I arrived at the hotel to find out that the king deluxe room I reserved was given out pry to me getting there and they didn’t have another deluxe room to put me in. The front desk associate stated I’ll give you the room free and out you in a business suite. Tell me why they trying to charge my card after y’all didn’t have what I reserved then you told me it was free.

Not the cleanest! Found left over food from past guest in the microwave, fridge and under the desk! The floors were dirty and sticky and made me second guess the bedding which had hair in between the sheets! The bathroom tub was dirty as well and door looked and acted as if it had been kicked in! Im not sure of re-booking this Wyndham hotel…

We rented a double queen room. The decor was nice. The perspective of the pics online made the room seem larger, but it was still nice. We adequate towels, soap. The Wi-Fi was definitely a big plus. The breakfast had many options and even had meat & eggs, not just pastries. A hot tub would have been nice. The employees we encountered were also very nice.

Was very nice hotel. Service was top notch. Beds comfortable — very clean. Breakfast gets 5 stars! Scramble eggs with cheese not watery. Oatmeal — grits — 2 styles waffles. Fresh juice — whole milk & 2%. Coffee good w/flavor creamers! Love my Van/Hazelnut. Don't find that very often. Stay was stop over to Disney vacation. Family was happy too ¬ easy to please. Very good choice.

This is the worst fucking hotel in the history of hotels! The nappy headed unprofessional front desk girl cut me off while I was stating my concerns and complaints. My phone does not work at all, the lamps do not work, the keys do not work properly, and the frustration grows waiting for several minutes for hotel staff to come and not listen or fix your issue! My company has sent me here a few times in the past and it’s 10 times worst every visit!

Clean place great staff I really enjoyed my stay.

Upon check in, was charged an extra Ga Hotel Tax without being told until after the fact. Used Points, which Ive never been charged anything. Business center computers didnt work. Guest slamming doors until 11pm that night. Front desk clerk was Rude. Will never stay at A Wyndam Hotel again.

Worst stay ever. I had dirty sheets and pillow cases on my two double beds. So I went and asked for clean pillow cases and sheets. The lady at the desk (night shift) stated they were out of pillow cases and that she would bring me a sheet to my room. That was day one of a 3 day stay and the sheet never made it nor did the housekeeping acknowledge the pile of dirty pillow cases each day that they cleaned the room. Not cool.

Overall the place has much to be desired. The ice machines are filthy and I don't know when the last time it was cleaned out. The rooms seem to be falling apart. When I went to turn on light above the bed, the fixture almost fell off. The shower rod was affixed at an angle so that the curtain would open and water would soak the floors. The complimentary breakfast was constantly empty and finding someone to refill things was fairly difficult. Checkout is at 11am, however the cleaning crew starts knocking on your door at 9am. Overall, I would not recommend the place or stay again.

Stay here all the time when I am in Macon. Great customer service and clean rooms.

Front desk staff was very nice however this place can use a major upgrade. My room was decent however, the group I came with had a lot of complaints regarding the upkeep of there rooms.

The staff are always so kind here. It's a good place for a fair rate. Convenient to interstate and downtown. Great AM breakfast.

On the outside and lobby the place looks great. The room however had a roach in the dresser/tv stand. One of the decrotive pillows had some sort of pink and blue stains on it that we found when we removed it from the bed. One of the desk chairs looks like it had some sort of bodily fluid stain on it. Like some one probably had a good time on the chair. The light switches in the bathroom also had a pink stain on it as well. Assumed it was the same as on the pillow. The bathroom door also had toothpaste smeared on it. A Kleenex or paper towel was stuffed into the peep hole. We will not be staying there again.

Well the the top blanket on the bed was dirty so had to take that off to sleep in the bed and then in the morning a cockroach fell out of the towel that I was about to use to dry off. Talked to the front desk and they informed me that the General Manager would call me to straighten everything out and that was a week ago. Horrible customer service.

THEY RUINED OUR DATE NIGHT! My wife and I rarely get a date night alone without the kids. My wife has a teacup Chihuahua that she takes everywhere with, it usually stays inside of her purse and just pokes it’s head out. Before I made our reservations for the evening, I called the location, advised him that we had a teacup Chihuahua and wanted to check on their pet policy. We were told that a dog that size would be no problem, they could accommodate, and that there would be no deposit required. I didn’t continued and made my reservation online for a room with king bed, and Jacuzzi. My wife and I then went out to dinner, and then went to the movies to see the new 50 shades. Directly after the movie we arrive at the hotel, walking with our bags ready to check in. Everything seem to be going smoothly, until I mentioned that we had the teacup Chihuahua with us. As soon as I told the lady at the front desk that, her entire attitude changed, and she began to tell me that they could not accommodate us while having the dog, that they have a very strict no pet policy. At this point, it is 12:30 AM, and we are very disappointed. We asked the lady at the front desk if she could help us find another hotel under the Wyndham brand. That would allow us to bring our Chihuahua to. She was completely unwilling to help, and told us that she will not have any knowledge of any other hotel in the area, and could be no help to us at all.

The room was very nice and the clerk at the front desk was friendly, polite and helpful. The room was clean and well kept.

The room was nice. The bed was a little hard. Breakfast was not quite up to par.

Breakfast in the morning was great, the beds were the worst thing that I have ever slept on. Kudos to them being memory foam, but they were absolutely hard as a rock. Also, the room was 62° and took forever to heat up.

Great accommodation clean and spacious, great location for traveling.

Very comfortable and affordable. Not to mention the accesibility of resturants to the hotel. Amazing staff too!

Hotel is convenient and clean. Noisy people in the hallway late into the evening. Hollering and slamming doors. Air handler in my room could not be set on constant to help drown out the noise. Nice hotel otherwise.

Omg… the best service ever. The staff is amazing! A year ago I came to Macon because I had to teach a training class. The hotel that I was staying at, had to kick me out because of this so called Cherry Blossom Festival. I packed up my car an tried to find a hotel. I came to the Wingate and was treated so kindly when I walked in. Nick. J, was so accommodating, he got me a room ASAP and he worked with my companies Per diem rate. Which was such a blessing. I live in Savannah. During the hurricane, I emailed Nick and he was able to get my family a room. Although we ended up staying in Savannah, it was such a blessing to know that he was able and willing to help me out. The front desk employees are so helpful easy-going and they know me by name, because I come to Macon quite a bit. If you want to be treated like a king or queen this is the place to be! Staff was friendly and courtess. Room key problem was fixed promptly. Room was clean but the hotel does have some millage. Breakfast was very good. Overall, a decent hotel and will return again.

Sat out the storm for 4 days at the Wyndham Wingate in Macon. Facility and staff were amazing! They calmly, efficiently and cheerfully served a hotel full of anxious people… including children. Everyone… from manager, Nickolas Jones… to Marquetta Wilson at the front desk. To the young lady (whose name I have sadly lost) who tirelessly refreshed the breakfast buffet with hot fresh food for an anxious crowd… to cheerful and helpful housekeeping staff… made an anxious experience positive, and even enjoyable. Stayed for 2 nights with no problems. Although the hotel was at capacity, the breakfast was well-stocked and our room was cleaned early in the day. Good-sized room, comfortable, and nice staff. Also very convent to several restaurants and shopping centers.

I have stayed at this location several times. The staff is amazingly friendly and the rooms are comfortable. The pool is on the smallish side, but adequate.

We normally stop here on trips through the area and have had good experiences until tonight. The front desk clerk had no training and could not do travel coupons. We will not be back.

The hotel was nice. Staff was helpful. Just off the interstate. Rooms were clean. Beds comfortable.

This hotel was very nice as a simple place to stay overnight on the way to our final destination. It's located right off of I-75 between two exits, and is easy to find. The room was large and well-equipped, and the king-sized bed was comfortable. The A/C in the room worked well and was fairly quiet, which means it didn't wake us up each time it cycled on or off throughout the night. Even at 1:30 in the morning, when we arrived, the front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. Finally, the included breakfast was fine — maybe a step above what you'd find at the lower-cost brands.

I like the king room it were so very spacious and also the amenities but hate the bathroom the carpet I didn't like it… didn't look clean and our floor look like it had not been vaccum and the bed had only 3 pillows on king bed and the bed look like it was missing a comforter r something my room number was 219 and I don't think I'm gonna be using that hotel again.

My stay there was the best stay ever, I slept real good and felt like if I was at home and I will come back ever time thanks for treating me and my family as if we was your.

Not a bad place. We were on our way to Orlando from Cincinnati well this is the place to stop after about 10 hours on the road. It was late when we showed up. I had read reviews on trip advisor before stopping and I really was unsure. Price was pretty good, guy if you are like me you think cheaper the price greater chance of bed bugs. There was a graduation party in the lower level meeting room so I was thinking. Loud music? But no. They did a good job keeping it down. So listen… good price and it's a motel… yes by wyndham. But still a motel. So you resort. Milk drinking yuppies, go easy. Little flaws here and there. But all and all. Not a bad place.

Wingate by Windham in Macon is either scamming guests or just run by very poor management. We had family (a couple) that came into town for the night Easter Weekend and decided to stay here because it was a very convenient location and price for the night. They were charged a $150 smoking fee that was added to their credit card without any notice of the charges until they appeared on their bank statement. Nick Jones, the general manager, did not have anything to say except that there were ashes found in the sink. This couple certainly does NOT smoke and the only "evidence" that was given was a picture of ashes taken 30 minutes after they had checked out. Do not stay here!

The customer service was good but the room needed help. The bed linen was so wrinkled like after sheets was washed and dry it was waded in a ball instead of folded. The rug was so filthy the rug was black and feel slimmy. We stayed here before and very surprise the condition of the room. One of the light bulbs was out and asked for a new bulb but never replaced. The breakfast food was OK but one hot dish did not have a cover. I took pictures. I wish I could post the picture of the nasty rug. They told me the rug was professional cleaned. The rug hasn't been cleaned for a long time. They told me they are going to renovating. I hope so.

Front desk staff was excellent and courteous. The rooms were fairly well accommodated, but kind of dirty. Not filthy, but I definitely wasn't comfortable walking around the room without shoes or socks. The shower tubs were also slightly dirty. Also, the "King" bedroom was clearly a double queen with the beds removed. The bed didn't line up with the headboard, and there is a fairly awkward chair sitting where the second queen clearly used to reside — kind of cheesy. But, the rooms were reasonably priced.

This place is dirty and the manager is rude. Hair all over the bathroom floor. Bed spread had stains all over it. Bathroom light was rusty. The carpet needed cleaning as well. This is a horrible hotel. Stay away.

When we left that morning, we made sure that we told the receptionist… came back that night and our room had not been cleaned. We had to pay 10 dollars to accommodate our kids stay because they only gave us 1 bed after telling them we had 3 kids!

Verry clean and right next to any kind of food or restraunt you can think of, verry nice rooms and plenty of parking.

I recently stayed at the Wingate by Wyndham Macon hotel located at 100 N Crest Blvd. My experience was horrible. We hosted a party for my grandmother's birthday earlier that Saturday October 24, 2015. The workers did not have the room we paid for set up the way we asked, so we took two hours out of our preparation time fixing this job. There was a man who was sent in there to help us, and all he did was complain the entire time saying "this wasn't his job". That was very disturbing to me because he was not doing us any favors, this was a service we paid for. Later that night, I decided to get a room at the hotel and my check-out time was at 11:00 am on Sunday October 25th. I left the room early, but did not formally check-out to go see a friend who was in town. While I was gone, I realized I left my Fit bit charge HR on the bathroom counter. I looked at the clock and it was 10:30. I knew that check-out time was not until 11, so perhaps I can go back and get my watch before the cleaning crew got to my room. Once I arrived at the hotel, I informed the clerk at the desk what I was looking for, and she kindly escorted me to my room. I saw the door had been opened which meant the room had been cleaned. Luckily, the lady who cleaned my room was only a few doors down, so I went to her and asked did she see my watch on the counter as she was cleaning the room. She looked as if she had no idea what I was talking about. At this point I became concerned.
