A rocket launch was announced when we were just in Florida.
We didn't want to miss that!
Since the start date should be at 6 o'clock in the morning and our holiday house is about 4 hours away, we have reserved a hotel room.
Unfortunately, the start was postponed in the short term and so in the short term we could not have cancelled or rebooked. The hotel was super accommodating and has rebooked the room at no extra charge.
So on the second date we drove to Titusville the day before. First we looked around the site and followed some tips on the Internet, from where you can see the launch of the rocket well. Because we didn't want to wander around in the dark the next morning.
Then we checked in at the hotel.
The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly.
We were also greeted very nicely and then received 3 vouchers that we were allowed to take breakfast for free.
The hotel room had 2 queen beds (for 3 people). It was not very large, but sufficient.
Equipped with TV, writing desk, refrigerator and microwave. There was also free coffee and tea.
The carpet was not very fresh and the armchair made a not so great impression.
The box-spring beds, however, were great and we all slept very well.
We paid for the room about €100.
In the meantime it is much more expensive (€153, which I find for a 3 star hotel but clearly overpriced).
By the way, there is also an outdoor pool, which we did not use.
Breakfast the next day: I must say that was unfortunately not my case at all.
A very small selection and what there was was partly not very tasty.
Bacon rubber-like, scrambled eggs tasted sticky…
Well, if I had to pay for it, I would have been very annoyed.
The service at breakfast was super fast and attentive and that the coffee here is so watery, this is unfortunately typical of America and there can be no use for it.
Overall I would recommend the Hotel Limited (the price I leave outside, yes everyone needs to know what it is willing to pay), but breakfast should be taken outside better.
