I'm so in love with this place! The Staff are wonderful. The house keeper needs to be trained the correct way & learn some English. But other than that the rooms are clean & the breakfast is simple stuff. If you want a good breakfast go to huddle house or sonic it's right next door & if you need anything else fred's is right across from the hotel also with no traffic. I have stayed here several time's off & on & also lived there for several months & would stay there again & I have seen a lot of posts about Bed Bugs & that's not true! So if you want a nice quiet place to stay with good a/c & heat & clean beds & towels then The Bragg is your place! come stay with them. I'm sure most of you will love it. If you don't I'm sorry shouldn't be so hard to please… K. B.

Reserved Jacuzzi room. Checked in. Room reeked of old smoke. Plastic flower garlands and black lights. Pulled covers back and sheets were dirty and heavily stained. Quickly got a refund and left. Should be rented by the hour. Yuck.

The rooms are ok. I've seen worse. There is a fridge and microwave. The service is good. It's located a little off the road so there isn't alot of traffic.

Wreaked of cigarette odor and shower would not drain, not enough towels and towels were dingy and stained! 100.00 a night for a roach motel! Never again.

For the convience of the location it's not bad. Walking distance to several restaurants, a Fred's and the chickamauga battlefield. The room was clean, everything worked and I saw no bugs. The staff was friendly and polite. I gave it 4 stars based off the fact it's not that old, but needs an update. Otherwise, I would recommend this to a friend. Clean, quiet rooms for a reasonable price.

My boyfriend and I had booked a single night in a single room for our anniversary (We had come to see the historical sites together). When we pulled up, the Manager greeted me, was very funny and courteous. I mentioned it was our anniversary and on the spot he upgraded our room to a Master suite! We walked in and all the fixings of a fine room were there, the room was clean, the air was clear and it was nothing like what the other reviews have said. The room is outfitted with a king bed, which was clean save for a few cigatette burn holes in the outer layer of the comforter, a slightly outdated TV with cable, a Jacuzzi tub, a vanity dresser, a desk and a mini fridge. The carpet reminded me of something you might find in a retro styled roller skate rink, and didn't aesthetically blend with the drapes or comforter. There were very few issues. There were only two towels and no trash bags, and the Jacuzzi tub occasionally sputtered. But the hot water heater worked great, and the water pressure was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. One for the location, two for the service and three for the amenities.

The Rooms was not clean they were nasty in the phone line stayed busy forever…

Nothing special and def over priced for what they give you.

Nice place but no cleaning at alll.

Older motel, super thin walls, and dogs barking, but right next door to Fred's, Sonic and Huddle House so get what cha pay for. Does have micro, fridge and desk area to work.

Clean, affordable, and not alot of noise.

Room had multiple kinds of bugs. Front desk staff sucks have to call the inn just to get him at his desk. Had marijuana and a small bsg of something black in the room upon arrival. Cleaning staff almost broke the door lock off by pushing the locked door open trying to come in and clean 2 hours before check out time. Honestly had high hopes for this place but once you see the employees and the rooms you realize its just another nice looking hotel that's actually run down and full of bugs and drugs.

Stayed for two nights with my boyfriend and it was great! Had a few small "ehhh" moments but other then that I'll definitely stay here again if I need to. Bed was comfortable, AC worked perfectly and I loved that I could watch impractical Jokers real late quietly. The small problems were a mediocre breakfast, and a mediocre shower. I could also hear someone blasting music in a different room but I was able to sleep at least. Other than that I loved it!

We've been staying here for over a month now on Business and the staff and Faculity have been great. The only complaint we have is that the walls are very thin and u can hear everything the person in the next room is doing, other than that it's a place I would recommend to my Family and Friend's.

Decent rooms but in the middle of nowhere.

Paper thin walls. We spent all night listening to room 111 's unending passion (5 unending passion's! )

Horrible… the a/c didnt work, half the lights didn't work, killed a bug, hair dryer didn't work, dirty rag left in shower, paper thin walls and the most lovely of all a box of condoms on the floor.

If your looking for a cheap motel, this is it. Not the worst I have stayed in. Lobby and check in closes at 9.

Front desk attendant had some initial issues checking us in, but we soon got to our room without any real delay. Room was serviceable, with a typical hotel room layout. Great AC unit, and the TV was accessible for plugging in HDMI cords. Internet service was intermittent. Bathtub was horrible, with a large crack in the base. I felt very uneasy using the shower as the floor was spongy underneath. The walls are very thin, and my sleep was disturbed by crying children often. There is a decent breakfast offered each morning. Overall, not the greatest hotel stay but far from the worst.

Asked for smokin and was told he didnt have any. When I looked for my self I saw 2 or 3 on the backside. Was put next to a room with a door seperating me from a cringbaby that kept me up all night. Good thing I didnt have to work the next day. When I went to ask for coffee cups to drink coffee in my room I was asked to come back after 7:00. Then the toilet was leaking and got my socks wet. This being a new building I didnt think that would happen.

My first and last time staying at this place. I stayed there for two nights eveything appeared to be fine until two days later they charged several hundred dollars to my account and when I called to inquire about this they stated that when the room was left there was a funny smell in the room. I smoke cigarettes and they did not have a smoking room anywhere bit I still respected the establishment by not smoking in their room. But being a smoker my clothes tend to have a cigarette smell by the end of the day. Apparently this justifies them to charge me for smoking OUTSIDE of the hotel and bringing the 'ashtray' smell back into the room. They also said that the coffee pot had been stolen and that was also why they charged so much. This is ridiculous I do not even drink coffee and I should not be held responsible for their mistakes in not noticing that the coffee pot was NEVER IN MY ROOM from the very beginning of the stay. They do not check their inventory efficiently and then charge customers for their own mistakes. I am very disappointed and expected much more from an establishment in a reputable town such as chickamauga. I am searching for some sort of legal action to take in order to recover my stolen money that they took from my account without justifiable evidence. To top it all off during my stay the neighbor next door had an unknown number of screaming children in the room the kept me awake all hours of the night.

Do not stay here! I wish I had seen the sign in the lobby that says "Reservations cannot be cancelled or changed after 15 minutes. " I would have been tipped off from the beginning. The lobby smelled like cigarette smoke, gross! The room looks okay at first, but once you lay down, you will see that the pillows are hard, lumpy, and small. We went to Wal-Mart and bought pillows after the first night because they were SO BAD! The shampoo/conditioner in the bathroom was in a packet that looked like a ketchup packet. It was impossible to open. Again, we bought some real shampoo and conditioner at Wal-Mart the next day. We would have cancelled our reservation if not for the policy posted in the lobby (that we saw the next day). My relatives stayed at a nearby Super 8 and their room was much nicer, if that tells you anything.

Its 30mins away from Ruby falls, and for the price you wont find anything nicer than this. The host was very nice as well.

Worst experience ever. Bugs came out from my room. I should have sued them back in august 2013.
