Checked in late (11:30pm). My fault, long travel day. Stood at the desk watching the employee shuffle papers and making a point not to look up for several minutes (he made sure to shuffle and straighten each stack of what looked like folios at least twice). I was never actually greeted. Told the guy my last name and verbally confirmed the card on file and he gave me the keys. He never looked up, never said thank you. I asked if I could get bottled water since I'm a Diamond member (I stay in Hampton Inns a lot) and he told me to get them from the shop. Nothing horrible here, just really bad customer service. If you frequently travel for business, avoid this place.

Nice hotel. Staff at desk is hit or miss being friendly. There is one person Ashley, who is always nice and has a smile when you pass by.

They messed up my Hilton honors number and gave my points to someone else and when I confronted them they said they did nothing wrong and I need to take with Hilton honors customer service. Which why was it my problem when they screwed up. I got it fixed no help from them. Make sure you check your receipt and made sure they repeat the number back to you. One more thing check points given to you they might not be right.

This is a great location. If you want a new feeling building that is clean, quiet, and close to tons of restaurants and stores. About 10 minutes from the beach.

My friend said the Hampton Inn said it wasn't too bad didn't have any problems rooms were clean the bathrooms clean staff was friendly and great is really close to my house in the beaches.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff! The room was clean and spacious. The breakfasts consisted of Belgian waffles, assorted cereals, eggs (which seemed to be either liquid or powdered eggs), hard boiled eggs, sausage, fruits, yogurt, assorted juices, milk, coffee, and assorted breads (such as bagels, pastries and toast). Location allowed for relatively easy access to the beaches in about 10 to 15 minutes, depending on traffic. There is a beautiful park across the road which was great for walking.

The check was quick and easy. Staff is Outstanding! Awesome to have a king size bed like home, but could have been more comfortable. Very disappointing that there is no safe in the room. Breakfast was delicious. Oh, huge shower and nice bathroom. All and all good stay. We recommend it.

I liked this Hampton. Any more, it’s hit or miss with a Hampton Inn. You never know if it will be a clean one or not. This one was updated, clean and in a great location. About 6.5 miles from the Clearwater Beach. Its also about a 30/45 minute drive from Tampa airport. Room was nice. Bathroom was a great size, with a lot of counter space. Room on the park side was a bit noisy from the cars, so if you’re a light sleeper you may want to request a room with a view of the high school instead. The breakfast was OK. Normal Hampton Breakfast. They did have some type of hot egg/meat available, which is always nice. I would stay here again.

Nice hotel and location, but housekeeping services were very disappointing. We had booked a suite for 6 occupants for a four night stay. I had to make the beds myself, while all garbage bins were overflowing. I had my children go to the front desk to request such items as toilet paper, kleenex etc. Dirty towels were also not removed during our visit. We have never experience that before when staying in a Hampton Inn in the past.

Very clean rooms, good service, pool area well maintained. Handicap friendly pool and gym. Internet connection is good. The beds were very comfortable.

I have stayed at quite a few Hamptons, this one has been very comfortable as always. Hot breakfast was unusually good, Reese's pieces, chocolate minichips and whipped cream for the waffle machine was a nice surprise. Very happy with my stay here.

Newly renovated and very nice rooms. Staff was friendly and helpful. Large park across from the hotel was good for a walk and near by restaurants in shop offered lots of food and stuff.

My friends say I'm a clean freak. I also have a BS in Business Administrational with a major in marketing. Therefore, what I'm expecting and hoping for when I pay for a place to stay is focused in these areas. I stayed here 5 days, in a regular room. The hotel was moderately busy during my stay as it is the beginning of the year and I'm sure they get much busier when tourists come to spend time at the Gulf Coast beach just minutes away. On cleanliness, my room was perfectly clean. From top to bottom, I didn't notice any dust or dirt anywhere. The rest of the hotel was just as clean. I was in and out of every outer doorway multiple times a day as I stayed at this hotel most of the day and had my dog with me. The doorway glass was always clean. Floors were always clean, which is no small task with constant foot and pet traffic! The breakfast buffet and 24 hour coffee station by the elevators, both were very well maintained. Although it was unseasonably cold, the outside trash receptacles, walkways and parking lot were also well maintained. I can't help but apply my marketing eye when considering the other things that may make a hotel memorable. First, this is designed to be a basic hotel~ not a luxury or themed hotel. That being said, the powers that be managed to give basic components and amenities specific details that might not seem significant on their own, but the combined effect is comforting with a quirky twist sprinkled in top.

Very pleased with this location. From the get go the staff were upbeat and extraordinarily friendly and helpful. They even went out of their way to get me checked in 2 hours early. Cleaning ladies very friendly too. As for the room, very clean and spacious. Bathroom was spotless as well. Really this was the perfect room. Heat and a. C. Worked great. Great place.

The stay at Hampton suites was a very good experience. I chose this place because they accept dogs. I will definitely come again here. Price was not too bad either!

Price was good, room was clean and spacious. Staff was very friendly and helpful in finding attractions nearby. The park across the street is a nice walk in the evening as well. Breakfast is pretty standard but kinda picked clean by 9:30-10ish.

I attended a party at this location. The front desk staff was very helpful and polite. The hotel was neat and clean.

I stayed on the 5th floor. The room was very clean and comfortable, and pretty. The bed was awesome. Wifi was easy. The staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of room to store stuff and plenty of plugs.

Everything was wonderful! We made a last minute decision to stay in the area overnight and everyone was booked since it was spring break. The receptionist said they had one room left but that it was a suite. Our options were limited so we took it and couldn't have asked for a better stay. The lady at the front desk was very nice. The room was immaculate. We were told at check-in that breakfast was available in the morning. We went down the following morning and enjoyed a very nice breakfast, considering some that we have had at other hotels that we have stayed in. It is also right across the bridge from the beaches. A great place to stay and be close but not right in the middle of all the beach traffic.

Good service at desk. Room was clean and tidy. Bed and pillows were nice and comfy. Noise from the hallway carried into the room.

Everyone seems nice but the cleaning crew do a half ass job cleaning the rooms.

I'm still here. Not too bad but the cleaning staff forgot to clean up an old guests wash cloth and it fell on me. Ewwwwww.

I was a nice hotel. The pool was warm close to all the beaches. The Wi-Fi will rack up your bill if your log on to the attWi-Fi and not the hamtWi-Fi. So be careful.

Clean. Very outdated. The plumbing was terrible. Bathroom sink couldn't get any cold water and the shower head was clogged.

Black mildew on shower caulk, peeling wallpaper in bathroom, ice machine room unventilated (felt like a sauna). Otherwise, room nice, staff courteous and prompt. Good location of property on Bay St. Just didn't quite meet my expectations of Hampton Inn brand. (I stay in Hilton brand hotels exclusively for business travel so am very familiar with the brand)

Nice sized room. The lobby is very pretty. But the walls seem thin and like you can hear the people in the next room and in the hallways quite loudly.

Appreciate the breakfast, but more important it is a pet friendly.

It was a nice room sizeable enough to fit the roll out crib with room to spare when everyone was running around in the mornings. We had an issue with the a/c constantly running so they offered to change our room however another staff member was able to fix the thermostat. Their whole team took care of us and breakfast was great.

Rooms are always clean, staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Considering it was the busy season, it is remarkable that the rooms were clean and everything was functional.

Great stay from the minute I walked in. Staff got me in a room early, and called to ask if my room was ok or was there anything else she could do for me. That was very nice. Very clean room. Very nice place to stay.

Stayed there 10 times while visiting family in Florida over the years. Always a good stay, with a very good breakfast selection, wide assortment of newspapers, coffee to go, Breakfast to go, etc. I would not stay anywhere else in the area.

The hotel itself is nice but it is close to a very busy intersection. Get ready for loud exhausts, music, and sirens all night long. I could even here the road with the air conditioning fan on. Otherwise, the facility is relatively new and clean. The fitness center is pretty large also.

What a delight! I wonder if every Hampton Inn and Suites is like this one? Hotel was sparkling clean. Staff was courteous and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised to see rooms not only had coffee pots, but also have small microwaves and mini fridges, along with many other "extras" you just don't find anymore. Loved having cold water in my fridge, coffee in the morning, a makeup removal pad to wash my face with at night, etc. I could go on and on. I will DEFINATELY seek out Hampton Inns and Suites in the future. Highly recommend.

Hotel is fairly new, which is a plus, and offered me an upgrade due to Diamond status. This I appreciated. It falls short of my expectations of Hampton due to service. The external card reader would not work the afternoon I checked in due to "humidity". They are located in Tampa, FL, humidity is pretty much a year-round thing. I asked for a new chair because mine was broken, they gave me another one (after close to an hour) that sat lower than the one that was broken, making work at the desk difficult. Room service did not clean up adequately, leaving a coffee cup on the desk and newspaper on the floor. If very convenient to your purpose, not a bad choice, but I'll be staying at a different hotel the next time I'm in the area.
