Our second time staying and we enjoy the quaint surroundings. Lovely rooms, each with their own theme. The Inn is about a 10-15 minute walk from Market Square and 20 from the river. Great for us because we love to catch views of the city.

It was a amazing view with the water view even with no balcony. Staff friendly and understanding even when I accidentally booked the wrong date. Definitely stay. In the heart of everything around you could want into food and shopping.

We have stayed in a few Savannah B&B's and this one is hands down our favorite! The staff was delightful and so accommodating, the house cats were quiet and not pests (I'm allergic so I was concerned… but had no reason as they were purrffectly happy to sunbathe and nap) and the breakfast… oh yes! Breakfast was delicious and filling! My husband loved the cookies and milk in the evening and was sad when we moved to the next place… thank you so much for a great trip and being outstanding! We cant wait to come back!

Beautiful, historic setting! Close access to the many squares and the riverfront. Absolutely beautiful renovation, keeping a historical perspective on the property with modern amenities! Would absolutely come again!

Went here on a Groupon, first time ever, was a little worried because of a previous review I had read here. The staff treated us great! The room was incredible, the food was delicious and a special shout out to Zeus who gave us great advice on places to go so that we could make the most of our midweek get-away!

We've loved staying here for years. This time we chose the Connor House and it was nothing less than impressive. 4 bathrooms, tons of bedrooms and enough space for three families all inside an authentic turn of the century home.

We stayed in the "Tree Top" room and loved it. Don't get this room if you have problems climbing stairs. The decor is beautiful and the accommodations were perfect. We had a great time. We especially love the breakfast. French toast is our favorite.

Great place to stay. Went spent 4 nights there celebrating our anniversary. They have friendly staff, clean rooms, great breakfast with a different chefs special everyday. We stayed in the tree tops room on the top floor, had to climb 1 set of stairs to get in building, one set of stairs to 3rd floor, and a 3rd set of stairs in our room to get to the accommodations. They do have 3 cats in the private courtyard that we enjoyed getting to see and pet. It was also nice to be able to walk a short distance and catch the fare free bus that loops from close to river street to the lower end of Forsyth park. They also have afternoon tea and some kind of sweets everyday and cookies and milk every night. The Staff seemed willing to help with anything we needed.

This was our fifth time staying at the savannah B&B… we would never stay elsewhere. As usual — everything was perfect! This time we stayed in the Magnolia Room. We love the Inn, the people working there, the cats and the location. On of my favorite things is that you can walk everywhere. We park our car when we arrive and do not touch it again until we go home. Thanks again for a perfect get away — — until next time.

Must stay if you love B&B's. Bathrooms are clean, decor is fantastically eclectic, and the beds are neat and prepped to all tastes. Staff is friendly and breakfast is perfect. I stayed in the Oglethorpe room and I can't think of a reason not to come back!

I couldn't have found a better place to stay while in Savannah. The higher cost is absolutely worth it for the stay. The breakfast is delicious, and the whole building is beautiful beyond words. I especially want to thank CL for all of the wonderful recommendations on things to do while in the city. He gave me some lovely ideas, and I felt like I got the chance to see the city all the better for it.

I absolutely love visiting Savannah GA. I have stayed at a few B&B's in Savannah but this one is my favorite. The staff are so kind and accommodating. My rooms have always been authentic and charming, not to mention clean and everything worked as it should (HVAC, hot water, fans etc. ) I have never had any problems finding parking along the street. The walk to River Street is just a couple minutes and it's located right next to two beautiful scenic parks. We highly recommend Savannah B&B!

We loved our stay at the Savannah B&B! Staff was very friendly. We also liked the inn cats. Enjoyed our breakfast in the morning as well. The homemade jam was really good! Our room was very clean and well kept, had a nice cozy feel to it. Plenty of space for our things. Location was also very nice, within walking distance of riverstreet and shopping.

Lovely room, however had a bathroom leak on the ceiling above the tub on our last night. Staff was very accommodating and willing to move us to a room upgrade which I thought was really nice. Great breakfast and I will certainly be back!

Rooms were not very clean. Floors were dirty with debris scattered about. Made tea one night in the room and my used cup day in the room for days before it was removed. Location is great. Breakfasts were delicious. Courtney and staff really made sure you were satisfied no matter what restrictions. However, I called twice to make sure the stairs were doable for my mother and I was assured there were only a few. When we checked in there were twelve stairs up to the front door and eighteen to our room. Very disappointed.

Perfect location and nicely furnished. However, it would have been nice to have drawers to unpack our suitcase. The breakfast menu was very limited with smaller portions. We had to ask for a second piece of toast.

Very nice rooms. Very clean. Very little choices for breakfast. Only had 3 choices and all where eggs. Cook was very surprised like I was the only person who does not eat them. I might had to make a different choice on the B&B I will stay at next time.

Staff very nice and helpful. Overall building nice but our room was a little rundown and not the cleanest. Breakfast was really nothing special and not a lot of choices. Nice location, near free trolley stop and Forsyth Park. Easy to get to historic shopping and restaurants.

Felt at home. Close to everything. Great staff therefore great service. Full breakfast and always a snack waiting for you midday and evening. Please keep in mind there are a lot of stairs to climb not an issue if you enjoy the exercise. Will definitely visit again!

We spent a week here and absolutely loved it! The staff are amazing, very welcoming and helpful — we really felt at home during our stay. The breakfasts were by far the best I have ever had at a B&B. The atmosphere is perfect for relaxing and the location can't get any better as you can easily walk to most anything in the historic district. I am definitely planning to stay here again! Huge kudos to the owners & staff!

Everything about our stay here was perfect! The room was clean and cozy, the staff was friendly and went above and beyond, the food was delicious, and the cats in the courtyard really made the stay that much more enjoyable. Its within walking distance to pretty much everything and is tucked away on a quiet street. It was our first time in Savannah and it won't be our last. We wouldn't stay anywhere other than this perfect Inn. You won't regret staying here, these people are the epitome of southern hospitality and will go above and beyond for you!

This Bed and Breakfast is so beautiful and clean. It is located in Downtown Savannah, within one mile walking distance to the water. There are several little places to eat, drink, and shop. I really liked the outdoor portion of the inn, where you can sit and read or relax. The breakfast in the morning is cooked to order and tastes amazing too. Every night around 8pm they serve cookies and milk in the dining room. Our room was very clean, but also had a decorative taste. The inn is very cozy, makes you feel at home, but also helps you "get away".

The staff is very friendly and professional! Even though it is metered street parking, they supply you with parking passes to cover the cost. The rooms are really nice, and the beds are comfortable. The food is also to die for. Their bacon is thick and their jam is phenomenal. Bonus: there are cats on the property who will let you love them whenever you want.

I cannot say enough good things about the Bed and Breakfast. The location is safe, secure, and centrally located in the best part of Historic Savannah. Mile walk to the river, or free DOT that goes North on Drayton and South on Whitaker. The novelty of staying in an old brownstone will never fade. The beautiful stairs, the quirky antique furniture in the room and common areas, and the quite common area back porch makes you feel you have been transported into another time. My room had in updated bathroom that was modern and clean. The very minimal negative was the dust, but the 200 year old exposed wood is very hard to clean. The breakfast was great. I have never had grits that good in my life! Choice of eating outside in the common back porch or inside. I had a lovely conversation with fellow guest and we were all satisfied with our stay. If you are looking to stay in old Savannah with out the frills of a high priced chain THIS is your place!

We had a lovely stay in the Azalea room. The rooms were classic and clean. The breakfast was sufficient and the breakfast room was quaint. The service was great! I left behind my daughters boots and a very helpful lady called me to offer to ship them back to me. I do recommend staying here. The location is perfect! The only soft complaint is the bathroom needs an upgrade.

A nice cozy little BnB that is made up of several old town houses that have been molded together. The interior is beautiful and the multiple joined courtyards are gorgeous! Every morning breakfast is served at an hour of your choice between 7-9am. The breakfasts are amazing and there is always at least 3 choices for you. You do not need to worry about parking here! The BnB gives you a parking pass to sit in your car window for the duration of your stay for no extra charge. They have charts that walk you through the street sweeping schedules and they can answer any questions about parallel and street parking you could have! There are multiple kitties roaming around the courtyard that are all super friendly, although Peanut is by far the most social. If Peanut sees you sitting at a table he will come up and join you. The only slight downsides to this is you are in a townhouse, the rooms are not soundproof at all. You can hear the neighbors conversations clearly if they are talking louder than a library voice. The floorboards creak EVERYWHERE. It's an old house. You will hear your neighbors moving around. If you are not bothered by background noise, this will be a great experience for you. If you need total silence to sleep, you might want to weigh your options before deciding to bed here. If you're looking for an intimate stay on the cutest street in Savannah. Stay here.

If you are coming to Savannah, you have to stay here. Nothing compares to this. Its like home away from home. The staff is amazing and super friendly. Parking is right out front. Better than the best hotel you can find. Our room was simply beautiful, charming and surprisingly quiet. We have a balcony right off our room. And they have the best sweet tea in town. I will definitely be staying again. I do not want to go home. Thank you again.

Very accommodating, friendly staff. Very nice location. I would definitely stay there again. Savannah gets very hot and humid, there was airconditioning in all the rooms which was great. If you want to stay somewhere in Savannah Historical Quarter, then choose one of the many B&B's, the architecture, character and charm is definitely something to experience. You can stay in a modern hotel anytime, but this is quite a rarity.

The room that we stayed in was not very clean and that is why they are getting two stars. I am a "clean freak" as my husband puts it and it was not worth paying way over $100 a night for a room that had spiderwebs behind the bed and on the ceiling. We even found a small spider in the bed! The bed skirt was filthy and the bed cover had a yellow nasty looking something on it. There was even a bag of nasty towels in the closet. I wanted to say something to the lady at the front desk, but my husband and I felt like they wouldn't care and do nothing about it since she kept making it clear that we made reservations and paid for our room through a "third party. " Needless to say we learned our lesson by going through Groupon, but that did not mean we deserved a filthy room. We knew we wouldn't get our money back and we were several hours from home and on a budget, so we were stuck there. Luckily we weren't there to spend our entire time in the room. The only thing great about this B&B was their breakfast and from what I could see the kitchen looked cleaned, which made me feel good about eating there. The kitchen staff was amazing! The food great! Our trip turned out great, even though our room was horribly dirty. However, the next time we decide to visit Savannah we will not be staying here.

Friendly, accommodating, & attentive staff; clean, comfortable & convenient location. Much more reasonably priced than other top Savannah bed & breakfasts. No appreciable noise from other guests. Lush courtyard plantings. My wife is vegan. Nora shared her own supply of vegan coffee creamer.

We stayed in the Tree Top room. This entire inn is such a classic experience. It's nothing like being in a traditional hotel, and I loved it. The ambiance is truly one of a kind. It feels like you're at home with the decor and rustic look of everything, but everything is SO clean and beautiful. Staff is amazing. It was super cool to come down and have someone cook your plate for you and hang out with the other guests and talk about what we had done so far. Depending on your room, the stairs are very narrow and will kick your butt, but the stay here is worth it. We were lucky enough to be in our room at the very top when a good heavy downpour came through and it was so peaceful to listen to. This will definitely be or one and only spot to stay in Savannah. If you don't feel like walking, this place is about a $5 Uber ride to River Street.

So pleased we stayed at the Savannah Bed & Breakfast! Centrally located off Savannahs's Chatham Square, it is convenient to most Savannah sights. Our room was spotlessly clean, the four poster bed quite comfortable. The staff was exceptional. We arrived late and found it necessary to depart early, and our requests were cheerfully accommodated. Breakfasts were wonderful. We were told that grits were not on the breakfast menu during our stay, but the chef, hearing our request, prepared a delicious serving of grits. Thank you! Altogether, a great place to stay.

We stayed two nights here in mid-July, in the Parkview room. The accommodations were very comfortable and the staff was very friendly. The inn comprises several Georgian style three-story town homes and features a very large covered deck in the courtyard area where you can sit for breakfast, or just relax any other time of the day or evening. Breakfast the first morning was perfect. I had the classic breakfast with bacon, eggs, toast, fruit, juice, and coffee. The second morning, I had the classic breakfast again, but the eggs were very undercooked. I ordered them over medium, but the whites were quite runny. They quickly made it right, though, and were very helpful about it. There's a very good chance we'll stay here again next time we're in Savannah.

We were there for our anniversary. First vacation we've had in 10 years! Staff was great free custom continental breakfast (try three shrimp & grits). We had a two sorry room. It was clean and well stocked. Well we did only have one coffee cup in there when we first got there… no big deal. Check in/ out was a breeze with very little traffic to prevent us from getting in and out. They even paid our parking the last night we were there! Great little bnb in the heart of Savannah historic district.

Two of us stayed in the Turkish room it's a very nice room clean and comfy I have no complaints about the room. Their breakfast was great for the four days we stayed and every one was so nice from the time we got to this B&B. Pam at the front desk was very helpful with the area and things to do and see in Savannah and so was the other gentleman. The kitty's out on the back deck were a double bonus and all have well behavior even sassy Savannah and the mysterious Midnight kitty. The location to places to eat, drink, and sights were all good for us and the walking was pleasant for us. The parking was also good for us as we staying Monday to Thursday so we got to park right out front and didn't have to move the car for any street sweeping and the B&B took care of the parking meeter so we don't have to bother and could just relax just place the the paper þey give you on ur dash and it's all good. The area was safe and at no time did we feel uncomfortable walking around in have traveled to many large and small City's and felt unease but NOT here very safe City. So I would like to say thank you to this B&B for the stay and taking such great care for us while we stayed and we will be back to visit again. So folks you want to enjoy yourself this is the place to stay great place, safe area, great location to the sights, then this is your place to stay here in the great Town of Savannah! :) A+

We stayed for our tenth anniversary. Everything was nice. We missed out on the bedtime milk and cookies because we got back to the inn too late from walking around historic Savannah.

Charming, quaint inn in the heart of the historic district. We have been coming here for 17 years, at least once a year. Although the inn has grown dramatically over that time, it is still just as charming. Cats roaming the courtyard area give visitors their animal fix away from home.

Located in a great district but when you wake up and find worms crawling on your toothbrush you have to think twice! Yes, worms! I did not find anyone who genuinely cared or had any genuine concern. We didn't dare turn the fan on because we felt it would've flung off the hinges at any given moment. We ended up switching rooms which was okay. The second room was much better than the first, however that's not really saying much. I must say I would give a five star rating for the quality of breakfast. When you check into an Inn or a hotel, you want to feel a warm, friendly feeling and this was most definitely not conveyed in this Inn. Overall, Savannah is a great town and if I ever get to come back I'll have to do more extensive research on where I'd stay.

Room was very nice and Inn is located on the edge of the historic district. This makes parking easy near the Inn and still be able to walk everywhere.

Enjoyed our stay here a few weeks ago for an anniversary getaway. We stayed in the Mary Musgrove room and absolutely loved it. Really enjoyed the old quirky nature of the Inn; just wish the weather had been warmer so we could have enjoyed their courtyard gardens. Breakfast was always hot and timely. Loved the afternoon tea and evening cookies. Staff were kind and professional. We'll be back!

Love it we came here for our honeymoon.

Disappointed is the best way to describe it. There were bugs in the house, coming through every water source. The housekeeping staff did not do their job, we never asked for full service just to pick up towels and garbage. We received towels in a bag in the foyer with dirty towels left upstairs. The ceiling in the kitchen leaked due to construction that we were not told about, the air conditioner quit working, the piping in one of the bathrooms was completely exposed from construction, and the third floor bath toilet kept running. The front desk staffs, except Pam, were not welcoming. I am from the South and they can't be because I never saw hospitality. The kitchen staff is the saving grace. They were perfection. The Chef made great options for breakfast and the wait staffs were so friendly. I never met the host; she went on vacation during part of my trip. I called with the issues above and left a message and have yet to hear from her. It has been 12 days. I told the front desk about the issues and all they said was I am sorry and it was not even heartfelt. We did accidentally leave something in the house. Pam worked with me to get item shipped, which took many days because Pam did take a day or two off and no one bothered to deal with the UPS slip I had emailed. I have realized that outside of the kitchen staff, the other employees do not function, they have no passion and they do not care if the people staying there are happy or not.

Okay, go look at all of the room rates on Hilton Head or the river facing hotels in this city. You get a tiny room, a bathroom, and an elevator ride every time you wanna leave your cage. Now, look at this place, you get a whole house for the same price, with fresh cooked breakfast every morning. Which begs the question… Why do people stay at chain hotels? Do they like having a desk clerk wave at them THAT much? Is calling for towels at 2 am worth 300-500 a night? I don't get it. Anyway, we stayed here, rented the Jasper House for four nights. To save you the trouble it's 229 a night base rate, plus per person after the first two people. We had 6 people in the house comfortably (so 390 a night for us iirc), there are four bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a half bath downstairs. There's also a private balcony on the back of the house overlooking their courtyard with a table for four on it. There's a fully quipped kitchen and a dining table for eight. The house is antique furnished, but with a preference for comfort, not just "show". We didn't find any problems with the house. Surprisingly the upstairs A/C almost works too well, pretty sure we put some frost on the rugs, so don't be afraid if you're a cold sleeper. You get a choice for your breakfast, either typical American eggs/bacon type food, or a light/healthy alternative, or a slightly upscale choice that varies day to day. It's better than most places like this I've stayed.

This was our first stay at a B&B and we loved it. My husband is handicapped and the staff was great in helping us have a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

This is our second time dabbling in the world of Bed and Breakfast Inn's. The first one is called Pettigru Place in Greenville, Sc (which is six stars by the way! ). So, when we came to the Savannah B&B, we were excited! Now, let me preface by saying that ALL the staff was extremely friendly and ready to help! And, I'm writing this about the Lane Cottage where we stayed. I have no idea what the other rooms look like. The location was perfect though. River street a 20 min walk with the 22 squares in between. We were a little disappointed that the cottage was mostly modern with a dash of the antique we had hoped for. The bed was decent but nothing to write home about. But it was VERY quiet, despite being by a road. While we lived with this functional room, the most disappointing was the breakfast. We ate their breakfast three times — tried the pancakes, the French toast, the parfait, the shrimp and grits, and the eggs. It was edible (except the eggs. Which tasted like chemicals). I never complain about food. I literally eat anything. But I'd rather have gotten cereal and my own fruit. Even Ihop. So, if you are looking for a place that isn't a hotel that has very friendly staff and breakfast like a regular hotel, this should suit you just fine. Just be prepared to pay.

I stayed here on a short vacation sometime in 2014, I could not recommend it more. Very polite staff (including the cats who hang out on the back porch). If I visit the area again I will stay there.

Simple B&B. Cozy and cute. Clean, good breakfast, friendly staff. Not as fancy as some other b&bs in the area but reasonably priced.

The rooms were beautiful. I loved the mirrors and old portraits. My husband was concerned about staying in an older place. We normally use the Hilton downtown while visiting Savannah. But our first B&B experience was nice. The staff were very kind and even explained how to get to the girl scout museum for us. I'm not much of a much of a milk drinker, but the cookies were good! We would certainly stay again next time.

Stayed at Savannah B and B November 1-4 2013. It was beautiful. The room was gorgeous and very comfortable. The staff was attentive although we do not really need anything. We also didnt eat any breakfasts only because we were sleeping in and having large dinners. Will definitely stay again. Even though Im local. It was a great staycation.

We stayed in the Blue Cottage. The staff was so kind. The breakfast was very good! I love cookies and milk at night, so it was perfect! Beautiful location, kind and personable staff and a lovely cottage with a beautiful courtyard. Who could ask for anything more.

My girlfriend and I purchased 2 Living Social vouchers to stay at this B and B; when we called to inquire about basic questions, we were both met with very rude responses and attitudes. My husband and I visit Savannah a few times a year and a "good deal" is entirely not worth the treatment we received over the phone! I will be getting a refund ASAP and will continue to visit the B and B's that we know and love like the Foley House. If you do not want to participate with programs like Living Social, then don't.
