The worst Hilton I’ve ever stayed at, my in-laws gotten there round 3:30 to check in and was told they had to wait because Harlem Globe trotters was there, no excuse they were senior citizens had to sit out in the lobby till 7:45p and was still charged full price for the night we all should have left but they was tired from the long ride from VA. Unacceptable,, also the air conditioner wasn’t working inside the elevator nor the hallways at 90 degrees or higher, front desk never mentioned it we all had to find out on our on about it,, left for a short period of time came back the elevator wasn’t working at the time had to walk up to the 4th floor, felt like I couldn’t breathe in the hallway when I’ve reached my room at 425 met the house keeper Supervisor named Kenyatta she was very helpful she went and gotten me a bucket of ice to drink some cold water I was very appreciative of that.

The hotel itself is beautiful. The lobby was spotless and the property the hotel was on was highly maintained. The staff was polite and very accommodating. The room was beyond cleanly and even the temperature was set perfectly. So hotel rates a 10/10. Unfortunately it is not in the best of areas. The Waffle House is directly next door, which stays open 24 hours. And even though it was a Thursday night, there were people loudly conversating until at least 4 a. M. There was also constant traffic which consisted of loud bass and exhausts.
Overall, it is a wonderful hotel in a not so good neighborhood.

I really enjoyed the brunch with my family and friends the atmosphere was great the staff was very polite and helpful I would attend again see you soon.

This is one of the most accommodating places we’ve stayed in quite some time. The wait staff is unbelievably friendly and helpful. The small restaurant serves great food! Love the chef and the servers!

Restaurant not prepared for large groups. There was no excuse to not to have thawed chicken wings on Thursday, February 27, 2020. Tonight is the last night of conference. There will be an increase of people requiring food before and after 7 PM worship service. Be ready! One server is not enough when your hotel is booked near capacity.

Awesome hotel and spacious accommodation lovely.

Awful customer service. I came to the hotel and walked in to make a reservation and advise I was a Hilton Honors member. The front desk clerk told me told go to my car an make reservations online to get the discount. I upset first of all he didn’t allow me to go to the business center. Next it’s raining outside and when I called the 800 number I had to wait more than 20 minutes to speak with a manager/supervisor. As of this review I am still sitting in my car in the rain.

Love it here. The customer service is wonderful! The hotel is clean. Even the visitor men and woman bathroom. Lovely and friendly staff.

The room was clean and quiet. However, the service downstairs during breakfast was spectacular. The hostess was very hospitable, patient, and fast. Loved the stay! Keep it up!

Love the location and the staff but the hotel itself was "just okay. " The hallways and elevators has no air (very stuffy and hot)! The bed had a huge dip in the middle of the mattress. The iron cord would not stay extended while ironing. The ironing board pad was flimsy and kept falling off. Notable things were in poor condition. But the staff was nice and the neighbors were quiet.

The staff at this hotel are number one in customer service. I arrived late after a long drive with my 91 year old mother to visit my sister who was critically ill in the hospital. We were exhausted, starving and tearful. The precious girls at the front desk (please see who checked us in and out) the lady in the dining room, Anne, and the security guard Mr. Simmons took such good care of me and more importantly my mother. I was so grateful to be surrounded by such caring people and I felt safe leaving my mother in her room while I spent a late night at the hospital with my sister. The housekeeping staff were equally kind and attentive and helpful. Also the food in the dining was very good. My mom is so hard to please and she loved everyone and everything at the Hilton Garden Inn. Also I was so thankful that even though the hotel was sold out it was very quiet. I stayed in a room overlooking the park across the street and river. Very pretty. I will always stay at this hotel when visiting Albany. I would like to thank everyone there for making a difficult journey easier for our family.

Good little hotel for those visiting Albany, Ga. Staff is super friendly and bend over backwards to help with whatever you need. Their continental breakfast is not free, and is over priced for what they have. They have an option for a more extensive breakfast, but this is over priced as well. Dinner and drinks within the hotel are reasonable, but there are several cheaper places within walking distance of the hotel. Rooms were cleanish, and serviced daily by a limited staff who seem to be overworked, yet still extremely helpful and friendly. The staff there made the experience enjoyable.

Breakfast was good (I had an omelette and french toast), the rooms and bathrooms were clean. The exercise room was nice. The staff was really pleasant, very friendly.

Karlos and Francisco were the best. Hotel service at its finest. This hotel would do well to keep these two! The bartender that night (and I'm sorry I didn't get his name) made the very best margarita I have ever had. This hotel was clean, safe (for me) and friendly!

I was visiting a guest at the hotel. We dined in the hotel restaurant. The server was good, but it took a very long time for the food to be prepared and brought to the table. Outside of that, nice experience, friendly staff.

I was not a customer but was downtown for the marathon. The area was packed with runners and supporters and I stopped inside. I was impressed with professionalism and politeness of staff handling the whirlwind of people, the cleanliness of the lobby and restroom, and the overall welcoming feel, and never heard a single complaint during the chaos. Again I wasn't staying and can't speak for the rooms but based on my interactions and impression I would recommend the hotel to family or friends visiting.

Had to attend a yearly conference. Booked our room thru a third party. Room was so nice. Very clean! Staff was so nice. Helpful. And professional. Customer Service was a 5 plus. Hotel stay for next years conference will definitely be Hilton Garden in Albany Georgia.

This is my go to hotel for any trip to Albany. The only reason for four 4 vs 5 was that the age of the hotel is starting to show a little. The service is outstanding, there's a great restaurant, and it is easy to find. It is directly across the street from Albany State University. The Flint River is also out front with a park to walk. Very nice and at the center of town.

I had a very nice stay. Glendetta at the front desk is super professional and so nice! She was the best of all the front desk associates. Everything was clean and all the housekeeping staff were friendly. I hope to return on my next visit to Albany.

I spent one night March 14th, unfortunately I wasn't told the roof was being replaced. I listened to horrible banging noises four solid hours. Finally around 8:00pm the noise stopped! I called guest service the young lady was very kind and apologized. Honestly I want a refund that would be absolutely fair! Customers comfort should always be considered during renovation. Discount service, offer a free meal… something! Shame on you Hilton.

We had a good stay staff was very polite, suite was very clean. The overall appearance was just like the pictures on their website. I will be going back and look forward to seeing the staff and excellent service. Azizah, Nakam and Miss Linda and the rest of the staff see y'all soon.

The staff is very friendly and polite. Every encounter with staff was pleasant. The room was nice but the floor and ottoman was stained. We choose to stay here to take advantage of the hot tub. However, despite listing and the photos, the hot tub was filled it with concrete and there was patio furniture on top. In addition the shower was cold on our second day. First day was fine. The food is also very good.

Awesome lobby. Awesome rooms. They had free drink out in the lobby, pink lemonade, sweet tea, it was cool. They also had great drinks at the lobby bar. Best part was definitely the dude cooking up breakfast, he killed it.

I had a wonderful stay here, the hotel was right across the street from the Albany Civic Center where were going for a concert and on the other side the river and Ray Charles memorial. It was a very nice location central to about everything with a wonderful view. The hotel staff was friendly the room superb. My only con about my stay here was the unfortunate charge for a smoking fee. I did follow up with hotel staff to be partly given an explanation but I did follow up through Twitter.

Nice clean place to stay when you are away from home. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The Staff are friendly and helpful, very professional.

Had a whirlpool suite. Loved it. Downstairs bar was convenient. However, jets didn't work in whirlpool the second night. Otherwise, this would have been a five star stay.

Didn't go to the hotel. Went to the Fireworks event downtown. Not many people showed up. And the ones that did show up were leaving before the fireworks ended. The hotel was a nice backdrop I guess.

A mandatory stop when passing through Albany! I grew up on these. 15 all the way and a couple of strawberry sodas! Yes sir!

Beautiful hotel, I compare quarterly for a meeting and they always are top notch. One of these days I'd like to get there and stay for a couple of days and enjoy the city of Albany.

Nice rooms. Lobby is very classy. It’s Hilton, so no free breakfast. Coffee was good. I’d stay here again without reservation, so to speak.

Creaky beds, missing blinds/curtains, large red stain near bed and dirty floor (felt gross to walk barefoot). I can't account for the other rooms, but I was a bit disappointed. The staff was really friendly, patient, and thoughtful though.

Booked the wrong date while evacuating from Hurricane Irma and they REFUSE to refund me for the room that I never even used as the date was wrong and they had no rooms available. Hope you feel good about stealing $150 from natural disaster victims who made a simple mistake while evacuating for their lives…

This is a very popular hotel and the scene is just right. The mausoleum of Ray Charles just opposite is an added attraction.

We were attending an event at the Albany Civic Center across the street, so the location was good. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, though when the person next to us decided to turn on the TV at 12:30 am, we could hear it.

It is pretty and comfortable and the staff were very nice. The water pressure was so slight it took almost 30 minutes to get the Jacuzzi filled up enough to run. We booked a special deal with breakfast included and when we got here they said it would be 11.50 per person. I have never had to pay for a Continental breakfast. It's not as though they offered anything that great.

I had to evacuate Florida due to Hurricane Irma and ended up at the Hilton Garden Inn in Albany, GA. While the hotel was nice, it was the amazing people that worked there that truly made this stay enjoyable. Such a great group of people! Every single employee that I met and chatted with was just beyond KIND and sweet and friendly! They were able to turn a somewhat stressful situation into a trip that I truly enjoyed. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. I've told many people upon my return about my great experience in Albany. From the super sweet ladies running the front desk to Wilbur, their nighttime security guard, who was just a blast to chat with, to all of the rest of their staff, just such beautiful people! If I ever find myself in Albany again, I'd stop by just to say hello to my new friends. I can't thank you all enough! During a time when so many people were cranky and panicing, you all remained GOOD, and GOOD is a tough quality to come by these days! Thank you again. I wish you all the most beauty, blessings and happiness in life!

I wont use a hotel comforter. The only blanket available was the comforter. I turned on the heat so I wouldnt need a blanket, and the heater emitted a burning smell that set off the smoke alarm. Granted, it was August and the heater likely wasn't used all summer, but the smell lingered all night and there wasn't a window to open or fan available to air out the room. The view was horrible, as it was just a wall with a window to the hotel hallway. Customer service was really good. The bed was comfortable.

Beautiful, My Family had a wonderful Stay with the Hilton Garden Inn Family. We were in Albany for a cousin's funeral and I don't think we could have made a better choice. Ask for the second floor study ♡

Room was NOT cleaned very well. I stayed here 4 nights and the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night several times. Uncomfortable beds. No water pressure in the shower. The staff acted like they didn't want to be there. When I complained that the Whirlpool in my room was not working correctly, I was told to 'hit the emergency shut off button and deal with it'. No refund, compensation or even an apology. I asked to switch rooms and was told they weren't able to help me. Don't waste your time here. Stay at the Hampton near the mall. You will have a MUCH better experience.

Clean, friendly and a great location. The park just out of the front door is very relaxing and convenient for a little fishing for bass. Great retreat for the business traveler in Albany.

This is probably the best hotel in Albany. Right axross the street from the river walk and the Ray Charles statue. Very pleasant staff. Clean, quiet rooms.

I had an OUTSTANDING 2 night stay on May 29, 2016 at the Hilton Garden Inn. They are missing 2 more stars so I will give them (7) ******* The Entire Staff The Front desk staff Kim, Shannon, Chatoya, Kesha & Carmela were AMAZING always had a smile & greeted us with a welcome to make me come back again & again. I also enjoyed the room it was great the pillows were plush the beds were soft and the bathrooms were clean & they had a frig & micro with a KERIUG Coffee maker. Oh yeah! even My view was fabulous looking right out of the front of the property of Ray Charles Plaza. Just a beautiful scenery with a quiet room. Even the housekeepers spoke & were so pleasant, I should have got their names they were nice also and I called for for housekeeping & Vickie was so sweet & brought what I needed with a smile. Also I ate breakfast & lunch it was DELICIOUS. Cheese grits & bacon. Then I sat outside and Tyrone was such a Gentleman and was a great waiter/cook Then Kaysha who was my server and Kaysha did a Phenomenal Job she was doing it ALL! with a Smile & back to check up on us. My fish & fries lunch & sitting outside was quiet & sweet. I am ready to come back & have another fabulous stay. GOD BLESS YOU ALL & Thank you ALL for making my stay FABULOUS… :) ;) :) I have a place I can call home away from home!

Hotel in great location. Nice park and running trail across the street. Riom clean and ready at check in time. Breakfast very good and staff friendly.

My stay at the Hilton was an amazing experience! Well worth it. Excellent staff, clean rooms, just overall great!

The hotel is very nice, though the floors could use a little more cleaning. Also the bathrooms do not have changing tables which made it difficult for me with my 10 month old son. Otherwise everything was great, staff was very nice and we felt very welcome in the lobby.

Hotel refuses to let you check in before 1500. Horrible customer services, no smiles from host. They with hold information about room rates you have to ask otherwise you ll be paying too much. The only good is that they have military discounts. Continue driving there are better hotels near the mall.

Starbucks wasnt open and when it was the coffee was horrible. And all I could hear all night was club music.

Meets and exceeds expectations for Hilton Garden Inn. Room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic. The food and coffee were very good and the service was exceptional. Shannon was our server and she was working the whole breakfast on her own. She did a great job. She greeted us quickly and brought me a cup of coffee before I even sat down. Good for families!

I met Lavert there in the lobby. He was vry friendly, down to earth kind of guy. Had a good lunch there.

We stayed for 3 nights and everything was perfect. The rooms were a little small but the employees were friendly and the rooms were clean and the Ray Charles memorial is across the street. Turtle park is pretty close as well. So this is a great place to stay for several nights.

On 11/19/13 a group of friends called and made reservations for about 10 people which did end of being 13 people. But they did have table ready when we got there. However, the manager of the restaurant for some reason only had 1 waitress doing everything from serving drinks at bar, helping cook, room service, the other side of the hotel, etc. We waited about an 1 1/12 hours before we even received our food. Then it took another hour just to get our tickets. If this is any indication of how the management of this motel runs things, then I will never recommend or stay here or even attempt to eat here again. It was one of the worst dining experiences and the food really was not even that great. If this is what you get I do not think you would want to even book an event here.

This is a really great place to stay! The ataff are extremely friendly and helpful. There is a great park and river walkway across the street. There is not a good selection of restaurants close by but the hotel restaurant is awesome! They bring in some excellent entertainment.

We stayed four days and had a very positive experience. Clean room, very friendly front staff. Excellent breakfast made to order. Was close to Phoebe Putney Hospital. Good barbecue next door. Park across the street was pretty and the surroundings were very pleasant.

Clean hotel, but SERIOUS need of a technology overhaul. Internet felt like dial-up and TV's are still old style and they block inputs from digital media players and HDMI devices. Pretty much every other Hilton has inputs on the desks for media players now, so not sure why this one is so far behind.

Room was very nice. North side parking lot is not very well lite. Staff was very friendly. Did not use restaurant. We had a good view of the Ray Charles park across the street.
