The Sweet Magnolia Inn Hotel

We stayed at Sweet Magnolia this weekend for our anniversary and were super impressed with the cleanliness and beauty of this place. It felt like walking into the home of a loving family, which it basically was! You can really tell how much Love was poured out into every thoughtful detail from the rooms themselves down to the tiniest of details. John and Melissa are very gracious and hospitable. Breakfast was also very delicious and decadent! We will definitely be back and tell our friends!

Such a peaceful little weekend away. Melissa and John were absolutely wonderful hosts and very accommodating. The room was beautiful and it was so nice to have the bikes available and restaurants with in walking/biking distance. Everything was perfect!

The owners, Melissa and John, are very friendly and make you fell at home. The breakfast was amazing too. We hope to return again for a longer stay. I highly recommend Sweet Magnolia Inn!

We stopped in on a whim after traveling through different parts of Florida for a birthday and vacation.
Melissa was very accommodating, gave recommendations and made our stay very delightful after a long day!
The Inn is very clean and beautifully kept; rooms are very nicely designed with an AWESOME jetted tub for 2! ; bed was comfortable and the place is quiet by 10pm so that everyone can rest.
The Inn comes with bikes to use on the trails and just walking distance to a couple of great restaurants and a short drive to Wakulla Springs.
We will definitely stay here again as it was a wonderful experience!

Valentines weekend with friends at Sweet Magnolia Inn St. Marks, Fl. Melissa and John are awesome host. Breakfast was awesome, very clean and massage chair was very popular. St Marks National Wildlife Park has wonderful wildlife sightings; just wish I had my camera with me that would have zoomed in so I could have taken more pictures. We saw two Eagles. This is a place to come back to just hope next time no rain so we could have explored the garden behind the Inn. So I highly recommend Sweet Magnolia Inn for a peaceful get away.

We received a gift of a stay at Sweet Magnolia Inn — for Christmas. Our FIRST Christmas together although we have known each other for over a decade. Very nice place and I definitely recommend. Thanks to the owners who are not only new to St Marks but also new to Florida. We are lucky to have them here from Ohio taking care of travelers and residents of Wakulla County. Highly recommended for honey mooning, date nighting or a home away from home. With different themed rooms to choose from and breakfast provided in the morning. Riverside is a local restaurant to check out. Happy Holidays Hines family!

Absolutely fantastic barbecue and breakfast buffet. For a peaceful getaway and a wonderful weekend we highly recommend this bed and breakfast place. The owners are very friendly and very hospitable. You need to try it out, it's wonderful.

Free bikes, spacious rooms, great breakfast, hammocks, close to the trail… and really nice owners!

A wonderful B&B, our room was well equipped and ready at check-in time. The food was great and the fellowship with the other guests was fun. While we didn't get to meet the owners last weekend, the staff did a great job. Our stay was too short. We'll be back again. Thanks for a great two days!

Best food service and atmosphere! I’ve paid $40 to $50 a plate for five star food in fancy places in many big cities, but what I got for less than half that price was so much better! The accommodations are top notch, felt like a king staying here!

The Sweet Magnolia is perfect. We had a great weekend in St Marks. The room was beautiful, breakfast was great, the inn is very comfortable, the hosts could not be more gracious. There are a couple of decent restaurants within an easy walk. Many an easy drive. We were in St Marks to bicycle. The trails are excellent. I highly recommend!

The charm and ambience is simply magical. I am a big fan of Bed and Breakfast Inns, however your place is NOW number one in our book. The home-like experience gave myself and family a comfortable, relaxing and special feeling. I was especially appreciative of being able to share our morning meal as a family. Speaking of which, the breakfast food was mouth-watering… with enough choices to satisfy everyone. Thank you for making our family feel like your family. We love making memories and The Sweet Magnolia Inn will certainly be a cherished time for all of us. Finally, we will share our experience with others and highly recommend taking a peaceful escape to The Beautiful Magnolia Inn.

Tim and I just spent our 43rd anniversary at the Sweet Magnolia Inn in St. Marks, Florida. It was as wonderful as always. Andy and Denise are such good people and great cooks too. We highly recommend it as a place to use as your base for birdwatching in the St. Mark's Wildlife Refuge as well as Wakulla Springs.

Andy and Denise made us feel welcome and at home April 13-18, 2018. Our suite was perfect on the second floor. They serve a delicious breakfast every morning. It was great to just walk down the stairs and breakfast was waiting for us every morning. Our suite had both a hot tub and a shower. If you are ever in Wakulla County Florida, we recommend the Sweet Magnolia Inn in St. Marks. The Sweet Magnolia Inn exceeded our expectations!

We were a little turned off by the imidiate neighbors of the inn when we first got there because of the dogs and profanities. Our Hostess greeted us with a smile, cheese plate and wine. The room was cute with a large tub and firm bed. We were pleased with how close the Riverside Cafe was to the Inn but when we came back to the inn… we went to unlock our door and realized the door never shut all he way… you have to slam the door to get it to latch. That was a little upsetting. Overall though, the Hosts were very accommodating to leave early the next morning and making sure we ate!

We have been coming here for the past year plus and finally stayed a Sunday afternoon and had a great lunch and listened to the band. Awesome food and great drinks. A few weeks ago we also enjoyed a Friday evening happy hour with great music and drinks. The owners are really accommodating and great people!
