Very nice place! Very clean and affordable! Pool heated! And laundry free if u need to wash stuff b4 u go or while u there to stay!

Everything was perfect. Friendly and welcoming staff, excellent location, clean room. Prime location; walking distance to beach, restaurants and shops. Would defiantly recommend to others.

Our family and friends head down to AMI every year for vacation and this is our go-to place to stay! The staff at Sunrise is top notch and they are very helpful while you are staying with them. Rooms are very clean. I highly recommend staying at Sunrise and their location on the island is perfect!

This was our first time on AMI and it’s my new happy place ♥️ We stayed for 4 nights and wish we’d stayed longer! Beautiful cottage in lovely quiet surroundings, I can’t wait to come back. 5 ⭐️

Have been staying here since 2003, before it was SGR. We love it! Had character, accommodations are amazing and cleanliness superb! The garden used to be more lush though. The gardens were able to transport you to a tropical paradise! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Have always wanted to stay at Anna Maria island. This year my family surprised me with a family vacation for my 50th. They could not have picked a better resort. Love this place! Definitely coming back! Conveniently located within walking distance of shopping and restaurants! Despite the "red tide" situation my sister and I still had a great time!

We won’t be back. We picked this place at the last minute. Reviews were good. We arrived late, got a first floor room and the room above us sounded like kids playing tackle football and since the office closes at 5 or 6pm, you get to deal with those issues yourself. Parking is extremely limited without any overflow parking anywhere. You may end up parking in the grass along the street. The window and door shades are perfect for voyeurs to peek through the gaps in coverage in every room except the bathroom. We actually stuffed paper towel in one of the untreated door windows in the bedroom. All for the great low price of $200/night. Other than that — staff was pleasant, room was clean and your close to many points of interest on the Island.

Outstanding boutique accommodation. Private, quaint hideaway. Old Florida feeling in a residential neighborhood. Mary at the office was friendly, personable and efficient. Made great suggestions for our evening meal, which we gratefully followed. Many choices within walking distance. The apartment was impeccably clean. Complimentary toiletries were good quality. Also, walking distance to Gulf or Bay.

This was the 2nd time my husband and I had stayed at Sunrise Gardens. Both times have been a great experience. The accommodations are spacious, private and very clean.

The Sunrise Garden Resort is clean, friendly and well set out, offering a pool and parking. The cost of the self catering apartments, are good value, for this great location. What is a bonus, is that, the Island offers a free bus service, between 06.00 & 22.30 which can take you to the livelier, far end of the Island at 20 minute intervals at any of the stops. All in all, a great place to stay.

Our poolside unit was lovely. It was a great size, clean, quiet & had everything you needed for the perfect stay. The outside patio area with table & chairs was a definite bonus. Lush vegetation outside the unit & around the grounds attracts many birds & squirrels which are fun to watch. The pool area was really nice, too. It's a help yourself service on the housekeeping, the stores are open all day if you need anything. There are free laundry facilities on site, too. The owners are very friendly & helpful and there is an adorable resort cat. A great place to stay.

The Sunrise Garden Resort is our favorite place to stay on Anna Maria Island. Great location, spacious guest rooms with kitchens, a lovely relaxing pool area and a wonderful staff! It’s our home away from home!

Awesome resort, with super friendly staff. The rooms are amazing and super comfortable. The pool is exquisite, and has two propane grills near by. Plus, if you aren't up for cooking there are numerous locations within walking distance. And who can forget the beach that's within walking distance.

Great place to stay. The staff are great and very accommodating & responsive. I've stayed here several times and have always had a great experience.

It was a very nice little place to spend a summer weekend for my family and me. I really enjoyed the comfort of the bungalow we spent the night on. It feels like you have your little apartment away from home for a few days. Having a nice swimming pool and the beach just a few steps away practically gives you the best of both worlds for a few summer days. Strongly recommendable!

The rooms are beautiful and kept very clean. Great location within walking distance of The Waterfront and the beach, I highly recommend this place to anyone.

Been here on several occasions. Rooms are clean. Staff is friendly. Grounds kept neatly. Parking can be a little tight. Nice for families or couples alone.

Hubby and I are still here, right now just relaxing at the pool after going to St Armand's Circle in Sarasota for lunch at our favorite place, the Columbia Restaurant! The weather here is nice and breezy today, but tomorrow should bring some rain, fortunately not until evening, so we are looking forward to another day in Paradise tomorrow. For anyone reading this review, we live in Florida, about 75 miles north of Anna Maria Island and we have been coming here twice a year for five years and look forward to our nice, clean, comfortable and relaxing get-away every time! Before we found Sunrise Garden Resort, after watching it on HGTV, we had stayed elsewhere on Anna Maria, but now… this is the ONLY place we want to stay! Enjoy!

One of the best resorts hands down. My man and I stood here for our 3 day birthday getaway and loved everything about it. Nice, clean, and friendly staff :) Highly recommend.

We stayed here for 6 nights in May of 2016 and everything was great. The rooms were clean and well furnished, and the beach was just steps away from our door. Our condo also had a private garage with beach chairs and toys. The grounds are beautiful and pool was amazing.

My husband and I stayed here for the first time back in 2012 on our honeymoon. We loved it and were very pleased with the room and the overall atmosphere was beautiful, seemed very private and peaceful. We returned for our anniversary and had the same pleasant experience. We plan to return again. I will always recommend this place! Love it there.

We took an unplanned weekend trip (sunday-tuesday) to anna marie island. Getting to the island late sunday, we were having a hard time finding any where to stay, one place even told us they couldnt book us in for the night because they were about to close! after about 20 phone calls, we got ericka on the phone from sunrise gardens, she got us a room. We were pleasently surprised at how nice the rooms were! 2 blocks from the beach, and comfy beds! while we wanted to be right on the beach, we will be staying again tonight because they earned our business! thanks ericka!

Very nice resort. The rooms are spacious and clean. The girls at the front office were very nice and gave me tips about nearby attractions. They allow pets which is great. The resort is a block away from a decent beach but there are multiple beaches within 5-10 minute drive of the hotel. I liked it.

We stayed for a week and will definitely recommend this place. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our air conditioner was not working when we first got there. One phone call to the manager and she was there within 5mnutes, had a repair guy there, fixed with in an hour. The only issue we had were the barkng dogs who were staying in the room next to us otherwise very peaceful and relaxing!

This was the perfect place to stay on AMI. Just a short walk to the Beach and multiple restaurants/ bars. I would come back again.

I stayed Memorial weekend with my husband and 3 kids (6, 5 and 2 years old) in room and we loved it, the pool was like a hidden oasis. The hotel is close to the pier and the beach, the room was clean and nice, furniture looks new and kitchen well equipped, it had the right size for us one king bed and a sofa bed; the price was right. We definitely will book with them again. I don't have any complaint with the place we enjoyed our stay there, very relaxing.

We've stayed here previously and decided to return since it is a block away from our in-laws house. We booked a room on the website. They called us to tell us that the price advertised was a "software glitch" and gave us the option of paying their price or cancelling. Since it was clearly their mistake I offered to compromise which they refused. We will not return.

Stayed here this past week (June 9th) and was quite pleased. We were at the beach at the time we made the reservation as it was after hours. Was able to get a room at a very reasonable rate. The lady making the reservation (I can't recall her name) was very, very pleasant. The room was a suite: bedroom, living room, kitchen, and bath. It also had a back porch area, a front porch with breakfast nook table and we were right next to the pool. The room was incredibly clean and located right near the pool (room #6) Location of resort is quite superb: walking distance from beaches, a main drag of Anna Maria Island restaurants and shops including the Waterfront Restaurant. Staff was super friendly. Anyone journeying to Anna Maria Island should most certainly stay here.

Just returned from the Sunrise Garden Resort. Place has beautiful landscaping, beautiful heated pool, separate grilling area, very accommodating room set ups located within walking distance of restaurants, shops, beaches, fishing areas. You can just park your car and forget about it. Spence the owner makes you feel right at home. We are already planning our next visit.

For starters, the loction is perfect, walking distance to the water and shops all in a beautiful area. On the inside, you'll receive a clean, comfortable space with all the amenities, and a relaxing pool area. Warm, friendly service from an owner that understands how to run a resort. I'll be back for sure.

Where do I begin? Stayed in Unit 8 (2 Bedroom/1 Bath) with husband and other couple to attend a wedding at Sandbar. Super clean, spacious, great A/C, clean pool and outdoor areas, awesome lounge chairs, and cool hidden alcoves to chill in. Spencer is awesome! He runs the place and is very accommodating, even let us park the groom's Harley on our patio until it was time for the groomsmen to bring it to him. Shauna, the groundskeeper, was sooo awesome to us! We love her too, answered all our questions, gave us all the towels and amenities we needed, and went doubly out of her way to make us happy. They even let us check out later because our flight was in the late afternoon. Will def be heading back to Anna Maria and staying at Sunrise Gardens again. A+++++ Phenomenal Accommodations! Thank you.
