Do not stay here. I stayed here couple of times and Internet here sucks. YOu can not even browse forget about playing videos. Do not stay here unless you have your own strong internet.

My family always stays here when visiting Athens. The rooms are always clean and comfortable, the staff is friendly, and we are treated well.

Clean room and recently remodeled. Breakfast was good. Quiet and ac worked good. Shower was a little lacking.

The rooms and the lobby are more updated than the rest of the facility. My room was clean and spacious. The refrigerator was noisy, but that’s not uncommon. The breakfast was adequate but the coffee wasn’t worth drinking. Head to Starbucks only a half mile away. For the money, it’s not too bad.

I stayed here for a week while traveling for work. Hotel was clean. Breakfast selection was small. I would stay here again.

Get in late, got upgraded to a suite for free. Nice! Good breakfast too.

The rooms were clean and nice. The elivator smelled a little funky but not the worst experience I've had at a hotel. The breakfast was great. I would stay here again.

This location is nice but the management of this hotel is a cruel and evil man. He still has employed a front desk clerk that will drink and smoke on the job but my friend called out one day and because her co-workers couldn't get in touch with her let her go. He's a moron. And I will not be staying at this hotel ever again.

The staff was extremely helpful with a few requests that I had including asking for a pack and play and a little milk for my toddler and a place to freeze my ice packs to my cooler. They made my stay as close to being at home as possible. The hotel was a few miles further from some of the competition that was closer to my venue but completely worth the stay. I have not been treated as good at some 4 and 5 star resorts as I was treaded during our stay with your property.

Was lied to about price when I made reservations, was lied to by clerk, then clerk very disrespectful and was very condescending when I decided to stay somewhere else. I went to the Hampton Inn. Glad I did. I would not recommend Comfort Inn Athens to anyone.

Midnight/Morning staff sleeping on job. I specifically requested night before I left that I be able to grab a hard boiled egg in morning, before breakfast hours, because I have a wee hour flight out of Atlanta. I watched evening gal write a note. At 3:30am I go to front desk, lady was nowhere to be found. After 5 minutes she comes stumbling out of back office yawning and clearing her eyes, has that just wiped drool face. Says she didn't hear me and then says "nobody told me nothing, ain't nothing until breakfast time". Nice professional attitude and use of English language, and what happened to my request! Lobby bathroom was nasty, toilet clearly not wiped, sink disgusting, looks like hasn't been cleaned since morning before. What does this woman do besides sleep all night?

Comfort Inn and Suites in Athens was very nice. The lobby is being renovated but other than that everything was great.

Staff was not knowledgeable of fluctuating rates, & therefore I was charged $150 for a Friday Night, & $450 for the very next night. I consider this price gouging. I tried to contact the GM multiple times, But he never returned my call & I've had to resort to disputing my credit card charges.

This hotel had an awesome staff ALL of them. The breakfast it wonderful. It might be outdated but it’s very clean and comfortable … they really take good care of you at this Comfort Suites. It’s perfect for University if Georgia football games.

Had a great stay here. Our family had 2 separate rooms which were both very clean! The staff was very helpful (and patient, haha) when we were trying to decide what type of rooms we needed. This location is very convenient to everything in Athens! A special thank you to Michelle! She was so nice, & so helpful with all of our needs! She is definitely an asset to this establishment! Second time staying here, and will definitely stay here on our next visit to Athens!

Great place to spend my birthday with family and friends. Good view, nights by the pool, visits to the gym, comfortable king bed and the best breakfast ever! Homemade cookies and coffee 24 hours a day. Don't want to leave!

I am very very Impressed with the hospitality received by Michelle the lady at the front desk all from my first phone call to her to when we left the next morning. The room was awesome. Very clean very nice very impressed! Would deffanatly stay here again. Thank you again for all that you did Michelle u were awesome!

Good stop, clean upon arrival. Room was cold. However, every door that closes throughout the entire hotel can be heard in your room, as can the water pipes all night long. Not the best place for rest.

I had a wonderful stay, I was pleased by he efficient manor in which the front desk operated at check in. The rooms are so clean and well kept. I had not trouble with the construction going on on an adjacent property. The new hotel will amazing im sure. I couldn't ask for more for the great price of just under a hundred on a Saturday … very fair given the options.

My check-in took 20 minutes. The line was so long and they only had 1 clerk working the counter at 6pm on a Monday. Really? Room 303 needs a plumber. The toilet runs very loudly every 97 seconds. I counted because it kept me up all night. Also, the one-piece cloth shower curtain is so long you step on it the whole time while taking a shower. That's gross and unsanitary unless you wash the shower curtain after every guest. My first time ever visiting Athens and as a Choice Hotels member I must say this is the first time my hotel was a disappointment. I'll be there on business again soon and will definitely stay somewhere else.

Staff is very friendly but, 80% of the place could use some updating. The room was okay but the bathroom was terrible. There was a ring in the toilet bowl, a chip in the bathtub, very poor drainage in both the tub and the sink, the shower rod was broken and hanging so low it hit me in the head. When pulling up to the property my first impression was it looked like at one time they had some very nice Landscaping. It's a pity they didn't keep up with it. I know the weather has gotten cooler, but if you're not going to cover the pool, you shouldn't let it turn green. No one wants to look at that. All in all I was a little disappointed with this property.

Noisy neighbors, room for handicap wasn't available as requested, parking not the best. Otherwise, room was clean, reception desk great, breakfast good.

Attentive staff and good hospitalty.

Accommodations were lack at best. Pool is very dirty, room accommodations are less than par for a "4/5 star" hotel, our reservations were mixed up and when we tried to find availability at the time we were supposed to check in there was a $20 p/ night up charge for the mix up bc of a "no cancellation" policy. The bathtub drain stayed stopped up and the towels had hair from the staff. We will not be coming back!

Very clean, comfortable, spacious rooms. Just finishing up a week long stay here in Athens for business and looking forward to coming back in March. Natalie at the front desk is an absolute blessing. Very personable and a great disposition with all the customers. Always greeted me with a beautiful smile and a warm hello upon returning to the hotel daily.

Wonderful stay! Good location to downtown, nice clean large room, comfortable bed, great breakfast and the staff were all extremely friendly and accommodating! Highly recommended!

Whenever I need to get away, I always use this location and I must say that this location has gotten a lot of my business and they have welcomed my business. I did however have a need to request a special rate just once and spoke to Manager Minosh Patel (name may not be spelled correctly) whom I found to be extremely rude and he kept interrupting my conversations and kept talking over me as I was speaking. I must say that this is the very first time I've experienced such horrible customer service there and it will be the very last time. Comfort Inn Atlanta Highway, if you desire to have repeat customers, you must show yourself customer friendly at ALL times. Never again will I utilize this location and this is the end of what once was a very good relationship…

Very unethical owners. Misleading and will not work with you. I tried to cancel and had issues online. Called the day afterwards and they charged me $470 for one night stay that's 30 days out. When I called originally to Save The room, it was 24 hour notice. Very shady and will pass word on to inform others! I will not pay these fraudulent charges. Owner and general manager are unhelpful.

Nice place to stay. The pool was cool. All my little nephews enjoyed it. Great fitness center. Conference room too small for our party. Continental breakfast… Ok. Had sausage on Friday. No meat for breakfast on Saturday or Sunday. Had sausage for breakfast on Monday. Overall great breakfast. Thanks, Becky. Housekeeping staff great kept up with towels in the room. Other family member Misplaced an item after checkout… it was returned before I left the building THANKS housekeeping staff and YOU Tabitha for the hospitality that you gave are family this past weekend. This will be where I would stay when I come back to Athens.
