We had an amazing little get away. Just a one night break from the kids, we enjoyed ourselves so much and our room was so beautiful!

What a wonderful little gem, tucked in a cozy spot across the street from the beach. Desk had shark tooth sifting tools, beach umbrellas, beach chairs, and beach towels for us to borrow at no charge. Water and snacks were available all day in the lobby and the breakfast was topped off with goodies from a local bakery. We will be back!

Clean, friendly staff, overall nice hotel!

We love coming here every year! Beautiful rooms. Great location. Breakfast is awesome. The House keepers are now like Family! Everyone is so friendly. The Beach is right out your door. Venice is beautiful. I highly recommend this place if you want a nice peaceful get a way. Great restaurants are close too. It’s not a party atmosphere which makes it a perfect place to rest and relax!

What a wonderful discovery! Delightful staff, impeccably clean rooms and common areas, perfect location across from the beach, beautiful rooms, lovely landscaping! 10/10! We'll be back soon!

It was so nice and right by the water!

We spent a couple days here for our anniversary and it was perfect. From the man at the desk who let us check in early to all of the friendly people, to the beautiful beach right across the street to the yummy free continental breakfast. I cannot say enough nice things about this place. Our stay was incredible. Five stars.

We loved our first stay and can’t wait to come back. Booking our next trip soon. Staff was amazing, room was perfect for us and we loved the pool.

The continental breakfast was by far the best we have had. Simple, but the fresh baked goods were AMAZING! They even had snacks you could get at anytime which was awesome for my two little ones! The room was also awesome, staff was amazing, and was close to the beach and downtown! Will be staying again!

Perfect location — right across from Venice Beach, and a lovely walk from the shops & restaurants. The room was great — spacious, with a kitchenette; clean; comfortable. The people — management, staff, other guests, everyone — genuinely nice. Helpful and always smiling. Great pool & hot tub (since red tide rendered the beach unusable this was wonderfully relaxing). Family friendly. Great continental breakfast. I could go on :) Multiple people have recommended Inn at the Beach & I wholeheartedly agree… 5 stars.

My husband and I had the absolute best time celebrating our 10th Anniversary here! Our room was immaculate. I've stayed at much more expensive hotels and resorts, but the cleanliness and care provided by the staff was beyond what anywhere else that we have been. The breakfast in the morning was simple & delicious. It was a quiet & relaxing place to enjoy each other. We drove to Siesta Key to enjoy the beach there during the day and did lots of sharks tooth hunting in the evenings and mornings — I will definitely be back! A huge thank you to the entire staff of the Inn at the Beach! Also, random — but the pillows on the bed were amazing! I wanted one for my bed at home!

Absolutely a great location. It's right across from the beach. They clean the room and make beds up every day. Nice outside pool. You will find no cleaner place to stay. Staff very friendly.

A wonderful place to stay on Venice island FL. Just steps from the beach and walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. Rooms are clean and bed was very comfortable. Staff are friendly and efficient. Recommend highly!

The rooms were super clean, parking was so helpful and love we can just walk a few feet to the beach! We will be back again and again :) We really didn't want to leave :)

The Inn at the Beach is a perfect vacation spot-clean, friendly, pampering and quiet. The beds are like sleeping in HEAVEN, we loved the pillows. My sister visits each year and we always come back to the Inn at the Beach. It is close to downtown shopping AND right across from the Gulf.

Stayed here with 3 teenagers and a toddler. We were driving through the area and decided we wanted to stay in the area for a night or two. We found they had an opening here and arrived fairly late the first night. What a wonderful find it was. Nice clean pool that our teens loved swimming in. The rooms were very clean and tidy. From our room to the beach was about a 30 second walk! Or next visit will probably be without the kids as this seemed like it would be a great place for a romantic getaway. It's not a far drive from shopping area and more restaurants than I can remember. Walking along the sidewalk of this charming town was a fun relaxing experience.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Very friendly and accomodating staff. It is a lovely location close to the beach and Historic Downtown restaurants and shops.

Location, location, location. Very well-kept facilities, friendly staff and the proximity to the beach make this a perfect vacation getaway. Our king room was quaintly small — and walls were a little thin, but with the pool deck open until 10pm, we spent scarce little time in there. Everything is immaculately clean, there's free water and snacks all day, and the continental breakfast is more than adequate (coffee is really good)! Highly recommended!

We stayed at Inn at the Beach and had a fantastic stay! The hotel is only steps away from Venice beach and situated in a classy neighborhood where we enjoyed our morning walks. The staff is really friendly and breakfast was enjoyable. The rooms were very functional with lots of storage space and a fantastic kitchen (with a fridge) and all of the amenities and cleanliness you would need to enjoy your stay. I would definitely stay here again in the future. Also, a side note, there is free yoga at the beach every day at 8AM, 9AM, and 5PM. Enjoy!

Great hotel — our room was very clean, the front desk staff was very helpful. You don't have to worry about driving to the beach and finding parking since it is less than a block away. You can also walk to downtown — the area is very safe and family friendly. Look forward to coming back and staying longer!

One of the best Inns I've been to. Not state of the art, but super clean, and easy access (small walk) to a beautiful beach. The parking near the rooms on the inner portion of the hotel is cramped, but not something I'm taking a star away over. A couple and I stayed the night in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom room, and could have easily stayed there for a week. Full Kitchen. A patio. We were living it up. Unfortunately it was just a one night stay. The breakfast they served in the morning was coffee, bagels, and donuts. The donuts tasted like heaven and are procured from a local donut shop (the name escapes me). Thank you for the hospitality.

The Inn is amazing. We enjoyed the one-bedroom suite so much, from the incredible breakfast, wonderful hospitality, clean, spacious living, to the close proximity to the beach. Our only regret is that our time at the Inn had to end. We will definitely come again. We love Inn at the Beach!

So close to a great beach; clean rooms with amenities more like an Airb&b than a motel; excellent continental breakfast choices and great front office staff. All this and very reasonable rates. We were very pleased and quite impressed.

Really nice place. 1 min from beach. Check-in was great. Great location. Outside entrance to rooms. Outside sitting for each room. Smoking allowed outside. Open your door and your outside. Haven't checked out yet but this place is perfect so far. Quiet neighborhood. Saturday night 11:40pm. A few people walking to the beach but respectful not loud. Feels like a safe neighborhood.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the inn. The attention to detail was amazing. We have already told many of our friends to go there. We will definitely be back.

I very much enjoyed my stay at Inn at the Beach. The purpose of my trip to Florida was to visit my niece and her husband and their two toddlers. I wanted to be at the beach so we could all enjoy some beach time together. A relative graciously offered to travel with me. All of us love the sand and water and wind. The reservation process was easy, the staff was always pleasant, professional and helpful, and the accommodations were great. The location was perfect. My niece met us at the beach each morning with the children for play time and then we went to their home for the rest of each day. We had a great time. Our room at the Inn was attractive, clean and comfortable, and obviously a safe place to be. Breakfast was great with a variety of choices, and there were drinks, fruit and snacks available all the time. Parking was convenient. The Inn provided towels and chairs for our beach trips. We didn't use the nicely heated pool or hot tub due to my desire to have maximum play time with the children at the beach and at their home with their toys. We did walk around and look at the facilities, all of which were quite nice. I slept well in the comfortable bed. I heard nothing all night, which is the way I like it. I appreciated the fact that the room could be made very dark with the shutters closed or very light with them open. It was good to have the refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and TV, although we used only the refrigerator during this trip.

What a delightful place. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean and the best part … across the street from the beach. I would definitely stay there again!

This is the best place to stay, if you want to be close to the center of Venice beach. The beach is about 300 feet away from the Inn. It is on the Venice avenue, which is the heart of the town. They lent us beach chairs, an umbrella and shell sifter. This is very helpful when you fly down. Rooms are nice and clean.

Perfect location. We had a bright room on 2nd floor. Small but well designed bathroom. Well appointed guest room. Couldn’t have been more pleased. Continental breakfast a bit basic but fine. The best place to stay in Venice.

Lovely hotel right by the beach. Easy walk to downtown Venice. Rooms very bright and cheery with extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast included in price for room (bagels, muffins, pastries, cereal, oatmeal, juices, fruit etc, ). Staff friendly and helpful. Will be back.

We had a two night stay at this splendid little hotel in a great location! The room was lovely and clean, very comfy beds and very pleasant staff. The room also included a grab and go breakfast which is all you need with unlimited coffee and tea all day long! Will definitely be back for another stay! Thank you all.

Our family has stayed at the Inn at the Beach several times over the last few years while visiting family in Venice. The Inn is a first class boutique hotel located right at the beach and a short walk from charming downtown Venice. Our most recent stay did not disappoint! The service was outstanding, our rooms were spotless and the staff helped us with every special request. The vibe is casual, relaxing and laid back. Perfect for the beach!

We stayed for two nights, we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was kept up and very clean. It was a short walk to the beach which was beautiful. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great place to stay. The property is very clean and close to the beach. The staff was very helpful and great to interact with. Everything you need is there, chairs, beach towels, drinking water and snacks all day. We will definitely return.

We really loved our stay! Perfect location next to the beach and in town. The room was clean and easy to access with parking. The bed was very comfortable along with the pillows. They also had a filling station to refill your (complimentary) water bottles that we really appreciated. Pool and hot tub were well maintained and lots of towels were provided. Continental breakfast was mostly fruit, bread and cereal so healthier options would be nice however there are many restaurants near by. Would definitely recommend!

We have been visiting Inn At The Beach for a few years now and I love this place. Unfortunately, I don't see spending 175.00 to 200.00 a night when I can stay at the Hilton for half the price. I just cancelled my reservation due to the price. I was shocked to see a 15.00 resort fee on my email. We then booked a room at the Hilton where you can earn points and use the points for your next stay. Inn At The Beach offers no loyalty discounts : (

Very cute and very clean! The staff is sweet and I love that you can borrow beach chairs and sifters from the front desk. It's right on the beach and just down the road from Caspersen if you're looking for shark teeth.

This is a nice Inn with the perfect location. The rooms are nice and always spotless. The staff is wonderful everyone is friendly like you have known them forever. They even give you beach towels and chairs to use and pails and tools to look for sharks teeth for the kids. This was our first visit and we will be back soon. Our new favorite place.

We checked in yesterday for just one night. We were graciously upgraded to a suite. We were celebrating my retirement so it was just a nice added bonus. The room was great, right across from the beach. Service and hospitality were wonderful. We loved Sharkey's on the pier. Also the Classic Cars Store. Would definitely go back again and highly recommend it.

Can't wait to go back. What a great place. We were only there one night this time, but next trip will definitely be more. So relaxing and so close to the beach. After playing in the surf and searching for shark teeth their wonderful pool is the perfect way to relax. The staff is kind and friendly and the room was very comfortable and clean. First time to Venice and The Inn made it a return visit must.

This was such a pleasant experience staying at Inn at the Beach. The location is so convenient to the beach & town shops & restaurants. The facility is spotlessly clean, comfortable & nicely appointed with daily needs. Beach towels, chairs & a continental breakfast are provided & the staff goes out of their way to be of assistance in any way. We will definitely come back & will certainly recommend to our family & friends.

Nice location rooms pool and hot tub all clean. The coffee in the lobby is pretty good. Had HBO and all the movie channels.

Inn at The Beach was great! First and most importantly (to me) the room was super clean. No dust, dirt, stains, had clean lennons and bathroom. Easily fit our family of 5 with plenty of space. I enjoyed the privacy of the suite and the large bathroom is spectacular. Is within Walking distance to the beach. Could not have been happier with our stay.

Everything was great with my stay. The front desk attendant at check in was efficient and knowledgeable. My request for extra pillows was fulfilled promptly by the same front desk attendant. Having such close access to Venice Beach was the topping on the cake.

The Hotel is a dream. The owners are very nice. Breakfast you get in the Lobby, and then it's off to the balcony with sea view.

Inn at the Beach is one of the finest hotels in the country… They have set the bar high for their competitors… Their hotel is immaculate, the staff can't do enough for you… If you ask for "a hand", they extend their arm… Every year I choose to go to Venice, mainly for the "down home feeling" I receive… they are first class and you sell yourself short if you don't stay at Inn at the Beach… Thanks staff for another incredible vacation! Everything was wonderful, the room, the friendly staff, the breakfast, the proximity to the beach and fun downtown area. We had a great 25th Anniversary stay and will return again at the first chance! Thank you!

The standard king room was small but well appointed. Quick walk to the public beach which was hard packed sand. You will need to walk down a little to softer mroe enjoyable sand. Easy walk to downtown area and the public tennis courts. Bring your racket.

We have stayed here a number of times over the past few years. It is our destination for a mini get away. I can not say enough great things about The Inn… the staff is fantastic; always friendly and helpful. Thank you Dee for giving us the room we wanted! Very clean and the breakfast and snacks during the day is something more places should do. It is an added extra touch. We will be back.

Been returning to the Inn at the Beach for over 25 years! Always pleasant, gone increasingly upscale (& $$$$), but remains laid-back & the ONLY hotel on the beach in Venice. Some units have kitchens, views &/or porches/balconies with seating for watching spectacular sunsets. Is across street to beach. Has pool, hot tub in courtyard area. Very nice people, Wi-Fi, a great place to just be and hang out.

I feel like I am at home when it is the cleanest, the most restful and peaceful and where I can laugh or cry at leisure-with NO RESPONSIBILITIES! I will come back.

My only two comments were that with such nice sheets, they have the cheap vinyl comforter / top sheet like you would find in a motel 6. Also, the lobby coffee was really bad. The rest of it was great. Nice clean rooms, nice views, nice pool, nice staff.

This is the best location in Venice! Right across the street from beautiful Venice Beach. The staff is super friendly and helpful. It has a fun, relaxed beach feel to it. An older "motel" that has been remodeled and updated. I'll be back!

Very warm welcome. Super-friendly and efficient staff who loaned us a beach chair and a scoop for shark teeth hunting. Excellent breakfast. Good coffee and filtered water available all day long. Right across from Venice Beach and close to Old Venice with its shops and restaurants. Highly recommended,

Even though the weather was stormy and we didn't get to go on the beach, we enjoyed our stay and would like to return. The staff was so pleasant and tried and succeeded to honor my request for a room facing the gulf. We were able to view the waves and experience the storms at the beach from our comfortable room. It was relaxing and fun.

My Fiancé and I just stayed three nights here, and it exceeded our expectations! The staff was extremely kind, and helpful! The room we stayed in was very neat, and very clean! The property was very well maintained, from the office to the pool and hot tub. The location was perfect being right across from the beach, and just a very short drive from some great restaurants and shops. We took a chance on The Inn and we both agreed that we will make the trip to stay with them again! Awesome Experience!

We stayed for 2 weeks in Feb. 2014. It was so relaxing and wonderful with the beach right across the street. We have stayed here before and the rooms are so very clean and well maintained. The staff is outstanding. I don't know what more you could ask for when you are on a trip. We Highly recommend the Inn at the Beach.

Have stayed there on a couple of times and really enjoy our stay at Inn At The Beach. The people there are really friendly and helpful. My wife and I are considering on staying there again this year, as we do love the service that we do get and it is conveniently across the street from Venice Beach at the end of July, and the water temperature of the Gulf of Mexico is in the low 80's. Can't really beat that for enjoyment, as well as having some shops just down West Venice Avenue. If any one is considering on going to Venice, this would be the place to go! Absolutely fantastic! Paradise has nothing on Inn At The Beach, that is how good they are.

We had a wonderful seven days. Cannot take exception to any aspect of our visit. If Venice is on our agenda for next year it will be at The Inn.

To Inn at the Beach, We enjoyed our stay at Inn at the Beach very much. The accommodations were very comfortable, especially the 2 stressless chairs in the sitting area to watch TV at night, I have the same chairs (from Norway) in my home. The location across from the beach and pavillion was great, as we could just cross the road to walk the beach, or listen to the impromptu band concert in the early evenings. Also, pleasant to walk up Venice Ave. Under the large old trees dripping with Spanish moss. I would definitely book again at the Inn. Do you have a suite, similar to 205, on the ground floor? Inn AT the Beach. Yes, you can't get any closer to Venice Beach. (FL) The staff and facilities were terrific. We loved our stay. Made new friends from the US, and Europe during our stay. Walked to the beach for yoga on the beach, to the pavilion for live entertainment or just sunning and looking for shark's teeth. What a great place to stay. Walkable to downtown Venice and its restaurants and shops. Many repeat visitors. Now we know why.

My husband and I have stayed here twice, and have totally loved it! the staff is friendly and polite. It is near great restaurants and right across from the beach, with some of the rooms having beautiful views of the oceans, sunsets and sunrises. The rooms are spacious, and cozy and great to be in. We can't wait to go back! Inn at the Beach is the perfect place for a little get away, or honeymoon romance.
