We was very disappointed in our stay at The Modern Inn. The staff was friendly, but the quality of room wasn't that great at all. The bed was nothing more than a pull out bed. The room's cleanliness wasn't all that good. We could tell the floors had not been swept and the table had not been wiped off. There was pet hair everywhere. The toilet moved when sat on and made noises while in the shower and during the night. The ac was loud to the point we couldn't hear the TV. The shower curtain was missing several rings to hold it up, and there wasn't a toilet paper holder. No hair dryer, coffee maker, ironing board, cups or ice bucket, there wasn't plug ins to charge our cell phones. Over all very disappointed.

Very nice place and clean. Our stay was unexpected as our cabin was double booked for the night. Glad we found the Modern Inn.

I would never stay here again. It was past midnight and someone bangs on the door yelling this is security, the guy is wearing normal clothing with a hat. The guy bangs on the door again and I don't answer. I look out of the window and see the front desk lady and I open the door and the guy says there's complaints of Marijuana. I told the guy I smelled it earlier and he goes to the next door neighbor and bangs on his door. Same thing happens. There were people outside talking past midnight. Probably better to stay in your car at a rest stop.

Very nice and cozy room! Owners were super nice! Everything in the rooms looked to be brand new. Everyone that worked there was super nice! Very good price! Don’t let the outside fool you, the rooms are very clean and really nice! Don’t judge a book by its cover on this one! My only complaint is that our beds were super hard. I’m not sure if all the beds are the same but ours were super hard! But I would definitely stay again without hesitation either way! We were in town for the rodeo, so we needed late check out and they worked with us! Can’t say enough about our stay. Even with the hard beds it was still a great experience!

Roger the new owner of Modern Inn, great man. He has recently renovate the hotel, each room has it's own style you will not find 2 rooms the same in this modern hotel. Roger also goes above & beyond to please his customers, not many hotel owners take the time to listen to what their customers has to say weather it's good or bad. Modern Inn has come along way & they are still improving. Can't wait to see once they are done. Keep up the good work!

Super cute and clean on the inside. Very helpful office personnel. It does need a better lit sign on the outside. Firm mattress. Remodeled well on the inside, but you couldn’t tell from driving by. I’d definitely stay there again and I have already recommended it to my friends.

Decent place to stay. Affordable as well. The outside doesn't look like much. The rooms has been recently renovated and are brand new inside. The mattresses are new and nice and firm but the pillows are a joke. Bring your own pillow. You may have to walk a bit from the parking lot too. I would stay again. Conveniently located right off US 76 just south of Blue Ridge.

We stayed at the modern Inn for one night and it did not disappoint! the owner of the property is a welcoming person . The hotel is very cozy and the location is convenient, the staff was very attentive and helpful. The beds were really comfortable too. We felt very taken care of. Thanks so much to the Modern Inn staff. If we go back to Blue Ridge, we will stay at the Modern Inn again.

Nice people enjoyed my several days that I stay there places in transition from old to remodeled still has a ways to go needs road sign to find wish they had fridge in the room I would go back if in the area.

We walked in with no reservation at about 9pm, having read a lot of reviews about the place. The staff seemed fairly new to the hotel business, but everyone was friendly. The rooms are newly remodeled, clean, simple, and quiet. We had some minor problems stemming from the remodel, but they were taken care of quickly and professionally. We would definitely stay here again.

Room is clean but does not offer many amenities commonly found in many hotels. Upon check-in the hotel clerk was very nice and mentioned if I need extra towels toilet paper or anything to ask. Bed is memory foam and I found it comfortable but bring your own pillow, the hotel pillows aren't comfortable. I rated 4 stars because I was happy with my stay. Very professional and kind, accommodating staff! The rooms were very modern and clean. It was a quiet and peaceful stay!

The Modern Inn, is the best motel I've stayed at in Georgia. With fresh newly remodeled rooms. For an older motel, it is fantastic. Super friendly staff. The very best price in the Blueridge area. Hopefully as they progress they'll add breakfast. I guess we'll see about that. I'll be going back every time I'm in the area.

Very very pleased with this inn. Pet friendly and welcoming. Tracey the front desk receptionist was very pleasant. Walked out to inspect our room and ensured the heat was on as we pulled around to our room. The rooms were very clean. Nicely decorated and modern. The beds were New and very comfortable. I m a diamond member with the Hilton chain but I can say honestly I'd prefer to stay here. Will defiantly stay here again and highly recommend that my friends will also.

Was still being built but the rooms were beautiful. Except for one lady who worked there with an axent. She was a skinny girl, maybe Asian. And was completely rude. I got in to not one but 2 arguments with her due to the fact of her butting in our business. Like asking if the owner new we had a dog. I don't know, maybe call him? Maybe take the paw print off your huge sign by the highway? Then I went upstairs to take a picture for Google Maps, and she literally cussed at me. Maybe put a sign? A rope? Anything that says to not go upstairs? Due to this lady being insanely rude and unprofessional like cursing in front of a 11 year old, I will not return to the establishment until she is no longer there, there are plenty affordable hotels I could go to where this is not an issue. Change your staff, and you would have a great business.
