The hotel room was nice. There's Wi-Fi that doesn't require log in. I liked how the sink wasn't in the bathroom which allowed me to brush my teeth while someone else was using the shower.

Hair and mildew all over bathroom, AC froze up overnight so it was warm plus AC fan noise didn't cover up fridge buzzing, sink was stopped up, pool was clean (hence the added star) Update: "Guests at hotels do not always give accurate information concerning their stay. Please do not believe all negative reviews that you read about any property. This guest made our front desk staff aware of their issues during the night of their stay. Our staff immediately apologized and offered to move the guest to a new room close by and would have assisted them with the move. This guest declined to move despite all of the alleged issues. This is always a RED flag in the hotel business that could mean that a guest really doesn't have much of an issue at all but will ultimately want compensation the next day as was the case with this guest. " My family was asleep at 4 in the morning. Other than a fire, I saw no need in waking everyone up to move to a different room. "I personally spoke with the guest first thing in the morning and again apologized for any issues and immediately addressed every concern. I offered the guest a complimentary stay on any night of their choice and told them we would go with them to their room next time to verify that everything was in excellent condition. The guest accepted my offer but unfortunately the same guest has now gone online to this site within an hour and gave our property a horrible review that is not accurate.

Had a great stay! Wonderful service! Breakfast wasn't the best, no fruit or yogurt heavy on the bread. Rooms were great! Pool area is excellent, even has some pool toys and towels to use! Definitely an improvement from when it was Holiday Inn!

I am real and my experience. You are correct I wasn't the guess on file but I was there. The pool was filthy along with the carpet. My apologies if you don't agree with my review…

This is our go to hotel any time we are in the area. The hotel is nice, quiet and clean. The staff has always been friendly. The breakfast is comparable to any other free breakfast. The pool and hot tub are nice (as of our june visit the are being remodeled).

Comfortable beds! Good prices, well maintained hotel, that actually feels like home. Everyone we've dealt with here at Gateway Inn has been very nice and welcoming. Perfectly positioned central to numerous destinations.

Service was great. Breakfast was good. Staff is super nice. However our room keys kept malfunctioning and we never got a reason why.

The wife and I stayed there last night 2-24-2018 really friendly staff, clean room we had to leave early so can't comment on the breakfast. We'll stay again couldn't ask for much more, reasonably priced, easy parking, good location.

The Staff were amazing and very helpful. The hotel itself could use some maintenance, updates & carpet cleaning. But its in the perfect location to all areas…

Family members have stayed here. It was adequate. It is opening under new ownership fairly soon, I've been told.

I had a very pleasant stay at Gateway. The location was very convenient. The hot tub was cold, but other than that, no complaints. The room was clean, and breakfast was good.

Rooms were dingy… A. C. Noisy couldn't sleep well. Pool and hot tub looked like a dirt pool. Wasn't happy had a 4 day secdualed only stayed. One night. Still haven't gotten refund for days not used… been months waiting.

I was just visiting friends who were staying at the Inn, but from what I saw it had spacious clean rooms. The parking lot had a very narrow lane that was only wide enough for one car at a time.

Functional place to sleep. Room was clean. Breakfast was good.

They over booked their rooms (and apparently have a history of it). My mom spent all day having to wait for the owners to show up since the man at the front desk (who was nice) couldn't help us. Our first room smelled like cigarettes and feet so we had to be moved and on top of that every bed is worn out and sinks in. Not to mention all the hair left on the bed and mirror.

This was a nice and clean place to stay on our weekend adventure in North Georgia.

Coming From someone that grew up with a family that only stayed in fancy hotels, this hotel was great. It had everything I needed and the staff was very friendly.

Scenic town, beautiful view. My son loved the pool and the continental breakfast. Clean rooms, cozy beds, cable tv. Good spot to stay.

Convenient location with a gas station within walking distance. The people were nice and it was a basic room. It's a clean hotel with free coffee and cookies.

Miss Jill is the nicest person I have ever seen at a hotel. The room were clean and prefect. The bed was clean and cozy. Shower was clean with hot water. Breakfist had make it your self pancakes also there was eggs, biscuits, bagels, muffens, milk, yogurt, hot coffee, juice, sausege gravy. I loved it. Go there.

Absolutely best hotel in the area! Very clean renovated rooms, nice comfortable beds. Just hope management keeps this one up, all others in the area are horrible.

We were surprised when we drove into the parking lot at Gateway Inn and Suites since a Holiday Inn Express sign still visible for we had read negative reviews of that place. When I asked about the name, the staff told us that it was a rather recent change — and that the motel had been recently renovated. It was a good stay: friendly staff, comfortable and spacious room, quiet environment, and a nice breakfast.
