Decent enough, it's a remodel of an older hotel, so while not what we expected, it wasn't bad. Nice big fridge and kitchenette, however our granite countertop fell off as it was just hanging there. The light switch situation is weird as well, you have to have the room lights on to use the bathroom lights.

Convenient location to interstate access and probably the best price in the area. Rooms seemed a little run down, but did have a full size refrigerator, microwave and small sink outside the bathroom. No additional amenities available.

Awesome place to stay! Rooms clean, comfortable, and they all have kitchenettes. Very friendly staff.

The Housekeeping in this hotel is some of the LOUDEST I have ever encountered and I have stayed at many hotels through travel. They scream to each other down the hall AND NEXT TO EACH OTHER, bang on the doors and the walls with their equipment and play music that can be heard throughout the hallway and into the rooms. I have been woken up on multiple different days to the sound of the Housekeeping. Aside from that the staff is nice and they are willing to give you what you need. But another problem we face are the random ants we find in our room… they're not too much of a nuisance but we probably kill 5 a day and they have been here since we began staying here. Sometimes staff is hard to find though if no one is at the front desk and you need something.

The hotel as it goes is just fine. Clean adequate accomodations. Minimal staff often having only one employee on the property sometimes making it difficult to find help in the afternoon or evening. My biggest issue is with safety and security. My truck was broken into in the parking lot. The driver window was smashed and the contents ransacked. I know that it's not reasonable for hotels to accept liability for damage to vehicles parked in there lot but when you are located in a bad area as this property is you have a responsibility to do all you can to provide for the safety and security of your guests and their vehicles. This property has plenty of cameras on the exterior of the building and in fact has one pointed directly at where my truck was parked and broken into. When the police inquiered with the hotel management they were informed that the cameras don't record… WHAT? They don't record? Absolute nonscense. I only wonder if the criminal was aware that the cameras don't record. I nothing from the hotel. No apology, no offer to help, no suggestion on who to call for glass repair. I can assure you that where I might stay at another Candlewood Suites I will not ever be staying at this one again.

I've gone twice to this hotel and the hotel has been pleasant. The kitchen is always clean and there is no hassle to get extra appliances, if needed.

Bed was a full instead of a queen like I asked for. Refrigerator was very loud. No breakfast included in stay. On the positive the room was very clean and had a kitchen if you needed that. Bathroom was very nice also. Would stay there again and make sure we got a queen bed.

Wow. I was very happy with this place. Great interior room. Recliner in front of tv, full fridge, stove with pots, pans, and utensils. Nice concession area with a 'trust payment' feature and free movie rentals at front desk. Gym could have more stuff in it but I was able to get a workout in, so that was nice. They also have this 'borrow center' with games, pens, wine openers, and a bunch of other cool stuff. One of my best stays at a hotel in awhile. Especially for the price. Oh and pet friendly. Im definitely bookmarking this place for future stays.

The room was very clean and roomy… I did not like the bed because it was too noisy… But for the price and the reason we we're their, it was good… Will recommend to family.

They are always consistent with our stay and everything is as it is shown online. Staff are very nice and the room and facility are clean. The rooms have small kitchenette which is nice if you have leftovers or want to cook something small. Bathrooms are good and beds are ok. All in all you can't beat it for the price.

We stay here every trip to Macon! Clean comfortable rooms with everything you need and the staff is always pleasant.

I only interacted with the front desk but they were very accommodating. I would definitely recommend Candlewood.

Enjoyed stay, despite a few issues such as outdoor propane grills need cleaning, as not all burners will light unless you light manually somehow and countertop burners in room didn't work the first two days until they repaired. Nice outdoor pool. Nice fitness center. Free laundry!

Rooms are great nice and very very clean. Kudos to their housekeeping staff for an excellent job on the cleaning. The free coffee and little store are great! Excellent staff will definitely stay with this place again but this time I will ask for 3rd floor because the idiots above our room mustve been a herd of cattle because all night long it sounded like they were gonna come though the ceiling. I definitely Left some sleep sheep somewhere because we were still tired every morning. Btw the train runs thrtough the area around 4 x's a night and I never heard it. Other than the cattle above us, it was an excellent place to stay!

Just off the Interstate, with a variety of food outlets nearby in case you want more breakfast than the vending-and-microwave offering. The rooms are modern, stylish, comfortable and very comprehensively equipped. Staff welcoming and friendly. If the suites concept is what you are looking for, this is a great place.

Candlewood in Macon has been extremely accommodating and the rooms here are great. Blake offered great customer service and is willing to go above and beyond for them. Would recommend for long stays in Macon and for anyone looking for a great value.

Small room, aging squeaky bed. Nice fridge and microwave. Decent bathroom. No backup generators, and electric water heaters. Thin walls.

Room was small but fairly clean. Full size fridge, two burner stove and a microwave. Again not much space to move around and with a family of 4 it can get a bit tight. It deserves a 3 1/2 star but can't give it that.

Very nice hotel with food comfortable beds and nice rooms. The three times I've stayed here there have been no bed bugs. Reasonable prices. Very great service.

We spend a night in Macon once or twice a year on our annual roundtrip drive between Sarasota and the upper Midwest. Quick on and off access to the interstate is a prerequisite, and this is the best of the three hotels we have used over the years. Front desk clerk was great during check-in. Welcoming and eager to please. We stayed on the top floor (3) and it was extremely quiet. Room was clean and comfortable. I was surprised at the shabby condition of some of the room furniture, the crumbling condition of the caulking in the shower, and the beginning of paint peeling in the bathroom. I don't expect that at the Candlewood's price point.

Great room good price, clean very nice people. Room had comfortable bed, big bathroom and a kitchen and separate sleeping bedroom. Pool looked nice but no time to swim. Would recommend to anyone traveling thru Georgia.

The rooms were quite comfortable. And it was a pleasant surprise to have a full size refrigerator and a small range. Also I loved the amount of space in the room. Service was very accommodating.

Full disclosure — I didn't actually stay at this hotel, but I did have an opportunity to experience their service and felt compelled to write a review. Through a system miscommunication, I was able to book a Reward Night stay tonight through IHG even though the hotel was already full. I am driving from MI to FL and after a 12 hour day, I stopped at a rest area about 15 minutes away to make the reservation. By the time I arrived, the front desk agent, Jessie, had already noticed the conflict and was on the phone with IHG working toward a resolution. She offered me a bottle of water, several apologies (though it wasn't her fault at all), and a few phone calls later, had me set up at another IHG property just across the parking lot. Her attitude, efforts and efficiency were incredibly appreciated after a very long day. I have no idea what the rooms look like, but the lobby was clean and welcoming, and Jessie's proactive customer service attitude will definitely have me booking a stay the next time I come through Macon.

After a flat tire on the interstate at 11:00 at night, we were in a bit of a bind because we had our two Labradors with us. We needed a place to stay so we could have our tire repaired in the morning. I called ahead, and the gentleman working the front desk was incredibly helpful. He took our name, and he had everything ready when we got there. The hotel was very clean. We have never travelled with our pets, so we weren't quite sure what to expect. We typically stay at Holiday Inn or Marriott brand hotels, so I was a little nervous. I shouldn't have been; this hotel was everything that we needed it to be on a rainy, frustrating night. This brand of hotel has certainly won our loyalty. Thanks for a great experience!

I normally have great things to say about any candlewood suites hotel. They have great rooms with kitchenettes, a nice gym, and free laundry machines. My only issue is the one night I stayed, my non smoking room smelled like cigarettes. It was almost unbearable. I wrote about it on my survey that they had sent me, but I have yet to hear back. Other than that, the hotel delivers on its great employees and services.

We were driving from Kentucky to Florida and needed a room somewhere to stay after Atlanta off I-75. First of all, I love intercontinental hotel group and this hotel is nice; and has reasonable rates with 5-star accomodations! Our suite had a full sized fridge, a mini kitchenette with small stove, dish washer, hand sink, amazing cabinetry filled with dishes. I was blown away. The shower, and bathroom were huge but I found long brown hairs in my shower and hanging on toilet seat (minor detail, didn't address it) A beautiful and comfortable captain chair dvd player in room (dvd loan library at front desk) and large comfy beds. I slept well and would stay again! Night auditor was great to us, thanks! They even have a small convenient store in the lobby. We thoroughly enjoyed our short lived stay, wishing it had been longer!

A experience! I have always enjoyed every time I have stayed at candlewood but im going to have to say that I'm disappointed with this candlewood. Because of the lady at the front desk. Which I will not say her name. But she was rude so if you dont want to deal with people like that then go somewhere else in Macon GA.

Was not satisfied dirty, mice, nobody ever at front desk. Don't waste your money.

Stay here! Great value, newer rooms, well laid out, friendly staff, etc. You won't be disappointed. Stayed here on way to FL — EXCELLENT.
