We stayed in the Sandpiper Villa. Overall we were very pleased and had a wonderful time. For the money it is a very good value. I've written some things we really liked about it and some things we weren't crazy about. Mostly these are things to be aware of not really complaints per sae. Don't let any of it deter you from staying here. I would recommend a stay here without any reservations. Things we loved about it: Very well stocked. You really don't need to bring anything besides yourself, your clothes, and your food. The bikes are in good condition and there are plenty of beach chairs, coolers, etc. I can't overstate how convenient this was. The location is very nice. It is quiet, the beach is close and access to the rest of the island is very convenient. The backyard grill/deck area is nice and cozy. The screened in porches on top and bottom level were excellent in the evening. The master bedroom is very large and the king size bed was quite comfortable. The things we weren't crazy about: One of the house rules is "Air conditioning must be set no lower than 76 F". Honestly, I've never stayed in a rental condo that had a requirement like this. We tried to abide by this rule but even with the fans on full blast the only room that was comfortable at this temperature was the living room. Upstairs it was quite warm. Also, another house rule is "Turn OFF A/C when leaving the ViIlla. Villas cool off quickly upon return. " We didn't find this to be the case at all. The A/C seemed just adequate to keep the units cool. The first day we went out we turned the A/C off on our way out. When we got back it was 83 F in the house. It took over 4 hours to get back down to 76 F. After that we set it to 78 F when we went out and back down when we got back. Just something to be aware of. The hide-a-bed in the couch is particularly uncomfortable. I've slept on many and this one was near the bottom of the list comfort-wise. The kids took turns sleeping on it and I think it was slightly better for them because they weigh less. But if you're planning to sleep an adult on it for any length of time I would suggest bringing an air mattress or something. Not a complaint really, just something to be aware of. The washer/dryer combo is a stacked unit with fairly small capacity. It was probably the oldest thing in the unit and looks it. It washed alright but the dryer left a lot to be desired. You can probably do two or three outfits at a time and plan on hanging them to dry when the dryer is done.
